We came here for our wedding anniversary and it was beyond what we expected!!! The woman who checked us in was very sweet. She upgraded us to a king room and gave us free breakfast buffet vouches. The room was beautiful and the bed was so comfy! Only disappointments that the tub didn't work so no bath. Pool area was nice but pool was cold sadly so took a bit to get used to it. The breakfast had a very good variety and dining area was nice. All in all, it was a great experience and I will suggest it to all of my friends and family.

Very nice atmosphere, was totally relaxed after my stay. The staff was kind and helpful and the rooms were clean. Will definitely go back when traveling in Sacramento. Make sure you go to the bar and don't miss the pool, hot tub and fitness center.

As soon as i walked in, i was greeted and taken care of by the employees. I was looking for my friends rooms and i was helped locating them. They made me feel safe and taken care of.

Barmaid Robyn is so prompt & courteous. Unfortunately, they changed their menu, discontinuing a fabulous Santa Fe Chicken Salad which was addictively good. The new menu lacks anything that even looks good to me. Please bring back your salads? I will give you five stars.

I had an amazing stay! I visited Sacramento with my boyfriend for 3 days, so I booked the room in Crowne Plaza and asked for a nice room at the highest level. I've got very nice and quiet room with the view on the pool. The rooms and bathroom were clean and nice. The bed was comfy too. AC kept us cool at day and night. We were located at 6 level close to the elevator. The hotel stuff was very nice and welcoming. Cleaning service visited the room every day. We were able to use swimming pool and Jacuzzi couple times! It was good, unfortunately there was bunch of kids/teenagers from school or something who occupied the whole pool area every night.
There was many food places, shop and gas station close to the hotel. It is next to the freeway so it was very convenient since we drive to Sacramento every day. Shortly, I would love to stay in Crowns Plaza again! We had very romantic and relaxing weekend. I recommend this hotel to everyone! :)

The Crowne seems like a very upscale hotel just from walking into the lobby. I like the high back seating chairs. Kind of like sitting on a thrown.

Their cafe is cozy and food is good. All non-alcohol liquids.

This hotel is decent for the price. The outside is dated and surrounded by the Ford plant; industrial area. The inside is nice. The pool is nice. The staff is nice.

I give this 5 star because you get a lot of hotel for the money and it is conveniently near multiple water parks. I wish breakfast was included but for the price I am not too concerned about it. The parking is limited though but there is parking at the adjacent parking lot. The shower head makes a nice warm shower stream.

Great, beautiful, big place. Rooms were very nice. Looked like a small studio apartment. Full kitchen, very nice bathroom. Was able to host a hospitality event inside the room. Was able to hold a Commanders Ball downstairs.

Some of the employees at the front desk are rude, and never refer you to the areas of interest ae. dining room or elevator. If you have a meeting there and you check out you can't go out to set by the pool. The dining room menu is too high. Menu limited. Food is good though Rooms are nice. Good on house management.

Looks like they're doing some remodeling, but the area surrounding the hotel is a little concerning... I'm not staying at the hotel, but utilizing the conference facilities. The bathrooms are clean. The facilities are adequate. If you're like me an get cold easily, being a jacket because the a/c works.

At first I didn't want to get a room because I just imagined it being filled with a bunch of senior citizens, no offense but the kind that just play Bingo and smoke a lot of cigarettes. But they have a lot of comps at hotels. I went and I was blown away at the grand entrance and the sound of the flowing water fountain not to mention the kitchen was to die for the calamari was outstanding and they had a salad that was just romantic. I would definitely go back there again the young lady that work there was gracious enough to upgrade our room for no reason at all. I thought that was very kind. However, when I went into the room it was great it was wonderful actually but I guess I just picked it apart too much. It's a really great place, but the only thing is that the hallways are really small so it made me feel like a midget and most of all I don't know why hotels lately have not been having a working fan in the bathroom to take out some of the moisture. On the other hand it's pretty nice cozy place I was in love with the business center and the heated pool couldn't ask for anything better for the money and the great food.

Clean . Spacious. Was only there for convention event so I didn't get a room, but ate at the restaurant. Overall more than decent.

One of the cleaner hotels I have stayed in during my business trip, but the rooms could use a little maintenance. The most obvious issue being the wallpaper. It appeared that every strip of wall paper was having a war with the wall and trying its best to remove itself. Almost every seam was beginning to curl away from the wall.

Aside from that I have nothing to complain about. I slept soundly and awoke to a breakfast buffet filled with variety. I managed to book this room on Expedia and got a voucher for 2 free breakfasts. Otherwise, the breakfast will be $19. However, it is certainly not a buffet that will disappoint. It came complete with hot and cold food items. But perhaps what I loved the most is that they had a lot of fruit in the buffet.

Super comfortable beds. Friendly hosts. The hot tub wasn't very warm and that's the only reason I didnt give it a 5 star.. The hotel is a very good price. No free breakfast but they do have a buffet next to the lobby inside the hotel. I believe it was about $14 per person. Kind of expensive but the selections and quality was pretty good.

Front of the House: the front waiting area and the ballroom are both BEAUTIFUL! The staff at front desk staff is professional, kind, and friendly.

Room: We had a king size bed and room. The room itself was large and open. There was an entertainment center with a small mini fridge. The fridge took us some time to find since it is behind the entertainment centers middle drawers.

The television worked. Our 2nd story view oversaw our vehicle which is was nice. The rooms cleaning staff were amazing meeting our requests and performing the expected duties.

Cons:

i understand this hotel is "of quality" meaning that they are currently revamping their image and updating rooms.

*The bed had some type of stain on it. It wasn't THAT type of stain but looked like food and was noticeable.

*The shower draining system was in the slow side giving a puddle of water at the base of the drain

*The walls had some patches done that were noticeable.

*There were a lot of homeless just riding their bikes around, hanging around, an not the good type of vagrants either we had one lady talking to herself laughing menacingly in the parking lot. I know this isn't something the hotel can control directly but it's something to think about.

*The pool is NOT inside only. The picture we seen has the impression it is indoor. It's definitely not. It has one end tucked into a corner with a roof. It is still exposed to te outside elements

Pros:

*the value. It's definitely worth it's price. It's no Hilton but it fits us and our budget.

*location is fantastic! My wife and I had business in the downtown area. It was nice missing most of the weekday traffic and making it to the convention center in 12 minutes on a Monday.

*the room size. It was perfect for us.

*the bed washed comfortable. Me and my wife have difference in preferences when it comes to firmness. It solved the our worries well. My wife and I typically bring our own blankets to lay on so the bed sheet wasn't too much of a problem.

Bottom line:

We would stay here again.

Decent place, but just a bit dated and run down for the price. The beds are soft, but heavily worn (sag towards the middle pretty badly). The breakfast is extremely over-priced at $17 for a buffet style with nothing special. The staff is nice and helpful, and there is plenty of parking. All in all I probably would choose to stay somewhere else, but would go with Crowne in a bind.

I recently stayed here on the sixth floor in a single king room and I had a good relaxing stay. Rooms closer to the freeway are louder since you can hear traffic. The furniture, bed, and bathroom are modern contemporary and in good shape. Bed was comfortable with great sheets and pillows. The restaurant served decent to good quality meals depending on what you order. Avoid the chicken parmesan at all costs! The burgers here are good and I would definitely recommend to try their mushroom swiss. The bar makes good drinks or you can get beer. This is a good hotel to stay at as a local and as a visitor.

Check in was easy. Concierge Service were so nice and could not do enough to help make your stay enjoyable. They went above and beyond. Bed was ever so comfortable. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Wallpaper is starting to peel throughout the room. Fixtures coming off the walls. Heating and cooling unit is not very good, either really hot or really cold. Rooms are musty as well. The front desk is a hit or miss with being helpful and polite. The food is not good stopped eating there, breakfast is below average, and service at the restaurant is extremely slow.

Crowne Plaza Sacramento Northeast is where the old restaurant Aces was. It is next to the Capitol City Freeway. I stayed in a compact king, which was the perfect size. The bed, pillows, and bed sheets were so very comfortable. It was very quiet in the room, even with the freeway visible from the window. The shower worked great. Everything was stocked. The staff was very friendly, even those in passing.

Stayed here for a night with my family. The rooms were outdated, the wallpaper was peeling, there was rusting on the bathroom door. The walls were extra thin so we could here our neighbors tv and talking. We used the hot tub and that was nice. I wouldn't say it was the worst hotel but definitely didn't live up to the Crowne Plaza name. I wouldn't stay here again.

Attended a company christmas party in one of the ballrooms. Food was delicious. Ballroom was clean and festive. Employees were pleasant and professional. Bathrooms were clean, modern, and smelled good.

Stayed here because my first, second and third choice hotels were booked. It's clear why this is not my preferred place. It's just worn out, beaten up and sad. The early AM front desk guy was rude and awful. The drapes in my room are literally shredded - they look like they are rotted from the sun or a cat attacked them. The desk was once wood but is chipped up painted and the many layers of paint are sticky. I'm kind of embarrassed to be here.

Freeway noise is bad. The parking lot is dingy. On the up side, at least it's close to my office and there's a Starbucks a block away!

Great hotel experience, friendly staff. The only downside with the crowne plaza hotels are that breakfast isn't included with the lower rate rooms. If you do decide to have breakfast there still the food is great and I do recommend ordering of the menu. Large portions and tons of flavor.

This place is contemporary and comfortable. It's near Citrus Heights, so it's about 12 miles or approximately 20 min outside the downtown Sacramento area. The front desk staff was nice as well. I had a small room, which was the one I selected at a discount price. I was comfortable but it's near a major freeway so you do hear all the cars. They've put ear plugs in the room for that reason, I assume. Perhaps someone else has made that comment before. Overall, nice place to stay.

I was there for A Senior Health Fair. The facility is easily accessible. The room we were in accommodated my scooter with no problem and the bathroom was also accessible. They had a little entertainment going on, but I didn't see a ramp to get to the area. All in all it was a good experience.

Great location close to 80 and area amenities. Not noisy at all considering how close it sits to the freeway. Be sure to check your room carefully. Ours was a mess - garbage, broken furniture, loose toilet seat.

The place was nice & the fountain was lovely in the lobby. The wake up call at 5 by the fire alarm was unexpected though! Coffee pot is kept in the bathroom.......weird. Overall not a bad place to stay.

This is a nice place. My first time here and I'm here for a week on business. The only issue I have is they don't have a microwave in the room. It would be great to heat any leftovers up so I don't have to go out every night for dinner.

Really friendly staff, asked why we were in town (attending a friend's wedding) and asked us how it went when we returned for the night. Even the room service who was getting ready to clean our room The next morning was super friendly. The room was nice and a perfect place for my sister and I to spend the night. WOW!!! I've stayed at a lot of hotels. But none have been this nice for a price anywhere close to this. It Smells and looks clean, the staff are super friendly, everything looks brand new and the did I mention, the price was wonderful. Parking is plentiful, pool is nice, restaurant on site and, depending on where your room is, you could end up with a very quiet room. TV was having issues and had no sound or was choppy, but I don't actually watch tv, so it was no loss. Highly recommend.

The conference room was well appointed with fresh coffee and water provided throughout the presentation. The seats were moderately comfortable, though extended periods of sitting could become uncomfortable. The room itself was large enough to accommodate the group of 23 attendees but the room was cooled to 69°, which was too cold for the exterior weather and related attire, which was over 100°. The staff was responsive, professional, and cheerful.

I really enjoy this hotel especially the rooms. It's comfortable and I love that they put 4 pillows on one bed. The customer service their has improved tremendously! They are very professional, helpful and attentive. The staff at the bar remembers us every time and we stay here at least once every 3 months. Great buffets breakfast, fully filled and the lady who watches over this area is quick to replace anything that is running low. The pool area is nice and the kids loved it!

The staff is friendly but the building is need of a some maintenance and upgrading. The room was comfortable but was missing stuff you would except in a room like a clock. The house cleaning staff need to learn to clean better, our room floor was in need of a vacuuming. Overall this would not be my first choice in a hotel if I need to stay in the area.

Very nice hotel. There is wallpaper in all the room so any time there was a repair needed you could easily see patch marks in the wallpaper and it was all pealed back on the edges in the bathroom. The internal restaurant and bar was very good and priced well. The hotel was very clean and nice. The location was great for us and the price was great compared to other places.

The decor was nice, neat and clean. There was great customer service and staff was very pleasant. A great hotel, a great deal!

Great place for the price. Clean room, fresh view of northern sac area. They upgraded me for no extra charge and they were very hospitable. There is a restaurant in the building and a breakfast buffet that is pretty good if you have a family.

Comfortable, great location. Can be noisy if you aren't good with traffic and end up up that side of the building.
Fantastic gym and pool. Hot tub jets don't really work.

Room was a nice size for first floor. I was extremely happy they allowed dogs. They were there for my family and I when we had to evacuate due to flood risks. Also a pretty decent breakfast. Preeeety close to a 5 out of 5.

Gigi helped check us in and was incredibly friendly and responsive. She was helping another couple in front of us and took time to acknowledge when we stepped into the line. She was very attentive and offered everyone complimentary beverages upon checking in.

We love this place because the service is wonderful from the front desk,to room service,and restaurant, bar tenders, & security in the parking lot. They have gone above & beyond to make our stay comfortable. We will differently be back.

This hotel is quite secluded from the rest of Sacramento and is a little older, but has very modern and beautiful designs. The rooms are comfortable and the restaurant inside offers good meals at a decent price. Restrooms were clean and hotel staff was very friendly.

Everything was clean and organized. The food and drinks were great. The rooms were very clean. Would come back.

Everything was great except the poor planning of the restaurant. There was a wedding party and sports teams at the hotel, yet somehow they did not anticipate a large crowd for the breakfast buffet. They had a hostess, bartender, and one chef trying to keep up. Long wait for tables to be bussed and for buffet to be replenished. Luckily we had a late game. I think the hotel was hoping the sports teams would leave early and not actually eat at the buffet.

This was the fourth year in a row that the company Christmas Party has been held there. I love this place and can't wait to get back. Everyone there is really awesome and goes out of there way to make your stay incredible. I would recommend the Crown Plaza to everyone.

Clean sheets, good customer service, quiet, and reasonable price. There needs to be more privacy with the swimming pool. It's between the lobby and the hotel rooms, glass door and windows, so you'll be in constant display. The Templespa toiletry is good quality

The service was great, super fast check in and directions to our room. Rooms were nice, and if you like a firm bed this place is for you. Continental breakfast was decent, but hey free Bacon is nothing to complain about. Would stay again.

Location was ok but very close to the freeway. There were several bugs in the room including one in the bed. There was also a towel hanging on the back of the bathroom door when we arrived. The air conditioner was very noisy and it took a while to cool the room down. But the sheets were clean and the shower had excellent water pressure overall it was a comfortable night.

Hotel is decent, recent renovations of the ballroom area are nice, the hotel rooms need some touch up work in a few areas but are fairly well maintained for their age. Restaurant/bar is pretty good food for reasonable prices, although not open very late for their bar. Overall would stay when going to events at the hotel but wouldn't go out of my way to stay here.

This hotel seemed on the run-down side of descent. In our room, the wall paper was torn and peeling at the seams, and the carpet was stained. The bed was comfortable, however. Our friend's room was not quite as visibly run down. The hallways are narrow and long and it took forever to get to and from the lobby. Also, the single elevator was very small. The lobby was nice looking, and the desk was accommodating to a room change need that our party had.

This was an older hotel trying to look nicer than it was. In some ways, it worked and was nice. Nice lobby and furnishings.... but the rooms were older, walk paper coming off the wall a bit, etc. It's cheaper than most so it's worth it. Don't expect a 4 star hotel, this is 3 or less.

The service at this hotel is superb. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotel has an amazing lobby for a hotel outside of the city.

I stayed here after going to the aftershock music festival. Very clean, soft beds, and great amenities. I would definitely come back here.
