Great stay so far! We recommend Candlewood for an extended stay, if you are between residences.

They are currently renovating this location, so I was worried but ... This place was very nice. There was no noisy contruction either. Nicely decorated rooms with a full kitchen! Staff was helpful and friendly. Located across the street from Health park hospital.

This hotel is old. The matresses are old and you can feel it. The walls are dirty. You can tell th staff is trying to keep it clean but it needs a huge renovation. They have signs saying that they are renovating but I saw no signs of that. The pool is small but the kids liked it. It is in a very weird location and not well marked. Not close to the bathrooms for it. It does have gas grills for the gueats to use.

A hidden treasure in Ft Myers. If you need an extended stay and your a pet owner I highly recommend! The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. We love our hotel family!

Pretty good. Room/bathroom is big enough, comfortable place to work. 4* only because wifi didn't work and the sheets/pillow cases weren't exactly fresh. They don't have breakfast but do have coffee in the room and in the lobby. Parking is free. (Just a quick note: not exactly easy to find even with gps. Once you found Commerce Center Drive drive slowly towards the turnaround.)

Very pleased with everything. It was a perfect location. Laundry facilities were available. A shop was available for snacks or essentials forgotten at home. Complimentary coffee and teas were available all day. The manger Miguel and the entire staff was really nice. The room had all the necessities.

It was perfect on all levels. Great location. The unit had a full kitchen. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Miguel Arana was most accommodating along with his pleasant staff. I would definitely book again.

Nice staff, reasonably clean room with all the basics plus kitchenette. Did need to reauezt new room even though it is non-smoking hotel the 1st room smelled very bad of smoke when we returned from dinner. Switching rooms was no problem with front desk.

We love candelwood suits... They are personable, go above and beyond to make your stay a fantastic experience! Rooms are clean, they have kitchenettes in every room, FREE LAUNDRY, beds are cozy, the place is well maintained, and they treat you like family. I highly recommend this extended stay!!

The room was spacious and comfortable. I thought that the kitchenette area was larger than other hotels that I have stayed at. The guest lounge area was comfortable and inviting. I like that there was free coffee available 24/7 as well as free laundry. Two of the dryers were not working, so I needed to wait to dry my clothes. The workout room was nice. However the free weights went from 5 pounds to 25 pounds. They could use some weights in between that range. The temperature of the room tended to get too warm at night unless we turned it all the way down to 62 degrees. The pool does not get much sun, but the pool area was nice. I would recommend others stay here! The distance to the beach is great, especially for the price. The staff was all super friendly and helpful. Bonnie was wonderful!

Stayed in a room with 2 double beds, and it was very clean and spacious. The kitchenette in the room was well equipped, and it was nice to find the refrigerator had a built in ice maker. The shared living spaces were well maintained, and all the guests I encountered were well mannered and respectful. Very impressed with the gym and free laundry in this facility. I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed here for a couple months. The service here is wonderful. The property and rooms are nice and clean and great location.

Right now there are lots of families here that fema is helping. I have been here about 2 months so far and the staff have been wonderful and very accommodating. The rooms have full size refrigerators, big microwave, two burner stove and a dishwasher. Great place to stay long term, or even short term if you don't want to eat out every night.

Fairly average. The rooms were a good size and pretty clean. The bed was to soft for my taste. Common areas need to be renovated.

LOVE THE HOTEL AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE! My room was wonderful. The only low point was having to fight through the disgusting smell of cigarette smoke in a NON-SMOKING HOTEL.

We stayed two nights. Staff is very friendly. Quiet location. Our room was very clean. This is an extended stay location so there is no daily maid service. That wasn't a problem since you can swap out your used towels or use their laundry facilities.

They were very accommodating with me and my pets during hurricane Irma. They waived pet fees during this stressful time. I love this place and their employees!! We will send all our out of towns guests here from work.

Stayed here twice. Rooms are immaculate and the front desk staff is very responsive. They actually called the room to make sure everything is fine. The price is great! Candlewood isn't a good place to stay for the price. It's just good period.

Nice hotel!! We checked in late and Cam at the front desk was very friendly. The room was clean and spacious. The bed was so comfortable!!! I have nothing bad to say about this hotel.

Located centrally to most other resorts Candlewood Suites accommodated me as I was attending a wedding in a super expensive resort on the beach that was 225$ a night. They are about a 10 minute drive to the beach and very close to restaurants, bars, and many small shopping malls to find whatever your want or need. Now The rooms from my understanding allowed pets on the first 2 floors with a deposit (usually just charged on the credit card used to book the room). They also had a wide variety of rooms that could fit small to large groups. Every room has a Kitchenette with dishwasher included and for the price you really can't find anywhere better. I also must say the staff is very nice and helpful. They will even let your borrow a movie or board game for those late nights. In all I would stay again as the hotel is clean, comfortable, and has a kitchen in your room! Alsofree Wifi is available and given to you with your room key! I paid 79$ with Florida Resident Discount. May 19th

Very clean. Comfortable bed. Lots of towels, washcloths. You can cook a meal at these places.

The bed was small for two people plus a baby. Customer service was quick and great. The rooms were clean and cozy.

The Candlewood Suites here is a nice, affordable option if you want to visit Sanibel. It's about 5-10 minutes from the bridge/causeway and has everything you need in terms of a home base. When we booked, it cost about 1/3 of what it would have cost to actually stay on the island. The accommodations are nice. The staff is friendly.

I had to cancel my reservation and when I initially called I was given the run around. However, I called back and spoke with Tony who was absolutely fabulous and was patient with me. I appreciated the time and care he took to assist me.

Clean room with all facilities working as described. Good, reliable wifi with Ethernet connections available too. Only downside is that it costs a bit more and is an "extended stay", so no free breakfast.

Very nice accommodations for the money. We were traveling to Sanibel and ended up stopping here for the night. We had a struggle finding a hotel with availability and found this one online. Although it is an extended stay (not offering many extras that hotel chains would offer, such as continental breakfast, etc.), the room was extremely comfortable and clean. We enjoyed our stay and will be looking up candlewood suites accommodations in our future travels.

Hotel was fine. Spacious room that was well maintained. The pond view was scenic and one of the alligator residents was sunning himself that afternoon. The front desk staff was cheery and eager to help. One small ding was the parking lot. There are plenty of spaces but the layout made it feel narrow to maneuver in.

Clean quiet hotel with a friendly staff. Tucked away in the perfectly secluded location with easy access to the main road. I will definitely be back!

Thank you for the great service and making us feel at home. Such an amazing place to stay. My boys have been happy the whole time here. We love all the wild life in the pond out our window. Gators and turltles are out in the pond everyday. Couldnt of picked a better spot:)

The Candlewood Suites were fantastic host. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with any request. We had to continue extending our stay because of certain circumstances, and it was never a problem. The free laundry was much needed and pool was perfect to keep my 5 year old entertained for hours. With what this hotel cost, it is by far a wow experience.

The service was excellent!! Very attentive staff. Clean facility. Very pet friendly with a designated dog walk area and P.A.W (Pets Are Welcome) signs posted throughout the building. Laundry room with free appliance use that is connected to the gym so you can workout while waiting for you clothes to wash/dry. Free wifi and access to 2 grilles next to the pool area. I stayed here for 2wks while on a work assignment and would definitely recommend this extended stay for any travel needs.

Great place quiet and clean free wash and dry it's a extended stay so there's only room service once a week no complimentary breakfast I guess because you can cook your on food in your suite overall it's a good place to stay secluded area , I would definitely stay here again

Great price for the area. Hotel is located in a commercial Park of sorts but is very close to the beaches and local attractions and stores. Staff was friendly. Room was clean and the pots, pans, plates, etc with the room were all clean and like new. Has nice full size fridge and small stove with microwave. Pool area is nice and clean as well. Has a game / DVD lending library which is handy. Very pleased.

Ive stayed here many times, never had any issues with it. Its mostly quiet, polite staff, and plenty of anemities including a kitchen, pool, appliances to borrow (blenders), and free laundry and weight room.

All in all a great place to stay, and very much worth every cent and more. I recommend this place to anyone I know that comes through this area.

It has pool kitchen it is amazing I will always stay in this hotel it is the best it has big bathroom and kitchen and bed 4 people could fit in there bed and has a walk in closet it is huge and you could buy some of there candy tooth brush toothpaste and food in main office and in hotel it has a jumbo TV in a room also in main office and you could get movies from main office and you could whatch it in room DVD player kitchen stuff comes to like plates nives spoon fork coffee maker shampoo and conditinor in bath room

An amazing hotel everyone was very sweet everything was awesome one thing I didn't like in particular is that someone had the audacity to touch our personal undergarment laundry and throw it to the side

Just spent an awesome week at this hotel, and I cannot say enough good things about it! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful! Our suite was fully equipped with all of the comforts of home, and we were able to make good use of the heated pool and the free laundry facilities! The price was amazing, the room clean and comfortable! I even love the fact that there was no maid service during our stay because I appreciate the ability to keep up with my own room. This was our second stay here in the last 4 years, and if I have the opportunity, I would gladly pick this hotel for our next visit! Thanks to you all for your part in making our vacation amazing!

I am very Pleased with all the updates and New Staff. I am glad to report that The New Management Alex, & Daniel are on top of things! The staff Linda, John, Tony, LaShaunda Are so Friendly and Helpful and make for a pleasant day every time I see them. The Housekeeper Fina is also very sweet and does an amazing job. This is a very Pleasant place to stay very welcoming and make you feel right at home.
