Beautiful hotel located right in the center of Berlin. The price that we paid for a room with a king size bed and kitchenette was phenomenal. When we walked in we couldn't believe how large the room was. A lot of outdoor sitting areas were located all around the perimeter of the building. This was perfect for just hanging out and relaxing when we weren't spending time in the pool and hot tub. And the cookies served at the front sldesk were amazing. A chocolate cookie with white chocolate chips. It was a wonderful experience and my wife and me hope to go back in the near future.

We enjoyed a restful, quiet "time away" at Berlin Grande. The room was immaculate, comfortable bed, and beautiful scenery from the deck outside the room.
All of the staff was friendly, accommodating, and made us feel welcome.
The breakfast area had a good layout, and the food was some of the best we've had in that type setting.
WE PLAN TO RETURN FOR ANOTHER VISIT SOON!!

WOW. This place is really nice. Breakfast was definitely better than the run of the mill continental breakfast. Our room was HUGE! Decorated so nice too. Really cool walk in shower... Only thing I didn't like was the lack of a dim lamp or light by the bed. The lights above the bed are REALLY bright! But still, that didn't ruin my stay in the least. I will definitely stay here again if I have a chance! 😍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Berlin Grande Hotel was a wonderful place to stay! The staff was friendly, efficient and they went above and beyond their duties. Breakfast was delicious and they served delicious cookies at the front desk as they welcome you. Hotel was immaculate. Close to shopping and Amish restaurants.

Very nice hotel. Went with wife and kids, so we spent most of our time in the pool area. It is very nice, but a little bit small. There was only one table and a few chairs, so if anyone else is there you have no place to put your stuff. Other than that it is very nice. Enjoyed the hot tub as well. Breakfast was good. Bacon, eggs, potatoes, waffles as well as fruits, pastries and bagels. Overall we had a great time and I would recommend staying here.

I was here in December. They had blowers out clearing all the snow off the cars.
The rooms are as nice as the website make them out to be. And the staff was very nice.

This hotel is perfect. Great location, friendly staff, extremely clean and comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful. It snowed the first night we were there and an employee used the snow blower to clean off every single car! Can't say enough great things about this hotel!

You will enjoy your stay here. Staff is friendly and the breakfast is good enough that you don't have to look for a restaurant in the morning. This is an all around 5 star for an Amish country stay!

Great! Room was spacious, comfortable & very clean. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed scrambled eggs, bacon, Belgium waffles, fresh fruit coffee & juice but there were a number of other choices. Staff was friendly & helpful. Would definitely go back & recommend to others.

It is a clean, modern hotel with many amenities including indoor pool and exercise room. Breakfast is free and the offerings each day were really good. Parking is free and easy. Free cable TV was nice, too. No password for WiFi, free access.

The hotel is beautiful, with great views of the surrounding countryside. If you're visiting the area, this is a solid choice if you're looking for a hotel. The rooms tend to book quickly, so you'll probably need to plan ahead

The rooms are excellent and very well maintained. The service has been caring and involved. We stayed for four nights and we were treated as special quests. Looks like there are many improvements coming. Extra rooms and extra services. Highly recommend Berlin Grande Hotel for a base in Amish country.

I'm traveling for work as usual. I stay in hotels all the time. I don't write reviews very often, but I need to say something...
Very friendly staff. Very clean rooms. Everything is in order and they paid attention to the details. Great water pressure in the shower. I was able to wash my clothes in two brand-new washing machines simultaneously FREE!
Incidently, I just stayed at a $135.00 Holiday inn Express and housekeeping only serviced my room two out of the four nights I stayed.

This hotel has exceeded my expectations and "knocked it outta the park".
I recommend it HIGHLY.

This is the kind of hotel experience you want every time! The bed is comfortable, the staff is very accommodating, and it also has meeting rooms for events. The only thing that was less than impressive was their "business center" which wasn't even a room but rather a small open space near the stairs on the second floor with one computer and phone.

Nice hotel. We were there for a marriage retreat with our church. Nice quite place for the most part. Breakfast options were good (especially the sweet rolls). A little noisy at times, but not too bad. Within a block,or so of downtown Berlin which is where everyone wants to be. Therefore, if you can get around without to much problem I suggest just walking into downtown.

The staff, the room, the pool, and the breakfast was all amazing! I would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone.
My boyfriend and I stayed in the standard king and the room was very spacious and clean! Then the salt water pool and hot tub was very nice and relaxing.
My boyfriend and I left here with absolutely no complaints. We will definitely be staying again.

Our stay at Residence Inn has been amazing so far. The hotel seems renovated and very clean - not only the lobby but also the rooms. Our housekeeper, Latosha, did a great job making sure it stayed that way (not to mention how friendly and positive she has been throughout our stay!). Very comfy beds. The complementary breakfast was excellent...

This was the 3rd year that a group of friends (scrapbooker's) and I go there for the weekend and it never fails, they are wonderful. The hotel is clean, modern, and the beds are extremely comfortable! The breakfast in the morning is perfect, especially the cinnamon rolls. Mostly though, Doug the manager is very good at what he does and takes very good care of all of us.
We'll go back every year.

Stayed here with two dogs and absolutely loved having a private door that opens right out without even needing to go through the lobby. Could even let them go out to go potty in the middle of the night without fully waking up like at home! And there's a big meadow right out back where they had an amazing time running around and burning off energy. Easiest stay with dogs I've ever had by far!

Although a bit pricy, the rooms are large and we'll furnished. Ours had a king size bed and was pretty comfy. Or room was probably the cleanest motel room I've ever stayed in. Super clean. Continental breakfast was good with a good selection. Manager came around at breakfast talking to people, asking how they were doing. I've never had that happen before.

I was disappointed by several things:
On the website, it shows 2 robes in the room. I showed my wife this when I was booking, and she was looking forward to it, and didn't pack hers.
The view was a joke. I could see the rooms on the other side of the courtyard, but I had to lean way out to see the countryside... and I have a fear of heights, so that wasn't comfortable for me, so I really didn't go out there, even though that was one of the reasons we stayed at this hotel.
The noise... wow. Was the hotel constructed with 'echo wood'? The weird thing was, when I heard the booming foot steps, there was no one in the hallway - it must have been the hallway upstairs! This alone will keep me from ever staying at this hotel again.
The pictures on the website also show (under rooms and amenities) 2 love seats in front of a fireplace. I honestly thought that was a room photo, since this picture wasn't listed under lobby photos. I was looking forward to sitting there with my wife (we were there for our 22nd anniversary, by the way) and enjoying the fireplace... in reality, our room had a broken fireplace (only about 1/3 of it lit up, making it look pathetic, I turned it off and left it off) which was about 15 feet away from the couch... so even if it was working what was I going to do, pull up a couple of stools from the kitchenette? Poor layout.
The TV, which is above the fireplace, is not directly in front of the couch, it's almost in front of the right seat in the couch, so TV watching was awkward, and a little too far away.
It also seemed like there was a light missing... something in the ceiling in the middle of the main area would have been nice. It never seemed to be bright enough... add that to the fact that the main area didn't have a window, and you just don't feel like you want to hang out there.
The light in the bedroom has 2 fluorescent bulbs (the long kind) one on top, and one on the bottom... you can have both on or neither, so there was no good way for one person to sleep while the other read in bed. It was also way too bright to watch TV.
The toilet was a little dirty when we got there, and there were some gross looking stains on the rug... there is no polite way to describe what they looked like to us.
The power outlet next to the coffee maker didn't work. (a sign would have been nice!) I put the coffee in, poured in the water, and pushed the button... nothing happened, so I tried pushing it again, thought maybe the cup had to be more firmly seated, so I messed with that... finally unplugged it, and plugged it in by the microwave, and hit the button - it lit right up. Not fun after a night of not sleeping.
The bed was comfortable, but since our room was next to the ice machine, (the room the ice machine and pop machine was in is technically part of our room - 2 of its walls are common walls to our room) and about 10 feet from where I was trying to sleep, sometimes it would make a strange wet sound like it was draining or something? That with the amplified foot steps from above, it made it very difficult for me to sleep.
It was still cool weather, so my wife was a little cold in the bed, since it only had a thin blanket and a sheet. For the second night, we found a blanket in a bag in the closet (it was apparently for the fold out couch) which made her comfortable.
For the price (over $350 for the weekend!) this gorgeous from the outside hotel just doesn't match the price.
I usually stay at the Berlin Hotel & Suites (a few minutes down the road.) but wanted to check out this new hotel... I found myself wishing the entire weekend that I hadn't.
