Great hotel. They have renovated the hotel and the staff is all new and under new ownership. A great choice.

The rooms were neat and clean. There was a free continental breakfast, but it was terrible. Food was either undercooked or frozen. The first room they gave us was already occupied! The channel selection on the TV was non existant, bad for my 6 year old. All in all, a fine place for an overnight.

Definitely not a five-star hotel! But our mattress looked brand new our room was decent! Passed the bedbug test! Only complains is the walls are kind of thin. Staff was very friendly housekeeping very friendly! Didn’t get to make breakfast but from the noise we heard coming from everyone sounded pleased and enjoying themselves!

Just came home from a weekend in Mystic and stayed at this Days Inn. I have zero complaints. We got there much earlier than expected and were able to check in early. The woman at the front desk (Grace) was kind and gracious. Our stay was exactly what we wanted. The room was nice and clean, plenty of towels, great pool and very nice and helpful staff. We will be back!!!!

I have stayed at this hotel many times. After finding cockroaches in the bathroom two separate days in two separate rooms within one week, and bringing it to the attention of the manager, akash, I was told I am No longer welcome at the hotel. I thought it was a nice place to stay, I was wrong. Go somewhere else. Tim, Grace, and Joel at the front desk are all wonderful, but the manager/owner is not professional.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The wi-fi was very spotty at best, but the was upfront about that as well. Some fruit at breakfast would've been nice. Room was nice and clean....

My family and I stayed there. We booked two rooms. Very affordable compared to the other hotels in the area. It was great! If you’re visiting Mystic. This is the place to stay.

We attended a show at Foxwoods and had to head to Rhode Island for Easter the next day so we didn't want to add to our drive. The place is in a good area with some restaurants close by. The drive to foxwoods is only about 20 minutes on back roads. The hotel manager was very nice. The rooms are what you would expect. Aside from some rust in the bathtub near the drain, the room was clean. There was a leftover container of food in the microwave that I had to throw out. The doors are paper thin and do not block out any noise from the hallways. There must be a lot of dogs staying here as the grass around the enterance doors is mostly dog poop. Despite the small details I would gladly stay here again for the price.

I will be honest it is dated but it is clean! All the ppl who work no serve you are so nice and they really care. For a little place it sure packs a punch. Now this isn't a full service hotel but I felt at home and we'll taken care of! Stayed 7 days with my spouse.

Needs better pillows...n should have better cleaning. A remodeling would be great. Specially the bathrooms. Employees are great and very attentive. Doors are loud so hard to get a good rest. Rooms are a decent size. Breakfast was nice.

This is a very quiet, clean, hotel. The price was great, shower nice and hot, clean towels and bedding. TV reception was great, wifi (free) worked great. The windows opened which is good because I like some fresh air when I sleep! Bed is comfortable! This is a good place to stay if you want peace and quiet! No bar, no nightclub, no restaurant but there are plenty in the area. You can get take out, delivery or go for a nice sit down dinner. Really good for a good night's sleep, in a no frills, clean hotel.

7

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The rooms were a bit older and in halls there was a slight smoke smell. The room was clean and the bed and pillows were actually pretty comfortable. It was one of the only places available last minute in Mystic and it's in the heart of the town being less than a mile from the aquarium, olde Mystic, and the seaport. The price was decent but it is by no means a Hilton. I would go back for an overnight stay.

Great experience! The price was great. The room was clean. The shower with the different settings was fantastic. There is nothing like a nice warm shower at the end of driving all day. The staff was very helpful. I would highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel was very clean and the price couldn't be beat. The front desk help was awesome. They were always more than helpful getting us anything we needed and gave us great ideas for places to eat. The only thing was I wish the Continental breakfast had a little more variety. But it was free so I really cant even complain about that. Overall one of our best hotel experiences we have had. We will definitely be back. And we definitely recommend it

7

Easy to get to, quiet and clean. Our room was good and contained a refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave, and hair dryer. I liked the sink outside the bathroom as it does not get steamed up and is always accessible. The sink faucet was plumbed oddly. Hot water was very hot. Breakfast was very basic, English muffins, bagel, bread, hard eggs, yogurt, waffle maker, cold cereal, juice machine and hot beverage. The set up with the waffle maker at the end of a straight line counter created a long lineup to get anything. There is another toaster in the other room.

Comfy beds but pretty dated rooms and bathrooms. Clean rooms. Did not try out amenities. Plenty of parking. Continental breakfast is sparse. No gluten free options.

Deposite the people who left terrible reviews I decided to take the risk and so glad I did !! Loved me and my mom's short stay here. The room was typical small town dated but it was clean and the people who they staff where very helpful. Breakfast hours are from 6-9 which is early but it works to get your day started. Waffles, English muffins, mini bagles, mini assorted muffins, frosted flakes, yogurt, cream cheese, butter, jellies, but most importantly COFFEE! Great for grabbing on the go. Room had working mini fridge where we stashed our water bottles, microwave, cable TV, and a sitting area by large bright window. Hair dryer, iron and room safe were a plus as well. Located right off the main highway and about 25 minutes from Mohegan sun casino . For a cheap bite there is a McDonald's 10 min walking distance and a nice steak place is u want to sit and relax . Overall I would def go back !

I was very skeptical about booking this hotel because of the reviews but the room was very nice, the beds were comfortable with extra pillows! everything was clean, the pool was nice. My only issue was it was really hot out and the AC had not been turned on in the room and it took a while for it to get cool but once it did it was nice. I would defiantly stay here again the price was good and its located right near everything!

It got the job done to rest, but the hotel felt run down. The bathroom door couldn't close all the way, and no one was at the front desk for almost 10 minutes when we tried to check in. Seemed like the employee was helping a guest in their room and were by themselves.

There are better hotels in Mystic for just a few more bucks.

Great location. Mystic is a fun place to visit, and the hotel is close to everything. Beds are comfortable and staff are friendly. I took off a star only because I feel the facility could be updated, but the stay was still enjoyable.

Not only do they price match at the counter for websites, bed was very comfortable and everything you need in a hotel. Chris at the front desk was amazingly helpful and awesome! The husband and I would come back just to get his excellent service! Very local to all attractions, gas and yes, Dunkin' Donuts. 😉

The hotel is definitely a 3 star hotel. The room had a small bathroom and needed to be updated but it was clean. What made me mad was breakfast ended at 9 am. We woke up early for it and it was just basic breakfast.

Standard value hotel. Needs updating for outdated furnishings. For example, only the channel down button worked on our remote for the TV. Service was ok, not great but also not terrible

Decent parking & staff is nice. It is a 2 star hotel so it's pretty basic. Good price & fairly clean. WiFi, Small TV, fridge & microwave are all in the room. Continental breakfast as well. Not bad if you looking for something simple.

The breakfast was very good they had a waffle maker and a fridge stocked with yogurt. The only downside is the room I stayed in smelled a little damp but it wasn't really that bad.

5

For the price it isn't all that bad. Yes, the building is on the older side and the rooms are basic. But the location is great, right off the highway and quite close to the aquarium. It's also only a short drive to the seaport. We stayed one night with a 7yo and 2yo and it was fine. They actually loved the outdoor pool which was quite nice.

If you keep the low price in mind it's a really good option.

We spent two nights at the Days Inn in Mystic. The location is right off the highway almost a quarter mile from the exit. Although it looks OK from the outside, I was surprised to see trash thrown about including trash bags, cigarette butt and beer cans in the parking area, and on the lawn near our room - A little disappointing.

When we arrived we checked in and my wife was told by the desk that the room key for our room was tricky. It basically didn't work and we quickly switched rooms. We were given a different room, and we're able to get in just fine.

The room itself was clean and neat. The decor was a little dated but nothing that effected our stay and the room had two Queen beds. Great for our family of four.

One of the bright spots was the pool! Super clean and not too crowded. The bathroom could use a little fixing up.

The room came with a continental breakfast the kids loved this because you can make your own waffles! What kid doesn't want to make their own waffles (supervision required). They were tasty and the coffee was good. Get there early, it gets very crowded.

We were headed to Misquamicut Beach in Rhode Island for two days and the hotel was inexpensive and close 20-25 minutes with no traffic. It's right outside of the Mystic Seaport area. You can walk and it's a nice way to see the town. I walked downtown to downtown Mystic in about 30-40 minutes. You could walk to the Seaport in about 20 (5 minute drive).

Overall I would say you can't beat this place for the price or location. We stayed during the week and the rates were pretty low. If the outside appearance was cleaned up a little better I would have given it 3 1/2 to 4 stars for the price. I would recommend the Days Inn - Mystic if you are looking for an inexpensive place to stay near Mystic, CT, Watch Hill, RI or Misquamicut Beach.

Unlike many of the complaints from people that probably are chronic complainers, we enjoyed the place. After reading some of the negative reviews, we were concerned so decided to drop by early just in case we needed to cancel and move on. Wow! were we surprised. Joey the Manager was very friendly and even let us check in early since we arrived before 3 pm. The property was very clean, including our room and most importantly the bathroom. The King size bed was very comfortable. Also enjoyed the continental breakfast and met a nice young man keeping the area clean. This was not a lavish hotel by any means, but for the $53.00 weekday rate we had, this place was a perfect fit. Close to so many tourist attractions and easy access off of the Interstate in a nice safe location. Yes we will stay there again.

Was pleasantly surprised! The room was very clean, it was quiet at night time. The pool was in great shape. There was a good choice of Breakfast items & the staff were pretty helpful .... My only complaint was a bumpy pillow. Bring your own! ;-)
