Overall a positive experience that started fairly rough when my wife and I were given keys to a room with two double beds instead of the king we reserved. The staff worked with us though and got us into the correct room eventually. We also visited the bar which was a good time. The bar tender was awesome.

This is an older Marriott hotel right along the Ohio river. The view on the riverside is very nice. You can see the entire downtown Cincinnati and several beautiful bridges. Come for the Labor Day firework, it’s one of the best place to see it with the crowd. The 10west restaurant is another must see. Outdoor seating give you one of the best views. The negative is the parking and there is no direct path to lobby. Most people are confused on how to check in after parking.

This was a very nice hotel to stay in. Beautiful and clean. Great staff, very friendly and helpful! The only downside for us was there was no hot tub and the pool was freezing, along with the pool shower. It was a maze to get to the pool (3 elevators later) and half the lights were not on. Wish we didnt have to pay for parking.

Very grateful for friendly staff to help make our elopement special! 💜 Be back at year #1

Hotel was very nice and clean. I stayed for one night and the room was well made up the water pressure was awesome and the travel size amenities were very good quality. I myself have worked in a hotel and felt everything was running smoothly.

Overall pleasant experience. Room was clean. Ordered room service and was good. Fries incredibly salty. Had views of Cincinnati. Parking is 10$ for self park. There is valet for more. Room itself is roomy.

Negatives: bathroom is tight. Can't open door and be in bathroom at same time. Some moldy areas in shower and some peeling wallpaper. Not a deal breaker however. TV is small for caliber of hotel.

It was a good stay considering we Pricelined under 100$. For that price it is a great deal.

I was here for a conference recently (ICMC). One of the classes I attended was in the Marriot. Beautiful hotel. Looks like it belongs in a time of the past with the masonry done. The elevators looked really cool. The one thing I didn't like we're the chairs in the conference room. They could recline, but would recline super easily. It made it hard to try to support proper posture. The chairs in the lobby were good though.

The hotel is located right next to the river and walking distance to Cincinnati. Very nice and comfortable. Top floors seem to be under construction so sleeping during the day is difficult. Other than that we loved the stay.

I loved the location of this hotel. The service was great and helpful. The lobby was beautiful. I didn't care for the extra parking fee and the rooms weren't as nice as what you would expect by looking at the lobby! The beds were doubles and very springy...meaning not comfortable. For as expensive as the room is, I would expect more. Everything else was perfect!

I was at the Marriott for my best friend's wedding. We were in the Madison II meeting room to have our hair and makeup done. We all had a great experience there & with the helpful Marriott employees.

Ambiance is very modern with a roman-esque feeling. Rooms are very nice, large and very accommodating. Bathrooms are nice. The showers feel a bit small and out of place. I like, would stay again.

The location is okay, connected to the convention center via a walkway. Hotel staff are friendly and efficient at check in. However, maintenance issues make my stay less than pleasant. Certain elevator does not open on level 5 and took and entire day for repair. Toilet seat wasn't secured well and blinds did. It close completely to block light from the city. The towels have seen better days and more appropriate for an economy hotel than an Marriott.

The Hotel has a very nice atmosphere when you first enter at lobby level.
The reception desk works very efficiently, accurate and fast.
Some rooms are well sized and in good condition.
Other rooms are dated, regular size and the HVAC could be out of order.
The bar is small but effective, never tried the restaurant due to low ratings.
I'm going to give this place another try in the near future, but I already dropped it to 3 stars.

Great experience. Visited this past weekend for the wife's birthday and after finding this out, they upgraded our room to one the top floor with a spectacular view of Cincinnati. The staff were excellent, everything was nice and clean, breakfast at 10 west was on point. Over all, a fantastic stay.

I had one of the best experiences of my life at Marriott. First it's a great hotel, the staff was very friendly and the breakfast was great! Room was very comfortable and you have some beautiful views.

Here is where they got me. I had a very important meeting where I had to present some food and needed to purchase a sauce. Unfortunately I arrived at around 11 PM and I couldn't stop by a restaurant. At the hotel though they told me that they might be able to help, but that the chef arrived at 9:00 am. That was just too late for me.

So I walked down in the morning at around 8:30 and believe it or not they had made the sauce for me. What's even more unbelievable is that they did not bill me for the sauce. I travel every other week and I can say that no hotel has ever done something as nice as this for me. I mean wow!

Whoever the chef and the hotel manager are thanks!!! I hope that you do read this because I am beyond grateful. After that I will only be staying at Marriott hotels you guys saved me from having a horrible meeting.

And by the way the sauce was amazing!!! I definitely recommend you to stay at this hotel, I am sure they will do everything to make your stay great.. I mean, who prepares pesto sauce at 8:00 am to help a guest.

The Hotel has a very nice atmosphere when you first enter at lobby level.
The reception desk works very efficiently, accurate and fast.
I needed help tracking down some packages that were ship there, before my arrival.
Darren Schreiber went out of his way to track, find and deliver the packages to my room. Everyone is very helpful and will assist you.
The rooms are well sized, very clean, comfortable beds and there was no noise to wake me up. Bar and Restaurant has good choices and service.
I will certainly make this Marriott my favorite when I travel on business and visit the area.

I spent one night at this property. Staff was very friendly, especially in the Concierge Lounge. Jonathan is the man. Room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was a bit dated, but everything worked well, and the water pressure was great. I appreciated that the restaurant was willing to let me order a lunch item before 11am. WiFi worked well. View of the river was pretty. Hotel is slated for renovations starting in 2Q2018. Would definitely stay here again.

Pros: Great service and incredibly amazing staff. Very helpful and friendly, the concierge service always makes my day! Probably one of the main reasons why I actually keep coming back to this location, the people and its fairly well located from the office and downtown, with beautiful views.

Cons: seriously need to work on their cleanliness, and upgrade their stuff. There has been more than a few times I've had to ask the front desk to sent room service and change the bed sheets along with the bed liners (see the attached photos) as I checked in. Once they even changed the entire bed as there was vivid urine stain that clearly went through the liner to the bed... And somehow housekeeping didn't see it even though you can clearly see the stain through the sheets as you stepped in and pulled the blanket. So now that's the first thing I check when I get in the room... Anyhow, not sure if it's the upper management just not prioritizing on spending the money to update things on time, but from the old sheets to the rough towels, the scratched up iron, and worn out seat... They REALLY need to work on changing these out periodically especially when the rooms are around $200/night.
Also, really should look into lowering the valet service cost when the hotel doesn't have it's own self parking other than the paid public parking structure attached to the hotel....

Overall: Great service / amazing staff. Pretty much the only reason I keep coming back here. Good view / location for sure. Wifi connectivity needs a little work, but once you're connected it runs fine. NEED remodeling/updating items more periodically, but for being norther KY I guess it's not the worst? They do put clean sheets once you make it a point to tell them as you check in. The pictures posted are from different stays at this location.

We stayed here when we got married. They were really excellent - great service, clean rooms, nice bar. Staff were friendly and courteous, drinks were good, clean clutter-free common areas etc. I'd recommend this to anyone who can afford it (we used travel points to pay). Covington is a pretty great party of Kentucky to stay in and their downtown is a five minute walk from this hotel. You could do a lot worse.

My compliments to the staff for their professionalism while evacuating us during a fire alarm (which ended up being nothing). They were competent, calm, and courteous. A special thank you to the staff member that came out and handed out blankets to keep the children warm while we waited outside.

Not a Marriott quality hotel & service. While hotel from outside & inside looks great, it's the service that wins you over.
Check in process, after I gave the guy my name.. He said oh you did mobile check in, hands me my card says elevator straight to left! I was puzzled as he didn't even mention what my room # & besides the fact didn't acknowledge my elite status with Marriott.
Room was good, had two issues though. 3 pillows were dirty (see pic) so we slept on one that had zero support.
Bathroom tub was stained & our sink wasn't draining... Engineering couldn't fix it (wanted to give us new room!) really the guy couldn't remove the stopper to unclog it or put dranao... If we were here for more than one night and not with friends that we have rooms close to each other we would have moved....
Honestly thou doubt we will be back.

Very nice. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. My only issue, which was crucial, was my room key kept deactivating. After the 3rd time the desk said top keep it away from my wallet magnet. Made sense, however, it didn't help. Total stay -5 VISITS TO THE DESK. Amazing part, the UCON NCAA basketball team was in town and at the hotel!! 3 stars because of the room key issue...

Nice riverside hotel overlooking the Ohio river. Located in Covington with easy access to Cincinnati. Views of both the Bengals and Reds stadiums are possible.

Beautiful atrium inside. Causes loud noises from the bar area through the night. Breakfast in the hotel restaurant is quite pricey for what you get.

Very good conference space as it is attached to a conference center via a sky bridge.

Right on the river overlooking both the Great American Ballpark and Bengals stadium. The restaurant on the main floor has an AWESOME Old Fashioned that they make with a locally sourced bourbon if I remember correctly. Plus the outdoor veranda seating area had BEAUTIFUL views of the river. Rooms were clean and orderly. Beds are comfy. Very nice hotel.

This was a spectacular hotel. The staff was spectacular, genuine, and helpful. The hotel itself was beautiful and located just on the river. Our room was on the 9th floor and had spectacular views of the river and the bridges. Room was clean and well maintained. Some of the finishes were a tad dated, but still looked decent. Bed was fairly comfortable and covered in soft, fluffy pillows.

I was here for a seminar and did not stay in a room. The meeting room was very comfortable. The power strips were set up well. The lunch that was served was top notch, and the staff was very attentive and friendly. One thing that was confusing was that the desk staff told me to go to 'room 2' but the sign on the door was labelled 'room 111' or something like that. Otherwise, this was a great experience, and I'd recommend it.

Thank you Marriott Rivercenter, for our wedding guest hotel blocking! Marriott was so accommodating and welcoming, throughout this process. The lobby is absolutely beautiful and was our backup location for wedding photographs, if it rained. Luckily, it was sunny that day, but it gave me such peace of mind to have this option. Their customer service is absolutely the best! Thank you again, for such a great experience!

I am currently attending a work conference and staying at the Marriott. It has been pleasant so far. The bathroom could be a little cleaner in my room, seeing as it doesn't drain great, and the dining glass still had lip marks from a previous guest, but the room seems pretty clean besides that, and the staff seems friendly. The hospitality room for the conference is a nice option for networking and more of a social setting.

6

Not a bad hotel, but way too overpriced for what you actually get. My view faced another hotel, the "free parking" wasn't advertised (we paid $10 for overnight parking and found out about it after we left), and the front desk messed up how we asked the charges to be split and how long we were staying. I will stay at a different hotel if I go back to the Cincinnati area.

The staff including the valet were incredibly courteous. We were on our way to S.E. Kentucky to see the eclipse when our car broke down near the hotel. The valet went above and beyond helping us find a Ford dealer where we could tow it along with numerous other things to make our "stay" comfortable. And we weren't even guests of the hotel.

The room is nice but dated. The hotel lobby is actually pretty nice and had a water feature on the wall. Check in was quick and easy (we got there at 10pm). Parking is a little burdensome but manageable. The neighborhood wasn't what i was expecting but that's okay because I wasn't really at the hotel very much during my stay.

Location was great as it is right on the river. Our room was on the river side which had a great view of the river and Cincinnati. The rooms and lobby were pleasant and satisfactory though pillows were a bit too soft and difficult to sleep on. However, the service was not too great as our requests to change pillows or bedsheets were ignored. The hotel is a good place to stay despite some bad room service.

Not only did the hotel meet my expectations, it exceeded them. My husband & I came from Michigan & were headed to Tennessee. We wanted to see the aquarium in the area, so we decided to stay here. We were greeted by a friendly front desk clerk (wish I could remember her name). The place looked amazing. The room was exceptional, & the bed & bedding were so comfortable. I would highly recommend going there. Everybody we encountered was very friendly, which is something we're not used to in our home state. We did not have a reservation and the price was under $100.

Stayed for my birthday and it was everything I could have imagined. I was hoping to get an email survey to fill out, but since I did not I will leave my thank you here. The rooms were gorgeous, and the view was breathtaking. But what really made my stay amazing was the service I received from Ryan at the front desk and Nick at the bar. They went above and beyond without me even having to ask to. I had seen the pictures of the fire pits online, but was not aware they were connected to the restaurant which closed at 10. Ryan and Nick made everything perfect for me though. Even when I managed to lock myself out on the balcony, Ryan had his manager (also Ryan) quickly came to my rescue and tried very hard not to laugh at my very funny situation. Thanks guys for an awesome birthday!!! Hope to stay with you guys again soon!!

Would stay here again. In town for a wedding over a weekend. Easy access to Cincinnati and interstates, and easy parking (valley or park in a garage attached to the hotel for $10/day). Room was spacious and clean. Not immaculate but nothing glaring or gross.

Location was very easy to access. A garage is attached to the hotel so parking as easy as could be. The rooms were very clean. The pool was a little odd to get to (3 different elevators required) and I was hoping for a hot tub but alas, I was disappointed. Overall great stay though. 9/10 would stay again.

Fantastic room and view! Service was friendlier than it has been in the past and var service was great. My only complaint would be that there is a separate elevator to take to get to the gym and pool. Also, we requested a fridge in our reservation and they had not put it on the room, causing us to have to wait ah extra half hour of waiting around for it upon arrival.

Great service and amazing staff. Well equipped, good view and such. Wifi connectivity needs a little work, but once you're connected it runs great. Overall, could use a little remodeling, but certainly a great place to stay.
One big suggestion would be to provide a parking deal with the attached public parking garage. The valet service is great, but too pricy when you're staying the entire week.

Service was friendly and helpful from the desk, to room service, to the restaurant and bar. The fitness center and lap pool were good. I was on second floor in a corner room, so there was a little more road noise than I would've liked, but it wasn't terrible ... Would just try to get a room on the river side next time, or a higher floor.

This is our first time staying in Cincinnati even though we pass through often. James at check in did an excellent job with educating us on the area and local hot spots. I booked a honeymoon package for a VERY premium price here. The picture of the room online was a bit deceptive. The room is smaller than it looks. We were on the 14th floor overlooking the river and Cincinnati skyline, which is really cool to see at night. The heater in the room did not work very well initially. We arrived late around 12:30 am, the thermostat said 66° so I turned the heat up to 80° and by 9 am it was down to 64°. I spoke with the front desk and they sent maintenance up promptly. He knew what the problem was and solved it very quickly. The valet was very prompt, every time we called the car was ready before we were there to leave. The breakfast in the hotel was pretty good but I ordered over easy eggs and got these things that were tough and rubbery with crisp edges. Too hot of a grill I'd say. The rest was good though. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

It was a decent hotel. Simple parking setup. Valet if needed. Although our bathroom was outdated the stay was overall good. Friendly staff as well. Great views. And a little tip... you can enjoy yourself by the fire on the patio outside of the restaurant and take in the city views.

The room itself was nice and clean with a great view. The lobby and the rest of the hotel was beautiful and clean. However, our bathroom left a lot to be desired. The faucet in the tub was practically coming off and the drain was so backed up we were standing in 6 inches of water before our showers were done. Also, the nozzle was cracked and there was grout missing.... All in all, the bathroom looked really shabby and gross.

Service at the hotel was polite and professional, very quick, especially if you have a rewards number, whatever the status. The room was spacious and the bed was nice. The bathroom was a little awkward, but it had all the required stuff. I have to travel to Cincinnati for business, and I will stay here again.

Rooms are very clean and set at a comfortable temperature. Hotel in general is very well maintained and feels 4 star. All employees we've come across have been very nice. The only downside is that there is a fee for parking. I understand this is probably because the convention center is right next door but I feel that hotel guests should not have to pay an additional fee just to park.

Edited after weeks end... upscale lobby, out dated rooms. Good breakfast options but highly expensive buffet and in-room service. Room service never came two of the four days I stayed. The center of the hotel creates a vacume of sound all the way up when people are laughing and enjoying themselves at the bar. I don't like this place and won't be back.

Decently renovated, though for the price of a room, they could stand to update some things a little more, in public spaces. Nice atrium though, and convenient access to the NKY Convention Center, via a skywalk. Very conveniently located near the Roebling bridge, also! Skip the coffee in the atrium though and head to the legit Starbucks across the street, at the Convention Center.

This hotel should have had five stars, and if you can sleep with ear plugs in, it still has five. The staff was excellent: friendly, helpful, very warm. The room was large and comfortable with huge fluffy pillows and good mattresses. But I had to dock stars for the noise. We stayed on a Saturday night and there were several weddings celebrating and with the open courtyard interior layout, every conversation, shriek of a child, raucous laughter, loud drunken conversation was as if it were happening right outside the door. If you're going to design an interior like that, and have a mezzanine/lobby where folks can have fun, then for corn's sake insulate the rooms and doors.
