The hotel was under renovation so there were things that weren't finished. The breakfast was lacking in choices. Even with these things the staff was really nice and it really wasnt that bad of an overnight stay.

We stayed here on a Monday night. The room was very clean, the staff was nice. We asked for a bottom floor room because we'd been driving and we're exhausted. The clerk happily made the accommodations for us. The room was $80 plus tax for a double.

Nice little room. No bugs at all, thank god. Nice size t.v and room. A.c so great. Bathroom clean. Fridge, microwave, and coffee maker clean. Staff is very nice and friendly smiles. Bed sheets nice, I would recommend bring some pillows but not bad. I do recommend this hotel than the Days inn. The Days in one room had dog mess in 4 different areas. Then the second room has beg bugs. I don't recommend that place next door. If u looking for hotel with pool this hotel doesnt have one and Days inn does have one but its very green and it hasnt been cleaned. So stay here if u just want a place to rest and be very comfortable.

Most amazing management and staff. Hotel is very clean and comfortable. We go to Kings Dominion all the time and we stay here which is 6 miles away rather than stay at the resort right next to kings dominion because they are rude, dirty and do not have towels or ever clean rooms. We stayed here Saturday night. My hubby doesn't allow us to stay in hotels that aren't at least a 4 star hotel. We've never seen a Econo Lodge that was high than a 3 star. However, we had driven all day with major traffic and several accidents, a terrible storm, and after spending a 10 days of traveling. We finally had enough and found this hidden gem. The family who runs this place is so sweet and accommodating! The room was very clean, bug free, and comfy. Yes it's an old hotel, but they have done some updates. If you are expecting a ritzy place, gourmet breakfast, and a luxurious pool this is not the place for you. But if you're looking for a clean, friendly, safe, comfortable, good priced, and a quick and simple grab-and-go breakfast then this IS the place to stay. I gave it 5 stars because of all those things. Thank you Econo Lodge for a restful, safe night! We will be back.

The lady at the front desk was very nice and professional. It almost felt just like home. Clean and comfortable. Everything in roomed worked perfectly as expected.

This hotels rooms are spacious comfortable and clean. The staff is extremely courteous and helpful and very professional. It's very quiet no drugs. The maid service here actually cleans the rooms. There's a refrigerator in the room and a big flat screen TV with direct TV and a wide variety of very good channels. They offer a complimentary breakfast with juces toast cereal and other things.Me and my wife have stayed at other more expensive hotels in this area and this hotel makes them look bad. If you're looking for a get away or working or just a room for the night. I would highly recommend it.

This is my second time coming when visiting the area and it was a very comfortable stay. The staff were very professional yet friendly! No complaints.

The room was freshly painted and was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and there were NO BUGS. The people at the front desk were very kind and the price was right. Much better than the Days Inn next door.

after a headache full of problems cause my car broke down and traveling with 2 children I went econo lodge and as soon as I walked in the young man was kind and inviting so after freezing outside cause of the car incident we went into the room and immediately turned on the heat and were warm in no time in the morning I went to get breakfast for my children who were still sleeping the lady let me know if I need anything for my children when they wake up let her know so of course after they woke up I did and she was so nice and quick to get what I needed after conversating with her and letting her know about my situation she was very positive and helpful and beyond friendly I would definitley recommend this place to stay I personally think customer service and how you interact with people is very important and prefer to give my money to people that appreciate me and my business the room was descent and clean internet was fast and had everything i needed microwave fridge hairdryer cable and the price was good and the bed was so comfy thank you so much for a pleasant experience :)

I thought it was a good place to stay for a night but they could use new carpet and a bigger lobby for continental breakfast but to sup for a quick rest it's not bad

Econo Lodge is a great location if you're visiting Kings Dominion. They have great Wi-Fi, fridges and microwaves, a small breakfast, nice tv's, and really nice beds. The downside would be the bathrooms, our shower was tiny and the drain was very rusted. The pillows were very flat so if you like fluffy pillows you might want to bring your own. In the end I would stay there again.

Nice quiet location. Freindly hotel staff and the rooms were spacious and very clean. We spent the weekend at Kings Dominion and this motel is less than 10 minutes away. For the price, it was worth it !

Arrived at 3 am needing to sleep a few hours before continuing my trip. It sered it's purpose but the bed wasn't the best, the pillows were flat and the heat in the room had no control. Had to get up & turn it off manually.

Awsome great service employees were super nice it could use some updating but awesome I would totally come again but also the wifi did not work for all my devices I had but u should stay here. PS:free breakfast!

The stay wasn't bad for the cheap price

I haven't stayed here, but I deliver pizza here all the time. This is a low end hotel. If you want something nice, the only decent option is the Comfort Inn down the road. Or don't stay in Carmel Church. If you want cheap, this'll probably do.

I am staying at the econo lodge now and I don't have no problems with it the rooms are nice the people are nice and there are no bed bugs.

After a long drive in congested traffic we were ready to stop for the night. Front office staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean, comfortable and safe. Quiet area as well for a Friday night, which was welcome after being in Washington traffic for hours. Nice hotel at the right price, would stay here again.

You know the drill. 4 types hotels. Bottom end. 40-50 a night. Very bad. Level 2 is similar but cleaner and better maintained. 50-70 a night. That's what this place is. Level 2. Older beds, bedding and furniture. Old carpet but clean. Old towels but clean. You get what you pay for.
