Great hotel very close to the slopes. The room was very nicely decorated, the bed was comfortable, and it was very quiet. We enjoyed the hot tub and the lounge. Breakfast was excellent. I highly recommend it.

Visited Taos for my first time and stayed here due to the price and location. Despite the lack of snow and early season me and my boyfriend had a great time! The rooms are cozy, super comfy bed and the breakfast was delicious! Didn't bring our swimsuits other wise we would have taken advantage of the nice hot tub. Definitely would stay here again.

This is a place that has character, and is a part of Taos Ski Valley's soul. It is clear that the owners have put a lot of effort to keep it that way. The rooms with a loft are great fun if you have kids. The location is hard to beat, less than a mile from the lifts, and there is a free shuttle.

I have been going to Taos Ski Valley since the mid 1970's and have stayed at many of the properties there throughout the years. About eight years ago I found this hotel, and although I haven't been able to go as often as I would like, I have stayed there multiple times and always left there pleased with my choice. It is near the ski area, fairly priced, clean, consistent--exactly what I look for in a hotel. They seemed to have thought of everything--microwave & refrigerators in rooms, coffee in multiple places, and all of the little things as well. The owners are very nice and work hard to make your stay a pleasant one. In addition, their staff is very considerate as well. They treat you like family and are more than fair if any problems arise. They have a good, hot breakfast. This is a very well-managed hotel and a good overall value. Needless to say, I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a place to stay the next time you visit Taos Ski Valley.

Not worth the price! Basic room, super slow wifi. They said they were booked that's why the wifi was slow. So they are booked and are getting paid and I have to not have descent wifi??? I asked for decaf they only stock morning brew. The breakfast was mediocre at best. Definitely won't stay here again.

Owners and staff were very friendly. The shuttle service was convenient and accommodating. Provided complimentary breakfast was freshly cooked each morning (menu changes each day). Hot tub facility was kept clean. My only qualm was that the WiFi internet speed was a mere 1 Mbps. Granted, you aren't going to Taos to surf the web all day...
Overall, a very pleasant experience.

Nice place overall. Decaf was missing and breakfast eggs were standard acme scramble but food was plentiful.
The blue light outlets on every wall are awful ... check out what blue does to sleep patterns. Had to cover them all.

We've stayed many times at this inn during our annual ski trip in December. Love this place. Cozy and kids friendly. Reasonably priced and short drive from the slopes.

We really enjoyed our stay. Super nice owners and staff. Breakfast was fantastic. The kids loved the loft bed. Just a couple of minutes from Taos Ski Valley. Could not have been happier.

Breakfast was awesome - much better than I was expecting. It was a buffet-style with home-cooked style eggs, bacon, hash browns, pancakes etc.
WiFi technically exists, but isn't fast enough to do much but read articles, and even then you have to wait hoping the page won't timeout before loading, so don't come here expecting your own personal T1 line.
Beds and bathrooms are nice, but there isn't much in ways of amenities. I HIGHLY recommend doing a Wal-Mart run before going up the mountain, as the location is pretty secluded - which is mostly a good thing, just be prepared.
For the price, this is a very good place to stay if you're looking to go skiing in Taos. May not be for everyone, but definitely worth trying out!
