Honestly the location is fantastic! A few miles from the airport & the highway! Also a few miles from walmart & plenty of restaurants! The location and kindness of the staff are the things that stick out here! Excellent customer service! Nothing special about the rooms, pretty typical in that sense. The only negative thing I have to say is about the restaurant! Absolutely disgusting, expensive & small portions. Ordered $10 volcano shrimp, barley got any and it was cold & soggy. Horrid & honesty is a HUGE negative in the experience. Great staff regardless, just avoid the restaurant it's an embarrassment to all their hard work! Worth staying at overall. Only suggestions I have is microwaves & safes in the room would have been nice!

The rooms were well-appointed and clean. The inlcuded "sleep well" package (scented spray, face and foot rub lotions) was a welcomed addition. I had a free breakfast ticket, so I visited the buffet. The breakfast had a nice variety of food available, and was above average in flavor. The front desk staff was very friendly. Parking was easy and plentiful.

We stayed only one night for a pre cruise evening. Check in was quick and friendly, the room was nice and comfortable. I had read other reviews that the rooms were hot. That was not the case for us. Service from the staff was great. Linda the bartender was very pleasant and attentive. My only complaint was the food. We ordered from the bar area and I can't even call that bar food. It really was bad, not even close to good. One of the main reasons we selected this hotel was because we could order dinner and a few drinks without going anywhere after a long drive.
We should have walked to the waffle house to eat. Other than the food we were served we weren't disappointed with our stay. So I still gave 4 stars. I would like to stay again in the near future when we book another cruise so I'm hoping the food quality has had some improvements.

Good experience this time. Room was just right. Clean for the most part except one pillow had some stains. The guy at the front desk tonight had great customer service and made sure I was pleased.

Has to have been one of my favorite places to stay, the staff was phenomenal and tremendously helpful. I had some issues to deal with non-relative to them and they made extra accommodations for me to help! Will be back to stay when I can. Also, has a fairly decent gym for a good workout vs a lot of other hotels.

Great location, clean room, good food, and good bar atmosphere. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the bath tub had a slow drain which caused a backup. I would stay again!

A perfectly fine hotel for the price. It was as clean as most hotels I've seen, but I clean better myself. The indoor pool is small and serves its purpose. The staff was extremely friendly and kind. Great for a one or two night stay!

The lobby area is nice with pretty decent food and and a good bar. That’s the only reason for the extra star they were given.

The rooms are plain gross and dated, walked into the room with a horrible aroma. The room felt clammy and the sheets were dirty. On one of the bed was a small dead spider and hair fibers. On the other bed was stained with something yellow. Lighting is terrible and one of them actually flickers. One of the girls at the front desk had a horrible attitude. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Simply find somewhere else

I have to say that at first I wasn't to sure on how our stay would turn out. When we arrived we were allowed to check in early which is a plus for us Seeing that we have a 20 month old daughter. After checking into our room we realized that the air was not working. When I went to the front desk the MOD apologized and moved us into another room. Unfortunately after checking into the 2nd room another mishap occurred regarding a insect in the room (NOT A BED BUG) and I began to get a little frazzled but when I went back to the front desk they were deeply troubled and sincerely apologized. We were moved again and received complimentary dinner tickets during our stay. After that hiccup our stay was Wonderful. The room was great with a super comfortable bed and all the staff we encountered was super accommodating. The morning crew in the Savannah Bistro were so friendly and took care of all our dining needs and the men that run the buffet can cook a mean pancake and our server was excellent!!! The ladies at the front desk were awesome (particularly a light skin young lady with glasses....I think Teresa) was polite, hospitable and handled all our concerns with a smile. Overall we were completely satisfied with the amazing service we received. If staying in Jacksonville this is a great choice. Thanks again Crowne Plaza!

5 stars! Very beautiful, very clean and the staff were really nice. Indoor and outdoor pools for the family and we also received breakfast buffet tickets for The Savannah Bistro. The food was great. The eggs weren’t powdery and the pancakes were perfect. My husband doesn’t tend to relax much on vacation but even he got in the pool! For me, that is an all around win! Beds were extremely comfortable and the kids didn’t want to leave. We can say for certain that we will be back next time we are in Jacksonville!

I spent four days at this hotel for a conference and it was wonderful. I was greeted with a smile and pleasant staff. The hotel rooms were clean and housekeeping staff did an awesome job daily caring for my room. The food at Savannah's Bistro was absolutely delicious. Would definitely stay again.

There were tiny bugs (not bed bugs) in my room by the broken coffeemaker and inside of the fridge which was very unfortunate. We checked in late for a short night and as we were getting dressed the fire alarm went off. The hotel staff seemed to ignore it but when I asked multiple housekeepers if it was a false alarm the answer was always "I dont know or I'm not sure." The beds were comfortable but it wasn't a restful sleep because I couldn't stop thinking about the tiny bugs. The front desk staff the night we checked in we very very nice especially for it to be so late. The day staff was not as pleasant. I tried to inform them of the things going on with the room before leaving for the airport but after waiting for quite some time in line I had to catch the shuttle to catch my flight. I wouldn't want to stay here again, as my coworkers also had tiny bugs in their rooms.

This is the second time I've been at this hotel. The bar in the center was nice. Not too noisy. The seminar was hosted at the hotel last year. I recall enjoying the event and the accommodations. The food was really well done. The desserts we're tasty and the choices were good.
If I were going to JAX, it might be a decent location to stay at. The hotels near the river might be more scenic and also more expensive.

I wouldn't stay here unless it was a free stay, and even then, maybe not. Very thin walls. It is an ok place as far as being somewhat clean. Feels like they want to be fancy, but fall way short. I wouldn't eat at the restaurant again - apparently seared means battered and fried here. Did I mention the paper thin walls - hope you have quiet neighbors. Staff was so-so. My room was not visited by housekeeping for two days. There are better places to stay in my opinion.

If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around...

Proximity to the airport is nice, the shuttle is appreciated, rooms are big and clean, the pool looked fun (although I didn't go in it), but the absolute best thing about the hotel is its walking distance to a Waffle House (being from up north, we don't have a lot of them around).

5

Comfy bed, and a generally nice hotel. Room has some rough edges like chipping paint on door and some noise from adjacent rooms. Staff seems friendly. I really missed having a fridge and microwave in the room. Also, the breakfast buffet price of 14.95 seems expensive given that the variety of food available is relatively basic compared with other hotel buffets. I did have a breakfast voucher, but wouldn't have actually paid that given a Denny's across the street. Overall, not a bad stay but I probably wouldn't come back.

Nice hotel with a large selection of places to eat within minutes of the hotel and the airport is also just minutes away. Rooms are clean but not as new or nice as newer hotels like Hyatt Place but for the price it is a good deal.

Badly in need of an update. The first room smelled of sewer, changed rooms. The second room had a wet bed, changed rooms. (They originally tried to bring me a set of sheets so I could change them myself. -Really?) The third room was fine, just very dated looking. The hotel is in a convenient location and reception staff are very friendly. Keep the staff, remodel into this century, retrain your housekeeping, and you would probably have a nice hotel.

The hotel has a very pleasant presence. The layout is interesting and creative. The restaurant, internet cafe and beverage garden are all situated in a rather sophisticated manner, and the pool, which is both indoor and outdoor, is interesting and adds to the sophistication of the lounge area. Rooms are quietly pleasant as well and service in the restaurant is friendly.

Nice lobby. Staff very helpful. Had dinner at the restaurant one night and it was good. The rooms need updating and more sound proofing. My room was at the end of the hall by an exit door and I could hear people coming in and out of it all night. The exit door it self was slamming shut as well. Finding the entrance is tricky as well because it is tucked in behind another hotel.

It thought the room was pretty clean until I found a pair of fake eyelashes on the floor by the chair by the window. Bathroom was clean. Rooms do not have microwave or fridge, but you can get them if you ask for them. Has a small in door and outdoor pool, and a nice little fitness room. Breakfast is costly at something like 17 bucks. Has a bar and restaurant inside.

My military organization hosted a 4-day training event recently at the Crowne Plaza Jacksonville Airport. From our initial coordination with the hotel sales department, I was confident that our event would be a success. Kelly (Director of Sales and Marketing) was extremely helpful in all aspects of planning. Rachel (Meeting Director) made certain that the conference area was setup to meet our exact specifications. Josh (Banquet Manager) was attentive and helpful throughout the entire event. we were never lacking in supplies, coffee or comfort. The hotel was in great repair and all meeting rooms were fantastic. The hotel breakfast and lunches were excellent. I would recommend this hotel for any group or executive events.

This hotel is incredible! Two pools-one inside and one outside that are connected by an underwater tunnel that you can swim through! The food is incredible, whether you go to the breakfast buffet, the internet cafe, the lounge or if you get room service. We have done all four and it's been incredible! The staff here is excellent! Our room is beautiful! This is definitely one of the best hotels that I've ever stayed at! I would recommend it to anyone he was coming to the Jacksonville area!

Had a very nice stay, great service by Christopher, Rena, and Davarion (hope I spell his name right). My hubby and I stayed 3 nights for a family reunion with other family members. The hotel is spacious, welcoming,?with a dine in restaurant and bar. The breakfast is fantastic and so is the service. You will see people from all walks of life at this hotel. It was nice to see servicemen, pilots, airline stewardess, etc. plenty of restaurants less than a mile away. If you have bikes, go ridden the Baldwin Trail Rail which is 30 miles away but worth it. The bike trail is nice and offers some shady areas but mostly a nice 25 mile bike ride round trip. We would definitely stay here again.

Booking aren't was HORRIBLE and kept trying to sell more nights. No handicap parking available and we had to park on the back of the building and there is no sidewalk around the building. Had to haul 3 loads and 3 small children in the dark plus me in a wheelchair. Rude staff. They did bring up a refrigerator and crib. Room was very clean and modern and nicely wheelchair accessible.

Located right at the end of Duval street.
The hotel is nicely maintained, rooms are fresh, clean and undated. Beautiful heated pool and outdoor bar/ dining area but what makes the Pier House somewhat unique in Key West is it has its own private beach.

The kids wouldn't get out of the pool! I wish it would stay open till 11pm. And I wish they had a small breakfast stand or something... But other than that we all had fun! Kids watched the airplanes fly over the pool, but in the room can't hear them. Great place to sleep, quiet at night (or day). We asked for a rollaway bed, fridge and microwave - sure, was there within minutes free of charge! Wi-Fi, big screen TV, very good coffee in the room. Will be back for sure! Easy in and out back on rt 95.

The service was satisfactory. I'm not sure if it was because there was an indoor pool, it was right after the hurricane, or it's just Florida, but the hotel was very moist and humid. With the AC set at 67, it was still damp and warm, which made the bathroom smell a bit like pee and take over the room. I also felt like, for the cost of the room, hot breakfast should be a part of it and not part of a "package" (approx. $12.50/person). We had to pay a lot extra for one king instead of 2 queens, and the rooms don't have mini fridges.
The hotel was beautiful. The room was clean. My 2 yo sons breakfast was free. And they had an executive lounge down the hallway.

Horrible service. The room smells moldy. The floors in the hallways are dirty. Thw reataurant is a joke and the "cafe" hours are terrible. I have never been MORE furious with a hotel employee than I am with the guy at the front desk. He should not be allowed to interact with humans unless he is giving out parking violation tickets.
