This is an older property, but it is much cheaper than the other hotels in the area, so it is a good value (about half the price as the competition). The front desk staff are very friendly. Just be aware that the shuttle bus doesn’t run as often as the website claims (every 15 minutes), so you’ll probably have to wait a while for the shuttle at the airport.

I just left the restaurant Murray brothers Caddyshack. Nice casual atmosphere. Your basic pub fare. The food was very good and they had many choices on the menu. Their drink specials were awesome! I mean where can you get an absolute vodka martini, any kind for 5 bucks! If I'm ever in the area again I wouldn't hesitate to come back to try one of the burgers which several in my party said were fantastic. I had the crab cakes, which were great with 2 sides. The sides I have to say are awesome.

Stayed here several times over the years. Quality hotel, great service, excellent value.

One thing - the airport shuttle drivers really need to slow down. What's the rush? It's one trip every 30 min; it's not like the guy can't make it back with 15 minutes to spare before the next run. We're doing 50 on the side streets - accelerating through the turns - and let me tell you, the roads are not smooth. I thought I was on a carnival ride.

The reason for my stay at this hotel is for a fan convention, soy review may be biased toward the hotel for this reason. Because it's for a convention the place is packed with guests and the staff manage to do excellent work keeping up with the demands a very large group of people puts upon a hotel/convention space. The rooms are neat and clean and updated more than four years ago still seem new. Swimming pool area is nice and well kept. We ate at the Caddyshack themed bar/restaurant and the food and atmosphere are good. The hotel is in convenient walking distance to a number of other restaurants as well. The hotel is well sound proofed for being near the airport. While inside the hotel I've never heard any airplane noise from take offs or landings. It does need more parking.

I usually go there to meet clients for business. The staff is always friendly and takes pleasure in their service to customers. The facilities are very clean and it's always a nice stop for a drink. Also very patriotic, I see many service members there.

Overall my experience at the Crowne Plaza was good, but nothing special to set them apart from the other hotels I've stayed at in the past. The room and bathroom was clean and welcoming. The front desk staff were very helpful in answering any of the questions I asked. Service was very fast, the extra blankets I requested were delivered within 5 minutes or so. The website says the pool is open until 10pm but found out the hard way it actually closes at 9pm and was really disappointed. When I stayed it was extremely hot and humid outside and it was no different inside of the hotel in the common areas either. It felt as if the air conditioning was not on at all was uncomfortable and made me not want to leave the comfortable coldness of my room. There was a lot of different restaurants/bars to choose from right in the hotel and even more to choose from within walking distance which included a dance club and other late night venues. Like I said overall my stay was pretty good I just wish that the temperature inside of the hotel was comfortable enough to explore more of the amenities they had to offer.

Attractive interior. Comfortable room. Staff was efficient but could have been more friendly. Had a problem with the airport shuttle not coming in schedule. Hotel staff resolved the problem acceptably by ordering and paying for a cab. Food in the Murray restaurant was good, not great.

Hallway carpets needed cleaned but the rooms were very clean. Parking situation is HORRIBLE though. They do not have nearly enough spaces available for hotel guests plus restaraunt guests. There were protests outside because a young lady died there, which would explain why the prices were so low. After researching that entire story, honestly the whole thing is suspicious and someone there has to know something. I would definitely not stay here ever again. It wasn't horrible but the parking and the whole situation with the young girl dying doesn't sit well with me at all.

Comfortable and accommodating. Excellent breakfast prepared for our group of 89. Friendly and courteous staff. Check-in was a little inconvenient, as we had to unload and distribute room keys in the parking lot at night, then walk several hundred feet to the entrance. Good stay overall.

We were given vouchers to stay here after our flight from London arrived too late to make our connection to Denver. It was clean, well kept, a little older property. Our room was recently remodeled and well decorated. We were tired and ordered room service, the food was good, delivered promptly considering it was pretty late. The breakfast buffet was good. It's not a luxury experience but they got all of the important parts right.

Crowne Plaza was great. I always like their bedding and pillows. Best that I have slept on in a hotel chain. Rooms were recently renovated. Pool looked nice and the dining options for lunch and dinner looked to be alright. Located in a nice area and close to the subway.

The hotel is clean and easily accessible. The room was nice and the bed soft, except for the fact that our AC wasn't working well so the room was hot all weekend. At one point our room received a noise complaint and the instead of simply letting us know a security guard came to our room and threatened to kick us all out of the hotel in the middle of the night. It was not only excessive and rude it wasn't even warranted as we had already shut off all the lights and gone to bed before the guard even arrived. In the future the guards should behave a little less like Orsen Wells and in a more humble/helpful fashion.

Location is great, very close to the conference center. I've had mixed experiences with the staff. Some have been really great, but others have been incredibly rude. One of the cleaning ladies basically mopped over our feet, and the bellhops have been very sharp and rude as well.

Room was very cleans and functional. Bed was soft and clean. Had a great room that overlooks the airport. You can see that plains taking off but can't hear them. A great place to sit and relax while looking out the window. The location of the hotel is great close to the conversation centre and the airport. We stayed there while going to the motorcycle show. In the Rosemont center. The staff are very nice and willing to help always. The parking can be a little confusing, make sure you go to the front desk first and they will tell you the best place to park that day. (If you park in the back parking lot you need a key card to get into the hotel)

Great location. Really good food and room service. Small bar but top shelf. Attentive staff. Be sure to ask for their spa hand out of aromatherapy items.... Sleep and relax are really great. Really good business center area ditto for pool and exercise room.

I spent a short night here as part of an overnight layover at Chicago's O'Hare airport. It's only a short distance from the airport. Shuttle is available 24 hrs a day.

Rooms were nice and clean. Hallway decor gives me the feeling that the hotel is older.

Hotel has a fitness center, pool, conference rooms, restaurant and bar. I see a sign for Starbucks coffee, but it's not open at this hour (345am).

Room was a bit worn and old, but the bed was comfortable. There was only 1 hand towel and 1 washcloth in the bathroom; we didn’t notice till the morning when it was too late. The shuttle was easy enough to find, and was fast and efficient going to the airport in the morning.

We only spent one night here and the airline picked up the bill, so I can’t complain.

My stay at the Crowne Plaza Chicago Ohsre was not a planned one. Unfortunately, my flight was delayed and I needed a place to stay. Luckily for Me, the Crowne was not far from the hotel. The staff was very accommodating and provided me with basic toiletries and a lovely room. While the decor seemed a bit dated, my room was clean and inviting. I was able to shower, relax, and catch a bit of sleep before making my way back to the airport the next day. I would definitely choose this location again.

I stayed here while attending a training session in the ballrooms. One of the best parts is that it was relatively close to the airport, and they have a shuttle that runs every half hour. It was a breeze for us to get from the airport to the hotel. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, and the rooms were great. They were just enough space for one and possibly two people, and they had everything one would need, including a nicely designed bathroom, and a comfy bed with soft linens. While I liked the entire room, the bed was so comfortable, I could have stayed in there for days. The bar in the hotel was quite nice, and the ballrooms had everything that we needed. The food that was provided, which for us was breakfast and lunch, was okay. It was a bit bland, but I think that was more what our organizers chose. Again, the serving staff was pleasant and helpful. We ate lunch and breakfast in our training rooms, and they made a big effort to take our dirty dishes away ( as opposed to our doing it ourselves). While it's not close to a downtown area, there is a mall within walking distance, and that has good stores and a small food court. There is also another complex that has several restaurants, and I enjoyed checking those out, especially King's and the Hofbrauhus. I would definitely recommend this Hotel and Conference Center for other groups planning training sessions.

The Crowne Plaza Ohare hotel was the location for a large work conference for approximately 350 people. We used the ballrooms, hotel rooms, and their food service catered our breakfast and lunch. The service provided was excellent and the staff was very accommodating. There was some miscommunication about the set-up and we arrived to find our 16 training rooms separated by curtains which was unacceptable. The staff transformed the 16 rooms into 5 for us the following day which was a lot of work. The food and beverage service was excellent and food went over well with the attendees. I took off one star because the hotel rooms are showing age and th level TVs are very small.

Great service and clean for being an "airport hotel." I hosted a corporate event here and the staff was phenomenal! The AV team went above and beyond and the banquet staff was helpful to any request! The facilities were also a perfect layout for our event!

I stayed overnight for a conference here. The room was very nice- comfortable pillows and bed. Very nice bathroom. Only thing was that there was a protest outside until 930pm at night that disturbed my stay but front desk was accommodating to my needs and did their best to compensate for that.

Stayed here for a convention - nice hotel, excellent meeting space and accommodations. The rooms are comfortable, modern and well appointed. My non-smoking room smelled strongly of smoke and had cigarette burns on the upholstery of one of the chairs. In addition, very loud protesters outside of the main wall of windows to the rooms could be heard well into the night - they are apparently protesting the hotel’s cooperation in the investigation of a 19 year old girl that was found dead in a walk- in freezer on the property after attending a party here. The protesters carry bullhorns, whistles, sirens and drums - so they can make quite a lot of noise. The front desk when asked could make no accommodations and did not have any ear plugs. Would stay at one of the many other hotels in the area if I knew what I know now.

The room was nice. They provided us a crib for our child also. We stayed at this hotel in order to leave our car there as we were traveling. I was informed the price of the room included parking. When we went to check out, the parking indicated $30.00 was due. That is not what I was told. With flying and being delayed, I didn't want to argue.......so we paid it. I will be staying somewhere else next time.

Super fancy and elegant looking, marble everything. All of the workers were friendly and nice. Stayed here before going to MEPS to swear in the Army the next day and with how awesome everything was it calmed the nerves the night before. Food from the hotel restaurant was amazing. Had the burger and homemade chips which were phenomenal. Mall just across the street made it fun to have something to do so close.

We stayed at the Crowne Plaza on the last night of our vacation in Chicago. The rooms were very clean and well kept. The restaurant was great and would recommend the grilled steak salad with the Parmesan ring. We did have an issue the night that we stayed and wished they would have let us know about before we checked in, under the unusual circumstances they did everything they could do to resolve it, and I do appreciate that. I would definitely stay there again. Loved the city of Chicago. It was our first visit and would recommend it as we had a great time. Thoughts and prayers to the loved ones of Kenneka Jenkins I am a mother and feel such sympathy to the family and friends. Love and PEACE to everyone.

Currently I have a booking for the 25th/26th of August. I called later at night because I know reservation services are usually 24hrs at hotels of this size. I went through 3 different people and was put on long holds, forgotten about, and hung up on. This type of customer support is not appropriate or acceptable. I work retail 30+ hrs a week, and I know people can be taxing at times. But this treatment was irresponsible and amateur. I hope my visit at the hotel changes my impression of its staff, is all I have to say. 😬 my stay was better than the over the phone customer service I received; I'll give them that✌🏻and rooms are nice.

Great hotel and wonderful staff. The staff is so polite and more than happy to help you out. The the look of the inside is great and they have a resturaunt, bar and pool inside. Its also next to a large shopping mall, large bar/resturaunt area, theater, movie theater and convention center all across the street. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Rooms are kind of a mish-mash of old and new. Hallways are older. But everything is nice and clean, and the lobby/main level is very modern. Would be 5 stars if it wasn't so expensive or they didn't make you pay for parking

The hotel is nice, it's a clean place and very big. The restaurants are nice and the food is ok but a little on expensive side. There are better options near by. The rooms are very clean and well maintained. The staff is polite and they try hard to please. The only negative comment I can say about them, it is they are inconsistent with what they say. It seems the management didn't trained them well. Overall the hotel is nice.

Had my car parked here for 5days. Had a discount on the price, so I was glad of that. The only down side was, there where a lot of people waiting for their shuttle bus to take them back to the hotel, there weren't enough buses. Luckily my wife and I, we're able to get on the 1st one. The driver was courteous and kind, helping with the luggage and passengers.

I went to Flashback Weekend. It was great. The staff at the front counter was friendly and very polite with answering questions about parking and bathrooms. The dining area was beautiful and comfortable. Everyone who worked there checked on us and made the visit grand. We didn't stay over night, but we would, considering the service and friendlinss we got just by being there for an event.

We enjoyed our stay at CROWNE PLAZA very much. We stayed for 2 nights. The staff was very helpful and friendly, hotel was clean and our room was great ! Super comfy bed and pillows, shower had great water pressure. We had breakfast buffet both mornings. French toast, blintzes scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit, cereal, bagels, etc.all fresh and tasty. It went till 10:00. Only complaint, we wanted to sit outside on very large patio. 3 benches, really? I expected tables and some umbrellas, as it was all sun. Gfest was incredible ! They also could have put some chairs lining the walls downstairs, so you didn't trip over people sitting on the floor. Looking forward to another stay here!

Here for a yearly convention that I usually attend and never disappointed by my stay. The staff is great, friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and in very good condition. The hotel is near the airport and I never hear the airplane noise while inside the hotel. Parking lot is small, but when they're busy they sometimes open up parking in the adjacent parking garage. It's location for accessing the downtown of Chicago is pretty good as the Blue Line is close by. The Donald E Stephens Convention Center is across the road. Plenty of places to go and eat are in the area and within easy walking distance.

The Crown Plaza is generally my favorite place to stay for conventions at Rosemont. though much smaller than the nearby Hyatt, it's actually closer to the Donald E. Pillows are heavenly! All around perfect stay. The restaurant, while the food is great as is the service, is pricey for what they offer. I'd recommend the food court which is a short walk as you exit right of the hotel, a right at the side of hotel, through the parking building in front of you, about halfway through the garage at intersection turn left and follow the walkway through the garage and up the stairs and that brings you to the food court. We ate there the next day at the Hofbrauhause which deserves an excellent review all on its own! You must, must, MUST save room for the apfelstruddel which is too delicious for words! And found out that during the summer on Tuesday and Thursday they have live music in the court, food for purchase, and fireworks on one of the nights. The Crowne also has excellent shuttle service to the airport.

Great stay for business. Took the 5:30 am shuttle to the airport. Unfortunately, the Starbucks was not yet opened. However, the driver of the shuttle brought me a cup of coffee before we headed out! Unbelievable customer service. I was very humbled by this. Did not get his name, but he was driving the shuttle on Friday June 2 at 5:30 am. Many thanks and looking forward to our next conference.

Staying here while attending ACEN. The room is nice. Mini fridge, safe, tv, king size bed. The door for the bathroom is a bit weird. It's a sliding door with a bit of a gap between it and the frame. So sounds and smells kinda bleed through to the rest of the room. I recommend trying to get a room farther away from the elevators. The walls are a bit thin so you can hear them anytime someone uses them. But over all it's been a nice experience

Loved this place! Stayed here for Comic con. The whole hotel was really nice, the only complaint I would have is that we had to park in the overflow lot, which they told us was $15 each day... except they didn't mention that it was every time you LEAVE. Not each day.

Friendly counter staff. Very clean and comfortable room. Great convenient location. One complaint would be the absolute lack of customer service from the woman at the little gift shop. No greeting. No nothing. She never spoke to me. Instead of telling me how much my purchase was, she just pointed to the cash register display. Weird experience. Did not seem like she wanted to be at work that evening.

The rooms were fine, had comfy beds and a good shower. Parking was an absolute joke, with no spots so they parked us and a few other cars in a fire lane. Restaurant is good but too small for a 14 floor hotel. We'll stay somewhere different next time.

I have mixed feelings about this one. The place is huge which is good if you are having a meeting. But as a guest that's not so important. The rooms were clean and nice. But they did not have microwaves or refrigerators. The bed was soft but to Springy and it squeaked a lot when I moved. I kind of liked it. I don't know why.

6

I rated this a three because it was a mix between a two and a four.

On the four side: my room was well appointed and clean. The complimentary water on the floor was a very nice touch. I was traveling alone and, when the restaurant was full, I was directed to the bar that had a full menu. The seared salmon sandwich wasn't all that seared, but the salmon was cooked through, yet very moist and delicious.

On the two side: the airport shuttle was slow. One passenger said he had been waiting for 45 minutes for a shuttle that is supposed to run every 30. I didn't time my wait, but I noticed that each of the other hotel shuttles came by twice before the Crowne Plaza shuttle came around. I had a great deal of difficulty getting the treadmills to run in the gym. (When I selected a routine, it would ask for my weight, and the screen would accept no more input. After asking another guest, I learned that the quick start would work.). I bumped the thermostat up in the room by four degrees, and it never got warm the first night. When I mentioned the problem to the front desk the next morning, they sent an engineer who simply bumped it up another four degrees. The room safe didn't work. I let the front desk know, they sent the engineer who replaced the battery. I asked to check my laptop into a hotel safe while I was waiting for the safe to be fixed, and they simply held it at the front desk (literally sitting on top of the desk, not even on a shelf below). When I discovered that the lever for the stopper on the bathroom sink had been removed, I used a hook from the shower curtain for sufficient leverage to close the stopper so I could wash my workout clothes. Any one of these items was excusable, but they really stacked up over a 24 hour period.

Beds were very comfortable, slept great and not a problem at all. Bathroom is very up to date and clean unlike most other hotels so that's a very good positive view for me. This property is clean and comfortable, the location is great, with nearby shopping at the mall, and food and entertainment options all within walking distance. All the while with a location near the airport. Rooms were modern and comfortable. No issue with HVAC noise or aircraft noise. The indoor pool looked nice and fitness center from a far. My only minor complaint is the property design. Lots of random steps, and elevated flats, with confusing cooridors, and ramps, it is pain to drag luggage around.

After having to work extra late hours, it is always pleasant to walk into Crown Plaza. The staff is always great and the location is surrounded by shopping and dining all around. Great restaurants on site.

This hotel was really great! The staff was very friendly and did not really pester my friends and me at all. They were also really generous with giving towels which was really important to us. The decor and location was wonderful too! Parking at the hotel was full, but that was not really an issue for us since we got a spot; we just had to park further away from the entrance than we would have liked. Overall, no complaints! I enjoyed my stay to the fullest.

I had my wedding done at the crowne plaza. I started with them in 2014 and worked with an amazing event coordinator, Erica Urban. She ensured all our needs were meet and worked with us on a lot of little details. Everytime we had a visit she made sure to take everything down and ensure my wife and I were taken care of. Erica honored everything in our contract and never gave us any grief. She even stayed during most of our wedding to make sure everything was perfect and to our liking. The even room was spacious and offered great lighting and more than enough room for 150 guests. The Crowne Plaza also had amazing rooms. They were very modern looking, had mini fridge and microwave. Amazing showers with great water pressure. Everything was great! The staff, rooms, food, pool, decorating, everything! I would most definitely recommend this Hotel to everyone for all their needs!

This hotel had clean rooms, easy access from toll way and a friendly staff. A refreshing amenity was the cold filtered water dispenser next to the ice machine on our floor. We stayed over nite due to an early morning flight and found the shuttle to be timely and comfortable.

The Crowne Plaza was a picture-perfect wedding venue. Our guests are still raving about their food, the ballroom carpeting is non-clashing so that you can pick any wedding colors you like without worry, and the hotel rooms have the most gorgeous decor I have ever seen. Their staff was extremely accommodating and flexible throughout the entire process, especially Erica Urban, who was so helpful that a wedding planner wasn't even needed! They went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything we could have ever wanted and more. Even though I was willing to do some of the set up on the day of because I felt I had extensive decorations, Javier and his team took care of absolutely everything so we were able to enjoy our entire day. After all that was taken care of, including the cake, you would assume that prices would be unreasonable; but on the contrary, of all the hotels in the Chicagoland area that we consulted with, they had the most value for the least amount of cost. If you are still looking for a wedding venue, your search ends here.

Was put up here by Luthhansa due to mechanical issue on theor plane. Very quick check in for about 100 people who had just got off a 9 hour flight and missed their connection. Room very comfy. Wake up call, Starbucks in lobby then shuttle to airport. Ran very smoothly.

Stayed here for 2 nights while attending Chicago Comic Con. The Con was right across the street, so super easy to walk to from the hotel and back. Hotel is nicely updated, rooms are clean and the bedding is nice. Many great amenities. Make sure to eat at the Hotel restaurant, the Chicago Fire Oven Restaurant has amazing appetizers, pizza, and drinks. They also offer a good breakfast buffet.

Very courteous and friendly staff. Food from their brick oven restaurant is amazing. The rooms are clean and luxurious with great thought into the interior decoration. Conveniently located near the mall, theaters and restaurants. Near public transportation

We stayed at this hotel as a park and stay a night before a trip out of O'Hare. The hotel itself was fine. I don't have complaints about the hotel itself, as we were only there for a few hours before our early morning flight.

I wanted to mostly share our horrible experience with the shuttle driver hired by this hotel.

The morning shuttles only run every 1/2 hour, so we were ready for the 3:30 am shuttle. The shuttle arrived a few minutes early, so that was good. My brother decided as we had a few minutes, he'd move the car to the garage structure vs. open parking lot (as we found out we could use that).

So, we had multiple bags awaiting the shuttle driver to load. He asked if we were all there, we stated one was going to be there in about 30 seconds. He refused to load our bags, stating that we would have to wait for the 4 am shuttle (wasn't an option for us). He shoved a watch in our faces, asking us if we could read the time, and it was 3:31 am, we were late and he would not wait nor load our bags. In the time it took him to yell at us, my brother did arrive. In the time he would have loaded our bags, he'd have been there. So, he actually wasted more time yelling at us.

On the return shuttle we had the unfortunate experience of having the same shuttle driver. My mother recently broke her ankle and was in a wheelchair at the airport. I also had my 1 year old sleeping in a stroller. When we got back, we called the hotel. Were told it would be a 20 minute wait. Fine. So, the wheelchair attendant parked us at a door, as it was cold and raining, and waited outside for the shuttle. 35 minutes later it arrived. The attendant informed the driver were were just inside the door, and he'd get us. The driver stated he'd wait 1 minute, or he was leaving us. When we walked out the door, he was just rudely staring at his wrist, apparently counting down the time.

On the way back to the hotel, he picked up someone walking down the street and gave them a ride the the fashion outlets. Which, that's fine to me. But the fact that he was SO rude to paying customers, but had time to pick up random people and give them a ride where ever they wanted to go is ridiculous.

If you're going for just a hotel stay, I'd say it's fine. If you want a good shuttle service, definitely choose one of the several other options for park and stays.

For me, the horrible rudeness of their employee on BOTH occasions will keep me away.

I stayed at the Crowne Plaza for ACEN 2015. The rooms were well kept, clean, and has an occupancy cap of 4 but fits 8 people comfortably. The location is great, being close to the airport and across the street from the convention center. Which means that you should always be able to make it back to your room, even after getting drugged at the late night rave. The hallways next to the elevators are spacious and perfect for starting a 20 man board game party. Security is pretty strict though. My group had security called on us half way through one of our games because we were "blocking fire exits". As we were packing up the games, security thought we weren't listening and threatened to kick us out an call the police on us. He sat in a little nook outside of our room the rest of the night. Aside from the crabby parents in the rooms next to us and "excessive" security, the stay was great.

Pretty nice clean hotel. You can tell it's an older building if you look closely but most everything is updated and modern. The room has a faint funky smell, but overall it's nice. The elevators were out of service tonight when we got here.

The rooms are clean and fairly up to date. They have HD channels on the TV. It is a prime location if you have an event at the convention center across the street. Breakfast at their restaurant is expensive, but delicious. The "free" internet is a joke, 400 kbps. Basically dial-up speed. You are better off using an LTE hotspot.

Really nice front desk staff!!! Hotel was clean, nice, and quite!
Rooms had a sleep amenity kit that was really awesome aswell.
Overall service was great. From the friendly shuttle driver to Joseph at the front desk, everyone went way beyond expectations. I mentioned to Joseph about it being to warm in the room, he told me he would send some one up to fix it. Thirty seconds later Joseph himself came up to fix it and even though it was my error he made me feel great!

Restaurant food was excellent aswell. Try there Chicago pizzia or the salmon!
