Overall good experience at the Culloden, I spent my birthday here with my girlfriend and had a meal at the Cultra Inn and drinks at the Lough Bar, the service from Peter at the bar was excellent and he made our time there feel extra special, the reason for the 4 stars is that we were told it was one hour slots for the spa but when we entered there was a lot of people in the hot tub and they were in it the entire time we were in the spa meaning we could not get to use it, the rest of the spa was good especially the sauna as it had excellent views, we enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return!
Culloden estate and spa is a fantastic venue for group dinners or weddings which is what we we were at last night. It has loads of different sized function rooms and ours was a medium sized for 60-80 people. It has its own bar in the main reception area with a balcony area out bar that has also plenty of seating. I've had large company dinners here at over 400 people which also has always ran really well. Lastly for any vegetarians we had a fantastic curry bean with halloumi and sweet potato. Highly recommended.
