I have to give them 5 stars they were just about perfect. We had driven about 8 hrs too ok get here. I always wanted to go to Theodore Roosevelt national park and this hotel was the closest one, I think.

Great hotel in medora. Friendly staff and the beds were some of the more comfortable ones ive had in a while!👌 thw staff was always suoer helpful woth any questions about the town and park.

Very nice and clean and quiet

Uncomfortable, very soft, mushy non-supportive mattresses. Very small televisions. No volume on certain channels like ESPN and the Weather Channel. Televisions make several audio thumping-like sounds when you turn them on. Couldn't get any meaningful information on Hurricane Dorian while staying at hotel. The bathtub drain plug comes apart when it is supposed to be fixed in place. Slightly rundown appearance from unfixed wear and tear. Basically hotel seems to be ignoring maintenance issues. Good housekeeping though, quiet if your room is not next to an ice-maker or a pop machine or an outside entrance door. Nice a close to Medora and less than 5 minute walk to restaurants and shops and the once convenience store.

One of the coolest locations for a hotel I’ve been to. Rooms and bathrooms were great. Nice staff. Above average breakfast. Will come again. I went in March when not too many people are traveling, and loved how those it was to Teddy Roosevelt National Park. Also about a thirty minute drive to the Montana border.

This is the place to stay in Medora! Very comfortable beds, very friendly, very clean, nice rooms, wonderful staff. Great pool and very good breakfast!! I look forward to my next stay!

This was our first stay at an AmericInn and it was fantastic! The staff was very friendly and showed true hospitality. The breakfast was awesome and the bed was extremely comfortable. I enjoyed my time in the hot tub and I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay in the area.

This is a great little town, and this AmericInn perfectly fits the mood of Medora. Much nicer accommodations than even full three star establishments we have stayed at recently. Breakfast was a bit better than expected as well. Highly recommended.

Nice hotel in a great location. A bit on the pricey side for the room and amenities, but I guess you pay for the location which you can't include if rating the hotel itself. Rooms were decent and pool was clean, but not worth $218 a night.

First we were given the wrong room, can happen, no problem. Hotel looks good. Our real room is enormous. We have plenty of space. Staff is friendly, rooms are in beautiful colours. Like it! Good parking lot in front of hotel. Area seems quiet although near train line, but they do not to horn at railroad crossings. Seen some pass and it was quiet. Hot tub is great!

Very spacious and clean facilities. Stayed 3 nights and all the staff were very friendly. Bonus for the discount card and recommendation to eat at the Little Missouri Saloon. Will definitely use this hotel in the future. Location to Theodore Roosevelt National Park is excellent. Only issue is breakfast could be a little better. Only had breakfast meat on friday. Potatoes on Saturday and Sunday.

Easy check in and nice room. Literally right across from the South entrance to teddy Roosevelt park. Would definitely stay here again

Very spacious and nice bathtub inside. We very much enjoyed our stay during the visit to the Theodore Roosevelt National Park. The Park is right by the hotel, very convenient location.

With check-in, you may receive some discount coupon for the restaurant in the town. There was a nice bar as well.

If you're planning to visit the National Park or just to relax in the peaceful town, this is the hotel you're looking for.

Clean, beautiful, affordable price

I swung through Medora during the off-season, and stayed at this hotel because it had two beds available in the room. While I didn't give this hotel much forethought, I was tremendously impressed by what I found. The hotel was clean and well-appointed. The complimentary breakfast was just fine and filled me up; it had cereal, juice, yogurt, fruit, eggs, sausage, pastries, oatmeal, and a waffle maker. The workers were all friendly and helpful. The price was competitive. Although the hotel is on the south side of the main street, it is an easy walk downtown and to restaurants and stores. It was my first time stay at an AmericInn, and if this hotel is reflective of the brand, I am excited to stay at more AmericInns in the future. Highly recommended.

Everything we have stayed it is always clean and quiet. Employees are very nice and helpful. Do recommend making reservations in advance.

Really nice place with a pool and a hot tub, both have a saltwater filter, so it makes you feel more refreshed. Free breakfast in the morning - possibilities are endless. There's eggs, toast, begals, oatmeal, cereal, juice, coffee and more. Really fancy lobby as well, with coffee there, too.

The bed was comfortable, and the facilities were all well maintained. Breakfast was good too. The only slight complaint would be that the doors in our suite between the sitting are and the bedroom were glass, and there were no curtains or blinds, so we couldn't really put our son to bed early and keep the lights on in the sitting area.

I stayed in this hotel four days and the first 3 days the room was not cleaned. The staff at the hotel was great but as I said the room needed to be cleaned every day and only made it once. I must say that they did give me a 10% discount for days I was there.

Older facility, but well kept up and clean. Cozy lobby with fireplace, breakfast and wifi included. Very quiet rooms. Near entrance to Theodore Roosevelt Park, and walking distance to several restaurants.

Clean and updated rooms- they look very nice. Sink is separated from shower and toilet. Very close location to Theodore Roosevelt National Park (within 4 minutes of the South Unit entrance), also within walking distance of "downtown" Medora. Decent size indoor pool and hot tub. Breakfast in the morning was standard continental options, nothing to rave about but definitely better than some other hotels.

I attended a gathering of a little over 50 the meeting room was nice and easy to get to. Bathrooms were fairly clean. If I needed to would uses this venue for events and to stay.

Decided last minute to stay here during my honeymoon and it was amazing. Off season and no one around so the rate was fabulous and they upgraded us to the honeymoon suite. Clerk was siper helpful on what was available to do since a lot was closed and the suite was great. Breakfast was the norm for most places.

We stayed in the honeymoon suite and loved the in-room jacuzzi and fireplace. Everything was clean and comfortable. The room door caught on the carpet a little, but that was the only flaw we found. We didn't need them this trip, but loved that there were laundry facilities available and that the pool was open until midnight (for adults). Breakfast was a standard hotel breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

Went in the off-season and was amazed at the value! The rooms are huge and clean, the staff was curtious. They also had a very nice free breakfast, we did find a moldy bagel that was set out. But for under $60 a night this place was a steal! Also they had a buy one get one drink deal set up with a local bar which was great.

Wonderful staff and hotel. Stayed over Christmas and could not have had a better experience. Clean, comfortable and beautiful location. Walking distance to town and only a mile or so to the entrance to Theodore Roosevelt National Park.Our daughter swam in the indoor pool while we played pool and relaxed. A hot breakfast was provide and coffe always in the lobby. We visit Medora 3 or 4 times a year. This will be where we stay from now on. Thank you!

Outstanding! Very clean. Room was large and spacious. Staff extremely friendly. Easy walking distance to the sites of Medora. Good breakfast. I would highly recommend this hotel. The price was outstanding too-a great value.

Stayed here for an extended stay. Rooms were comfortable, clean and up to date. Staff was very accommodating and housekeeping payed attention to detail. Complimentary coupon for the Little Missouri dining room where service was probably the best in town and food was good and reasonably priced.

Staff is nice, maybe a little too nice so they give you a lower room then what you have booked. so we had to go back to get a better room like we ordered, but even then it was still not as said on the web.

My kids and I went to visit my husband who is working in Medora North Dakota. It was my son's birthday and they graciously upgraded our room to a sweet to make it more enjoyable for my husband's family. Outstanding customer service, very clean, faith and by far the best place to stay in Medora.

Fantastic quiet stay, amazing front desk employees, great breakfast (loved the eggs!), super clean, and we loved the pool.

Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, why the HUGE discrepancy in prices?

Inquiring minds want to know. (I urge you to think long and hard before forking over two hundred bucks for a hotel in Backwater, ND.)

My wife and I retired some time ago and enjoy traveling. Some friends had visited Medora and told us of the good time that they had while there. They had stayed at this hotel and recommended it highly. We decided to take a drive up and see for ourselves and I"m glad we did. We had a great time and saw as much as we could in one day. Our stay at the motel was very relaxing. We enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi, the variety offered at breakfast and we both like anything of the old west era so the decor really made us feel at home. The employees we had contact with were friendly and helpful.

Every time I come to Dickinson, ND I choose to stay in AmericInn in Medora. It is a very nice place, remodeled with alot of history behind it. Within a walking distance to shopping and eating out. I like it alot. They have a nice swimming pool as well.

Owned & operated by a local family, this hotel has wonderful customer service and a welcoming atmosphere. The rooms are as beautiful as the lobby and the bed was so comfortable I wanted to take it home with me! Everything was very clean and everything was well-stocked with high quality items. We arrived at the hotel after midnight, yet the desk clerk & owner were very helpful and even brought us a roll-away bed for our kids by the time we had unloaded. The breakfast was delicious, fresh & filling and the owner was at the desk again waiting to help us as we departed. Some of the friendliest people we met on our road trip! Thank you so much!

We just stayed in Medora a few nights ago at the AmericInn. Our room was a non-smoking two queen bed room upstairs. It appeared that this was an older structure that had been renovated recently in the rooms but not in the lobby. The beds were comfortable, room was clean. There was a microwave and small fridge. The pool and spa were inside and were quite large and popular with the kids (so we didn't bother going in.)
