I stay at a lot of different Marriott properties throughout Texas. This one is on par with other Fairfields, which tend to be on the lower end of the Marriott chain.

The Residence Inn is newer and nicer, but I'll raise the Fairfield a full star for how much friendlier the staff is. They always have cookies out, as well as a Welcome Gift for Elite Members. They're one of the few hotels that actually does this, and it goes a long way to building brand loyalty.

The location is also convenient, being at the intersection of Texas and University. If you're staying in BCS, it's a good value for a decent room.

Staff is very friendly and professional. Wide variety of food choices for the complementary breakfast. Pool area was clean and well stocked with towels. Front desk helpful and attentive for my families needs.

Room and bathroom were clean. The breakfast was usual fare, eggs, sausage bacon, biscuits, gravy, fruits, juice coffee bread, bagel, cereal, yougurt. Unlimited Free mini bottles of water from front desk, was a.nice amenity. Overall a good stay. Only one problem the exhaust fan in the bathroom was very very noisy. It would turn one every time I switched on bathroom light.

The hotel was nothing special. I have stayed at super 8 s that were just as nice. The one thing that really irritated me use housekeeping knocking on my door at 8:05AM . I have never stayed at a hotel that allows them to do that so early. They knocked on every door and I heard several people complaining. It is definitely common practice because rhr front desk shrugged it off .

The bed was comfortable and the pillows were synthetic for those that may have feather allergies. The continental breakfast was quite tasty, but i wish they would have had biscuits and gravy. All in all, we had a great stay and would gladly return.

This was a decent hotel but compared to other fairfield's it was below average. Everything seems to be clean. I found a couple black small bugs in the bathroom they look similar to sugar ants. Overall I give it three stars.

The hotel is nicely updated. The staff was super friendly. The only issue with this property is that it only has one set washer/dryer.

The rooms were really well kept and the beds were very comfortable. I would recommend this to any group needing a place to sleep especially so close to the Texas A&M main building.

The breakfast food was splendid! I really as if everything was homemade and fresh. The rooms were moderate sized and the beds were comfortable.

The best hotel in the area I can't say enough good things about it. The staff is friendly the breakfast was great the rooms are extremely clean and everything is amazing. If you're going to stay near Texas A&M I would definitely stay here.

Disappointed since this is a marriott hotel. The only reason I gave a two it's because of the staff, they were very helpful. The room although renovated smelled weird and I felt itchy after sleeping on their bed. The bathroom fan was making very weird noise. Didn't enjoy my stay.

Thanks for taking such great care of my family who were evacuated there due to the storm. You are shining examples of caring humans and customer service that goes above and beyond.

After booking the hotel for a very good price, we drove into the hotel in Bryan. First, we were greeted by fantastic staff that looked very professional by how they were dressed and they had a personality to match. They offered us a complimentary cookie were very helpful, friendly, and courteous. The pool area was very nice and we enjoyed our time swimming immensely. Our room was nice, very clean, and neat with all the amenities. Our beds were some of the most comfortable hotel beds we have stayed in. The breakfast the next morning was delicious. We would definitely stay there again!

The staff is so nice here! The front desk was wonderful and helpful. The cleaning staff went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. I was impressed.

Although a budget hotel on the spectrum of Marriott options, this location is a good choice when coming to College Station for a weekend. Rooms are clean and have amenities like a coffee maker. There's a desk in the room for doing work. Although the hotel was fully booked, there was no noticeable noise by other guests. Parking lot at front fills up quickly but ample space at rear of hotel. Complimentary self-serve breakfast has many options. There are also small complimentary water bottles available in the cooler near the reception desk. Checkout is easy and no hidden charges packed into bill. When exiting the hotel, it's safer to turn right even if trying to head the other direction to Texas A&M. Be careful of the drainage dips on both sides of Texas Ave. here because you can bottom out a car turning onto side streets or into parking lots.

First time walk-in guests.

The outside grounds were well kept. Green grass and plants, beautiful planted flowers, clean and well lite parking lot. A very good first impression. Curb appeal says a lot of what may be inside. Genuinely friendly staff that pays attention 110% to their guests. When an establishment is focused on the comfort of their guest, they greet every guest with eye contact and genuinely mean it, not because they have to attitude, it says a lot about their priorities...us as their guests. This establishment also paid attention to their guests by how we love our rooms and all the amenities (clean indoor pool and working gym) for our enjoyment. Rooms were updated and beautiful...oh, the excitement from my family when we walked in our room. The over amount of breakfast choices are comforting to know that there's something for everyone. Mayla was excellent in caring about our stay. As the check-in employee, she also made sure we received our roll away bed and even made an extra trip to bring back a blanket. She greeted us cheerfully the next morning as we arrived for breakfast.
Every employee that we passed, said hello with a smile and eye contact. Even the housekeepers down the hall made sure that we were noticed and welcomed!
I felt we were treated and felt welcomed as though we we were a guest in our family or friend's home. All of that equals to a great night sleep and stay. And if your family is excited to be there, how much more perfect can it get?

The only problem I had noticed was a strong smell or cigarette smoke in the hallway when we returned to the Inn after a Casting Crowns concert. But the room was smoke free.

Decent hotel for agood night sleep. Nothing special but nothing wrong with it either. The AC wasn't super loud like some of the giant floor units can be.

The hotel was clean and the staff were nice. They had just steam cleaned the floors so the carpet was amp but dried overnight. The suite was nice with a 6 week old baby to allow for feeding and diaper changes spearate from the bed. The fridge was disappointing. It's basically like a cooler with no temp control and does not run continuously. The breakfast was very good. We would definitely stay again.

They staff was excellent, the accommodations were top notch, and the decor was adorable!!! I will definitely stay here again!!!!!

I travel to the area for business regularly and like this place a lot. Staff is well informed and very friendly. Rooms always clean, comfortable beds, good internet speed and solid breakfast. Used to stay at much higher priced hotel in the area but since I found this place I haven't even thought about going back.

Over the Memorial Holiday, my father, mother, and granddaughter and I traveled to Bryan to visit my son. We stayed 4 nights at the Fairfield Inn and absolutely loved it, it was very clean, and comfortable for all of us. The pool and hot tub was wonderful and a great way to pass the time for my granddaughter. The staff was so willing to help and were fantastic! Breakfast was wonderful and I loved the waffles!!! When we go back to visit this is definitely the place we will be staying. Thank you all for such a wonderful stay and we will see you all again!!! The little welcome bags were wonderful and the bag of goodies for my granddaughter was a sweet and thoughtful touch! Thanks again, we had a great stay!
