ISO 14001

ISO 14001 is an internationally accepted standard that outlines how to put an effective environmental management system in place. It is designed to help businesses remain commercially successful without overlooking environmental responsibilities, such as:

• Improve their environmental performance constantly
• Comply with local and national regulations and other requirements subscribed
• Prevent water, air and ground pollution hazards
• Control and optimise water and energy consumption
• Promote waste recycling and recovery
• Raise environmental awareness among employees and train them to adopt good practices in their activity

ISO 50001 provides a framework of requirements for organizations to:
- Develop a policy for more efficient use of energy
- Fix targets and objectives to meet the policy
- Use data to better understand and make decisions about energy use
- Measure the results
- Review how well the policy works, and
- Continually improve energy management.

I have nothing to complain about. The staff was friendly. I actually spent very little time in the hotel but the time I did spend was decent. Ample parkj g quiet overall.

Average Doubletree. My floor (4) and room were a bit musty. No complaints. Delicious cookies! Pleasant staff.

Convenient location, close to the highway, comfy beds, and beautiful rooms! Stopped in while traveling on a long road trip and needed to park my car with u haul trailer in tow. Important to note, they do not have parking that can accommodate a trailer! They were kind and managed to find a way to squeeze in my rig, though. Great customer service!

A fine hotel with a pool, a bar, and free parking. Clean room and fine facilities. Nothing luxe about it, but nothing worn either. Friendly staff. Nice location for Devil’s Den, maritime aquarium, etc. Good value.

The staff was very friendly and courteous. The rooms were clean and spacious. The room TV's could stand to be updated. They have a Tesla and a J1772 electric car charging station. Both are free.

Great hotel with lovely rooming options. I best feature of this place is the fact that they have sports bar feel. The location was perfect because you are not to far from the highway so traffic is not an issue.

I love the front desk staff. My church hosts service here, and the front desk is always so warm and welcoming. Not to mention those cookies. Hopefully after this review they'll have my dozen waiting for me this Sunday.

Everything about the stay was great! Rooms were clean and updated, staff was really nice and helpful, shuttle service was great and responsive when we needed pickup, pool was fine, check in/out was easy. All in all great stay, would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place with easy access to South Norwalk.

I would have given this place 1 star because we checked in yesterday and it was an extremely hot day and it felt as though the a.c. was not working at all. We had to change rooms because the first room we got was unbearable. I gave them 4 stars because of the customer service and the cleanliness. Which I think are very important factors for any hotel. Would I visit again? I am not certain.

I'd like to thank Marion who went above and beyond for me when I returned home from my trip to CT. I needed an itemized receipt from restaurant and lost it and she went out of her way to track it down. She was kind and happy to help me get what I need. Thank you, Marion, for being such a kind person.

We started here because we got a good deal on Priceline. We got a cheap room for a cheap price. They either took all of the broken furniture (including a broken handle on a very thin bathroom door) or there was a huge party in that particular room recently and they hadn't had time to fix ANYTHING yet. Either way, that room was atrocious! For close to $200 a night normally, I do expect more.

I've been going,to this hotel for 10 years now. Very friendly service, very good food, and clean rooms. The price can be on the high side depending on the time of year but the convenience is typically worth it.

The rooms were a bit tired but for $100/night, it was a fair deal. Staff was nice. It was pretty busy and loud in the late night hours as other guests who were there for an event, perhaps a wedding, were a bit loud in their in-room after parties but it wasn't so loud that it was a major complaint. Solid location, plenty of parking and a good deal for $100 per night.

The hotel is nice and inviting. The people at the counter are very polite. My biggest issue is that one of the beds was off of the frame and if my child were to fall off the bed the injury would be devastating.

Overall we really enjoyed the experience. LOVE the cookies as always with DoubleTree Hotels. Marion at the Front Desk was very helpful. The only thing is the facade and parking area in the back are a little old. And the foundation of the Hotel is a little worn to, love the style but the foundation(walls, ceilings, door lambs, etc) are old and you can see it.

Pretty central location in Norwalk. Kinda worn down and hasn't been updated in a while. Nice, indoor pool but it's also a little dingy. Bed was comfortable, room alright. Nothing amazing. Love the chocolate chip cookie at the greeting.

Family rented a reception area and the service provided was great. Staff was attentive to the party and the rooms were given at a good rate. Rooms were big spacious and clean. Felt very cozy for 4 adults to share a room with 2 queen beds. Good water pressure, hot shower, great bar.

Nice clean DT. Good staff at the restaurant in the morning but bar was very crowded in the evening. Had to wait forever to get a drink or to give an order. Small gym and you have to be too early or late to get a machine. Noisy ac. Friendly staff throughout the property.

Service was pretty good. Got warm cookies upon check in, and the front desk staff was courteous. The rooms were clean, and had a coffee pot. I didn't realize when I booked that there wouldn't be any refrigerator or microwave available, which was unfortunate as I usually use these. Got the hotel room with added breakfast (It's not complimentary). The first day, breakfast was fine. Wide food selection, and the staff was great. Second morning, they didn't even look at us, offer coffee, or clear any plates until the very end.

Hotel feels dated, but it covers the essentials and our stay was smooth. Average rating for a average hotel. The lack of minifridge and bathroom fan we're probably the most annoying.

I was there for a meeting. The woman at the front desk was friendly and helpful in guiding me to the right room. The room itself was clean and set up comfortably. The food set out was fresh and tasty as was the coffee service. We were also served a delicious lunch that was set up quietly without disturbing us and the waiters were also very nice. A very good experience.

Rooms are outdated but fine. Bathroom was dark, but had good water pressure, very nice towels and supplies. Nice TV in room with some options for on demand viewing. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Staff was pleasant. Pool was nice, but had kids there for private lessons late afternoon / early evening on a weekday.

Much potential, but it could be better with competent management. My room was clean but the lamps all had dented and beat-up lampshades. The windows were surprisingly dirty, something I have never encountered at other Hilton properties. Executive Lounge offerings were rather thin in the evening. The first day the lounge was overcrowded at breakfast and I opted for the restaurant buffet. The second day the lounge was closed for the weekend. I had to ask the front desk staff for vouchers for the restaurant - I felt they should have included them when I checked in, as they knew I would be there on a day when the lounge was closed. Details like the lamp shades, the windows, and advance planning by the desk staff are all things that make the difference between a "blah" stay and a great stay. A change in management would be an improvement.

This hotel is worth a look if the price is below $100. Any more than that and you won't be getting what you are paying for.

Checking in and out was seamless. The room was very clean and we'll stocked (towels, soap, etc). The pool are was very nice but there was only 1 towel. I loved that HBO was included in the room rate. The hotel was minutes away from SoNo. Only complaint is the lack of activities in the area for children.

This is definitely a business travelers hotel. Staff is very friendly, and they habe all the accommodations you could ever need. My only problem I encountered was my A.C. not working and they fixed it very quickly but it kept breaking. They did offer to move me to a new room. The Room I was in was very small but it wasn't a deal breaker for me.

It's a decent hotel and overall a good place to stay for business. But has a few unavoidable quirks... Loud old heater/ac units, unpredictable water pressure, squirrely WiFi. Wouldn't want to hang out at this hotel all day long, but great location and amenities for a few nights.

I had reserved five rooms at this hotel, and had some very specific requests as to room configuration and location. I called a week in advance and spoke with Jill, a Front Desk Manager. Jill was extremely helpful and efficient, and was able to honor my requests. She did this with extreme professional. When I called a few days in advance (from the Caribbean) to make sure we were still on track, she remembered me and confirmed everything we had discussed days earlier. Finally, when we arrived at the hotel (with each of us checking in at different times) all was exactly as requested. Jill did a great job, and I am happy to have this opportunity to recognize her fine work. I definitely recommend this hotel based on our successful stay.

Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are in pretty good condition, but some seem to be a bit more worn than others. I love the option to park in a garage and that there are car rentals on-site. Gym is smaller but we'll furnished with well kept machines, weights, and resistance equipment. Restaurant food is fair with some dishes better than others.

Comfortable rooms, enjoyed the provided snacks, easy access to I95 and Route 1. Pretty much had the indoor pool to ourselves. Shower head is pretty low, though. Temperate control seemed touchy as well. However the hotel staff were concerned for the pleasure of our stay, which was a nice touch.

Very nice rooms, great breakfast available, but it's not free. The parking lot is very dark due to the lack of lighting. Getting in and out of the parking lot can be a pain if there is a lot of traffic as well. They also have a restaruant on site that provides some pretty good food.

I've been coming to this hotel for years and I swear I have stayed in almost every room. The staff is nice. The food from room service, though a bit expensive is very good. However, there is a big difference in quality between the rooms on the executive floors and those below the 7th floor.
Example, the rooms on 7 & 8 seemed to be very well taken care of, no blemishes on the walls or floors. You get a nice cotton robe...really nice. There is a plush bathmat on the bathroom floor. Most rooms Ive stayed in on 7 & 8 have a sitting area with a sleeper sofa and a large round table. However, rooms on the lower floors...my room this week for example...there is only a single arm chair, the A/C wall thermostat doesn't work, one of the closet doors is missing, the receptacles on the desk lamp don't work, the base of the tv is crack so it sits at an off angle and the ice machine on this particular floor sure does make a lot of racket.
So that being said, pay the little extra and get on the executive floors.
