Along highway 55 in Apex. Very nice office staff and the room was clean. They could use a bit more parking though.

It's what you'd expect and more from a candlewood. Location was great for my work nearby. Price was cheaper than anything near but rooms were clean and staff was nice.

Awesome place. Yes, it's a hotel but all the amenities made it feel like a small version of home. Even the towels were supurb! A full set of dishes, dining wear, dishwasher, full size refrigerator, microwave, range burners, pots and pans, and everything was in great condition and well kept. The night and morning desk associates were very friendly and helpful.

I delivered a pizza here but Google is paying me credit to review it. I'm sure it's a nice place. You can get pizza delivered there.

We stayed here for a week before deciding to move to the area. I was here for an interview and brought the family to see if they'd like it enough to move. The staff was really nice and the hotel rooms were very clean. My only complaint is the noise from the other guests, but that was probably a special occurrence since they seemed to be a bit on the wild side. We love Apex.

Overall a great hotel and value for the money. Rooms are smaller than the Hampton, but they are clean, offer a bigger fridge, and a stove.

Great hotel. I didn't realize this chain had rooms with a full kitchen with dishes and utensils for extended stay. The 4th floor is half smoking, but it's only noticeable in the hallway, so no big deal.

The hotel has been updated but it has a small micro, instead of a full size one and it's not in the greatest area. The area has a lot of closed businesses.

Clean rooms, spacious bathrooms, lots of fluffy towels, and reasonably fast WiFi and wired internet (up to 5 MB/sec if you brought your own cable). Surprisingly good fitness room and even an indoor pool. No free breakfast, but small convenience store is well stocked; prices are similar to what you'd see in a gas station. Not the cheapest, but worth the extra expense, especially if you are staying long enough to make use of the full sized fridge and kitchenette.

What an awesome experience, and a pleasant surprise!

I often stay at IHG properties, but this was my first stay at a Candlewood Suites. They are right next to a Holiday Inn Express, but their fitness center looked a bit better from the images so i decided to give them a try. So glad i did!

The rooms are studio suites, clean, tidy, and with a fully equipped kitchen and a nice open layout. The gym was nice, most likely to cater to the longer-term stays. Laundry facility was free, and the pantry was very well stocked.

This was very comfortable stay, and definitely had a more intimate feel. The books, movies, appliances and games available to take to the room are a great bonus.

Awesome experience!

Convenient location of main road and Hwy 1. Everything was clean and seemed new. Rooms had full fridge, double burner cooktop, dishwasher, and garbage disposal. Our door was so tight that my wife could barely open it. When you did open it, it made a loud metal scrapping sound. The next morning we went down to switch rooms. We have a baby that would be impossible for one of us to leave the room without waking him.
So they said " No problem come down in a few hours". We did, them they said" the rooms not ready yet. We're not sure if we can do it before 3". We left and came back at 2. Then they weren't sure if they could do it cause the cleaning crew was leaving, but they'd check. Which was nice since we were only ready since 8 am!

So we got our new room and the door didn't scrape. Nice enough place with under qualified staff.

Had a great time despite one of the employees barging in on my wife and I on our first night at the hotel even though my wife put 2 "DO NOT DISTURB" signs right in the middle of the door for the employees to see. Overall our experience was great. Nice, quiet, relaxing weekend getaway to kick up our feet and Relax !

Convenient location, clean rooms, friendly staff. The non-smoking room seemed to have a little smoking odor, but most hotels that have smoking floors are like that. No beer or wine available in the lobby, but there's a convenience store/McDonald's combination very close by. Would stay here again.

I was looking for two nights lodging in the area and decided on Candlewood because the rooms feature a full kitchen and I like that. I can bring awesome takeout instead of rolling the dice on whatever fast food is nearby. I prefer hotels like this and have stayed with several competitors including Marriott Residence Inn and Extended Stay America. My expectations were that Candlewood would have something of a beat-up, roughed-up look and feel and a slightly beat-up, roughed-up looking clientele since that’s been my experience elsewhere (Marriott to a much lesser extent than ETA). It didn’t help that a Google reviewer had conjured up visions of drug deals and fist fights in the parking lot, but there was a lot about that review that stood out as flaky so I decided to try this place anyway. Turns out that review was indeed all flake, no fact.

To my surprise, the hotel was nicer in every way than hotels I’ve stayed at that charge two or three times as much. My room was spotless, as were all the public areas I saw. Check in/out was a breeze, with friendly and helpful staff. The furniture, fixtures, appliances, even the flooring in my room looked sharp. The bed was comfy and overloaded with a kazillion pillows as is the fashion now. HVAC was unobtrusive and worked perfectly.

The bathroom had nicer cabinetry and appointments than I’d expect in this price range, including the elusive prize: decent towels! Relatively big, thick, absorbent, all cotton towels that actually dry you. Nearly instant hot water and plenty of it. The shower head was a little too “waterfall” for my taste (I like more force) but hardly worth mentioning.

I used the fridge and the microwave and a few dishes in the kitchen during my stay. All were clean and in excellent repair. Wireless Internet was fast to connect, very responsive and very reliable. I hate it when hotels say “available” and mean “extra $” and that’s not the case here. It’s included.
I kept trying to find something to find fault with but failed. If you’re considering other hotels with these amenities in the area you need to look at this place. If you really want a “free” breakfast buffet this won’t work for you but otherwise this is a great place at a reasonable price. Check rates a couple of days before you check in - they may have dropped if you originally booked a few weeks ahead.

Either way, better than expected quality at a cheaper than expected price. Book before they figure this out :-)

This is a new building and the rooms are clean --the staff is very nice,BUT it is slowly become a place to stay away from, Fighting in the parking lot- drug use in the parking lot- people breking into cars, people hanging all around the building acting horribly and you can't go outside without being bombarded by cigarrette smoke everywhere, ya cant use the BBQ area because people sit their and smoke so unless you wantto get cancer from second hand smoke or smell like smoke you have to stay in your room. The fire alarm goes off at least once a week sometimes very late at night or early in the morning and most people don't even leave the room anymore ( so what if it's a real fire and they don't realize it) this establishments has to make some changes if they want to stay in the category of ''decent'' ....
