I'd say I was VERY impressed with the hotel overall. I spoke to a lady on the phone to see about checking in a little earlier she was VERY nice & made it happen so that right there set a tone for the stay. First impression of the room was wow. The room we stayed in had a full kitchen a full bath . Pots , pans , soap to wash dishes a coffee pot . We expected to have 4 guests & guess what - 4 towels , 4 rags . They were very attentive to our needs & making us comfortable. I was a little weary about what the hotel was going to be like in this area but I was not let down. I will say we came from a big ocean front hotel the night before that was almost double the price we paid for this one & on any given day I'd choose a candle wood suite. 5 stars to y'all !! Good customer service. They got me a room at a sister hotel because my room was a smoking room and my booking agent needed up my request for a nonsmoking room. It's also a pet friendly hotel. The hotel is planned for renovations so keep an eye out for that (you can call ahead to inquire). Until renovations are completed in a given room, the rooms are a bit tired. If you have a pet or are a smoker this hotel could be a great option for you, especially if you're on a budget. Prices are comparatively low for the area.

Would not recommend. I booked reservation for my parents four days. The fan didn't work in bathroom and they don't clean the rooms if you don't stay over seven days , you have take towels down to desk to receive clean ones never again. They don't even empty the trash in the room. Bad experience for my parents. All five star were booked. Next time we will wait. Y'all getting people hard earned money really seems like y'all could do better.thanks but no thanks.

Over 1 week into a month stay. Spire Elete member used to Full Holiday Inns and I'm impressed! Good sized rooms, almost full kitchens. Nice and clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful! The shuttle is free and very nice for people who are not familiar with the area! A+

The staff was professional and extremely helpful. The issues were the following: 1) It's a extended stay suite: why is there no love seat or couch in the room? 2) I registered the room for three people: we had one bath towel. Plenty of hand towels and wash clothes but only one bath towel. 3) Advertised as having DVD in room; no DVD player but front desk staff had one they let us use. Thank you! 4) Ironing board missing; once again the extremely helpful front desk staff found us a ironing board. Thank you! Based on front desk staff I'd stay here again. Based on room amenities alone I'd stay elsewhere.

Transportation is super efficient, rooms are well furnished, and prices are fair

This is just an average hotel that is showing her age. Nothing special, average at best. The area is not the best as well.

A good place to lay your head. The kitchen in every room makes a long term stay very reasonable and the rooms are clean and friendly. This is a chain I regularly use when I travel and one I would recommend to anyone doing the same. The prices are also reasonable for the rooms you get. I hope you enjoy your night here like I did.

Very clean and organized place. Gym has a few machines. Laundry room and detergent is free. The AC makes funny noises. Definitely a quality hotel that I would recommend to others.

Stayed there for 5 days clean rooms competitive rates friendly staff shuttle to the airport when you need it.

I gave it only three stars because my shower was luke-warm and friends in the same hotel stated they had no hot water. Perhaps a one-time issue but something to check when you first get in your room.

Rooms are comfortable, clean. Wired internet is very respectable (2.5mbs actual speed). No breakfast, typical of extended stay locations. Full kitchen minus oven, free coffee. No parking issues, lots of construction and traffic, but that's Norfolk. Convenience store and some restruants right down the street. Not too bad a stay.

Comfortable room with all amenities. Room would have been perfect if a separate sitting area was available. Staff were very helpful. We borrowed a couple of board games from the locker. Fun times!

I had a good stay here, the beds are smaller than usual , and friendly staffs.

This hotel was a bit off the main drag but was a great value. Room was clean with recently redone kitchenette and bathroom complete with granite. Bed was very comfortable. Room A/C had a tough time keeping up with the humidity of midsummer, so fabrics like the carpet and sheets were a bit sticky.

The staff at this hotel is absolutely wonderful. They greeted us on our way in and out. They made us feel they really cared about us and our dog. The manager Samantha was so extra kind to our dog (Fred) , and even gave me the names of dog parks in the area. I highly recommend you stay at this hotel if in Norfolk, Va.

The hotel staff is extremely friendly and will try to accommodate anything you ask (within reason). The rooms are well for she'd and quite comfortable. The kitchen is a nice addition since I will be staying for 2 months. However, there were some items missing from the kitchen that I needed​ to ask the front desk for that should have been in the room.

Stayed here for 2 weeks. Good staff and amenties with free Gymn and Laundry. Reasonably prices. We loved our stay.

Great hotel, only issue I had was being in a smoking room and no ash tray. Staff is amazing.

So far my stay has been great. The staff have been polite and helpful, and my room has been quiet and comfortable. There was a slight issue with the previous guest having left some food in the bend of the sink, leading to a foul smell in that area, but otherwise I have not had any problems.

Amazing service. Flexible employees who had to leave the front desk to come pick us up from the airport and bring us to the hotel safely. Made sure to ask us numerous times if we needed any thing. I'm a little picky and wished the rooms were and smelled a little cleaner but in this case the service overpowered that negative. Keep up the great work!

I went to visit a friend who was staying at the hotel while repairs were being made on her apartment.

Her room was cute - not really what i would call a suite but cute. The hotel itself looked nice.

The staff was really helpful, and the room was very clean.

It actually is a good hotel. The only problem was they gave me a smoking room and I have asthma. They did they best, I think, to change it but they were sold out.

2nd best hotel I've stayed at the room is a nice size nice room everything was clean it's quite and peaceful ppl at front desk are nice but the housekeepers be all in yo dam face

The hotel seems to take notice of details. They've got stone counter tops, and stone in the shower and for the bathroom floor. There's a stovetop and dishes and even a dishwasher. The only problem was the dogs barking early in the morning at the pet place close by.

First room smelled like smoke, so they moved us. Second room was fine, they even have board games and things for borrow at the front lobby. It was fun, until 9 am when they 'tested' the fire alarm without warning us first. Ignoring the couple issues, it was overall okay.

The room was nice and clean. The location was perfect, close to shopping centers and restaurants. The only issue was there being a transfer truck facility, not exactly sure ehat it was, right behind the building. So, around 2 a.m. I was woken from the power tools. I would stay again but request the front side of the facility.

Stayed here multiple times and the staff is always accomadating and courteous. Very nice rooms and appliances and very fair rates.

The room was very clean, I loved how everytime I stay, there is always nice clean linens and towels! All around good service.
