Although the customer service was awesome, the actual sleeping accommodations was not up to our expectations. We reserved the 2 Queen bed suite with 2 person sofa sleeper (to accommodate up to 7 people) - we actually were given 2 DOUBLE beds and a sofa sleeper. The smaller beds made it difficult to fit our 3 small boys in one bed and our 2 older girls on the sofa sleeper. Also, our floor was under renovations, so the hallway was a bit dark, cluttered with kick boards rolled up on the floors and the room numbers taped on a paper sign. We asked for a pet-free room due to allergies, but were placed right next to visitors with a pit bull. Our room was stuffy, smelled funny, and my son's allergies started flaring up in the early morning hours. We're Choice Hotel members, and not sure we'll continue using this family of hotels.

The hotel by far was super nice!! The staff was super nice and professional, good hot breakfast, the rooms and bathrooms were super clean, the beds were comfortable, but the pool was not heated like it said so that's why I gabe them a 4. Overall one of the best hotels.

This is a very clean hotel. The staff are kind. Fresh cookies are out almost all day with lemonade. A great variety to chose from for breakfast. Big seating area. Nice pool and gym area. Our room was very clean.

Very friendly staff, the room was nice and the pool was just right. The shower in the room was really cool. A very well designed place over all. I wouldn't even consider another hotel if I was in this area again.

I loved this hotel. I think the newly renovated rooms make it look nicer then any holiday inn. I will definitely stay again. It's a lot nicer then the pictures. The staff was so kind and helpful. I traveled from out of state and drove around for 2 days with a toddler and was crashing on friend's and families couches before I could find an accommodation. There was terrible flooding in the area at the time which led all my reservations to be cancelled before I finally was able to get in touch with the staff here. They were simply amazing.

Extremely friendly and accommodating to guests. They even serve breakfast half an hour early to accommodate their guests needs. The lady at the front desk told me that the hotel sees a lot of construct ton working folks and they get up early, and out is so nice to see a business actively responding to the needs of the market in way that benefits the consumer and generates stickiness.

Amazing customer service. Very clean. I'm super picky with hotel rooms and where I stay and I have to say this is now my go to hotel while in the area from now on.
TVs r big. Direct TV. Everything works good in room. Fridge , microwave, water pressure in shower, beds r comfortable etc. 5 stars from me :)

The room was really nice, but the rest needs some upgrades. "The exercise room only had one thing that worked, the pool was suppose to be heated, but was cool, and don't go down 6:30 for breakfast, because the biscuits were hard the eggs were like rubber and the bacon had no taste." I will be fare when we let them know they did change thing over." Oh! and in reference to the staff is very accommodating and polite which made things a bit better. Thank you..

Second time we have stayed with our large dogs for the dog show in Louisville. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Rooms very clean and quiet. Will be back again!!

The room was clean, bed pretty comfortable, staff was very pleasant. Breakfast was ok. Eggs, bacon, sausage patties, biscuits and sausage gravy were good but needed to be hotter, fruit seemed to be fresh cut,not canned,and all food had good flavor.

Pretty nice hotel. Daily breakfast was good. Hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming and the staff was always cleaning throughout the commom areas. Every day fresh baked cookies were put out for guests. There was a pool but we never used because it had a cloudy look to it and we decided against swimming in it. Room was spacious and hotel is close to a lot of restaurants and the interstate.

Probably the nicest place I have ever stayed. Clean nice rooms. Nice pool. Even the grounds kept nicely. Super friendly staff eager to help. I have heard of complimentary breakfast but cookies in the evening too? Way to go guys. Close to kart country. Lots of places to eat nearby but don't miss out on breakfast here. It's amazing. Vending machines and free laundry facilities. Also free admission to YMCA next door during your stay. Could not have been more impressed. Well worth every penny spent and I recommend it to everyone I talk to looking for a hotel in that area. Quiet stay the whole time. Fitness room looked amazing but didn't actually use it. Keep up the good work!! Above and beyond my expectations and I have been in customer service field over 18 years now. Thanks for a pleasant stay....

A hidden gem. After driving for hours I turned into this facility. The staff greeted me with a big smile and helped me get situated. Ideal for ladies traveling alone.

Good mattress, excellent shower, really good hot breakfast. They handled three different marching bands simultaneously that weekend (we basically owned the hotel) and I didn't hear any complaints from our kids. The hot breakfast kept up with a couple hundred kids trying to prepare for a cold day's competition.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Sleep Inn, Shepherdsville. We liked our King room, and the walk-in shower. The staff seemed friendly and helpful. We had a very good experience.

Amazing staff! Very friendly and helpful. Cleanest motel/hotel I have been to in years. As an IT technician I see the things no one else does. There is nothing to complain about here and the new wifi system we are installing will give this site the best coverage of any property I have serviced in years.

This hotel is right on the top of my list. Love the friendly staff. And they were very accommodating to me and my small dog. I'm looking forward to my next stay. The only negative thoughts i have is how small the pillows were, and the queen beds were kind-of lower in the middle, than on the sides. My husband kept rolling tword me in the middle of the night. (FYI he is a large man) 😂

Hotel was wonderful and I had a great stay. However the mattresses you could tell were quite old and not the best for sleeping on as they had a slope to the middle. We told the front desk and they let us know they have order new beds for the entire hotel and that half the room are now updated. Was honestly one of the best stays I have had other than the beds.

Arrived without reservation, young lady at front desk was very polite. Got us a room which was on the ground floor. Very clean. Nice breakfast buffet in morning. Good variety.

The hotel was clean, staff helpful & friendly. The beds are very tall, too high for my wife to get in easily. Would stay again with a shorter bed, or a taller wife. Shower rod was pulling out of wall, staff will repair. Had a TV problem, staff came fast & reset tv for me. Breakfast was plentiful & tasty, had seconds.

This is the cleanest, most friendly hotel in the area! We come from Georgia several times a year and if they don't have a room we don't travel! Beds are comfortable, it's affordable and it's clean!!! I can't stress clean enough. It's CLEAN!!!!

Nice room, but when facing the road, the room seems to resonate with sound. You can hear the neighbor's tv easily through the walls too.

Rooms are very comfortable but was disappointed in the night staff. There were kids running all over and adults being very loud throughout the hotel. When I complained to the front desk she told me there was nothing she could do. She only went to the room above us after she thought we would complain to the manager.

We were traveling, needed to stop It was after midnight & the lady was very helpful, got us in a room very quick & with a late checkout. Our daughter got sick so we ended up staying 2 nights, they were all exceptional! We've stayed there two nights since. The hotel is very clean, pool is great & the staff is Amazing!!!

Stayed overnight as a quick rest stop. Very convenient for short stays but has all the amenities for a longer stay.

For the money I didn't expect the place to be so nice. It was great! I think the shower was the best part. I never expect a hotel to have good water pressure and it was incredible!

Mostly clean and comfortable. However, the breakfast was not kept stocked the whole breakfast time. Anyone coming in to breakfast during the last half hour got only the scraps. The public restroom on the first floor was not checked often enough.

Fantastic hotel for the money. We stayed while doing the Bourbon trail and we plan to come back to this location to use it as a "home base" if and when we do the trail again. Fantastic rooms for the price, and the full continental breakfast was great too - fresh waffles, or biscuits and gravy were options alongside the typical cereal/bagels.

A very nice hotel. Good sized rooms, comfy rooms, staff was friendly, breakfast was fantastic (especially the sausage gravy), everything was clean and in good repair. Can't ask for much more from a basic hotel.

I stayed 6-24-16. Upon arrival all of the common areas were receiving nice new carpet. There were also fresh cookies at check in. The overall appearance of the property was wonderful. I only have 1 major & 1 minor complaint. The minor was that there was someone's very old leftovers in the mini fridge. The BIGGEST issue I had was that both of the mattresses in my room, were VERY, VERY worn out. When I laid down I think I bottomed out on top of the box spring. I very poor sleep. They did honor my request for a ground floor which I appreciated. I hope that after the new carpet goes down they will replace the mattresses. The staff & breakfast was good. Wish there had been some fresh fruit.

Room was clean and and very well kept. Great breakfast in the morning. The only problem I had was i didn't get the wake up call i requested. Hotel was in a safe location. Would stay in this hotel again.

House keeping was awful. I stayed ten days and my linen was only changed once.

Where do I begin? When we first checked in our room was very nice and a decent size and we thought we were getting a good deal. The breakfast was OK but its complimentary so I wasn't expecting much. The housekeeping service was awful. Our bed was somewhat re made and they changed the trash and provided new towels. However they did not supply new cups, ice bags, or toiletries. Then in my mother and father in laws room they requested toilet paper and the bed to be made, the maid said OK and when we came back that was not done. They also checked them out a day early so my mother in law had to tell them to re check her in and they said they may not be able to give her the same rate, but ended up doing so. Then we were all in her room when another guest used his keycard and opened our door and then apologized for having the wrong room. When we went to the desk right after the incident, the girl working the desk said no one came down to say their key was incorrect which made us VERY uneasy. So if you're thinking of staying here DON'T DO IT.
