Extremely nice hotel. Casino on the ground floor, also a convenience store restaurant and bar. Right on the beach with excellent service. Very friendly and helpful staff. The valets are absolutely wonderful. There are Hamic’s on the beach and chairs and umbrellas the table set up for you all you have to do is ask. There is a bar in the pool that you can also get sodas at for the kids. Hey small hot tub and also a work out room. The business center is not very big but it has two computers a copier scanner printer and everything works.

Every time i am in San Juan i always book this hotel, right at the beach. Very nice and clean, super fast check in, friendly staff , bar outstanding , food is always super tasty , restaurant service very professional. Great job by entire staff and management .

Had my wedding here and I never thought I would use this word but it was PERFECT! Nothing went wrong! Staff was there for anything and everything we needed. I highly recommend this place.

Great hotel and the best beach. But please come up with more vegan options. I can survive on mojitos just fine (with French fries and tostones) but making sure your rice and beans are vegan would be great.

Beautiful Beachfront resort with all the amenities. Friendly hospitable staff. Paid Priceline for Ocean front but only got ocean view. Night manager came to our room, addressed our concerns and moved us to a room with a better ocean view.....not Ocean front but still better than first room we were given. Make sure Priceline is giving you what you are paying for!!! Must do the Oceanfront dining outside at the resorts Cafe Tropical!!! Beach is beautiful, never crowded and a quiet, laid back, peaceful vacation overall. Try the T5 bus ....only .75 cents which you can catch just a few blocks down in front of Denny's and go to the Old San Juan bus station and catch the FREE trolley that takes you on the tour of Old San Juan and shopping in the city! Great time!! The resort is maintained very nicely and rooms are decent. Only 8 minutes from San Juan airport!

Rooms with a view, service and first class beach. Restaurants made for a gourmet. Close to airport and shopping with a pool and gym. Surfing, jet ski and windsurfing available. Don't forget the casino on the ground floor.

Nice and beautiful beach. The staff are friendly and helpful. The facility is really old and poorly maintained. Breakfast buffet is motel quality (very low quality) for $18.90. For the price, I would next time book at Intercontinental or other Marriott on the island. This hotel is past time for remodeling.

We stayed a weekend here unfortunately we didn’t enjoy ourselves because of the Xplora fest (all type of beach sports) (May 25-27) the hotel was crowded No where to sit and relax loud music and security was being very annoying asking us our info like the room # ect. ect. No need to ask us anything we had our bracelets indicating we were staying there. If we knew about this event definitely we’ll booked somewhere else. Took a few pictures the morning we left I hope you enjoy. Overall It’s a beautiful beach front hotel minuets from airport convenient to walk to near restaurants. (Police is always around) good to visit with teenagers.

My husband and I visit PR .. we stayed on the courtyard Marriott in Isla Verde. We love it . We definitely recommend this hotel everybody is so nice and clean . After the hurricane last year we didn’t know how everything was gonna be but everything was so nice we will definitely go back .. the only thing it was some construction going on on the front entrance , But that’s understandable..

By the beach, miles and miles if it. Great food and amenities. Smaller rooms but with everything that you need inside. Close to a ton of restaurants and stores in Isla Verde, next to the San Juan airport.

The location is easy to get to from the airport and lots of options within a 15 min walk. Multiple pools, hot tubs, casino and great place to have a wedding. I do wish there were more veggie options on the menus but overall a small but tasty selection of food.

If you haven't visited the San Juan area, this Isla Verde location offers a nice beach with water and surf conditions slightly less heavy than resorts on Condado. Service is good and rooms are older but reasonably clean. It's one of the furthest resorts out on the main stretch of Isla Verde and a little bit of a walk to restaurants and shopping. If you have a rental car they offer validated parking where you can come and go with card access to the garage.

Downsides are minimal but should be considered depending on the purpose of your visit. Location is a little ways out from San Juan and other local resort areas but also right next to the airport (along with occasional jet noise). The cafe restaurant food is priced okay for a resort but most of the selections I've tried haven't been great. Their outdoor restaurant is better, but also way more expensive. If you have a package with breakfast at the café included it offers an omelette bar and is a small step up from most continental breakfasts.

If you're visiting primarily for vacation, the beach is nice but the pool area can get crowded, especially with children. Although there's a bar built into one part of the pool there doesn't seem to be an enforced or separate adults-only section. Also no smaller, more private hot tub areas like some other local resorts.

Bottom line summary is it's an average experience.

Beautiful facility (but not at all a resort) and the staff are really nice. HOWEVER: at 7am Monday morning the “facilities” crew began drilling and hammering next door. It was impossible to sleep.

Then we tried to get our clothes laundered (but the machines were broken (typical, I’d heard from staff).

BREAKFAST: I would have assumed that at $360/night you get breakfast—nope.

“Resort Fees” (read: 20% extra TAX) which is supposed to apply per your entire stay, was charged to us each day—a little scammy bonus for the hotel.

Anyway, I’d take a look around before you book with Marriott Isla Verse any time soon.

A typical big chain hotel, when some very nice beachfront location. The pool area is quite comfortable, with a couple of bars located nearby and one of them right inside the pool.
The staff is quite friendly, and the views are certainly nice, especially in the morning and in the afternoon. It offers hammocks, umbrellas and towels in the beach area.

Nice location and ambience .you can have your dinner next to sea shore :) amazing experience . Also we got upgraded to a ocean front view room .

Nice view of the ocean, Only one real restaurant, which got old real quickly. Numerous times the elevators were broken in the parking garage. Cable and power went out numerous times. Only two working elevators, sometimes only one.

This IS The best hotel to stay at in the Carolina beach area. Family friendly, yet provides that privacy for couples only retreats! Has a great casino, bar and restaurants. They have daily activities to keep you entertained and is close to local food, culture and water activities. Close to the airport. Great for family trips and pre or post cruise.

We can not say enough about this phenomenal hotel! We came here for vacation. They ended up helping us through a category 5 hurricane. Their staff is amazing! They are extremely accommodating! When we return, we will definitely be staying here again!

This day was great. The rims was nice. There was even a cool bar inside the pool that you could get great strawberry smoothie from. Great place to take the kids.

Great location on the island. Local park and natural shore line features make this feel like a private beach! Restaurant choices are excellent and reasonably priced. Staff always went above and beyond making sure all our needs and expectations were met. Rooms were exceptionally clean and decor modern and up to date.

Rooms could use a bit of paint but the service so far has been great. Food at the restaurant is good but breakfast is not included. Rooms are nice and clean and stocked

I attended a friend's wedding at this resort last summer. The resort is beautiful, the food was pretty good, but it is far from Old San Juan and the only transportation is overpriced cabs. Also my friends wallet was stolen out of her room, and an android tablet was stolen out of my room. They have a disclaimer in the room that they are not responsible for stolen items, apparently it is for good reason. We were only out of our room for two hours in the evening and had the "do not disturb" sign on the door, so somebody must have been scoping out our room. If you stay in this hotel, keep your valuables in the safe every time you leave your room!

This hotel is absolutely breathtaking.... BUT.. DO NOT eat anything at the swimming pool area. I peeked behind the bar looking for something enticing to eat and encountered absolute disgust. The poor cook was battling flies and was loosing hands down! He could not keep up with the shooing of twenty or more flies. When I expressed my disgust, he admitted he could DO NOTHING MORE. Though he DID NOT throw the onions and lettuce away, at least he threw the chopped up chicken into the trash. Needless to say I DID NOT eat there nor purchased anything for my family. And yes... we went hungry, only eating junk food from the snack bar inside the hotel. Not a pleasant afternoon. That stand should be COMPLETELY eliminated and the food should be prepared inside the hotel!

This is by far the best Marriott I have been to! I love it! When you walk in you are greeted and all the staff is so friendly! The check-in process is simple & they really make sure they answer all of your questions and help you if this is your first time staying! THE BEACH IS BEAUTIFUL! THE COMPLIMENTARY 2 hour BIKE RENTAL IS AMAZING! I just love it! I don't have anything bad to say about this place! :)

Our experience could of been better. On the third night we found a roach in our room and was moved after we complained. The room service is over priced and they got my order wrong the first time, and my boyfriend's burger wasn't well done like he ordered. We tried to eat at the hotel on our last day there and the food was terrible. The best thing about the hotel is the beach front. Parking is $15 a day, and there are lots of hidden fees.

Stayed here once in 2012 and again in now in 2017. Room is very clean and staff are quite helpful. The brunch at Cafe Tropical was delicious! I recommend the pastelon.

Excellent beach access, comfortable rooms with great views. Nice swim up bar with good food and drinks. It's a little on the costly side but it's a very nice resort.

The food and ambiance were great. I had tuna, and the others had a club and spicy fish burger. Very good lemonade. We ate right on the beach. The waitstaff were professional and courteous. I'm working down here in San Juan, and I definitely plan to eat there again.

Beautiful hotel on a beautiful stretch of beach! The drinks were great (expensive) but strong if you know how to order them. The pool area was always clean. I loved the live music on the weekends and it's true that locals come to dance! The casino is small but had everything we wanted. Free bike rentals was awesome and we used them to bike down to Pinones for a morning. All the staff were friendly and helpful! You are next to the airport, planes start around 7/8am but didn't go late.

Nice Courtyard right on the ocean. Great staff and manager. Airport is just south of hotel but did not detract from our stay. Our son has gone surfing everyday in the afternoon once we got back from our daily excursion. Highly recommend.

Rooms were nice and clean, had a nice ocean view.My wife and I thought the staff was very friendly and helpful. We also new going in about car rentals and cabs, we chose to be on vacation. Joseph our cabby from the airport gave me his card and we called him several times, sort of had our own private cab. (NICE) Thanks to the hotel,pool & beach staff.

Beautiful resort with many amenities. Five restaurants on location, beautiful pool, private beach, all rooms are ocean view, amazing customer service. We spent 3 of our 8 days at this property and found them to be very accommodating. One of the days we spent on beach. They were fantastic and got lounger chairs and umbrella set up for us. They have free boogie boards and you can rent surf boards. The cons of this property are walls VERY thin and you can hear everything, house keeping staff is extremely loud in mornings when cleaning. They are yelling down the hall to each other.

Some noise heard from planes at nearby airport, but mostly covered by the A/C (we were on the west side of the building, toward downtown San Juan). Otherwise, everything is very nice. Recently renovated, great pool and outside bar and lounging area, great beach for swimming and walking--better than some of the stops on the cruise we took after staying a couple days.

We've stayed here twice. Service is fine, but the walls in the rooms are paper thin. You can here every word of your neighbor's conversation. Also, the renovated rooms don't seem all that renovated. However, it's beach front and a great location for a good price. Food is decent, pool is very nice.

Nice hotel, but they charged me for a restaurant visit that wasn't mine... When I brought it to their attention they took it off my folio and said they would research it and then they printed my new folio. When I got home I saw on my credit card that right after I walked away from the front desk the employee re-charged the amount to my credit card. What a scam and dishonest

We loved this hotel so much that all my future trips to PR we will use this hotel. The room was beautiful, the casino was very fun and the pool area was cool. My only issue was the pool water seemed kinda dirty and had a smell. I guess since the pool is open 24hrs they have a hard time cleaning it. The staff was great and very friendly.

Our room had a balcony which looked out to a magnificent view of the Caribean ocean. While the room wasn't overly fancy, it was clean and perfectly satisfactory. The outdoor facilities were very nice and relaxing- large pool, hot tub, pool bar, hammocks, ping pong, beach chairs with waiter service, outdoor restaurant and bar, and iguanas! The pool was kinda cloudy. The iguanas were probably the friendliest staff members there, though. At least they seemed to like it when you pet their heads or fed them a piece of food. The rest of the staff generally acted indifferent, sometimes slightly bothered by you, and had a hard time making the effort to be cordial. Although I can't say anyone was exactly rude, we certainly didn't feel "made at home" as one might expect when spending a good amount of money to stay at a resort for a week. Service was slow, but I think that's just what it's like in Puerto Rico, and we didn't really mind. Jose and the valets, however, were nice. Good ole Jose.

Rooms were a little out dated but I loved the service. Excellent customer service. Pool area and hot tub was very large and nice. Beach Front access.

I'd like to say that during my stay there were no bugs in our rooms. The rooms were great and the hotel staff was amazing managed to check us in early since we managed to take an earlier flight. The restaurant staff was great buffet food was fresh. Outside bar staff were amazing drinks were great. Lobby bathroom were clean. Rooms were clean. This hotel has amazing night life live bands in the lobby. Very popular location. Rooms service was very prompt and food was great. Definitely willing to stay here again. The beach behind the hotel was meticulously clean.
