We were here for 10 days; we had a one bedroom apartment. It had a full kitchen, with stove, microwave, dishwasher, full size refrigerator, coffee maker, & blender. There were dishes for four people, 3 pots, 2 frying pans, two casserole dishes, one colander, a cookie sheet, 1 small mixing bowl, spatulas, large spoons, knives (they are dull). They provide a broom and dust pan, mop and mop bucket. I loved that there was a stacked washer and dryer unit so that I didn't have to bring home a bunch of dirty clothes. Please take your own cleaning supplies. The apartment was very nice and clean, the furniture a little dated, but comfortable. It was quite, and the staff are very friendly.
Now to my complaints, this place is a timeshare, it should not be called a resort because there is nothing resort about it. There is no dining on site, no special activities (except for kids). There is coffee brewed every morning, but it's horrible. They provide umbrellas and chairs for the beach, but take the umbrellas up at 4 p.m., and the chairs at 5 p.m.!!!! Why? Alot of people are just getting comfortable on the beach at that time. Also we only received one cleaning of our apartment for 10 days. I have more that I could write, but there is no use because Diamond Resorts logo is we Love to say yes, but it should be we Love to say no!!!

I visited The Cove while my cousin was in town and staying there. While I was only there 2 hours, it was nice and comfortable. I loved how each room in the suite had access to it's own balcony, and it's own restroom. Spacious rooms with plenty of amenities.

Beautiful resort!! Location was great! Ocean view from the balcony, and even though is close from Daytona beach is absolutely 100% different, more calm and relaxing, the pool area is really nice you have a lazy river and grills! Also the put some chairs in front of the beach for you to use without having to pay extra (first come first serve, try to go early)

I've been coming for 17 years. Things have changed of course and but some things have been nicer some years, but the cove is always a great vacation spot. Danielle is always our favorite. She's fabulous. Always something fun with her!

Great condo. If you are looking for a hotel like stay go to a hotel. This is a timeshare, most people staying there are owners. They do rent unsold rooms but don't expect for a maid to be coming to turn your bed down for you. Love the cove!

The personnel were friendly & helpful. Unfortunately, I was lied to about having to attend ANOTHER meeting due to change of ownership. I had already attended one on a prior visit where I was highly pressured to shell out more money to belong to Diamond Resorts. I am 71 yrs old & simply cannot afford that outlay of money. I was sick & in tears after THAT meeting. At least this 2nd meeting I had an honest man who, although wanting & encouraging me to be a Diamond Resort member, was polite & accepted my decision. Do like the resort as it is right on the beach, clean, & has a good location. Will visit again next year.

Very nice hotel. Clean , spacious, great location, and on the beach. The lazy river, outdoor pool , and spa pool were clean and water was warm. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Ocean view balcony was the best.

We stayed on the 5th floor. All rooms at least have an ocean view which is nice. The room is big and mostly clean. The floors were a little dirty, but good other than that. Staff has been nice and everything has been up to standard. Read the fine print about the $20 resort fee, but overall very affordable for being right on the beach.

All of the staff was very friendly, even when just passing by. The rooms were decently sized, and accommodating. Everything seemed clean, though there were a few things I picked up, such as a clothing tag and a water bottle cap. I have a one year old, so I have to keep a watchful eye. The pool looked really fun as well.

The staff are helpful and friendly. Check in was a breeze. We had an issue with our a/c in our room but they were fast fix. Our room was in the north tower on the second floor with the balcony facing the ocean. The south tower does not not have any balconies fully facing the ocean. From what I have been told the south tower units are nicer and have in room washer and dryer. The north tower units have a shared washer and dryer on each floor.

The pool area is great for the kids with a sloped entrance on one end and a lazy river in the middle. Plenty of chairs to lay in the sun. The indoor pool is great for smaller kids. Gym is small but very clean and all the equipment is brand new.

The bedrooms in the north tower are plenty big and the beds are very comfortable. The furniture is out of place for the beach. If we do come back to Ormond beach we would stay at the cove again but we would probably try the south tower.

We have a had a great family trip and really appreciate the hospitality of the staff.

My family and I stayed there recently. Excellent location, very friendly staff, very helpful staff looking to assist you in any way possible. Room quality was great, with a very heavy patio door (made for those hurricane days). We had a ocean front room. Nothing like waking up to sunrise, ocean waves, sand almost literally at your feet, and peace. In general, Ormond Beach is a secret location that is family friendly while still very close to the famous (and perhaps infamous) Daytona Beach which offers a bit more.

Great clean facility, very friendly staff. Pool is nice with lazy river. Family friendly. Pool could definitely use a tiki bar of some sort, as that is what we are used to with Diamond Resorts. There is no outside dining or drinks unless you leave the premises completely. Another suggestion I would make is for security to enforce the no-smoking rule. We have had to call-out people smoking around us on the balconies & especially at the pool. Every day we were there, there were several people smoking with kids around. It was disappointing. Otherwise, due to the quality of the facility, I am rating it a 4, as I feel like those things could be easily improved on.

My stay was awesome even though it rained all weekend. The amenities provided were great! There are grills by the pool, they offer beach umbrella and chair service which is all included in the resort fee you pay at check in ($20/ day). The studios have Murphy beds in them which is not advertised but we got upgraded into a one bedroom suite for free. The room was nice, furniture seems a little outdated. The walls and ceiling seem thin compared to other hotels I've stayed in. We could hear everything going on above us and beside us the entire time. Each room has a view of the ocean and the beach is literally right there when you walk out of the back door/pool area.

Very nice sized rooms. Great kitchen area with all the necessities. We really enjoyed the pool area and easy access to the beach.

The staff was really friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure the guests had a good experience. The resort was nice and clean. You could tell it was older, but well maintained.

Good spot with nice rooms. Place is clean and has direct beach access. Price was right, but quite a bit of attempts to sell time shares so removed one star.

Loved it. Stayed in a 2 bedroom delux suite with 2 kids and it was amazing. Unit had a fully functional kitchen and in room laundry. The hotel is located on the beach and the outdoor pool is heated which was perfect for the kids. Would definately stay here again.

Service is exceptional here. The front desk staff is super friendly and offered local information on Daytona Beach which was helpful. Even though the weather was really cold the pools available were very well maintained and they are heated! Location is very close in relation to the boardwalk but not in walking distance. Still, just 2 minutes north there is a shopping plaza.

We loved our stay here. For our family it had all the things we needed (very clean, roomy, great access to beach, nice pool for the little ones, ample parking w easy in and out) and left out the extras we personally just don't need to pay for (modern, extra amenities, etc). Real treasure we hope to return to...

Still one of my favorite Diamond resorts.. The staff, view and area are fun, energetic and customer orientated. The building is older but the service and friendly staff far exceed my expectations every time I come here.

We could've looked high and low and not found a place like this for the money. From the spacious, comfortable rooms to the convenience to the beach and pool, it's a winner! All staff is super customer service-oriented...probably because it's a time-share property. Whatever the case, it's amazing.

I have stayed twice at this place. I like it a lot as it is right on the beach with a pool that is close to the beach. my son and I had great time on the lazy river in the pool but the slide was not open both times we stayed there. Our rooms were very good and had nice kitchen. Parking is a bit tight but you will find space for sure. They try to sell you discounted ticket for stay for one week only if you can listen to their time share presentations but you do not have to sign or buy it. Just say no thanks.

The housekeepers and other staff are very helpful and friendly and cheerful I loved my view of the ocean and the fun acrivites they have there. Our rooms were very very clean.. We enjoyed our stay. We will be staying there again in the near future.

Great atmosphere and clean. 2 small things they could did better with!
1. The umbrellas are the pool are extremely small they are installed in middle of a table and doesn't give any coverage pass the table
2. Umbrellas on the beach also small with very short poles, they then bury it deep dog its no more than 3 to 4 feet of the ground.

It has been such a great visit here with the cove on Ormond beach. Very nice rooms and the atmosphere is amazing. And everyone I have encountered with is very friendly.

The Cove was a wonderful place very clean rooms excellent service great views one of the things that we look for in hotels is security and the Cove had that . Having long sticks that hold the sliding doors locked and people always walking around. Only down fall was its 1 car per room other vehicles would have to park behind a gift shop across the street

Hotel is fairly standard. Beach location is OK but a bunch of places were closed. Staff were nice.

Amazing kids love the pool, the lazy river the best attraction, free Wi-Fi, hot tub, indoor pool, amazing most comfortable rooms ever. Best place to stay

Rooms have been updated to a modern look. Great furnishings, two LCD TV's, and full kitchen. Spacious throughout all the rooms. Even had power outlets on the balcony so I could keep my tablet charged while using it for hours on end. Indoor pool, outside heated jacuzzi, lazy river, and ocean/beach front access, plus many planned activities to choose from.

Family friendly, but not full of rowdy kids. Lots to do either on site or very close by. Safe, easy to navigate neighborhood. Clean and well appointed rooms. The slide was taken down two years ago, but the kids never missed it. Between the beautiful beach that never feels crowded, and the lazy river to float around in you'll never be bored.

Very nice resort. We had a one bedroom unit. It includes a well appointed kitchen, nice separate living room. Be sure to request a Higher floor, the views are with it.

Bland, overpriced and outdated. Basically just a place to pitch timeshares. No joke, the furniture and 'docorating' (if you could call it that) in our room was vintage 1960's stuff. When we were there they were under construction and the was pounding and sawing going on frequently.

Seriously, if you want more from a hotel than a simple place to sleep, find someplace else.

Reasonably priced, very nice suites, great pool for the kids and some very nice grills out on the patio.

Customer service was nice, though we had troubles with getting a locked door open and some construction working a floor over from us was pretty loud.

So much fun and very relaxing. Great for kids on the beach!!

It was absolutely beautiful. The weather was fantastic for sweaters and walking on the beach too. We went by the cove but didn't stay overnight. We are planning to return there soon because we live in the area.

Staying here for a week and so far it's great. Love the room and the staff are very helpful. Will probably stay here again.

The cove in or mind is great. The staff is amazing from the front desk to the housekeeping service. Most definitely a place to stay. Great family resort and ormond location

My family and I stayed here this August for an entire week. We absolutely loved it. The room was very clean. The staff was very welcoming. Customer service was very professional, every time we had a request they were very quick to help us. Housekeeping was great. Security was very helpful. Pool staff was amazing. All staff are great with kids and families. The entire facility is clean, family oriented and its right in front of the beach which was fantastic. Shopping is relatively close by: Wal-mart, pharmacies, beach shopping as well restaurants. The entrance to Daytona Beach is right down the street, although we very much enjoyed the quiet, family oriented Ormond Beach at The Cove. We really enjoyed ourselves here and cannot wait to be able to take another family vacation there again.

My family recently enjoyed our stay during our annual family vacation! We had in excess of 50 people total! The staff were very accommodating! There were many nice amenities, including a conference room available to all @ no additional cost! This is one of the best places we have stayed by far! No complaints! Highly recommended!

I have stayed at The Cove for the last two years my brother and I. I think the staff is awesome. They treated me kindly and what ever I needed they were Johnny On the Spot. I was asked to attend a presentation and I replied I will call you when I am ready. I was never hassled after that. To read some of these reviews are so not true.

The Cove is located near whatever your hearts desires. Dunkin Donuts, Greek Food, Mexican Food, Seafood, Supermarket, Walgreens, Liquor store is right on the same strip. My brother and I would walk it everyday.

All I can say is trust me and go. It is a lovely place. Clean, safe, and friendly

Loved our stay. Would love to stay again. Loved the room. If you were not born with a silver spoon and dont expect a fancy place, would recommend here, especially for kids.
