Great hotel. They have a nice indoor pool and jacuzzi, there's a decent gym area and they also offer a complimentary pass to a nearby gym. The breakfast is a good spread and they have a good selection of snacks and misc items in the lobby as well. The rooms are very modern and have a TV with smart TV features for streaming. My only complaint is the TV is in a very weird location, so you can only watch it comfortably from a single chair in the corner.

Great location. Really wonderful staff there. I can't remember a staff member that we passed by that didn't greeted us. Nigel at the front desk did an excellent job at check-in. He sure took great care of us and was willing to go above and beyond to ensure that our stay was worth it being there. Was certainly surprised to know of the indoor pool and hot tub. Breakfast was a really good too. Would certainly recommend this hotel and would definitely return if I'm in the area.

Staff is nice. Breakfast has a nice variety. Only downside is AC in our room didn't dehumidify, as well as, it should have. Staff said it was because we were near the ocean.

Very clean and in excellent condition. Service was outstanding. Front desk clerks were especially great. House keeping staff were working very hard, but our room wasn't cleaned until after 5pm after our first night there. There didn't seem to be enough of them scheduled to work.

Nice place. It is an extended stay hotel. Our room was just a 2 bed suite and we still had a full size refrigerator and a 2 burner stove plus a dishwasher. We only stayed 2 nights and didn't take advantage of the kitchen but will remember it. Only complaint would be the small parking lot and spaces plus the soft soft beds. I like a pillow top bed but these were more like a pillow bed. It won't keep us from returning though.

Loved the room. Lot's of new amenities. Pet friendly. Had three rooms for less than a junky one room at the over-priced Holiday Inn.

Dog friendly, clean, quiet accommodation. Very small room, although kitchenette was decent size. Have stayed there twice. Recommend.

Rooms are nice and clean. A/C is cold and not too loud. Decent location, very friendly and helpful staff! Even went and got some packs of butter for me so I could cook! They have average Wi-Fi, a pool, decent breakfast, and a small gym. Gym has 2 treadmills, 1 elliptical, 1 exercise bike, dumbbells from 10 to 50 pounds, several medicine balls, and several of those big beach ball looking things.

This place is pretty nice for the price you get it. The breakfast was NOT very big or good.

They are very nice. The rooms are great. The breakfast is superb. Will definitely stay again.

If you're on a strict budget then this will work for you. If you're looking for a nice place then look elsewhere! The rooms are very small, the bed was ok and we had to go to the front desk a few times because the room didn't get coffee and shampoo replaced. The shower also sounded like a screaming cat! The staff was nice though but our room was above the outside smoking area and people were out there drinking and being noisy. Probably wouldn't go back!

Definitely reasonably priced and centrally located right outside Wilmington.

Check in and out went smoothly and was easy in and easy out, no issues.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The lobby is small but well organized and they have plenty of TV screens placed for all guests to easily view. There is a stoked convenience area were you can purchase essentials. drinks and snacks. The rooms are adequately sized for two people to easily move about without bumping into each other. Plenty of AC outlets conveniently placed to charge all your electronic devices.

The Bed was comfortable (medium firmness) as well as the pillows (except they were a bit on the hard side). The Shower, sink and toilet area was clean and adequately sized - the only issue is that water pressure could have been better. However, plenty of hot water. The room had no odors or commercial fragrances, very neutral smelling.

The free breakfast included your expected staples of eggs (fried) hot/cold cereals and meat and breads (also included a veggie sausage one day) and was set up and ready to go as expected.

Friendly staff and reasonable prices. Furniture a little worse for the wear.

When you walk through the front door you're hit with the smell of industrial cleaner. Don't worry it doesn't travel through to the rooms. This is an older Hotel filled with blue collar workers during the week. Trust me, they know where to find a good deal. The rooms are starting to show their age or I'd give it five stars. Their were a couple of problems in my room. The carpet around the A/C unit was falling off and the metal in the bathroom was starting to rust. Everything else was great.

It was very well priced. The location is short taxi ride from downtown.

Very clean! Beds were very comfortable and I was very pleased with the full kitchen! Perfect for a long stay or families that would rather eat in for a long weekend. I would highly recommend this hotel and plan on booking with them again in the future!

Every single staff member I spoke to was incredibly friendly and helpful. Very accommodating about early check in/late check out. Clean, comfortable room with kitchenette.

This hotel is very clean. Smells nice. Seems new. Our room was clean. The shower drain didn't work well. Otherwise it was great. The closet was walk in. So much storage. Microwave, fridge, freezer, two burner stove, dishwasher. Breakfast was not good. We aren't super picky but already formed then warmed fried egg are gross. Turkey Bacon. Nah Coffee not so good. After a nice stay breakfast made us sad. Over all good stay. Bring your own food.

The staff was very helpful and gracious. The breakfast was pretty good, crowded, but good. The room was clean (the only issue we had was we brought our dog and they gave us a pet friendly room. It had fleas. We had to make an emergency trip to petsmart and get flea killer.) Other than that, it was a good stay.

I stayed at TownePlace for 2 days on a business trip. There was a mix up with the reservation (our fault, not theirs) where we only booked for the 2nd night of a 2 night trip. They quickly set us up for both nights with no issues. The room was clean. Service was great. Breakfast was pretty standard but tasty. Great experience. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Staff was friendly and helpful with our chaotic stay (we had to switch rooms halfway through because of our Marriott points). I would highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again. They offer a full continental breakfast and adjusted the times so it ended a little later during July 4th. During our room switching, I asked the front desk for information which she needed to look up, I told her I was going to the gym and would be back, instead, she came to the gym to provide me with the information requested! To me, that is going above normal service because she could have waited for my return. It was a very nice gesture of service. The hotel maids were also a delight to speak to in the halls and I was able to laugh with one on an elevator. Everyone in the establishment was friendly.

Good location! One staff member was a little short but I know this is not the norm for this location. Nice rooms and tons of amenities.

The service here is very good. They have complimentary breakfast every morning and it is simple and yummy. The pricing is also doable. You can stay at this hotel for a few weeks without hurting your wallet too much.

This hotel is old and you can tell. Can't imagine staying here prior to the renovation. They did a decent job with the updates but you can still tell that it's lipstick on a pig. Staff is very friendly. They do keep coffee in the lobby which is appreciated. It gets the job done and we were satisfied but we probably won't stay here again unless there's nothing else available. We prefer our hotel to be a little nicer. We look for at least a 7/10 and this place would be a 6 IMHO. The TV takes forever to change the channel and signal constantly went in and out. A small table for eating would have been appreciated rather than the decorative end table (they went for space rather than practical so we understand). Breakfast area small for weekend crowds and the pool was very small. Hot tub was dirty. Poor lighting in the bathroom. Staff made the experience better than the total.

We have stayed here several times over the past few years and always have a great experience. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The service is also excellent. The hotel is fairly close to the beach and there are good restaurants within a short drive.

The hotel was nice but the housekeeping didn't replace anything in our room. We did sleep in a bit but after returning to the hotel around 9 nothing had been done. They didn't replace tissues on the sink (we ran out), our beds weren't made, our trash was still overflowing, we purposely left out towels hanging up so they wouldn't replace them so that was fine. There is only one ice machine in the whole building which is on the 1st floor which is a little inconvient because we were on the 3rd floor. I loved the kitchenette but the dishes all seemed dirty and there was no detergent(only dishwasher detergent) provided to hand wash the dishes. We didnt eat breakfast so I don't really have an opinion about that. When turning into the hotel the entrance not well lit at night so if you are going too fast you will pass it. When we first got in we passed it and turned into the 2nd driveway on the left which is a completely different hotel and the parking lots do not connect. The hotel is very close to a lot of things so that was great. If you love a good burger then Tilted Kilt is the place to go (order the F.A.B Burger). We came from Greensboro, NC so the drive for is was about 3 hours.

Room was clean and very comfortable with tons of storage and good kitchen. All staff were very helpful, but Charmaine on the front desk was a particular standout with her dinner recommendations to go along with her sense of humor and effervescent and charming personality!

Great service, got in after a red-eye, and they let me check in at 9:30 AM. Nice rooms with a mini kitchen, TV was kind of small is my only complaint.

Nice accommodations. Carpets, trim work, door handles are all decent. Nothing feels cheap. With little traffic, you can get to Wrightsville Beach within 5 or 10 minutes.

Very nice hotel & friendly, helpful staff. I had a Queen room, the TV was set up at a weird angle & hard to see but not a big deal, nice kitchen area with a small stove top, refridergerator, dishwasher & sink with dishes & pots and pans included. Breakfast was nice. I would definetly stay here again.

The location was great not far from the beach the service was amazing reserving the room it has and indoor swimming pool and jacuzzi the pool could be bigger but perfect for kids the price was very decent for the stay I really enjoyed it

We stayed in a one room suite. Very clean. They allowed our dog. For the luxation and the amenities (indoor pool, breakfast, etc) I thought the price was very reasonable. Ask the staff were very courteous. Room had small kitchen queen bed and sleeper sofa.

I had issues. 1st hair all over the bathroom floor which the manager came up to sweep. Then found hair all in the closet. Housekeeping came to sweep and then found a roach crawling on the ceiling above my bed before I went to lay down. I called management and they offered to come up and kill it. I declined and just left. I usually have good experiences with this chain.

The best hotel I've stayed at, out of the last 4 hotel as I've been it this trip. The beds were very expensive feeling level of comfort the rooms were very clean and very appealing. There was so much they did with the room to make it better than other hotel rooms for a comprable price. I don't know how they do it for the price ... I I'm really impressed! Pet friendly!😺🐕🐆

Clean rooms, nice kitchenette with good sized fridge. Breakfast included is fairly basic, but decent. Closet door has another door access in the bathroom, which is cool... But you can't lock that door so people can enter your bathroom through the closet.

Nice hotel within 5 miles of Wrightsville Beach. Property has some extended stay folks and does allow animals, but my room was good and had no evidence of such. The King room I had was comfortable, TV was laid out weird, not easy to see from part of the bed, but ok. Shower had lots of hot water - the room I was in had a shower curtain that needed a bleaching, but wasn't so bad that I needed to change rooms. Staff were friendly and breakfast was well stocked and complimentary. Price was very good. I would stay here again.

The rooms are nice. I loved that their bedsheets were good quality where I actually feel comfortable sleeping sleeping in them. Parking was a bit tight but hotel staff does allow you to park in handicapped or double park around one of their vehicles if you notify them. Breakfast was delicious as well!!

Rooms where nice and clean but small, you cant move around in your room if you have to fold out the sofa bed . But we had issues with having no parking in the parking lot. Front desk said to park in handicap which i felt so bad for doing but didnt have any other choice. Keys never wanted to work on our room but worked on other doors, like side doors to get into building, pool area. When we brought this to customer services attention she kept saying its not the door its your cell phone zapping the keys. Told the lady a few times our phones never came close to the keys. We were only there for 3nights and never got housekeeping. If we needed anything we either had to go to the front desk or track a maid down on another floor. I know i will be heading back to Wilmington next yr but i think ill find another place to stay.

The room was quite small for four people. I recommend moving around the furniture for more space (specifically for the pullout couch)

We have stayed here before the rooms are always nice but the beds suck. I don't know if they are memory foam or not but they need a different kind of bed. The foam causes you to sink to the middle of the bed no support whatsoever

Stayed for 2 nights and when we arrived our room had a strong vinegar smell. We thought it would disapate and originally thought maybe the staff cleaned with a vinegar based cleaner. On the day of checkout the room still smelled of vinegar and am now wondering if vinegar was used to mask another odor ( pet odor?). We would definitely speak up in the future if a vinegar smell is so prevalent and request a different room.

The lounge looked very nice. Once we got into the room, the first thing I noticed was that the chairs in the room were old and peeling. After asking about them, I was told the renovations were pushed back. I'm sure once renovations are done it will be beautiful. The pool is very small and there was a large hole in the wall in the fitness room. The rest of the experience was alright. For $145 dollars I expected more. Also when I checked my bank account, I was charged $170, but my receipt said $145.

My family and I stayed here for 6 nights because my husband had a job to do here and we are from FL, so we needed a safe place to stay at a descent rate. We felt very safe and comfortable, this hotel was conveniently priced at around $85 a night after taxes and has a kitchen with microwave, fridge, stove top (no oven), dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, plates, cups, and silverware. Hotel staff was very pleasant and with staying 6 nights we met quite a few! The room we stayed in was very clean and smelled fresh. We most definitely loved it and enjoyed staying here... We would recommend this hotel to EVERYONE, even pet owners, as we also had our German Shepherd with us.
