Wonderful hotel and staff! I would not change a thing......EXCEPT the phone intercept that amerricinn international does when you go to make a reservation to try to sell you crap you don't want nor need!

Let the hotel phone alone and sell your junk somewhere else!

There is a direct number to the hotel and it's worth finding it and using it! These are good people!

We had our dogs Along on a trip and the dog friendly room was very nice. I can see my family staying here since they have a large pool area with lots to do. The breakfast bar was very good. Easily four stars.

Great little places. Indoor pool. However no elevator. Places to eat close by. Great paddle boat ride and look out park with view of the Mississippi. After we found out no elevator they worked with us to get a place on 1st floor. Would definitely come back for a weekend.

The rooms, staff, and, view are great! The internet is terrible (at least in the room I was in) so I couldn't get work done. Great place for the kids as well. They have a nice and well maintained pool area.

We have been coming here with our boating group for 20 years, every July. Since new ownership in the last year ,I have seen a lot of changes here for the better. The outdoor patio bar , also the room updates and interior remodeling to the building. We will look forward to next year also to see what changes are made by then . Keep up the good work!!

Hotel is working on updating the rooms. Very good for a three star hotel. Pool area is fun. FYI - the slide for the pool is only open on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Continental breakfast choices are pretty good. Simple, but good. Staff was very friendly.

We were just there Thursday and Friday by boat. Very nice docks, nice clean updated rooms, great pool area for kids, outside area great for a drink and food. Breakfast self serve with a friendly helpful server which our group tripped. We will be back.

Good location along river. Feels like a relaxing resort rather than a hotel. Building is well maintained but not modern. Room 261 seemed recently renovated. Breakfast was above average for included breakfast hotels. Kids liked pool area. Large little kid pool was nice for 2yo. I would be happy to return.

The hotel check in was fast and easy. The room was decent, only found 1 hair so the cleanliness was manageable. Breakfast was good and the staff was friendly. The swimming area was terrible. The main reason we, and a number of others, booked the hotel was for the water slide. The staff failed to mention that it is only open during certain hours on certain days and only if they have staffing. Friday night it was supposed to be open by 4 but it was still closed at 6:30. I went and asked and was told it wouldn't be opening at all that evening. No sign up or anyone coming to inform us. The area was also EXTREMELY hot. I won't be back to this hotel for the swimming area reasons alone.

Hotel being remodeled, feels very tired and run down. However, room was clean. We had s king room and there was plenty of space in the room had we wanted to set up one or two extra beds for kids. The pool area was great - HOT on a hot day, COLD for the rest of the weekend as the weather cooled down! Water was always cold, my son's lips were bluish when he got out each time! Friday we never caught the slide in operation, even during posted times. Pool area is nice and large, at center of hotel, large atrium with glass ceiling. Small whirlpool, decent sized little kids area, smaller deeper pool with 2 basketball nets. The nets are back to back so hard to not be on top of strangers while playing. The slide is fun but dumps into the deep end so not great for little kids or those not comfortable going under the water.

Arrived at the hotel at 3pm to check in. Was told room was not ready and told a bunch of times to stop back in 5 minutes. We finally were able to check in at 4pm. Walked in the room and had to call down to have sheets changed. There was dried blood on them. Slide in the water area (big reason we booked here) was out of service. Bartender at Tiki Bar was super rude. Signed up for Wyndham rewards but unsure if using this chain again.

Only reason I even gave it two stars was because my previous experience prior to this was much better.

Our room was by the pool, which is a bad thing if you want sleep. Lots of noise, even past "quiet hours." Everything else was fine.

I checked in on a Monday and provided my card for incidentals, as my company's card had been listed for the actual room. My card ended up getting charged immediately for the cost of the room for the entire week. After contacting the front desk, I'd been assured that it had been fixed and that a credit would be posted to my card. On Wednesday, I contacted the front desk to ask about something else and decide to ask again about the card. They said my card was still listed. I contacted my bank and they told me the first charge had already posted, no credit has shown up in their system to process and there was ANOTHER charge for the full weeks stay pending! They'd charged my card AGAIN for the full amount, despite my company reaching out and being assured that they'd deleted my card and put the company card back on. As a result, I'd overdrafted and had no money in my account until I got paid that Friday. The night auditor I attempted to talk to (that I was told would be the person to fix everything) was extremely rude as well. He made me feel like I was the biggest nuisance ever and that he didn't give a damn. I'll be recommending to my company that they do no further business with this hotel in the future.

This is an excellent place to stay. There is a restaurant onsite, room service is excellent. Indoor pool open to the sky, so the room is flooded with natural light. Hot tub, exercise room and laundry also available. Just a short drive to downtown. Comfortable beds and pillows. The only downside to it was that there is a children's pool with a bucket that constantly fills up and splashes down. Once I got used to the noise it didn't bother me anymore. Highly recommend!

Great restaurant inside, with actual events! The pool area is so nice that the local people in La Crosse pay 5 bucks to use it.

Friday night comedy night at Moxy, the place was packed, I know to have patience but they got my drink wrong 3 times. Server didn't come by to ask is everything was ok. The food was pretty good. May need to have more servers on a comedy night.

I went to Moxie's for dinner a few nights ago. They were very accommodating and the pool table/games kept my kids busy while we waited for food. The food came quickly and was really good. We have received service from Greg multiple times at Moxie's and he is fantastic!

Very nice hotel next too a bar with live music and a tiki bar. Had a great pool area with water slide! Bad thing is that the pool area is over loaded with kids who do not watch who they are running into. They run through the pool area. It was not pleasantand was liked that both days. Adults allowed to get drunk in pool area which was not what we wanted for our family. But all other things were 5 stars!

7

Excellent location, very comfortable accommodations. Live music and tiki bar were okay, but enjoyable none the less. We were placed close to the pool which was pretty noisy but that's expected due to the children and type of pool. The breakfast was excellent, lots of options, fresh, some healthy, with an attendant to keep things clean and restocked.

We were there for a children's event. The place seemed nice and there was plenty of room for the event. The bathrooms by the conference rooms needed some attention. The garbages we're all full and the stalls could have used a wipe down. Other than that our experience there was good for the event we were attending.

Rooms are nice and clean. Hotel common areas, including the hallways feel dated and could use a facelift. Rooms, however, appear to have been updated except for the doors and door hardware.

Pool area was well kept and clean as well. The water slide was fun, especially for the kids.

A little dated even though decor is updated. With the conference center and restaurant it's makes for good food. The tiki bar is the highlight, great environment right off the river, good drink.

The pool was wonderful. We traveled with two young children (2 & 4). The staff was friendly and the room was comfortable. The hotel rooms have been updated the the hotel itself is slightly dated in areas. I would gladly stay here again.

Clean but not new. Indoor water park looked fun. Tiki bar in back is nice with a river view. Nice bed and pillows. Cleaning crew kept bothering me before checkout time.

Went for lunch at the tiki bar overlooking the water. Standard drink selection. Food was good. The spinach artichoke dip was practically soup it was so runny, but it tasted delicious. The cobb salad had plenty of toppings. I actually ran out of lettuce and still had half my toppings left to bring home for a second salad. Good food, good service, better than my previous hotel restaurant food experiences, but also not incredible. The view was nice though, and it's always a great afternoon when you are by the water.

Stayed here previously when it was the Best Western. They have already made a lot of improvements to the restaurant and outdoor deck area. Hopefully they continue and updated the rooms soon too. I had a pool facing room so it was loud until 10-1030 pm when that area shit's down. Other than that I had no issues with my stay and would recommend it.

Was here for a wedding. Everything ran very smoothly. The food was a little bland but it was OK. The servers did a great job, and the bartenders were awesome. There happened to be some love music next to where the reception was which was cool too.

The staff was helpful but there was no housekeeping service unless you asked for it specifically. The pool was great. It has a nice waterslide. The breakfast was average but consisted of scrambled eggs, bacon, waffles and the other usual Continental items.

Visited for an event. Venue was under construction or had recently been worked on (plaster patchong showing on walls). The room we were in was a bit warm/stuffy, but the staff was nice, the food was good, and parking plentiful.

New owners took over in September and have been working on renovations bit by bit since. Open swim sun-thurs, slide only runs fri-sun and sometimes thurs. Chlorine smell can be strong so if that bothers you book away from pool. Bar staff is great and friendly

We were there for a pool party, and there was only one changing room per gender, which made the party very complicated when dealing with multiple children. As there is a water play area at the hotel, one would think a locker room or more changing rooms would be available, since the park is available for use without a room reservation at the hotel.
