Green Key Eco-Rating Program 3

With more than 1,200 hotels certified in Canada since its inception in the 1990s, the Green Key Eco-Rating Program awards hotels an environmental rating of one to five Green Keys. Green Key members are then given guidance on how to "unlock" opportunities to reduce operating costs and environmental impacts - and in turn earn more keys.

The Green Key audit looks at nine major areas of sustainable hotel operations:
• Energy conservation
• Water conservation
• Solid waste management
• Hazardous waste management
• Indoor air quality
• Community outreach
• Building infrastructure
• Land use
• Environmental management

It is nice but the only thing I did not like was the pool area. The security in the pool was not doing there job right I have kids you now how kids are they love to splash everywhere. Only cus some people that want to be cute dint want to be splash and they were telling the security and the security told us to not let the kid splash. I’m like hello it’s a family pool not a beauty club.

Room was nicer than expected! Conveniently in the middle of the strip, and sanitation is everywhere! Super clean! I can't end reviews well....

Casino and restaurants are nice. They allow smoking, so there’s that. The hallways can seem a bit dark and dated. However, the room we got felt adequate and appropriate. I mean, how much time are you really spending in the hotel room?? The shower is probably that strangest part of the room. There’s glass on half the shower and the other half is open. So if you want to turn on the water without getting wet you’re not going to be very happy. Our room had a view of the pool, so not the best view, but not so bright from the strip. Nice location, would stay again.

A lot of places were closed because of covid but no complaints from me. The room was comfortable. Self check-in and checkout were easy enough. Masks are required now. Also go on the high roller wheel. Great views of everywhere and open bar if you pay for that feature. It was my first trip to Vegas. I definitely don't see it being my last

So I picked this hotel based off of the online site that shows updated rooms with tubs unfortunately you can't believe what's online all the time so for this hotel unfortunately it doesn't have a bath tub they did not want to accommodate based on the false online website its like either you take or you don't then we get in the room and air is barely working we had to call them for maintenance to come up then we have no good cable channels at all but my sister room have different channels and a better working remote I say yes book here for weekends only but if you plan to stay 7 days like me no look for comfort

Overall, I find Harrah's a great option, especially if you want to be right on the strip and not spend a ton of money. I can only say two negative things - One, there is definitely smoking in the casino so if you are super sensitive to cigarette smoke I would look elsewhere. I'm no expert at casinos in Las Vegas, perhaps there is smoking in each and every Casino. I really don't know. Second, perhaps to cover up the cigarette smoke, there is a distinct smell they are pumping through the air conditioning here. It's kind of a sweet smell. It's not too bad but, again, if you are super sensitive to scents, this may not be the place for you. Otherwise, I found the staff extremely friendly and the service to be pretty great throughout.

Definitely a casino to go to if your intent is gambling. Relatively well capped very little trash. The casino although well-organized did not stand out in any specific way. The Harrah is a good place to get a show a decent deal. would recommend for the older crowd and people without kids. Worth at least one visit when you're in Las Vegas.

This was my wife and I's first stay at Harrah's. The room we had was very nice and clean but the AC didn't work very well. It would turn off early probably because they put the thermostat underneath the vent. So most of the nights I was uncomfortable because I like my room below 72 to sleep. It was probably around 76 most of the time. The bed was also pretty hard and the pillow sucked. With that said I love Harrah's location being in the middle of everything and it's easy to walk anywhere you need to. The buffet is pretty good and the breakfast in the buffet is exceptional. The casino floor is large and there's lots of food and shopping options. I would recommend Harrah's as a cheap hotel option.

Overall very pleasant Hotel and Casino. My group and I enjoyed the layout of the casino floor it was very easy to get around. The surrounding stores, shops, and all the other attractions are also nice plus. We didn't spend all that much time here but overall we had a very positive impression and I would recommend this hotel at least being worth a look if not necessarily stay there out right.

1st time to Vegas and my husband and I loved it! The hotel is in a great location which is centered in the middle of the strip. We had the pleasure of getting one of the newer rooms in the valley tower, which was awesome! Everyone was so friendly. We had a non smoking room called the front desk and they immediately switched us to a smoking room. Only dislike I would have is no fridge in the rooms. They charge $15 extra per day. We simply went and bought a $2 cooler off the strip and problem was solved. The front desk agent let us check in early by signing up for the rewards card. Check out was a piece of cake because you can check out from your cell phone! They gave us a late check out of 11:30 because of hotel availability, which was fine because they kept our luggage until we were ready to catch our flight.

My friends and I stayed here lat year (2017) back then the room was decent, a little dated but very reasonably priced. We came back this year (2018) and were presently surprised that the rooms had been updated! Love the new and improved rooms and still very reasonably priced. We ended up staying one more day and the process was easy to extend our stay with no hassle. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We love all the options in their food court as well. We definitely are starting here whenever we go to Vegas. I also recommend signing up fir their players card. It's free abd you get extra perks and points when if you don't gamble.

Staff members were very good at stating information that was misleading. Our second room was beautiful. The first room we were put in had not been remodeled yet and no one should stay in those rooms. Great restaurants and shops. Fun atmosphere. Centrally located. Great place to stay.

A good quality place to stay when visiting Las Vegas. It has a half size replica of the Eiffel Tower which has a restaurant about one third of the way up. You can also buy a ticket that will take you to a viewing platform with great views of Vegas. The staff are all helpful and approachable on any subject. The casino can be very noisy at times and I did not find a non smoking area although there may be one. The rooms are reasonable, clean with good furniture and fittings.

Got a standard room with two beds. Good amount of space, comfortable and attractively laid out. The amenities here are just as good as anywhere else and it's got a great location, all with a lower price than some of the bigger joints nearby. The pool area was nice, with a live DJ and lots of room. Sure it's flanked by buildings, but it's still beers and a pool on the strip. I will definitely think about staying here again.

Decent hotel on the strip and great access to Las Vegas Blvd and the monorail. Only thing I would like to see is a quicker check in process. I already had reservations and it took about 10 minutes after we finally got to the counter. The check in/out kiosk we're about the same from what I heard from other folks in line.

Nice place. Would recommend.

We stayed in a room with a pool view and enjoyed it. There was a DJ playing good music so we just opened the doors and it felt like we had traded our room for a cabana. The hotel itself is pretty centrally located, has some fun bars and plenty of tables. My only irritation is the bait and switch style of paying for your room. All kinds of hidden charges. The resort fee and valet fee aren't included in the price so add another $40 a day ti your stay.

The rooms aren't that big at the Harrah's but they are clean and the bathrooms also had 100% functionality when I arrived. Other casinos that I have experienced in the past would always have something wrong with the room.

The games and machines here seem really old. There aren't new machines like as if you'd see in Cosmopolitan, but maybe that's a good thing because that might mean they're due to hit...... right?

I really enjoyed the location, and if you walk in he evening when the sun is down, it's actually a nice experience to walk down the strip. Just know that it will probably be really crowded, as there is a lot of foot traffic that happens in that area.

Great rate for a great room. Location was perfect. Only 2 things kept me from rating it 5 stars. 1.) Room did not have a fridge ($15 to rent one) 2.) Shower did not have a door so water splashed all over the floor and even though the water was warm it was still cold because of not having a door to contain the heat all the cold air from the room made it a cold shower.

Harrah's was by far my favorite place to go enjoy some gambling. There was lots of fun people to chat with and also lots of good music. The piano bar was going off and the music was really fun to dance to. The location is in a prime spot on the strip... Right dab in the middle. The new renovations were really nice and I can't wait to go back and have some more fun there.

Check in was smooth we even got to check in at 12 p.m. We were able to store our luggage while we waited. The casino was nice the rooms in the valley Tower are awesome. The Mardi grass Tower is nice to it just hasn't been upgraded. if you don't like the smell of smoke or can't deal with it then this casino and hotel probably isn't for you. The rooms that are non-smoking don't smell like smoke though so that is a plus.

Wonderful, awesome, fun, and anything else you can think of.
We were able to get our Harrah's room compensated for by the Hotel for 8 nights! And the room was very nice and right in the middle of the Vegas Strip. We could walk anywhere we wanted to go. We could eat, drink, and gamble 24/7.
Will go again, especially due to its location and freebies!

Room was nice.
Staff need retraining to know the answers to direct questions. Huge queues to speak to a member of staff as a lot of people don't use the automatic check in machines.
Pool was nice but didn't get to enjoy it because every chair had a towel on it and there didn't appear to be a rule about who can use what.
Gym was too warm.
Great location in Vegas.
Overall I would use again but I wouldn't expect the friendlist service!

Older place but under a lot of remodeling what they've done so far is very nice try the Fulton Street area located down in the center of the past the casino there's a Market Restaurants Deli and Bar that's non-smoking. Also the oyster bar is very good there. Never stayed in the hotel but I understand they are remodeling that also

The renovated rooms are fantastic! Only complaint is that the water pressure in the sink and toilet is low. The shower has great pressure, but the lack of a proper door can leave a mess. Be sure to put a towel down! I stayed here years ago, and vowed not to return. The remodeled rooms, plus the central location and pricing, made the return worth a try. Well worth it!

Looks kinda old and tattered. Nice piano bar with live entertainment daily. The piano bar was the best part. Had dinner upstairs at Ruth Chris steakhouse. Food was good, service not so much. I suppose an ok hotel and casino but you can easily find a better alternative?

Harrah's is a decent hotel on the strip. It's one of the cheaper ones if you want to be in the middle of the action. The staff is very friendly. The hotel rooms are decent for the price. Total Rewards and a lot of other chains introduced parking fee for hotels on the strip. You end up paying the fee even if you are a hotel guest.

Moderately average experience for a hotel in its class.
Decent food selection. I liked that the staff check IDs and the security watched the elevator traffic for party crashers. Clean enough. Gift shop had a bit of trouble with math. Overall very convenient location on the strip. Will have to revisit and try again.

I've been coming to this hotel nearly every year since 2004. This year, many of the rooms have been upgraded and it's a lot nicer than it used to be. Please be aware of the mandatory Resort fee that is tacked on to your room fee on a nightly basis. As of April 2018, the resort fee is $34 per night. That is over and above whatever advertised price you may have seen. This year, it took me an extra hour to get checked in because the desk clerk was looking up my name backwards. That is, she reversed my first and last name and could not find my reservation.

Problem with room keys (dead battery in door). Took over an hour and a half to resolve. Back and forth from 33rd floor to front desk 2x with my lunch in tow and spent some of the time sitting on the floor in the hall outside my room. Room is awesome. Housekeeping staff is great. Hotel is lovely. Would have given 5 stars if not for door issue. Disappointing and frustrating.

It is a casino in Vegas, so just like everything else there it is designed to take your money. We attempted to check in 30 minutes early and instead of telling us up front she waits to the end of the 10 minute check in process to tell us that will be an extra $30, we waited! The conference food was better than I anticipated. And the husband won some money, so it wasn’t all bad.

LOOK ELSEWHERE. The 3 rooms booked were not available when we arrived, we had to go into other temporary rooms and move "again" the next day. Somehow, the hotel messed up the booking. The wait at reception is a shocker, the lines are long and move very slow.

On the first 2 days we seemed to spend more time in reception than enjoying our holiday. For switching rooms, we were told to just go to the KEY line... It would be that simple. No....that line was long and slow, too. The rooms that were promised for 11.00am were not available *it was 2pm* and again the hotel were scrambling about trying to sort rooms. What a mess and painful having to stand in long lines wasting time.

Not professional at all. Other guests were also complaining about the service and they had experienced it before.

Our accommodation *deal* included a continental breakfast... What we didn't know was that the max value of the breakfast was $9.00 each. The "breakfast" is provided in Starbucks. Average coffee cost is $7.00. If you want a juice, it's not included... What it really means is that you get a whopping $9 voucher to spend... towards the cost of breakfast. Very poor for such a large hotel, the worst continental breakfast deal we've ever had in such a grand location as Vegas.

NO small fridge in the room, no coffee making facilities in the room and we were not in the cheapest rooms either.

Overall, location is good but we won't stay here again. There are many others close by that we have stayed at and had no issues.

The tower we stayed in for our visit was really starting to show its age. However, there are much nicer rooms available in the other towers. The casino floor is on the small size for a Las Vegas casino and it feels cramped most of the time. The tables and other games are too close together to really be all that comfortable. The ceiling is low in most areas and the stale cigarette smell is manageable but only barely. If it wasn't for the fact that the hotel is right next to the Sands convention center we would have rather stayed at Mandalay Bay. I would consider staying here again only because it's close to the convention center, but I would get one of the nicer rooms.

Great price for what you get. It looks and is way nicer inside than I expected. It's not the best hotel on the strip but it's definitely not slacking especially at the price point. Much better views and experience than the next hotel I stayed at and just as much on the strip

I am staying in the newly designed room. It is amazing. The bathroom has a huge glass sliding door, and three soap dispensers. So no more leaking soaps tubes now. The room is beautifully designed too. Nice open space yet it does not feel empty.

I'm utterly shocked at the redesign. The only thing that looks the same is the logo! My room was impeccable, contemporary, luxurious, comfortable and perfect appointed. The staff have always been great, the food was delicious and the parking is convenient. Harrah's has always been a good deal, but at this price Harrah's transitioned away from looking like a garish Holiday Inn, you only sleep at, to a desirable location you want to stay at. I didn't even bother visiting a lot of other casinos this trip. I just stayed in my room!

I was pleasantly surprised regarding the rooms at Harrah's. The rooms must have been renovated pretty recently. The decor is much more modern with glass bathroom doors and new light fixtures. I LOVE the fact the rooms have a small vanity with it's own light up mirrors, perfect for girls to put on their makeup! The room was very reasonably priced and is pretty much on the strip. I only took off a star since you still have to pay for separate parking fees.

While the hotel it's self as far as the casino and most of the towers are dated and in need of updating. They are all exceptionally Clean. The Valley tower has been updated and the rooms are extremely nice and as the rest very clean. I was impressed with the housekeeping staff how friendly and helpful they were to my numerous requests and most of them being after hours. The associates at the gift shop as well as the representatives at The total rewards desks are very knowledgeable and very willing and ready to help when needed. There is security at the elevators and they are consistent. It gives you that extra feeling of safety as they require a room key for all guest wishing to access the elevators. If you are booking a room make sure you request a room in the valley tower. It was a pleasure to stay at Harrah's and very peaceful and quiet but just steps from your hotel room to the las Vegas strip.

Most of the rooms here have been remodeled and their pretty nice. The elevators are fast, cell service seems to work well throughout, and there is free wifi on the first floor (useful in the food court).

Speaking of the food court, none of the food there is good except the little pastry and coffee place up front. Other than that, it's a good size, has several TVs, and is usually comfortable and quiet if you want to get away but out of your room.

There are some good shows here, like Mac King and Tenors of Rock.

Great casino! Had a lot of fun playing penny slots. The buffett was good and had a great selection of different foods, definitely something for everyone. The dueling piano bar was a lot of fun and really got the crowd involved. We also enjoyed the carnival bar just out side the door, very talented bar tenders (they were all doing flair while mixing our drinks). Harrah's has a great fun vibe!

My experience at this hotel was awesome. I celebrated my 21st birthday in Vegas , and I had a great time. This hotel is on the strip and the center of everything. we stayed in the newly remodeled rooms in the valley tower. The beds were VERY comfortable, the room and bathroom were clean , and the view from the room was superb. Also , check in and check out process was simple , but allow enough time to check out and check in because people are constantly checking in and out all times of the night since the hotel is pretty big. The next time I'm in Vegas I would be staying at the Harrah's hotel , and I recommend everybody to stay here too!

Such a wonderful hotel! The buffet flavors is so good right on the main floor of the hotel. Early check-in is only $30 which was awesome because I got in at 10am. The bed was so comfortable the bathroom was amazing and the room service was great. You are close to so much food options as well and the Linq is literally right next to the front door!

Great casino with good poker and table games. The table minimums are high ($50 craps and $25 blackjack) during the weekends, but overall a good atmosphere. They are also plenty to do if you are not into gambling. There are at least six different restaurant with tons of food court options. A great outdoor patio area and a few sprinkling of stores.

I was fairly surprised that this casino has been renovated (or at least it appeared to be). The bathrooms were all clean and smelled fresh. The bathroom attendent that just so happened to come in her name was Lisa; we told her she is doing a GREAT job. My only complaint is that the unit to pay for parking was only on one level; they should have it on all floors of the garage.

I went to Flavors Buffett for Thanksgiving dinner. The food was fresh, hot and delicious. I love a buffet with lots of different meat choices. They had prime rib,( melt in my mouth good) turkey, ham, crab legs and shrimp. The waitstaff were nice, they took away dirty dishes promptly. I would recommend trying out Flavors if you are in or near Harrah's.

From the check in this place has been amazing. We stayed in a newly renovated room, decorated nicely in a modern style. The front desk person, Melissa was super friendly and made sure our stay was set up right. She took care of a lot of details, places to eat, shows to see, how we wanted the room to be.

I was pleasantly surprised how great this trip was!

Exceptionally long lines and waiting time to both check-in and check-out at all times of the day/night. I stayed here as just s "quick" rest stop on our way out to camping at Zion and ended up getting to our room 2 hours after we initially arrived due to the slow service and poor management system they have in place. The automatic check-in kiosks also did not work causing an even greater wait time in line. Upon arrival to the room, it was terribly outdated and frankly not much better than a cheap roadside motel. The A/C was really loud making it hard to sleep. No view, no fridge or other amenities to help keep our packed food cool, not even water cups! The price was cheap and I was able to book it last minute, but that's about all I found good about this place. Would have gladly spent a few extra dollars for a better place elsewhere. Would not recommend.

The check in process was spectacular. The lady at the front desk was quick and incredibly nice and welcoming. However, the hotel was undergoing renovations during my stay and there were ladders and construction material in a few places. My room was very quiet and had no noise from other rooms. Harrahs is also in a pretty central location on the strip. Worth it for the location and the price.

Nice hotel for the cheap price. The view from our window was nice, enjoyed the view of the high roller. Really liked that the windows opened a little too!! They only open out a little bit but out of all the other hotels I stayed at on the strip none of them had windows you could open at all, so that was nice. Employees were also very nice, we got stranded at a dounut shop a couple miles away before checkout and they graciously extended our late check out for free. Really meant a lot to us, as we were absolutely broke at that point in the vacation. Overall a good hotel with wonderful employees.
