We loved our stay at Cedar Breaks Lodge. This is the second time we've stayed here and both times we had an excellent experience. The lodge itself is beautiful, and the staff friendly and helpful. We used the swimming pool and hot tub every evening, used the gas grills a couple of times and we made candles in the craft room. The lodge is in an excellent location to visit the National Parks and the ski area.

This is a time share condo with a small kitchen which includes dishes, utensils, pots and pans and dish soap as well as the usual hotel soap, shampoo and lotion. The king- sized beds are comfortable. The facilities include a gym and indoor pool, though we didn't use them on this trip. All bedrooms include a fireplace which supplements the heating system in the winter. It is close to the Navaho ski lift, which is probably possible to ski to from the rear of the property. The town has recently added a long walking trail (asphalt sidewalk) on the same side of the main road, starting at this property. It is up the bank from the road, safe and scenic.

An off-season resort stay is often a gamble, since services are sometimes limited. That said, we had a great stay. Comfy beds, plenty of linens, and great food at the restaurant. Close access to the ski resorts and Cedar Breaks National Monument we're a huge plus. Would definitely stay here again.

Cedar Breaks Lodge is a great place. It's located just minutes from Brian Head and about 10 min from the entrance of Cedar Breaks National Monument entrance. Great location in the summer for biking, hiking and sight seeing. The lodges rooms are nice and clean. The front desk is very helpful. We ate at the lodges diner and it was very good. The service was great and we ordered the Mediterranean pizza. Highly recommended. The swimming pool and 2 hot tubs are wonderful. They even have 2 saunas. It has an outside play set for kids, a volleyball pit and 2 BBQ's for all patrons use. The only complaint is we tried to call the front desk for a late check-in and had to wait on the phone e for about 8 min just to talk to Diamond Rental, not the front desk. Other than that I would recommend this for families and couple's a like.

Hotel is nice, just be aware that in the summer the rooms can be hot as they only have heat in the rooms. But its understandable being it is a winter ski resort.

The reason for the four star and not a five rating is for the restuarant on site.

When the waiter came up, he had a frown and appeared as he didn't have the time to give us. He neaver told us what the special of the day was...till we asked and as we asked questions about the items on the menu he would just reply with; "I'll give you more time to look at the menu." We knew what we wanted but wanted to change the type of cheese.

We got the burger and Chicken sandwich. The Chicken breast was huge (see photo). The chicken was a little dry and I can over look that. But trying to get it down I drank lots of water. But had to go up and refill twice myself after the waiter came to the table and seeing the empty glass on the edge of the table.

I have to say, seeing the other servers and hearing them talk with the customers you can tell they were good at what they do, we just so happen to get the waiter that needs to learn more from the others.

The location was beautiful. There was quite a bit of ATV traffic right outside of our room which wasn't too bad for us but if taking an afternoon nap I could see that being an issue. My wife also got sick from something she ate at the restaurant in the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. However we could hear lots of the foot traffic outside our door. Also no contenetial breakfast.

Very nice facility - nicer than the impression the pictures on their website created. Very spacious rooms (we were in the "Grand"). Kind and attentive staff. Mostly very clean but could use some attention to detail in that area. I'm 6'1" tall and agile but would like to have had a step stool to get in and out of the tub/shower - from the floor to the top of the tub is a two foot high stretch to get over! We were there in the mid-June and having no A/C in the rooms was only a little uncomfortable since the temps in the area don't get too high, and we managed it well by keeping windows open at night and using the ceiling fans and a box fan that was in one of the closets.

Great stay, friendly staff. Beautiful location. Rooms are spacious, and well priced, with good kitchenettes. The Mini fridge has a larger than normal freezer section that was great for refreezing ice packs and refreshing our cooler. Beautiful outdoor play area has a large playground, gas grills and a gas fire pit for s’mores. Be mindful that the rooms do not have a/c, and while it does get quite cold at night due to the elevation, it may be warmer than you would like during a summer stay.

Review for their restaurant only:
Best chicken pesto pasta I ever tried. Real separately grilled ingredients from the prepared pasta, and high end pesto.
Helpful but slow bartender.
Burgers and fries was ok. Old veggies on wings.
Nice ambient atmosphere.

TERRIBLE hospitality! We are here right now. My 2 young children and I are experiencing severe symptoms from lack of oxygen due to high altitude sickness. I called the front desk to ask if they have anything to help. The woman at the front desk just told me they have oxygen tanks for rent, but they are cash only! That is so sleazy, and they also have no ATM. My daughter is getting really bad, so I plead with the woman to charge my card, but she says they can't since they are selling them for the gift shop! She then told me I could call the EMT, and maybe he could administer oxygen, or take my daughter to the er, or we could leave in the middle of a thunderstorm in the middle of the night!!!

My daughter was also bit by a dog running around by the playground in front of the lodge, who apparently belongs to one of the employees of a near by facilities. Apparently the dogs are often running around the area.

Rooms are nice and big

What an absolute treat. We spent the weekend in this very comfy, roomy suite.

The attention to detail is incredible. They thought of everything. Galley kitchen includes coffee maker(bonus: free coffee) and a very generously sized fridge, 2 burner stove top, plates, flatware, and on and on.

Bathroom has a whirlpool tub and amazing showerhead, plenty of room to just relax and soak away your troubles.

The bedroom included a gas fireplace and a gorgeous view. My only regret is that i only spent the weekend there.. more time... next time.

My wife and I stayed at Cedar Breaks Lodge for 3 days while snowboarding last week. I was more than pleased with the room. The kitchen came with all pots, pans, plates and everything you would need for your stay. Jacuzzi tub was very nice. And having a fireplace in the bedroom with a great view was wonderful. The gift shop was closed on Sunday and Monday which was a bummer. But the dinner at the lodge was great and way exceeded my expectations. I live in Las Vegas so I do expect a lot from the places I Stay, Cedar Breaks Lodge exceeded what I thought was possible for the area and for the price. The snow was perfect as always by the way!

We were greeted to a fine villa with two bedrooms that has king size beds, a large TV with a DVD player, and a fireplace. Might I add that it has its own bathroom per bedroom. The kitchen is amazing and fully functional with all the cooking materials you need. The staff were awesome and it has a indoor pool, restaurant, gift shop, etc. It is very close to the chairlifts and it has a shuttle that will take you there.

My only complaint is that the shower takes a minute to figure out how to turn it on. A little bit of noise and no vending machines, but that is pretty much it.

I would definitely recommend this place and stay here if I come back up here. 4/5

Nice rooms. Great price. Friendly and helpful staff. Walking distance to Navajo lodge, 3 minute drive to Giant Steps. Restaurant on property, although they close fairly early. Also gift shop and cafe. Cafe is only open til half past noon.

The room my family selected was really good, full kitchen and two bedrooms. My only complaint would be that the bathroom with the shower only, the shower was pretty small. The other resources the resort had were very accommodating, the restruant, pools and spa were all great! Coffee from the shop was wonderful and the barista very kind.

My wife and I absolutely loved Cedar Breaks Lodge! This was a wonderful place to stay while visiting Brian Head. We had a full kitchen with a dishwasher, a bathtub with jets, all the TV's were huge!!! The rooms were super comfortable and we loved the fireplace. It was the perfect place to be indoors during a blizzard but still feel a part of Brian Head. This was one of our favorite vacation spots, there was plenty to do even during a blizzard when everything was shut down.

Some small things about the room were a bit ill maintained but overall very good. The hot tub and pool was fantastic after a long day. Very good location near the ski resorts. Parking is a bit difficult when driving a full size suv.

Not great. The location is good but that's about as good as it gets. Not much in the way of services here unless you go to cedar City which isn't that close. The resort itself is sub par. The pool closed most of the time because they were having issues getting chemicals right. Several messed up food orders. No hot water for shower. Room key didn't work after first day due to mistake at church in. Just allot of details that they can't seem to get right.

Cedar Breaks Lodge is my ideal hotel for snowboarding at Brian Head because of the great location. They also feature covered parking, a fantastic spa, and nice restaurant. There is a free shuttle that takes you to both Giant Steps and Navajo that runs roughly every 15 or 20 minutes. Extra bonus, there is a steam and dry sauna located in their spa. On top of that here's two large hot tubs and the spa doesn't close until 11pm.

The place isn't the most modern, however, it's clean, staff are really friendly and it is a great location to get away for a few days. I was disappointed that there were no vending machines and that barely anything was offered at their cafe for breakfast. Restaurant for dinner was ok, nothing to rave about. My advise is that, if you can, bring some groceri3s at least for your breakfast.

We stayed in a huge 2 bedroom unit with a full kitchen and living room with with 3 big screen TVs. And had fireplaces in both bedrooms.

They feature a good sized pool with 2 hot tubs, a steam room and a sauna.

Also they have a parking garage under the hotel which is great for the snow. And they have pipes on the garage ceiling that are mildly interesting.

What an amazing weekend my friend and I just experienced at your resort. I have traveled a lot through out the USA and I have to say the staff at this location is 5 STAR!!! The front desk staff were so friendly and helpful since this was our first time in Brian Head, UT. they took great care of us. The pool/hot tub with fireplace was awesome, we relaxed both evenings after our hikes. BUT our favorite part of this resort was Jackie in the gift shop/activity center, she is fantastic!!! She makes you feel like family, and like you are at home, the activities are great and so family friendly to everyone and the BINGO was the BEST time we have had in a long time. It is a must for anyone visiting on a Saturday night- you MUST DO BINGO WITH JACKIE!!!! Thank you for making our first experience in Brian Head a great time! We will always remember your resort and your amazing hospitality. P.S. Oh and your General Manager was an OK guy too... lol :) JK, he was great and so friendly as well!!!

The amenities are great and the pool and hot tubs were awesome for kids. Our room did not have any hot water the whole time so we bathed in lukewarm water. We're pretty tolerable but that bothered us.

Cedar Brooks Lodge was amazing! My wife and I only stayed one night, but it was easily the best hotel we stayed in on our 5 day road trip. It was incredibly quiet and peaceful. The best part came after we checked out, though. There is a domesticated deer named Thunder that you can pet! She was so beautiful and friendly. 5/5 for Cedar Brooks Lodge. We will definitely be staying there again next time we're in the area.

Regular rooms are spacious. Area around the hotel is gorgeous with famous national parks like Bryce Canyon only a few hours drive away. Fitness center is small, but has all the essentials and the equipment is well taken care of. Only downside is that it is in the middle of nowhere, up on a mountain so getting there is somewhat annoying. Avoid coming during monsoon season as mudslides could occur and close down one of the routes to the hotel (there are only 2, and the one that gets mudslides is the fastest from the 15).

Beautiful location, ok hotel. Clean room, no a/c but the windows and ceiling fans help. Shower head has build up so there is a crazy stream. Grand one bedroom is still small compared to other Diamond Resorts locations . Bummed about the construction noise during the day, but the staff is very nice.

It's pretty nice but food places are nonexistent after like 10, which sucks if you get in late and it's snowing and you're hungry. Pretty much all stores around here are closed too so definitely eat before arriving if you are getting in late. There is a lodge nearby with a super nice man who works at night that will sell you food from the gift shop. He is a hero.

One of the showers had very poor water pressure. There was no air conditioning (which isn't a deal breaker in that climate) but the ceiling fan was very noisy. Furniture was comfy, though, and I would probably go back.

I stayed here in the off-season with my whole family. The shower in one of the bathrooms was quite small, especially considering the overall large size of the bathroom. It got warm in the rooms because there's no A/C. Other than that, we were pleased with the rooms and amenities. They have bbq grills and a picnic area we were able to use. But the best part was we had left the kids' large pen set behind and I figured I'd just have to write it off. But a staff member made arrangements to take it to Salt Lake City and meet up with us!!

The room was great, but we arrived late due to a snowstorm and the hotel had no food to serve around 11pm. They didn't even have a vending machine. My girlfriend and I had to go to the next hotel over and they glady accomodated us by opening their gift shop so we could purchase food. The staff here isn't the friendliest. Plus they didn't even make us aware of the gameroom, dvd rentals, or most of the amenities. The price was alright, but I plan on staying somewhere else next time.

I stayed during the weekday in March. Great value. The amenities at the lodge are perfect. Sauna, steam room, two hot tubs, and a generous pool to soak in after playing on the slopes. Lodge shows a little wear and tear. My bathroom floor had a variety of hair upon arrival, but I buried the disdain and enjoyed my stay. The staff were all so friendly and helpful.

Love how this hotel is walking distance to the slopes and tubing! And having a sauna, pool, and two hot tubes in the main area to use is great after a long day. Very nice clean and specious suites. Great amenities like covered heated pool, jacuzi, fireplaces, steam room, sauna. Best location. Ski shuttle every 15mins. Lady at the gift shop super nice. Hotel is right off the 15 hwy, not even 10 minutes from Brian Head's ski lifts. Amazing service, great facilities, and beautiful scenery. Has gym, pool, sauna, coffee shop, and a great restaurant. Nice staff. Great hot tub and sauna situation. Even breakfast at the cafe was delicious. The coffee shop has the greatest barista who makes an amazing cappuccino. I just wish the elevator in building two wasn't so smelly. It would also be nice if their amenities (like gift shop and lounge) had longer hours.

Paper thin walls, loud plumbing, and the food is mediocre at best. But the snowboarding is great and you can walk to the slopes. This place will do if you can't find a nice condo with a full kitchen. I would come back.

Loved the rooms and amenities. They might want to check their doors inside of the rooms because they don't lock and are pushed open just by tapping on them. They also might want to redo their restaurant menu and prices. I had the $35 steak and it was no where near that quality. Other than those things I loved it and will most definitely stay there again.

It was okay. My wife says I am spoiled when it comes to places we have stayed, but we are platinum members with Diamond and I have a certain level of niceness when it comes to places we stay through diamond.

Although the room was nice enough, I just didn't feel it was 1100 points worth of nice, maybe 300, maybe. 1st off, I either screwed up or they did, but they gave us a room with two queens and it felt like a motel 8 than a nice getaway. Usually with diamond, we get a full living room and a separate bedroom, a nice kitchen and a nice bathroom. The room we were in had non of this. It was hot, no AC, and was a single room with a poor kitchenette, and I use that term loosely.

There was a tare in the bed spread and the door stopper was broken. The underground parking was really tight and I am glad we did not drive our truck. I don't think it would fit in the small spaces.

The restaurant was not open until 5 pm and so we had to go else where for food. We did bring our own food, but there was no way to cook it in our room. Diamond's rooms usually has a nice little kitchen them. I was not prepared. So we had to drive around for food. The only place open was temporarily closed due to their stove being broke down. So no breakfast for us.

Their pool looked nice, a little small, but nice, we did not swim and their work out center looked nice as well.

Where they are located is beautiful, and their water tastes really good. I wouldn't mind going there in the winter time to go ski.

The people were really nice and helpful.

So that is why I give them a 3 star. If they want it to be a 5 star, they are going to need to up their game, at least for me. I would recommend for anyone to stay there, go up during the day, the roads are very windy and lots of deer. Wife and I counted 43 on the drive up.

So ya, room was okay-sub part for a diamond resort, no place to eat, views were amazing and the people were top notch.

My husband and I loved this place! It is so close to many state and national parks (Zion, Bryce Canyon, Cedar Breaks, Red Canyon, Cascade Falls, Brian Head, to name a few.) The staff was friendly and accommodating; the spa, pool & saunas were clean and relaxing; the beds were marvelously comfortable; and the check-in & out process was very simple.

Stinking parking garage and elevator to the floors. So dirty hallways. Very noisy rooms on the side facing highway 143, needed window open for ventilation and the fans were very noisy. Staff very nice. Exercise room very good. Pools nice. Poor handicap accommodations.

Found a last minute 50% off deal on Expedia. What a pleasant surprise! The room was spacious, super clean, great comfy bed with freshly cleaned duvee and super plush pillows. The bathroom had a whirlpool tub and very nice soaps. I was surprised to have a mini kitchen complete with a fridge, microwave, sink, towels and paper towels, cutting board, utensils, cups and plates (and a great fancy coffee machine). Even had salt and pepper. The pool towels were the largest/softest pool towels in my experience. And a lovely view from our window - birch trees and the sky. The swimming pool area was very nice, decorated with many green plants. Loved the big windows and mountain views. Can't say enough about this hotel - hope to return when I am back to the area! I definitely didn't expect anything this nice for under $100. P.S. The staff was super nice and friendly!

Before my trip, as I read some of the reviews, I was a little nervous, hoping i wouldn't be too disappointed with the service. Now, after having taken the trip I realize the reviews were definitely outdated. My husband and I had an amazingly, comfortable and relaxing time. We went for a little bday weekend getaway, and were satisfyingly surprised at every turn. When we arrived at the lodge it was about 1pm, check in wasn't till 4pm but they were able to accommodate us with a room right then and there. As we get into our 1 bedroom villa, we were extremely pleased with the kitchen, living area, bathroom and bedroom accommodations. Shortly after settling in, we get a knock at the door from room service, they had a complimentary bottle of Sparkling Cider and Chocolate truffles in celebration of my birthday. We were very appreciative that they went out of their way to do that. After reading a review stating that you had to pay for internet, it was nice to find that they now offer free wifi throughout the lodge. We had dinner at the Bar and Grill and were not disappointed the food and drinks were really good (if you like mixed drinks i would highly recommend the Berry one). The jetted tub, fireplace and comfortable bed and linens did not disappoint either. My husband and I will definitely be back at least once a year. Thanks for the pleasant experience Cedar Breaks Faculty :)
