Even during the covid crisis this resort was open and had amazing hospitality!! Definitely recommend this place over the other hotels in the area!

Highly accommodating and courteous staff. We needed a microwave and within 10 minutes, we had one at our room. Very clean rooms, and comfortable beds. We had 6 people in our two rooms suite with no issue. Id recommend this to business travelers or family travel.

We booked the Fox Ridge for a weekend getaway. We spend alot of time in NH and always looking for a new spot. All of the staff is super friendly. Beds were comfy. The price is very reasonable for the area. Had to book a double bed room because king were sold out, It was just me and my boyfriend so the kids running around and being loud in the halls was a bit much, parents should make sure their children are respectful of other guests. It's a very family friendly so if your looking for peace and solitude this is not the place. The mountain view from the room is beautiful as well as the fact your away from the busy road up on the hill. There is and indoor pool and jacuzzi, outdoor pool as well for summertime, hills for sledding , playground, and a cute little mini golf for summertime as well. Cookies at the front desk when you check in. Found out once we arrived they are a pet friendly hotel which is great to know for the future! Close to shopping, restaurants and attractions.

Just a few things that need some attention....the shower had no water pressure and was barely coming out of the shower head (more out of the faucet no matter what we did), there should be lighting along the walkways to the hotel doors as well as to and from the parking lots (it is very dark coming and going once the sun sets especially with parking being a good distance from the doors ), better lighting on the hotel sign on the road and entrance as well (drove by it the first time), the rooms need to be updated and had no blankets/comforters just 3 sheets on the bed(one folded blanket above the closet to use for 2 beds?), breakfast definitely needs some help (but lots of options for kids with cereals, fruits, waffles, ) the eggs were cold, potatoes not fully cooked and tasted more like peppers than potatoes; so I opted for waffles and waited in line for at least 10 minutes with only 1 waffle maker, there is no area to get snacks or forgotten necessities on premises. After 9 all entrances are locked for security until 7am, which I understand, you have to enter through the main entrance and walk a bit of a way to your room depending on where you are staying.

Overall good hotel and stay just needs a little work. We would stay here again , this time would bring the dog, as we spend most of the day exploring.

Rented a loft for the weekend for 3 adults and one child. Very affordable and spacious. My wife price shopped for places to stay in and around North Conway and this was the best deal for us. Pool and hot tub look nice. So far so good!

Nice place to stay. Indoor and outdoor pool were nice. Minigolf included with your stay was fun. Breakfast was very good! But get there early because it was a 10-15 minute wait to get seated. Rooms were clean and comfortable. A little dated but it was a nice stay. Price is a little steep but it was a nice place and we will stay again.

Loved our stay here. Great pools, play structure for kids, roasted marshmallows at night, solid breakfast, rooms have definitely been updated but patios could use sprucing up. Still no complaints. Would return and have recommended to others.

Nice clean place. Older, so not a lot of modern amenities. No elevator to second floor rooms. No microwave. Restaurant only for free hot breakfast (which is good). The pools are well kept and the staff is friendly and helpful. Beautiful view.

Great family resort. My son loved the roasted marshmallows every night. Definitely a plus having an indoor and outdoor pool. A nice playground for the kids and my little guy likes miniature golf now. Also I liked having access to Red Jacket Resort but preferred Fox Ridge.

Staff was very friendly and attentive. Room was clean but a little dated. Indoor and outdoor pool were clean and kid friendly, and the mini golf course was a fun extra. Breakfast was only so so, but it was a nice stay overall. Would consider staying here again due to the location.

7

Clean place with many extras included such as a mini golf, indoor and out pool and a small game room. They have a nice breakfast spread included and check the calendar for different things happening. I've stayed here the last 5 years with the family when we visit storyland. I didn't give it a fifth star because the rooms could use a slight modernization touch to it, but they are clean and not too dated. I highly recommend this resort.

This place is amazing for families. The rooms are SUPER clean, front desk staff is friendly and very accommodating. They have nightly kids movies, fire pit with marshmallows and a ceramics class with "Jake". The paint is free but small fee charged per piece. You also get access to sister property a mile down the street Red Jacket Resort they have an indoor water park, it's a little small in comparison but they have a wave pool which I havent seen at another one in mass. If u stay at either hotel the price is only 25 per person. Reasonable again compared to another in mass. I cant say enough good things, cant wait to go back this fall. Season ends Oct 23 or 24 this year.

Overall OK but I think there are better options in the area. DO NOT get your reservation on Groupon, the hotel did not honor our 1-night that included KahunaLaguna pass, so instead of paying the extra $20 per person to the water park we stayed in and swam at the pools (which were great). The hotel staff was unapologetic about our room's ancient thermostat with an A/C that didn't work and we had a rough nights sleep with a hot 2 year old. Just felt like they didn't care much about our experience and there are a lot of other hotels that do.

Great resort, they provide a ton of activities for the kids including camp fires and marshmallows at night and horse rides. The free breakfast is actually really good. Includes pancakes, sausage, bacon, eggs. My only complaint is the rooms are a bit dated and they don't put a lot into them. It is a New Hampshire children's hotel though and my kids love it.

Loved staying at this hotel, indoor pool was fantastic as well as the breakfast and the passes to the sister hotel the redjacket with the indoor water park was great for my kids, so much fun and loved the activities they had planned during our stay wish I stayed longer than a weekend, definitely plan to go back again soon.

The rooms are old. We had a TV but it received nothing, considering there were two interesting games on the weekend, that was unfortunate. The AC was basically on or off settings. The area had a huge mosquito problem, but I would expect the hotel to take some steps on the grounds themselves so the rooms will not be flooded. At the breakfast choice was very limited and it was not up for capacity. It didn't feel clean or fun to be in. The pool was bad.

The team was very nice and the mini golf was fun for the kids.

We go here because we can't afford their sister property the red jacket it's way way too expensive. So Foxridge is cheaper and it comes with free breakfast sometimes their price is too high too but it's a lot better than the red jacket prices.

The rooms are superb and massive. You can sit outside and enjoy the views of the White Mountains too. The meals were lovely too. It's just off the main road into North Conway

Great resort that's back from the main road. That really makes a difference once you see how busy the main road is. Accommodations are good, the complementary breakfast is good too. The dining room was busy because of the hundreds of people that were staying at the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. It's also a good place to take kids. If you Don't like kids you may want to pass. If you do have kids, this place is perfect.

Stayed for one night in a loft room for my son's birthday. He brought a friend and the accommodations were great! We were able to get free passes to kahuna laguna through a website promotion. Room was spacious and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was filling with a good variety.

8

Great location for settlers Green outlets, cranmore and storyland. Ideal for younger kids. Hotel itself is lovely, rooms are kind of generic but they are roomy, clean and comfortable and have fridges and a good bathroom. Breakfast is well above average, though can be a few minutes wait at popular times. The views of the white mountains are arresting and the hotel grounds are pretty with some neat features like an outdoor pool, mini golf, arcade, and shuffle board.

Also paired with the red jacket so you can add a water park ticket and take the free shuttle to play in the wave pool and water slides. The red jacket restaurants have a great buffet on the weekend.

Recommended!

Peaceful, beautiful grounds. Perfect for a family get-away. Children's play areas, horse drawn buggy rides, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis court, disc frisbie golf, hiking trails, etc...a nice, fun place to stay.

My wife and I stayed here overnight for a wedding on the area.the place was pretty nice. Our room was clean and spacious. We arrived before check in time and our room wasn't ready yet. The front desk went out of their way for us and gave us a different room. It was a good experience.

Nice resort with a good continental breakfast. There were lots of activities to keep our kids busy on a rainy Saturday. We enjoyed the indoor water park down the street at the red jacket mountain view. We'll be staying here again in the future.

8

Great place for the family, quiet and laid back with still plenty to do.

Both the indoor and outdoor pools are nice, the mini golf basic but fun, and the family activities keep the kids entertained. It's also very close to StoryLand which is great.

Take in the buffet breakfast, the pancakes are amazing.

I'd give it 5 stars but the water park experience was a disappointment. Maybe I'm naive but when I booked a vacation at a family resort with a water park, I assumed that it was included, that is why I booked here. Finding out it was $25 per person per day was a major disappointment, we chose not to partake.

It is a decent hotel for a reasonable price. The breakfast is good and hotel amenities are good as well. Indoor & outdoor pool, shuffle board, mini golf, planned events on a daily basis. Laundry and game room. Rooms are average, (what you would expect). But for a homebase for vacation, we enjoy it.

6

Not bad place, though it feels really out of date and if you want to watch any TV at night good luck; the channel selection is very poor and few. The rooms have a feeling of being at your grandparents home and the sent as well. The breakfast in the morning is similar in comparison to Holiday Inn. But then again didn't come here for the hotel; we came here to spend some time in the White Mountain area.

Fox Ridge was the site of our family reunion in the summer of 2017. It's a charming property with a mini golf course, an indoor and outdoor pool, game room and campfire every night. They offer a delicious complimentary breakfast for guests with a wide variety of food (not just continental, which was good for those like me who are gluten intolerant). Our rooms were nice with fridges, and some of my family had loft rooms, which were great for bigger families. The only downside is the lack of elevators, which was tough for me with a bum knee and those of our family who were elderly. While you can request a downstairs room, if there's limited availability you have to deal with the stairs. The location was central to outlet stores, lakes and more. We enjoyed it a lot!

Fox Ridge Resort was a great getaway for my wife and 4 year old son. There was so much to do on the property from the pools (indoor and outdoor) to the mini golf. Each night they had different things to do for kids. Plus a campfire (weather permitting). The second night we stayed they had horse and carriage rides through the parking lot for 2 hours. It's the little things like that, that make me want to come back here next year for another vacation. It is 5 minutes from the town center where all the shops are and about 15 minutes to story land. The mountain views were amazing. Clean hotel and friendly hotel staff

Quick review : good hotel with nice staff and lots of amenities. Some things are dated but over all nice. More in depth review : Rooms- clean and slightly updated. Bathroom shower are old school and there are no microwaves in the rooms (annoying if you have family and want to make a Mac and cheese). Lamps have room light and reading light. Flat screen TV. And balcony /outside entrance depending on your floor. Key to get in is still an actual metal key, not a key card. Facility- clean, 2 pools one inside by lobby and one outside. They are not heated, or wasn't when I was there. Hot tub is nice but on small side. Mini golf is included and fun. Balls by lobby and clubs on your way to course from lobby. 9 hole course in good condition. They also have a 9 hole disc golf course. You can borrow the hotels disc. If you play first tee is by pool outside next to shuffle boards (btw 2 shuffle board lane) note that playing near subset will get you eaten aside by horse flies! I counted 11 bites... They hurt AND itch. I recommend playing earlier. They also have a ok playground and fire pit they run at night. Breakfast is a standard continental style though note you need to get there early unless you want to wait for your room number to be called because the room is full. Arcade down stairs is nice but you do need to pay. A quarter machine is there. IMPORTANT NOTE - THE HOTEL DOES NOT HAVE ELEVATORS! if you are on second floor you are carrying your stuff to your rooms. I recommend finding your room before unloading as there are multiple doors to get in. Side note - that I was there for the 4th with family including a toddler and 2 teens and they loved it. It was full and it felt like being in a international convention. All continents were represented. I thought that was cool that the sticks of NH got so many foreign travelers. Conclusion - I would stay there again. Great for families. IF YOU DON'T HAVE KIDS AND DON'T CARE FOR KIDS DON'T GO! THEY ARE EVERYWHERE THERE!

Nice, very clean, friendly hotel. I would give this a 3.7 stars. Good breakfast. Could switch up menu items. Very nice indoor pool. Parking ample but not convenient. Wonderful staff. Low water pressure in shower. Great Wi-Fi for business commuters. Older, but ok a/c unit, not a powerful fan. Fresh clean linens. Relatively quiet despite a lot of families.

We're repeat customers. We have a family of five which can be hard to accommodate and we find their Family Loft is great (the stairs are a little scary for younger kids). They have their own sink up in the loft which is great for bedtime and brushing teeth. The rooms could use some updating but there is plenty of bureau space to unpack the whole family and not live out of suitcases for the week (something we took for granted until we stayed somewhere that didn't have enough drawer space- very inconvenient). Game room was fun with a pool table and air hockey. There's a movie room and some arcade games. The indoor pool is ideal, the outdoor pool is nice but down the hill and a little bit of a walk from the main building. I think the outdoor pool closes pretty early too so the indoor pool can get a little crowded. Breakfast is pretty good and the staff is friendly. Breakfast alternates every other day so you're not eating the same thing every day (ex. 1 day there's bacon no sausage, the next there's sausage no bacon, 1 day is french toast, the next is waffles). No lunch or dinner options, you have to order pizza etc for room service.

I recently stood at the Fox Ridge Resort this past weekend. Originally I had thought our reservations were at Red Jacket Mountain Resort as we had stood there in the past, but i guess I accidentally booked it here instead. Let me just say I was glad it happened this way. We enjoyed our stay and are already planning to go back this winter!! There were many things for my toddler to do. Right outside our room was the swing set and she loved it. We also had mini golf and the indoor pool right near our room. Very clean and quiet and staff was wonderful!! We had stayed two nights and one day we came back to our room and napped so we had put the Do Not Disturb sign so cleaning wouldn't come in. And you guys were awesome because several hours later they called our room to see if we needed it cleaned or anything. We travel alot and I have been to many hotels, usually im calling them because I need more towels. What awesome service!! Staff was very friendly and made us feel welcomed!
We will be seeing you guys again this winter!!

I attended Fox Ridge Resort for a wedding ceremony and it was very well catered to and held. There were two bouts of rain that held things up and got everything wet (it was an outside ceremony), but they dried everything off and her very hospital in the process. The receptionists were nice and informative and everyone involved was great and on task. The backdrop was also great, despite the rainclouds. The only downside was that the rooms stuck out on the sides and had it so random guests of the hotel were guests to the ceremony (especially the hall leading to outside where little kids were playing). I'm sure that was great for them, but as a member of the party it was odd. Overall great and I would certainly stay there.

Friendly staff, casual and comfortable for families. We have been here about 24 hours and already enjoyed the playground, indoor pool, breakfast, mini golf, complimentary shuttle to sister resort, and the fabulous Kahuna Laguna Waterpark at their sister resort for $25 per person. We hope to check out the bonfire tonight. My 6 year old feels like the beds are princess beds. (We are in a Double Queen) The patio is a fun plus too.
The resort is showing its age in certain areas but the fabulous amenities and activities make up for that IMO. There is a musty smell throughout but it is only noticeable when you first check in. I stayed at a Westin once that pumped a fragrance throughout the hotel and it gave me a headache so other than noticing the smell when we first checked in, it hasn't bothered me. There is a little more mildew in the bathroom than I am comfortable with, some of the furniture is slightly dated and one drawer is broken. They have clearly updated the carpet, window treatments, and vanity. The landscaping is lush and lovely. The wifi is great too.

I love this hotel. I chose it because I have a four year old son, they have a Story Land package, and the price is good. The rooms are very nice and clean- our's was on the first floor, mountain view, with a door going outside to a private patio and we could walk to the outdoor pool from there. Great! They served free Popsicles at the pool at 4 p.m. among other daily activities that are all very kid-friendly. The mini golf was fun too. The free buffet breakfast was convenient and saved us money! We also liked the chocolate chip cookies they put out in the afternoon for new guests. This place is great for young families. If you are not traveling with kids or do not like kids, please stay somewhere else. This hotel is clearly a family-friendly place and is not for grumpy people who don't want to see or hear children.

Room was a dive. Old air conditioning that hasn't been updated. Wallpaper coming off form water damage. Refrigerator sounded like to was going to take off like an airplane. Old fashioned shower. Sheets had stains. DO NOT COME HERE

Very family oriented - hot buffet breakfast, indoor and outdoor heated pools, hot tub, miniature golf (not in optimal condition but when playing with kids, who cares). shuffleboard. Camp fire every evening to roast marshmallows. We seemed to be one of several sets of grandparents traveling with kids. We used a Groupon for our stay -well worth it

Kids were constantly running back and forth on the floor above us in the morning and at night making it impossible to sleep. Babies were crying at 6:30 in the morning. The place is full of families with kids under five and the kids run wild. The interior hallways were narrow and the carpeting in the hallways was old and stained. The hotel rooms were opened the old fashioned way... with an old metal key. My daughter accidentally opened another hotel room with our hotel room key. The hotel staff was relatively friendly and helpful. The rooms were small, the carpeting in the room was old and worn, but overall relatively clean. The indoor pool was nice and was heated. The outdoor pool was not heated and needed cleaning. Kahuna Laguna is not included in the hotel rate as we believed after reading the description on the hotel's web site. The rates were expensive compared with the value received.
