Clean and comfortable. Breakfast included and is good. Swimming pool is decent and our 1.2 yrs old daughter loves it.

Came here for a night out with the girlfriend. We had the king spa with the whirlpool tub inside the room. Upon entering the room, the first thing I noticed was this wet/mildew smell. The room's layout was nice. The usage of the whirlpool was a bit confusing trying to turn on the jets. One thing that was exceptional was the front desk service. I HAVE to give a shout out to Brenden & Hyram. They have presented great service that the company SHOULD notice. As a person who is at a hotel quite frequently, it is nice to be on the other side of a thank you, where I would have to second their "thank you". The staff very polite. One recommendations for the hotel is to have the breakfast more fresh. Scrambled eggs and omelettes came out cold with cheese not melted. I couldn't enjoy my morning meal. Otherwise than that, the presentation of the place was great. Great color scheme in the halls. If you stay for a night I would recommend, any longer I would find something a little more comfortable. Best thing was the customer service we received. King spa room = $251 after taxes, was it worth it? Maybe, maybe not.. depends on the person.. not quite worth the money for me!! My family and I booked a suite when we first got there my room wasn't clean. I was extremely upset! Watching other people check in and I was paying more, I felt like our room should have been a priority. I spoke to the maintenance man Jamal. Jamal was very nice and helpful. He quickly spoke the the gentleman in the front desk Jerome. Jerome was amazing, he went above and beyond to help us, making sure we had everything we needed. Checking with us to make sure we were happy. He went above and beyond the customer service standards. After speaking to him I realized that he was extremely intelligent and had wonderful ideas for the hotel. Very good employee definitely deserves a raise! Another helpful employee was Amanda at the front desk. The hotel was clean the room was pleasant, and the complimentary breakfast exceeded expectations. Will definitely stay again!

Nice room, good staff but the door locks wouldn't work. 3 different sets of keys until they have me another room.

My first stay here a few months ago was very poor. The bathroom was outdated and air didn’t work. I was forced to book here this time around because of lack of availability at any other Marriott property in the area. I was shocked to see all the improvements over the last year and couldn’t be happier with my stay so far. The bathrooms have been upgraded with new floors in the showers as well as new shower, sink and tub fixtures. The carpets are new and welcoming and wallpaper professionally hung. The staff was incredibly attentive and accommodating. Pictures are attached to the review.

Last weekend I stayed here with my son. The hotel was nice and the staff was friendly. The breakfast was really good. I always enjoy staying in hotels that have complimentary breakfast. The young lady was exceptionally well. She held great conversation with me as I was not too familiar with the area. The breakfast was very hot, tasty and delicious. The young lady assisted my son with making waffles which I thought was really nice since some staff at hotels appear to be distant and not very helpful. I think I will stay here again when I come back to visit.

Had a very nice time at the hotel this weekend the rooms were clean the bed were comfortable and the breakfast was good the waitress very friendly and helpful and the stuff is so nice

I give this place 6 stars... I always rate a place acording to its food, i figure if the foods good and decent then everything else falls in order. The pool is clean also.
The free breakfast is clean and good, not left over. The room was clean very. The staff is nice and friendly. Highly recommemd this place😊

As far as Marriott's go, this place is just slightly below average. Seems like it needs a bit of TLC but otherwise a fine place to stay for a night. One out of the ordinary thing I will mention is that the coffee is probably the worst coffee I've ever had, not just at a Marriott.

I actually love the location of this hotel. It's near trains to NYC and Philadelphia and pretty central to the rest of Central/ Northern NJ. Rakhi and the rest of staff were great, room was clean. We book this place every time we come to the area.

Very good location, easy check in and parking. Stayed on the 2nd floor, the hallway smelled. The room was clean but hot, I had to keep the air conditioning on for my stay during the winter.

I am Marriott executive platinum. Didn't receive the normal welcome. No upgrades here. At least they treat everyone equal. That's good if you don't spend thousands at Marriott like myself...I guess

Nice location. Comfy, clean and quiet rooms. No bar or kitchen but food not far from hotel.

It is conveniently located off the highway. It was a nice and quiet stay. They had to turn off the water to fix a leak so I know it would've been better had we not had to forego our showers. We commuted to NYC daily and it was very easy access. I will definitely stay here again.

A bit disappointed with overall stay, but staff made things right in the end. When we first checked into our room it had a wet dog smell so we asked to be moved. The second room was very damp and humid even with the air conditioning on full blast and the refrigerator was broken. We then asked to be moved to the Executive Suite (figuring we would see the best that they have to offer). That ended up being fine. Not sure what is going on here, possible renovations. But was a bit substandard from what we have come to expect from Marriott.

The staff is lovely...very welcoming and real. The room is nice but some spots a little worn...sofa...walls... microwave should have been cleaned more thoroughly. Suite is generally very comfortable.

Bed was clean, floor was vacuumed. Friendly staff and quick to attend to accomodations. No complaints

Beds were all very comfortable. Building is fancy looking. Everything is above par besides the TVs which seem outdated, but not like that really matters.

Nice rooms, super comfy queen size beds. The rooms have 2 tvs a refrigerator and a microwave. There is also free breakfast, with a plethora of options including oatmeal with all the fixings, granola, fresh fruit, infused water and waffles. The only complaint is have is the gym is really just a cardio room no weights of any kind just 2 treadmills an oliptical and a bike.

Pool wasn't working but management worked out agreement with a fitness center just up the street, that allowed for the use of the whole fitness center for the time of your stay!!! Only thing needing improvement was the breakfast.

Very comfortable, staff was absolutely wonderful. Pool was cold and whirlpool want working, butkids still enjoyed. Was very impressed they had soy milk and dairy free butter!!!

My recent four night stay at the Fairfield Inn and Suites in Edison-South Plainfield NJ was excellent. One could ask for a finer experience. From the the check in to the check out all personnel were efficient, extremely courteous, and attentive. The room was in perfect condition and the complimentary breakfast excellent. Ms. Krissy Belayyadi, the manager, is to be congratulated on developing an exemplary corporate culture at this hotel . The Marriott Corporation should be proud of her and the associates.

Hotel is nice. Free breakfast has been better at other fairfields. Room was clean but smelled like a wet dog. Pervious person must have brought a dog in.

The hotel looks like it's been updated. The front desk staff was nice. The king suite was good size and the bed was comfortable.

My home in New Jersey. I have stayed here a couple times. It is in a good location and is clean. The bathrooms have recently been renovated. The staff is great - there were a couple issues upon checking in most recently and they addressed them right away. Only complaint is the TV programming - not any movie channels I could find; you tune to Starz, for example, and get a message that you don't get this channel. No biggie, because the WiFi is strong.

If there's one thing a hotel shouldn't do, it's run out of hot water. Two days in a row. Not how I like to start my morning.

That, and the air conditioning unit that sounds like a jet engine starting up, made for a less-than-great stay. I'll look for other options in the future.

My room was modern and conducive to work/rest with a dedicated working area separated from the sleeping area. AC wasn't too loud and makes for good white noise since the fan runs all the time. Fridge, microwave, and coffee pot included. WiFi wasn't fast, but it is free.

It's OK. The front desk is great and the rooms are clean. Why is it more for a room with a microwave? Seems kind of silly. The free breakfast is good. The shower doesn't work very well.

We stayed for 2 nights at this hotel and overall it was a good experience. All the employees that we interacted with were kind and helpful. The hotel itself was very clean and kept in order and the hot breakfast they offered was satisfying. The only complaint we have is the noise from the nearby freeway at night.

Clean hotel with friendly staff fairly close to the turnpike. There is a mall fairly close to the hotel that offers plenty of dining options. I will stay here next time I am in the area.

Great suite. Clean, friendly, with comfortable beds and pillows which is most important to us . Would stay again. Only complaint is noise from the road.

Would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family I enjoyed my stay rooms are very clean and organized best part of staying at the Hotel is the morning breakfast the young lady attending the breakfast area is very nice and polite and very respectful always greets everyone good morning Coffee is fresh and there's always fruits and eggs nothing is never missing when she is there and area very clean good job will definitely recommend.

A group of co-workers and I are staying here for a few days. We have been here for about 3 hours and already Jeff at the front counter is awesome! He is totally making us feel at home and helping us with anything that we need. He deserves a big pat on the back for being so awesome at customer service.
