Wonderful place to stay. Right off of the interstate, on the way to the Amanas Colonies. The owners were very friendly and attentive to their guess needs.Clean rooms, lobby and pool area.

Great value for the price! A room with two queen beds and a refrigerator (for goods purchased in the Amana Colonies!) was only $88. Rooms were clean with free Starbucks coffee. The owners/hosts were very gracious.

Heritage Inn Amana Colonies is an absolutely fantastic place to stay. It has been a few years since we have been able to go, but we have stayed here many times over the years. We took our dogs the first couple times, but took them to boarding after that. We never realized that they no longer accept pets since we hadn't had our dogs with us for so long. Because of so many people's dogs causing problems in the hotel, they no longer accept pets. Even though this was incredibly disappointing, we still have nothing but great things to say about Sandy, his mom and this facility. We will definitely stay here again when we are back in the area.

My son and I were very happy with the accommodations at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable and had all of the amenities that you would need. A ggod value for what we received.

Exceptional place to stay. The hotel is owned and operated by a mother and her son. They are very accomodating. Very friendly. They answer all your questions. The room was very clean and quiet. Would highly recommend that hotel. We will need staying there any time we are in the area.

I was really pleased with how clean and affordable my stay was. I was kind of surprised with how clean everything was, most of my past experiences have been less than satisfactory. Great location, right off the Interstate, and convenient!

Quaint, country hotel, conveniently located. The owner is a kind and thoughtful woman. The hotel was fairly clean, but no amenities in the room other than two servings of coffee. Fridge and microwave were extra fee. No serving of breakfast and no eating in the lobby sitting area. Otherwise, not too bad for a motor lodge in rural Iowa.

Check-in was efficient & owner was extremely pleasant & informative! Room was clean & tidy. Easy to find with plenty of free parking.

We were unable to make it to our reservation. And had to cancel the afternoon we were scheduled to check in. After I checked with the 1 800 number, that told me we would be changed because we canceled too late, I called the hotel front desk. I spoke to Sandy, he understood our situation and cancelled our reservation at no charge. I was impressed and would highly recommend this hotel and am looking forward to being able to stay at this hotel! Sandy, your the best. Thank you.

This is a fine place to stay. We use this hotel a few times per year and always get a good clean room at a reasonable rate, which is what we are looking for. The two owners (mother and son) are friendly and polite and they even remember us. Most of the people complaining in these reviews are cheapskates looking to get something for nothing at the cost of a locally owned small business, how rude.

We stayed there this weekend and were very satisfied !! The bed was very comfortable, room was very nice to be in, everything was clean (and I'm pretty hard to impress as I am a house cleaning business owner ). The owner and his mom were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again. Thanks

We arrived at the Heritage Inn at 1:30 am and Sandy was there to greet us. We had 5 rooms and it did not take him any time at all to get us checked in and off to our rooms!! I left some things in the room and Sandy and his mother offered to mail them to me. Small town customer service at work!!! Thanks to Sandy & his Mom!!!
