We've stayed before and it was great. This last time though was disappointed with the cleanliness of our room. Especially the shower 🤢. I didn't make a fuss to the desk they were super busy. I went out and got some supplies from up the road and just cleaned it myself to feel better. I was a few hours ahead of my husband so I wanted to make sure it was perfect for him. He worked so hard to give us our first weekend away together in years.
It is a nice quite kid free zone, which any busy parents can appreciate sooooo much! There's a great little store just up the road with an excellent wine selection and very knowledgeable staff.
With that being said it we would probably stay here again but when we call to make reservations will be sticklers about our room condition.

This was our 3rd visit here and we will definitely return again. It is our relaxing Oasis. I do feel that for the price, there are a couple of ways they could improve. I feel there should be pillow options/better pillows, as well as better options for breakfast. Also, we were told it would take 15 min for breakfast to be delivered one morning, and after an hour, we called back and I think we had been forgotten. Overall, we still love Belamere and would highly recommend it!

This was our third overnight stay at Belamere. As always, the room was well stocked and very clean. It has a modern, neutral decor (we've stayed at other adult resorts in the past and they are always a bit kitsch and in need of a little renovation. Belamere as far as I'm concerned needs nothing.) There's an Italian place close by that delivers (they get heavy-handed with the garlic) but Belamere also offers pizza and snacks delivered to your door. We stay in the Grand Royal Suite which has a fantastic in-room pool, garage, sauna, jacuzzi tub, king size bed, electric fireplace and double walk-in shower. They supply bathrobes for use during your stay. Bring a Bluetooth enabled music device to connect to their in room stereo. The mattresses are on the too-firm side for my taste.

Absolutely incredible couples hotel. Top for a reason and truly lavish. Very reasonably priced and everything you could want out of a hotel room: high quality, clean, spacious, comfortable and you know, a giant pool in the room. Best hotel I've ever stayed at, period.

We're staying her tonight. Private indoor pool, fireplace, Bluetooth in the pool room, double walk-in shower, Jacuzzi tub in the room, lots of privacy, a garage, beautiful grounds. A bit pricey, but we really needed a respite today and are loving this place. Will be ready to face life again tomorrow. Thank you to our sisters for this terrific wedding gift.

This place really deserves it's recognition. #1 in the US for romantic getaway. The staff is ALWAYS super friendly. The rooms are clean, nice and beautifully decorated. From the large two person walk in shower, to the oversize jacuzzi, heated indoor pool and personal sauna. Highly recommend staying here! My wife and I love it !

Wonderful! We enjoyed our two-night stay for our 10 year wedding anniversary. The staff was wonderful, the room was gorgeously appointed and very clean. The breakfast left a little to be desired, but it was fine. We cannot wait to make our return visit to Belamere! It was perfect for a quiet getaway.

My husband and I came to celebrate our anniversary. Our stay was beyond my expectations, and they were high! We booked the jacuzzi suite, and it was perfect. There are a ton of restaurants nearby, and many of them will deliver to your suite. I’m a people person, but I love the privacy you get by having a garage attached to your room. No bumping into other couples in an elevator or hallway on theway to your suite. The staff was top notch. I also loved the room decor. I can’t wait to visit the Belamere again!

Love this place for a quick weekend getaway. We've been 3 times, only ever 1 not so good experience: suite 110 seems to have a ventilation issue (pool room smells like the bathroom odors are being piped in), the clock alarm went off at midnight (maybe leftover previous guests) and we heard a lot of odd noises. Did not have this experience in any other suites here. We have 6 more stays booked in the next year and we will likely request any suite but this one in the future. Things we liked about this suite: the seating area in the pool room was lovely, the bed/shower/jacuzzi were all perfect. The staff is lovely, and the housekeeping is top notch - we will always appreciate when they come clean the room right when we need them too so we can get back in to watch whatever sports event is going on. Will continue to visit belamere, just going to avoid suite 110 perhaps until the bad odor coming from the vents is resolved.

Beautiful, I absolutely loved it here! My boyfriend & I stayed for two nights for our six year anniversary. It was beyond my expectations, the pool area was perfect & my favorite thing about it! I really liked the deck off the water, sunsets we're really pretty there. While walking around I found a little surprise I didn't know they had. There's a little bridge with a stream running through it; the bridge has a bunch of locks locked to it signed by couples that stayed there. Like a love lock bridge or something, haha. The bridge was expecially gorgeous at night with all the romantic lighting in the trees. Will definitely return one day.

Place was amazing me and my girlfriend came and just wanted to get out of town we live in Lima and didn't have time to go to far so we came here. It was exactly what we needed the place and the staff was all amazing. I recommend this to any couple looking for a romantic get away.

to my Wife and I like we've never been catered to before...and we've been in some of the highest of class places. I highly recommend this place for the ultimate romantic vacation for two.

One of the best hotel rooms stays I've ever had! Everything was great from the pool in the room to the sauna and the Furnishings of the actual Suite. Comfortable beds and clean rooms definitely four stars well worth the price! We had delivery from a nice Italian restaurant and spent hours swimming and in the pool and in the sauna! Very romantic getaway will be going back maybe for two nights this time!

This hotel is seriously crazy good. They think of everything and take care of everything. Get a room with a pool, you're never going to have that opportunity somewhere else. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Skip the extras, the room itself is good enough.

Me and my wife drove from cleveland to here... And must a say this was awesome.. Able to hop in your own pool ..... Bluetooth speakers. Jacuzzi..... Staff was awesome . Walk in shower. Comfy bed ! My wife loved it .. So i did too!

We had a great time! Wish you could check in earlier. Pool was warm and not overly chlorinated. The muffins and rolls for breakfast were warm and yummy. We had an issue with the water heater and they fixed it immediately. Will go again!

We stayed in one of their Grand Royal pool suites and loved it!! The in suite pool below was great. We Enjoyed relaxing in the pool privately and the sauna was also very relaxing. The sauna has its own radio/CD player and so does the pool area to make the experience that much better. The large jacuzzi was nice not alot of jets but, still very relaxing. Everything was very well cleaned and well presented. We also took advantage of their room service and recommend for those that don't wish to leave on their visit. Will be visiting again.

My husband & I have stayed here 3x, its about a 3hr drive for us. We always get the Grand Royal suite. The pool, bathtub, bed-its all amazing! The only 2 things I don't like is that there is no microwaves in the rooms & the breakfast leaves MUCH to be desired. If you look through the reviews on different sites there aren't many complaints but that one comes up all the time. The stale danishes & cheap OJ just doesn't match this higher end hotel. But it doesn't deter us from coming back or even giving it less than a 5 * review. We love it!

Short version: Great resort for a weekend getaway! Would recommend to any couples that are looking to spend some quality time together and forget about the outside world. Each room is fresh and clean and the staff is super friendly. The place is a bit hard to find as it is hidden away but overall great experience and can't wait to go back!

Long version: A couple of days ago we stayed at the Belamere Suites for the first time, besides coming across a couple of minor issues the experience was great! We began by checking in, the front desk was easy to find and the woman behind the desk was helpful and extremely friendly. After getting our keys and knowing we're to go we head off to our Ultimate Jacuzzi Suite.

The suites are Cosi and warm. There is a separate garage to park your car into for each suite so it makes it feel a little more welcoming. Once parked in our garage, we unlocked the room and stepped in. It was short of amazing, the middle chandelier and the mood lighting was phenomenal. It was like stepping into a proper resort. There was a 3 sided fireplace built into the wall which we immediately switched on with one of the labeled switches & it wasn't just the fireplace, everything was properly labeled and easy to use. The bed was also fantastic, very soft sheets and very clean. The Jacuzzi was wonderful and very clean as was the walk in shower. We had a wonderful night overall, just relaxing and drinking wine while sitting in our jacuzzi.

Now for the bad. There was not much that was "Bad" but there were some minor issues. One was the awful hissing sound our in room air heater/cooler was making & unfortunately there are no windows to open after having a fireplace on taking a bit shower and spending some time in the jacuzzi to cool off. The pillows were also not stellar; they were way too soft and I ended up waking up with the worst pain in my neck because of them, but it is a hotel and I haven't had a great experience with hotel pillows, it would still have been nice to see some decent pillows. Lastly, the room service experience we had was questionable. We called and ordered the complimentary breakfast at around 10:00AM as we wanted to have a bite to eat before checking out at our required time which was 11:00AM. They told us it would take about 15 minutes. Unfortunately, about an hour later when it was our checkout time the breakfast never came. We called them back to see if we could cancel the order. They apologized and gave use the breakfast to go, which I give them props for acknowledging their mistake and trying to resolve it. I will definitely have to try the room service again as I think this issue was a honest mistake.

Overall great experience and would recommend any couple for a local getaway!

My wife and I have stayed here twice now. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. There are no windows in the rooms (at the that jacuzzi suite we have stayed in) so it stays nice and dark, making sleeping in very easy! The staff is always quick to get you exactly what you need and they are all very friendly. We have plans to stay here more and more in the future!

Lovely, romantic room. We had a wonderful evening here. I would highly recommend for a honeymoon or anniversary. Don't be fooled by the location or the drive to the suites. This is a fantastic experience.

This place was incredible! I went with my best friend for a weekend getaway. The only room that was available when we booked (about 3-4 weeks in advance) was the fanciest one, so we splurged. It was a two story room with a heated pool, jacuzzi, sauna, plus a giant shower and bed with a fireplace. Such a relaxing incredible weekend. Perfect also to go to with that special someone!

Friendly & professional staff. Excellent ambience in the room. The extra perks like massage her hot tub and fireplace, as well as the pull in garage made it a very romantic stay. I would recommend all couples to experience the Belamere.

I really liked the way the rooms looked, they were very nicely decorated. The size was nice. The shower and the jacuzzi tub were great. The bed was REALLY comfortable and the comforter was nice and warm. The fire place was too. The pillows at Belamere are my favorite, they were fluffy, but not hard or too fluffy. The service was really great. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. But it was raining during almost our whole 2 night stay, so the Direct TV was not working at all, (up until we were packing to leave) on any channel we tried, that was really frustrating. The remote wasn't working with the DVD player at all, I didn't like that one bit either. The DVD player actually stopped working all together at one point. It wouldn't even turn off when we pressed the power button. But when the Direct TV wouldn't work, I called the front desk, and the women was very nice and helpful. She even offered to come down to the room to look at it and see if she could get it to work.
The hotel was pretty hard to find. We got turned around. We didn't think that it would be down the road it ended up being on, even though we went there knowing that it wouldn't quite look right. But it's really secluded, which I liked. It's really not that far from restaurants and shopping, but there's not a lot of hustle and bustle on that street. Only 18 wheeler businesses.
For the price, I was very happy with what we got. Both mornings the breakfast didn't take long after I made the order, the muffins were fresh and warm. There were two danishes, one cherry, one apple. The next morning they were raspberry and lemon. Both danishes were warm both mornings. And the orange juice was cold. We also had a choice of coffee, hot tea, or hot chocolate, we ordered hot chocolate and it was good too. We plan on staying again soon.

Unbelievable experience, must stay at least once to understand. Rooms are super spacious and very elegantly appointed. Personnel on site are very friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend getting the most room you can afford, maybe even splurge if you can.

Amazing! The place is perfect for a romantic getaway and to forget all your troubles! We had the grand royal suite and it was totally worth the price. The pool was a cozy 90 degrees and the jacuzzi was amazing! The shower was huge with plenty of room and I could not have been more happy with it. Oh and the staff here treat you like family! I will definitely be coming back here!

Great place!!! Extremely clean and private. The staff is so friendly. The one woman at front desk, Kelby, was especially sweet. If you can afford it and are hoping for some isolated and undisturbed time with your loved one, I definitely recommend it!!!

Our stay at the Belamere Suites was great! We stayed for our Anniversary and it was better than expected. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We actually had a little treat that we weren't aware of, a lake that we could sit by. It was so romantic. The room was spacious, clean, and private. The only things I would change are having an in-room microwave and having a TV in the pool area. Other than that, it was perfect. Can't wait to go again!

Went for 5 year anniversary. Location was tucked back behind commercial buildings which was peaceful and felt secluded. Room was open and beautiful. Large open double shower with stone floor makes me want to build one in my own house. Jacuzzi was huge and so relaxing with the fireplace and mood lighting. Not sure the name of the front desk girl was but she was awesome and personable. Felt very welcomed and had a great night relaxing.

Our stay at Belamere Suites was amazing! The room was BEAUTIFUL, with a private pool AND a Jacuzzi tub. On top of that, the service and hospitality of the staff was out of this world! 24 hour concierge service, plus breakfast delivered to your suite? Sign me up! I have never experienced a stay as wonderful as I did at Belamere Suites. I would recommend this hotel time and again to anyone looking for an extraordinary experience! 10 out of 10 every time!

Have stayed here for a number of occasions. Anniversary, just a casual stay, etc. The staff are wonderful. The rooms are always clean when we arrive. The only complaint I would say is that the Jacuzzi jets are not the strongest. Otherwise, Belamere is a great place for a romantic getaway!

This place is absolutely amazing. The suites are so nice and spotless with the options of an in room pool! The beds are so comfortable. Every room has a jacuzzi and a personal garage. The costumer service is absolutely amazing. The staff is the best. They make sure you have all you need. Best getaway ever!

Tons of great restaurants nearby and a crazy amount of privacy to spend time with the people you love. This place has awesome pools, awesome service and the private garage makes everything so much better. They didn't make the bed on day 2 but they did tidy the pool/bathroom and replaced robes towels. This is a place my husband and I will use to get away often.

This is one of the most romantic hotels around! You drive back a very long drive past trucking companies and there it is. You are greeted, given your keys and directions to your suite. Each has a garage. We had the royal suite which had a private pool, jacuzzi, fireplace, huge, huge shower and extra high king size bed. They have all kinds of extras you can get from snacks to massages. Then in the morning you let them know what time you would like breakfast brought to you. This was our second stay and we'll be back for years to come!

We stayed in the Royal pool suite. There is a 4 foot deep pool as well as jacuzzi tub. The cost was fairly high, but worth it for a single night. They try to really upsell you on different services and amenities such as early check-in and late check out. The milk and cookies package was a bit pricey, but the freshly baked cookies were very good.

Belamere Suites is the perfect destination for a relaxing getaway. The suite was very clean and well appointed. The staff was very courteous and helpful. Extremely satisfied with our stay.

The reason I don't give this a 5 star is due to the strange location and the weak breakfast. The place is nestled in the back of an industrial allotment, seems strange and doesn't contribute to the romance of the place.
Regarding breakfast: you get coffee, orange juice, a large muffin and a danish. I would love to have a hot breakfast delivered!

Nestled away in the most surprising of places, Belamere was truly a wonderful destination. The staff was extremely attentive. All services were available around the clock and just a phone call away. The private pool was magnificent, the jacuzzi very well sized, and the bed very comfortable. If you're a couple looking for a quiet, secluded destination for some away time this is definitely a place to visit. We will be visiting again.

This is a beautiful retreat from reality. Just an hour away from Detroit. On a small pond. Small bridge and trail with a patio set. 24hr concierge is so convenient. The 24hr coffee was a life saver as I'm a night coffee drinker.

My wife and I had a wonderful romantic night at the Belamere suites. Booking, check in and check out were all simple and quick. The staff were very friendly, but the room is what will keep you coming back. We had a Jacuzzi suite. The hot tub was incredible, and there was a gorgeous walk in shower. The room was spotless, and the bed was supper comfortable. Finally it was all rounded off with a nice breakfast basket delivered in the morning with fresh, warm muffins. I would greatly recommend this place to any couple looking four a nice quite night together.

Love, love, love it there! Staff is warm and friendly & rooms are very romantic, private, and spacious. You hear no noise from neighbors. My boyfriend and I have been there yearly. We go every year for our anniversary. Although we live in Ohio it's honestly like getting away to a romantic island all to ourselves!!

The suites are located in an industrial parkway off the freeway. We went for a couples getaway to celebrate a birthday. We had no disappointments. Staff was friendly and accomodating. Rooms include private pools, hot tubs and a shower for two.

I reserved a room at the Belamere Suites for my girlfriend's birthday, and it was a great decision. The staff was awesome. We showed up a little before check-in, but they let us go to our room early. The room itself was amazing. I reserved one of the jacuzzi suites for our first stay, but there were other options that included an in-room pool and other amenities. The staff was available around the clock, and even picked up and microwaved and brought back some leftovers at 1 in the morning. The biggest draw, though, is that it's couples only... no kids allowed! It's a little pricey, but the peace and privacy, and the personal care of the staff, definitely makes it worth it. We will definitively be going back.

Customer service is fabulous. Room is private and a great getaway for any couple. The in-room pool and huge tub guarantees a great time. Totally recommend!

Trip Advisor has this ranked at #1 most romantic hotel in the US for a reason. The grounds are unassuming from the outside as the hotel itself is located in a more industrial part of Perrysburg, but the welcome desk and rooms are classy. Check in was a breeze and the welcome clerk was helpful and friendly. My wife and I brought take out but forgot plates and silverware. We called the front desk and they delivered everything to us in 5 minutes! Their hospitality is excellent! The rooms. You get your own private pool, jacuzzi, sauna and fireplace. What was the last hotel that offered you one of those amenities let alone all of them? We loved it and will be back!

We just got home from a 2 night stay at this absolutely romantic hotel! We enjoyed every moment of our time here. Staff was friendly and so helpful, rooms were clean and beautifully decorated. We stayed in the jacuzzi suite and it was so relaxing. They gave us a tour of the pool suite when we checked out and that's where we will be staying next time! My husband had a little trouble adjusting to the no windows issue but once he settled into it we had a wonderful time. It made for an almost surreal experience because it was as if the rest of the world didn't exist while you were there. We will be back next year for sure!

Our room definitely lived up to the hype. Very clean and every romantic amenity you could want. The pool was the cherry on top. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were the best ever. Wonderful staff ready to assist with your every need.

The rooms were clean and absolutely massive. Not "fancy" if that is what you are looking for but comfortable. The pool seemed clean and well maintained and was the perfect temperature. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Our stay was nice. We had the presidential suite. Very nice. The only thing that was a slight problem and we will remember for next time is to get a room with everything on one floor. Going up and down the stairs to the pool was not intimate to me. But it was nice. Staff was friendly. And some nice restaurant nearby. Will be visiting again!

Belamere Suites is a romantic getaway that is not to faraway from home. All the workers are very nice and accommodating. It is very clean and well maintained. We can't wait to go back again.

This was an amazing place and well worth the money. Only thing I would suggest( and kind of expected) was maybe a complimentary bottle of wine and a better breakfast. For as much as it cost, you would think it would be a lot better.

Exceded all expectations. Room was very clean. The staff were all terrific. Everything felt very private. We will definitely return. This is a perfect destination for anniversaries, birthdays, etc. We were more relaxed than any hotel stay in memory. Location is a bit odd, but the hotel grounds felt safe and secure.

Our experience here was great, we really enjoyed the amenities of the room including the private pool and the jacuzzi tub. We had room 115, the presidential pool suite. Everything was clean and in good order. In order to increase my rating to a 5, they would need to improve the breakfast offering, improve the quality of coffee, put coffee in the room rather than by request. And the lighting in the bedroom is off somehow. Since there are no windows, you need a good bit of light, and it just seemed too dim to me. Overall a great place to stay for a splurge! Loved the pool.

Family run, clean, friendly quiet place to stay. Close to the action, right at the beach, huge park between hotels & beautiful views both day and night. This is our 3rd time staying there and we have NEVER had an issue, they know how to treat their guest.

What a great stay! Such a romantic room with a fireplace and hot tub. We had a late checkout and warm muffins an coffee were delivered to our door at the time of our choosing. We will definitely be back!

We went on December 2nd 2016, I adored the room. The receptionist was great. She ran my card and it was having issues so she gave me the candles and roses(a $31 value) on the house.....The bed was so comfy, the fireplace was amazing and the walk in shower and Jacuzzi tub hit the spot. We will be going back for sure. Exceeded our expectations.

A great surprise birthday experience! So neat to have our own pool, jacuzzi, sauna, huge shower, and a garage for car. Location is a bit strange (in like a commercial area), but very close to amenities and very private.

This hotel was great. I love the double shower very romantic.the hot tub was awesome as well. It was big enough for two people comfortably. The pool was just the right size and very warm.

My wife and I had a wonderful romantic evening at the the Belamere Suites. Our check in was quick and easy, and the staff was very friendly. The room was spotlessly clean. We had a two person jacuzzi in our room which was a favorite of my wife. We also had a wonderful basket of fresh muffins and fruit in the morning.

Private in door pool was awesome. Warm and different colors of light in the pool. Double headed shower was incredible for my boyfriend and I because we like different temperature of water. Jacuzzi tub was so relaxing. We want one at home now. The bed was so soft I never wanted to leave.

The only thing I wasn't crazy about was that our room had no windows, so there wasn't any light in the morning. Other than that, fantastic experience. Definitely recommend.

Very romantic 25th anniversary getaway in the presidential suite. We'd do it again. Everything was perfect & the people who work there were very helpful and friendly.

My wife and I stayed at Belamere Suites for two nights in one of the jacuzzi suites. Check-in was a breeze and the receptionist was very helpful with finding a place to dine later. Each suite comes with it own private single car garage to park. The king size bed was very comfortable though it was a little tall for my shorter wife. As soon as we unpacked we got into the very spacious jacuzzi that easily fit both of us. There was also a three sided fireplace and a television viewable from any where in the suite. The walk-in two person showers were lovely.There was a romantic and elegant feel to the place. Room service promptly brought breakfast when we called each morning. Levis Commons was nearby so we went there for dinner and shopping. Over all our stay was wonderful and we can't wait to go back.

Belamere Suits seems to have an unfair reputation locally. It's tucked way, way back off the main road, the rooms have no windows, rooms have a private/concealed garage, etc. A barber once referred to it as a place where senators take their mistresses. A previous co-worker balked at my mention that this is where I'd be taking my girlfriend for her birthday, going on to explain that there are just certain "implications" about Belamere that aren't the kind of thing you want to mention. But upon actually staying at Belamere Suites, well all that seems pretty silly.

Our stay here was a very positive experience. I will say the staff treated me with a sort of "John Doe" anonymity that I imagine is common during drug deals, quickly giving me the room key and instructions and ushering me along as if to assure me they'd already forgotten who I was and that they would firmly deny any accusations of having dealt with anyone by my name. The only things missing were a hushed voice and a wink. But then again, that was probably all in my imagination because of what I'd been told.

Otherwise the convenience of an attached, private garage was really great. It was winter at the time, so it was a nice luxury to avoid everything icing over as it so often does around here. The room itself was gigantic and cozy with a large fireplace, TV, hot tub, walk-in shower, etc. The staff brought some breakfast items and coffee the next morning, all of which were better than I would have expected.

Highly recommended if you're looking for a luxurious, private getaway.
