• Improve their environmental performance constantly
• Comply with local and national regulations and other requirements subscribed

ISO 50001 provides a framework of requirements for organizations to:

- Fix targets and objectives to meet the policy
- Use data to better understand and make decisions about energy use
- Measure the results
- Review how well the policy works, and
- Continually improve energy management.

Great hotel for events! Just attended a beautiful wedding there.
Location is right across the street from a mall - which is impressive since Charleston as a whole is rather isolated.

Amenities include pool, gym, and complimentary breakfast featuring made to order omelets and pancakes (which was very exciting) however unfortunately the rest of the breakfast options were below expectations

Staff was all very friendly from guest services to the incredibly busy omelet chef

All rooms come as suites (bedroom + living room) but rooms overall were average with dim lighting

Extra points for having complimentary toothbrush and toothpaste though!!

Great hotel for events. I have attended many events that include a food buffet. Food is very good and service is excellent. Rooms are very spacious and clean. You can valet or park in the parking garage (cheaper). There NYE party is a lot of fun! Book early for the NYE event.

Great place to stay. Everything was up to par. Missed the evening dinner, but the breakfast was fantastic. Room was nice and cold when arrived. The mall was a quick walk to. The only thing that was a drawback was that parking was confusing.

Adam greeted us with a warm smile as we checked in and was very helpful in answering all our questions and making suggestions.
We we're not satisfied with our first room as the air didn't seem to be working properly but Adam was quick to give us another room which was cooler and air working.
The rooms were clean and up to date and the bed was comfortable.
Upon checking out Barry and Liz were very kind and informative in weather and traffic for our trip.
Overall our experience was very positive and we would stay there again.

This Hilton hotel is a nice place to stay. 8 floors of hotel rooms. The rooms are nicely decorated and have nice amenities. You can get free breakfast as well as free evening snacks at the lobby/atrium.

Grandmother, daughter, and granddaughter road trip from Cincinnati! We checked in late and were tired. The front desk man, Chris was amazing! Made us laugh and accommodated our needs. The room was very clean, beds are WONDERFUL, plus having the mini suite for those not ready for bed is great! Awesome breakfast too!

Rooms are clean, service is very prompt and friendly. The breakfast is pretty decent, though it gets busy. The pool area was fairly nice, though we didn't spend much time in it (tons and tons of kids, not the hotel's fault). Bed was very comfortable and all in all, an enjoyable stay.

Kind of dated as far as styling goes, but the rooms are very spacious and comfortable.. and the breakfast is great as well.
It's a big place, and the atrium with the water features is pretty cool.
I would stay here again.

Excellent amenities and service! Breakfast was delicious. Social hour was fun. Housekeeping is on top of their game! Parking garage is not super convenient but love that it was included in the room and allowed me to stretch my legs at arrival and departure.

Loved our stay! The rooms are nice and the kids loved the pool and hot tub!! Definitely will be staying again!! The only bad part is no free WiFi and parking is behind the hotel plus 13$ to park your vehicle! You would think parking would be free considering how pricey the rooms are!

Good people here. Nice rooms.
Decent bar and good bartenders.
Thumbs down on the parking.
Also rooms not cleaned on a daily basis unless you call. That's sad for an Embassy Suites!

This hotel is a nice hotel. It had a nice breakfast, and they had nice employees helping you if you need it. I also love how there was a seperate room so you could go out and read, or watch a movie, or relax, or whatever.

I stayed as part of the YLA seminars. The hotel is really nice and our room was well kept. Some things in the hotel need attention. I was a little concerned when we went to breakfast and the skylight ceiling was pouring water down on us because it was raining outside. A little too like Hogwarts dining hall for me, thanks ;)

When my mom went into Hospice this Dec. I needed accommodations for at least one week. After checking with a few hotels on the area I decided on Embassy Suites. I only have great comments for the hotel the staff and the accommodations. Everyone was just terrific. The shuttle service was just incredible. Whether we had to go back and forth to the Hospice Facility or the funeral home it was never an issue. The all inclusive breakfast station and the end of the day happy hour was simply amazing. I want to thank Pam who helped with our stay. Along with the great staff in room service. On our last day they even extended our check out to 3:30..I can't say enough. Thank you thank you thank you.

Romantic? Yes!! This is a beautiful location. Nightly they have a manager's reception and they are very generous with it. Staff was friendly. Just across the street is a large mall with several restaurants providing everything from fast food to higher end. There is a fee for parking ($13) with some limited free parking for vehicles with handicapped stickers (all were used when we stayed). It is a bit of a walk to parking, they really should have valet service. All considered, I would still recommend it.

I was very disappointed with my stay. We arrived late (11:45 PM) and the security guard found the front office staff in the back room after we had waited 10 minutes in the lobby to check in. When we got to our room, I found the sheets in one of the beds to have a stain that appeared to be human feces still caked on them. I called down and all that was offered was to bring clean sheets, which I had to put on. The breakfast was pretty good but not nearly as good as other Embassy Suites I have stayed at. The whirlpool was just shy of bath water (again, other Embassy Suites do a much better job of heating their hot tubs). The person in the pool area seemed very put out when asking about towels for the area each time only bringing less than 6. When I went to check out the front office person stated the night person was quitting so she probably didn't care about any of my concerns and that the hotel was older and needed renovations. She also told me about a parking charge that I hadn't been informed of the night before (they did remove). Since I had used points to book the room they weren't able to provide any compensation but did say they would put points on my Hilton Honors account. I'm extremely disappointed since we look for Embassy Suites every where we go, I'm just hoping this was an isolated incident.

Parking here is limited. The check-in in was a little slow with a large group. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant in the hotel served good food for a decent price, the rooms were very large and comfortable. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

Don't let the outside fool you. For the price, the inside of this hotel is extremely beautiful with its open feel and spacious atrium. The rooms have a living area that is separate from the bedroom. It includes a microwave and a small refrigerator. They also have a wonderful complimentary breakfast and a happy hour that includes free drinks. I've been coming here for years for conferences and would recommend this hotel to anyone. Plus, it's a short walk to historic Charleston and many other restaurants and attractions.

Hotel is nice. Very clean with nice hot breakfast and free cocktails in the evening. I took off 1 star because upon arrival the person over the intercom in the parking garage was very rude. He essentially yelled at me for holding in the button on the intercom even though the sign said too. However I believe the parking garage isn't ran by hotel but it was a crappy way to start my stay

Not the greatest. Poor customer service from the reception staff. Quite rude and surly staff. Waiting and cleaning staff are lovely. Hotel is dated. Facilities are clean and tidy. Bar staff are lovely and very helpful. The Shuttle driver was also very kind and made us feel very welcome. All in all, mainly good service with some less than satisfactory aspects which need attention. A mixed bag.

Ok... second stay here....very nice reception and employees during reception. Good breakfast, check times so you don't miss. Non supportive bed...sunk upon laying, rough night sleep. Mattress in other room was better. Clean and we'll kept hotel considering how old it is.

Super friendly staff. Free bar and snacks. Free breakfast. And not one ofz the crappy breakfast either. There's an omelet bar and all sorts of fresh fruits, oatmeal, cereal, waffles, pancakes...ect. Whatever you want, everything is made to order. The rooms are nice and big. The walls and floors are very thick, so little noise from neighbors. There is a in door pool and hot tub, a fitness center, and business center.

There was a man with an extraordinary mullet staying at the Embassy. He was truly a peacock among men. A party mullet of this magnitude had to have taken years to grow. The Embassy, though it pales in comparison to the mullet, is a family friendly hotel, with a great happy hour and breakfast. The price was very good and the quality high. I'd definitely stay there again, especially if that mullet were there too.

Neat building. Room smelled like smoke. We were told we could have a rollaway bed but got to the hotel and they said they aren't available, and were kind of rude about it. Some random person knocked on out door at 5 in the morning. Sausage at breakfast was not good. Wished there was milk at the breakfast. Good deal.

The service with a smile is so welcoming after a long day of driving. It was so nice to have hummus and fresh veggies tortilla chips and salsa ranch and two free drinks. The happy hour was jumping with people. The bed was nice and soft with great pillows. The work out room had nice equipment, free weights, universal and walkers as well as high tech stair steppers. All in perfect condition.

Stayed for business one night. A night hotel with two room suites that feel a little more homey. I missed the breakfast. Everything was great except the black stuff on the ceiling in my room. I wasn't too concerned but I hope it wasn't mold.

Service here was outstanding! While it has gotten a fairly recent update to the latest Embassy Suites standards and color schemes, a few of the finer finish details could still use some work. Still, wouldn't mind staying here on our next stop through Charleston.

Beautiful hotel. Open interior all the way to the roof. Large free breakfast. Made to order omelets, fresh fruit, multiple coffees and teas, fountain drinks, real bacon and sausage. They do start maid service early. She knocked on the door at 8am to she if we needed anything. Parking is $12 and it is behind the main building. I had to walk outside in the rain. Overall would definitely stay again.

Went to a professional meeting here. The space I saw was nice and the food provided at breakfast and lunch was good. I didn't see a room so I don't know what they're like. But the whole place was clean so I suspect the roof. S were of the same caliber. The atrium was such a nice little area to sit and have lunch. The staff was also friendly and attentive.

I'm writing from the viewpoint of a musician playing music at the Charleston Embassy Suites. The venue (ballroom/conference center) is an ideal place for live music. The hotel staff and management are extremely accommodating and are serious about tending to the performance needs of musicians.
If you are planning an event I certainly recommend Embassy Suites. A GREAT place to gig

It's hard to beat Embassy Suites for value. We enjoyed the manager's reception and we enjoyed breakfast. We got there right at the tail end of breakfast, so everything was clearly winding down with respect to the service. But we still had a good experience.

I don't like having to pay to park and the gal at the front desk was a bit vague with directions to the parking deck. But it was still a good experience that my family really enjoyed.

One of the best places to stay in Charleston downtown, close to the mall and downtown attractions.
