I was sent to this hotel after an airline problem, sight unseen. I was pleasantly surprised. The exterior was clean and well kept. When I entered I was greeted warmly by the staff and quickly received my room. It was a large modern design with a beautiful bathroom and a large shower. Most importantly in Ft. Lauderdale the A/C was superb. The restaurant offered the standard menu and it was great but very pricey.

Received excellent customer service from airport pick up (Thomas thank you) to the check on staff very pleasant and accommodating (D.C. and Nicole you guy are the best thank you for your kindness) and I can't forget (Stanley thank you for all of your help) my room was clean spacious as well as the property it self is well maintained. I would stay here again when in the area. Restaurant was good for breakfast.

The hotel is close to airport, has nice rooms and accommodations. However, initially checking into a room, found that AC did not work and toilet had broken handle and float switch. After contacting lobby, the concierge had replaced me with different room, bringing keys by himself while I was packing again. The hotel provided good and friendly service overall, and I plan to stay there again.

This was probably the best hotel I have ever stayed at. Our flight was canceled without notice late Sunday evening. Within 10 minutes, they had three rooms for eight adults, plus an infant booked for me. The process was extremely simple and convenient. They provided a complimentary shuttle from the airport for my entire family, including the infant which required a car seat. Upon arrival, we received free water and multiple other offers. The cleanliness of the hotel and superb staff was above and beyond anything we could have expected or asked for. We were taken care of every step of the way. This hotel treats you like family, which is unheard of in the customer service industry that we deal with today.

Spent the night here prior to our cruise. Comfortable bed, quiet room and great room darkening window coverings. Did not try their little restaurant, but had drinks at the bar which were good. Small store in the hotel with a sad lack of anything relatively healthy. Protein bars, protein drinks etc., would have been great.
Overall, a good place to stay for the night.

This was a comfortable place to stay on my stop over in Fort Lauderdale. It is close to major highways, shopping centers and of course the cruise lines. Clean and accommodating. Only one restaurant is in the building which limit your choices for food but a short drive will bring you to other eateries ranging from fast foods to dine in restaurants and shopping malls.

Second stay in six months after our first cruise out of Ft Lauderdale. Crowne Plaza is a first class hotel. Superb accomodations. Clean, comfortable, quiet. Conveniently located to Port Everglades Cruise Port and the airport. Shuttle service available to both. On site restaurant-- Kiki's Bar and Restaurant (be sure to see Andres, the bartender). You could stay at less expensive hotels in Ft Lauderdale, but if this is a vacation, give yourself permission to indulge.

Hotel and front reception is nice. The restaurant is delicious and the inside staff is excellent! However a gentleman from the parking staff really brought down my perception of this hotel. He was rude and aggressive and it wasn’t appreciated. I was being dropped off for a conference at this hotel and he directed my husband where to go on the side. We sat in the side parking space for literally 5 minutes so I could finish my coffee and the parking attendant comes up fast and aggressive and tells us to move and go up to the parking deck (where we have to pay). When we told him why we were there waiting for me to finish my coffee (with our car still on and running), and he got even ruder and said to move now and we could bring it up to the manager. When I asked for the manager he ignored me and pretended he didn’t know what I was talking about until I kept asking and then he said to “go find the manager somewhere inside.” Awful service. I think he just wanted us to pay the cash to park (even though we didn’t need to park) for his own use.

Traveling from Chicago to embark on a cruise out of Fort Lauderdale. My wife and I are quite picky, especially when it comes to details, and this place had the WOW factor. The hotel is beautifully decorated and VERY clean and comfortable. Pool area was perfect for the kids, amenities were readily available, beds were comfy (even the pull-out sofa,) sheets and towels were soft and clean. Walking distance to almost anything which was nice, and the nearby neighborhoods were quiet and peaceful. When we arrived at the airport, I called to inquire about a shuttle to the hotel, and DC at the front desk promptly dispatched a courtesy driver to pick us up. As I was getting us checked into the hotel, DC remembered and acknowledged we had spoke on the phone earlier, he was ultra-professional, and he made us feel like guests and not just another reservation. DC gave me all the info I needed for our stay without me needing to ask a single question, and he was very helpful - as was the rest of the staff - throughout our 2 night stay. Thank you for the hospitality, we’re coming back for a night after our cruise is over before heading back to Chicago.

The Crowne Plaza is a fairly straightforward and ordinary hotel near the airport. There is an airport shuttle available, which was free, though do plan a few extra minutes in your schedule if you catch it during a Spring Break were, like I did. The gym was nice, with fairly new equipment, and the restaurant offers standard hotel restaurant food that was convenient and good.

Kiki's Restaurant have a great food and excellent service. They have lot of choices in the menu. I try the fajitas and was so good. I stay at the Holiday Inn Express that have complementary shuttle to visit this restaurant. I recommend this restaurant. The public areas of the hotel look very good and the staff in front desk is very friendly.

Nice hotel. Rooms are nice, there is a swimming pool and a gym.
Loved the little sleeping pack that they left in my room - I had such a good night sleep!
This hotel is very close to FLL airport and Everglades port. They offer a shuttle service.

The hotel is well located in Fort Lauderdale, close to many roads. The rooms are clean and cozy, with a big TV and comfortable beds. The service is good and all staff was nice and gently all the time. The breakfast is not bad, but the buffet has too few options. Didn't try the pool, but seems really nice.

Had an over night stay for a business trip. The parking situation was a little tough. Not enough spaces in the garage but other than that, the hotel is really nice. Rooms are super clean and the staff was incredibly nice and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel attendant DC.. was great! He gave us a great room so that my son can see the fireworks. Our room was clean. The bathroom was clean. It smelled very fresh and was very bright. We didn't get to use the pool but it looked very clean..

Very nice hotel with gteat attendants. Shuttle came promptly to pick us up and drop ud to the airport. Beds are comfortable. Room service came to knock twice even with the do not disturb sign.

Everyone was very nice and helpful. The hotel was very clean. My only complaint was that housekeeping left my door open and I was gone all day. Thank goodness I didn't leave anything valuable in the room so nothing was taken.

Very accommodating. Allowed us early access to our room. The free airport shuttle runs 24 hours a day, departing at 20 minutes after the hour. You just have to let them know which time you need to be on it. Great stay.

We had a party of nine adults stayed here before and after our cruise. Very pleasant stay. Staffs wonderful! Rooms very clean. Also really enjoyed eating at Kiki's Restaurant. Good food and drinks.

Really liked the mgr on staff she was nice and professional. The room was very large and had room for a kitchenette. The grounds were very clean and the pool and lounge area was very nice. The workout area was nice cozy but suited our need for exercise. Located right off the airport was a plus. Just wished they had a shuttle to rail (train) we got hosed by yellow cab, the driver took us not to the closet rail but 1 a lil further to get more $
I would choose this hotel on my next visit as well.

Great location near the airport. This hotel is relatively new and modern. They have a nice area on an upper floor where the pool and restaurant were located. Many Crowne Plazas are remodeled old hotels, it is nice to see a new version of this hotel brand.

I stayed at the Crowne Plaza for 2 months. Each week I came in town, worked on a project at the airport, then left again each weekend. The shuttle drivers are the best! The front desk greeted me by name. But the best was the restaurant. Tired from working each day the Kiki's restaurant gave me a place to have a great dinner each night. The food is wonderful and the service crew was the nicest group of folks. Thank you for making my home away from home for 2 months a wonderful experience.

The executive room was lovely, but too far away from the shopping centre for me. I do not mind a 20 minute walk, but not returning with packages. It was too hot. You did not feel comfortable sitting off in the foyer, it was more like a place for business.The staff were pleasant and the food excellent, but took way too long for the food to arrive in the restaurant . If it was not for the waitress, I think her name was Luz, I would have left. I also did not get a harbour view room. Sorry I will not stay at this hotel again when I am in Fort Lauderdale. I prefer the location of the Renaissance or Embassy Suites.

Bathroom had no fan so when you pooped it stank for days. Front desk girl was not good at advising about things to do locally. Not terrible but expensive for the quality of service I received.

The hotel was clean. relaxing atmosphere. They are all about making their guest feel relaxed and welcome. The rooms were spacious and up to date. Early check in was available as well as a late check out. They were very accommodating. The pool was clean. Restaurant was open late and food was good service excellent overall. definitely would stay here again.

I'm not really sure where to begin. We paid a little over $500 for 2 rooms. Check-in says 3 but we had to wait for over an hour before the rooms were ready. Then only 1 room was available so I signed the paperwork, they swiped my card for both rooms for incidentals, checked my ID and were given the key to one room. We dropped our luggage off and headed to the pool. About an hour later we went to see if our other room was ready, which it was but the front desk staff insisted they needed my credit card again. I assured them it had already been swiped and even showed them my account on my phone. They wouldn't listen so I had to go up to my other room, get it then return to the front desk only for a different person to inform me she didn't need it because it was already on file... Yeah. Frustrated.

The rooms, while new, are not maintained well and it shows throughout the property. Light bulbs burned out. Carpet frayed. Bathroom wallpaper peeling. And dirty walls around the bathroom doorway.

Every staff member we encountered looked miserable. The only exception was the breakfast wait staff who were very attentive.

Another miscommunication was checkout time. The door says noon, but the booklet for guest info says 11. Imagine my surprise when someone from housekeeping is knocking on my door at 11am telling me I have to leave the room. I showed her the sign that says noon and she literally told me she didn't care what the sign said. Check out time is 11.

I am an IHG rewards member and couldn't believe how poorly this hotel and its staff represent the Crowne Plaza brand. Save your money and stay somewhere else.

I can understand that the hotel might have been busy the previous night, but I would expect management to prioritize cleaning a room type that a guest is waiting for. Sitting around for five hours to check in is unacceptable.
Update: Ignoring the check in process, the service staff was very friendly, the rooms were clean, and the bed was very comfortable.

Amazing customer service. The agents remained calm and professional in placing us in rooms, as we were negatively impacted by the Delta Airlines planes groundings and cancellations. I'd been at the airport for 15 hours and Crown Plaza surly took care of me. Even found me a late night place to eat...Really grateful for this establishment. Very clean, professional, and way above par. Kudos. Delta paid for hotel and food, but was much more than I could have expected considering the circumstances.

There are only 2 good things I can say about this hotel. 1: The Hotel is in a good location. Handy to shopping malls and the cruise terminals. 2: The rooms are very nice, clean, and comfortable. At the other end of the scale, when it comes to local information, the staff are not knowledgeable at all. Information such as where the nearest bus stop is located, approximate taxi fare to certain popular locations, in fact getting directions from any of the staff made me feel like I was putting them out. Stating the staff were rude would be an understatement. And, when I say staff, I include the manager. His attitude was a little more cordial than I'd expect from a man in his position.

What a mixture of nice surface looks and garbage. The room was nice except that I wouldn't sit on the loveseat without a blanket over it. The very nice sink in the nice bathroom had a large star-shaped crack in it. And after check-in we went to Kiki's (the hotel's on-site restaurant / bar) for a drink and possibly dinner. It looked like a nice place. A piece of advice...don't drink the draft beer, at least the Bud Light. I don't think that the tap had been cleaned since it's original installation. It was awful. We each had one sip, paid and left. We decided not to chance the food in a place that doesn't seem to do more than surface cleaning. After dinner and drinks out, back to the hotel and to bed. Woke up around 7 to what sounded like a bowling tournament on the floor above us. No going back to sleep with that noise. Got up and prepared to leave. The walk to the elevator hampered by 2 large housekeeping carts with no housekeepers in attendance. Don't waste your money.

The hotel was great and the price was just right when booked through Priceline express deals. The only thing that annoyed me was the fact that I had to pay for overnight parking. You would think this would already be factored into the price of the room setting that I'm already paying to stay there. Other than that the rooms were neat and clean.

Comfortable bed and nice shower. Bathroom exceptionally small. When door to a nearby room closes, it shakes the whole room. No free breakfast and available breakfast is very expensive. Got some fruit with an English muffin, coffee and orange juice for $22.00. Overall, definitely centered around corporate stays with company credit cards. If you aren't paying, could be nice.

Nice rooms with lots of space and a quirky modern decor. Don't use their shuttle if you are in a hurry. Coming from the airport, the shuttle driver circled the airport for thirty minutes, stopping at each terminal 3 times, before leaving for the hotel. We tried to take the Crowne Plaza's shuttle back to the airport, but the shuttle driver never actually came into the lobby where we were supposed to wait, so one of the hotel staff had to drive us. The staff were great, but don't count on the Crowne Plaza airport shuttle if you need to be somewhere on time (note that the Hertz location in the Crowne Plaza uses their own separate shuttles).

I stayed at the hotel on business only one night with a prepaid room booked through Orbitz, my job paid for the room. Of course I had to give them my Credit Card to cover incidentals. The Next morning I saw that they charged my card an additional $225.00. I wend down to the front desk to complain and they said they would take care of it. (They sure did) They billed me an additional $243.00 for the room, so far have been charged 468.00 for my prepaid room. I finally got a hold of the manager (Sue) and when she put me on hold the front desk picked up and said that she wasn't available. I had to call corporate and while they said that this would be taken care of it hasn't yet.

I have now spent more time trying to get the charges reversed than Iactually stayed at the Hotel.
