This is a very nice place.... if you don’t mind paying 5 star prices for what I would say is a 3.5 star hotel. The staff, other than the bell hops, is rude and distant. Can even say cold. The only place I ever stayed at that the housekeepers don’t even say good morning. The house keeper didn’t even refill, the coffee, cups, or soap... doubt she even changed the sheets.

During check in we were told we would receive a text by the promised 4pm check in time... when we didn’t I called and was told that the front desk doesn’t have access to the housekeeping schedule and don’t know when my room would be ready. Asked for a manager and they said there wasn’t one and someone would call me back... never happened. Got our room at 515...

Be aware that you may also get a room in the motel looking area where people smoke everywhere and have parties. Not just that... THE BUGS/flies are tremendous if you get a room outside.

Bottom line is that the prices don’t justify staying here!

When we visit the Hershey Lodge, it is almost always to eat at The Bears Den. Great food and service. Family friendly. Staff is usually friendly and attentive. It is similar to a sports bar in that it has TVs on with different sports playing, music on the speakers and can certainly be noisy. The food is phenomenal and the options for kids is good.

Hershey lodge is clean with well appointed clean rooms. The staff is beyond accommodating and friendly. My husband and I took our 3 yr old nephew and they provided a pack n' play for him to sleep in which was very helpful. This hotel also provides a shuttle service to Hershey Park. All of the restaurants, gift shop, and public areas including the indoor and outdoor pool are spotless. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely book another vacation here. Just awesome..

Excellent resort! All I can say, is I wish we would have booked more time here. We will definitely be going back through. We stayed there for my daughters birthday and we all had a great time. They really made her feel special for her birthday. The lodge is very nice inside and out. There are plenty of food options available right on the resort. They offer free shuttle to and from Hershey park, that runs continuously throughout the day. There is plenty to do at the resort, and the sad thing is we didn't have time to do all of them. The entire staff, that we dealt with, was extremely pleasant and helpful. The entire resort is very clean and elegant. I hope you like chocolate, because there is plenty of it here. We were very happy with our whole experience here and will definitely be back soon!

We attended a trade show in the show hall here, followed by a catered dinner by the cooks of the Lodge. I highly recommend it! The kitchen even made special plates of food for my mother and me because of our food allergies! Splendid job!

Lodge was clean, family friendly, and the water park was awesome! Food prices were reasonable. Workers of the lodge are welcoming and friendly. Activities are offered throughout the day for the children and are free!! We played an hour of bingo with the kiddos. A really good time.

I went to the Hershey Lodge for a conference. The food was great! There rooms were set up pretty well. Some rooms don't have many electrical outlets but there seemed to be enough for our conference because people weren't actively using their computers the whole time. I'm not sure if they might have other tables or power drops if you anticipate needing more access for attendees. Restrooms were large and clean. Even though there was more than one conference, there was never a line. It seemed like there was plenty of parking.

Place is stunning, with stunning grounds. Very close to Hershey park and they offer a shuttle service which makes it very convenient. There are plenty of restaurants and food places within the hotel which is a great option. Definitely worth every penny if you are staying here. Service is top notch.

Wildly overpriced. It's a glorified MOTEL...NOT a lodge.

Parking is no where near the OUTSIDE-DOOR, room access... and direct-WALL AC units (motel).

Big wet spot on the fungus-odor room which they could neither correct or determine the cause. Over 500 a night. We have stayed at lodges across the country. This is no lodge.

Huge need for massive renovation at this "lodge"

Really a huge disappointment.

Stay somewhere else until they correct the situation.

Our stay here was wonderful. The main reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is that the food at the lodge is just ok. The breakfast buffet in Fire and Grain is worth the stop though! They offer a buffet as well as omelettes (included in the buffet price).

One other item of note is that the game room near the pool features a ticket reward system that enables you to "earn" (buy) toys. Some of these games (in my opinion) are just gambling: they have a wheel (think Wheel of Fortune) you can spin and win points based on where it stops and they have a claw machine with toys stuffed in the container so tightly the claw can't pull them out--- NOT fair!

We loved our stay at the lodge. The amenities were great! Our kids really liked the water park. The restaurants were very good. Our favorite one was The Hershey Grill. They even had homemade chocolate butter to go with the bread that was brought before our meal. Yum!! Our little boys loved the kids' check-in.
They were given lanyards to wear, signed the check-in book, and guessed the amount of Hershey kisses in the jar. They also loved the Hershey bars that were given during check-in. As a perk of our stay, we were given free tickets to the botanical gardens and the Hershey museum. The hotel had a lot of extra touches to make our stay enjoyable. We can't wait to go back!

For the price of the room I would’ve expected a bit more. The person at the front desk directed me to the wrong part of the hotel, which was incredibly inconvenient while lugging around a bunch of luggage and an exhausted young child. I was also surprised that there was no mini fridge in the room. Otherwise it seemed to be pretty nice. The room was a decent size and even though I didn’t particularly care for the scent personally, the chocolate scented shampoo and conditioner are a fun touch. The indoor water area was smaller than what I expected, though we only walked through and didn’t swim. It’s unfortunate that we were only there for a night and didn’t have a great experience. There may be other amenities that make this hotel worthwhile, but we didn’t get the chance to experience them and I’m not sure we’d go back.

Upon arriving at the Hershey Lodge for a Church Conference well weekend, my family and I were welcomed by the warm and accommodating staff. As expected from a city whose origins are tied to candy, we were given complimentary Hershey Bars. The House Keeping change the linens every 3 days of a guest's visit unless you all otherwise, however they do provide new towels and clean the room daily. This is Hershey Lodge doing their part to be as "green" as possible. Due to the rain, we couldn't go to Hershey Park, but we got a chance to go to the indoor Water Park. The kids loved it. I was appreciative the water want to feel for my kids to need a parent in the water with them. There was on duty life guards as well. We will be back sometime this summer to redeem or Hershey Park tickets.

The best way to describe this hotel is exquisite. I have attended multiple conferences here and each has been nearly perfect. There is chocolate in EVERYTHING! The food and snacks are all top notch and the service is impeccable. Rooms are comfortable and the common areas are beautiful. I highly recommend this lodge. I would love to visit with children to check out the many activities offered.

Overall, this is a great hotel for conferences. Some of the rooms may be further away from the convention area than many would like, but the Lodge itself is a solid hotel. I'm not sure if I'd take my family here, as the rooms appear to be pretty dated. If going to Hershey Park, I may look at other options with my family - but for business conferences, this hotel is just right. There was an abundant amount of towels in my queen-sized two bedroom, and the amenities are all chocolate-infused (shampoo, conditioner, soap) but it seems that chocolate body wash is not offered as an amenity.

Chocolate lovers dream. There wa so much attention to detail in the room. The artwork, the soap and shampoo, the lotion to even the sheets had chocolate accents. The room was very inviting and the staff was super helpful. They provided us with bed rails for our toddler. We had dinner at the Grill. The food was tasty and the drink were great. We had banana fosters bread pudding for dessert. Definitely give that a try. For breakfast the following morning we ate at fire and grain. Again the staff was friendly and the food was tasty. My lady and child enjoyed a few hours at the indoor pool. I stayed behind and got some much needed rest.

Went off season when their rates are affordable. Water park area is geared towards very young children, not enough seats for their guests, which can be annoying. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotel is beautiful, plenty of parking. We loved the restaurant on premises "Bears Den" Great apps and great prices! Wish we could afford to go peak season but their rates are way too expensive. We loved the Hershey Lodge!

A good lodge! Staff is MOSTLY kind and helpful (some are unfriendly and rude). Prices are NOT reasonable ($6 for a small smoothie!? Really!? That’s unacceptable for a family lodge. This isn’t a 5-star, gourmet hotel). Place is clean and kept. Elevators are SLOW (faster to use staircase). Lighting is poor, but decor is great. Perfect location for parties, getaways, conventions, or group vacations.

The Mattresses in our room are as hard as concrete! The hotel is beautiful. Not sure about other floors but we are in a york peppermint patty room and I will be spending another night sleeping on the floor on pillows. Came from hotels in Chicago and Cleveland and this bed is absolutely the most painful experience! The restaurants are wonderful. The staff at check in was very sweet. When calling about the bed and to ask for a cot the women that I spoke to could care less. Kids loved the waterpark and game room. I would NOT stay here again because I do not pay to sleep on a floor!

Great location, decor is very nice with a cabin feeling to it. Updated restaurants for all kinds of tastes! Staff is friendly and always willing to help, rooms are updated and beds are very comfortable +1 for having updated smart TVs that let you cast right to your rooms television. Only reason of the one star removal was the popcorn in the bed, I imagine just an oversight as the sheets were all nicely done. On sight water park for the kiddies too!!

I was there for a conference. There are PLENTY of large spaces for many events. There is an indoor pool with lots of slides and games for kids. Arcade, Lego room (my favorite), mini golf outside. The rooms were spacious and nice, with unlimited of hot water and good water pressure. There are 2 bars, one closes around 11, and the other at 2am. Decent food, food prices were ok but the drinks were pretty expensive. Oh and chocolate scented everything, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, even the air smelled chocolatey (it is after all Hershey). The beds and pillows were comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful.

We and the absolute best time the one night we started at the lodge. The staff were friendly, the room was clean, and the indoor water park was amazing! Not only did we have a blast at the water park, there were even activities through the day to keep kiddos busy and having fun! It’s nice to see a hotel that is so welcoming if children but still has the nice adult-centered areas as well.

Great hotel that took very good care of us. It never hurts to be given chocolate check in and have chocolate on your pillows every day when you come back. We were there for a convention and the convention area was very nice well kept and details were attended to. There was quite a wide variety of dining options. We were very appreciative to have more than enough right inside that building probably were there for the conference so no need to leave until our conference was done.

Parking was pretty tight. But they do have parking spread all around the various sides of the hotel.

Where to begin. The story of Hershey himself is amazing. The decor is dated but very functional. Access to the mini water park is a nice touch. Overall, they do try and make your stay comfortable. There are some things that need improvement, but, the staff promptly fixed those issues and made them right. Before you leave, the Hershey martini is a must!

I was very pleased in our stay here at the Hersey Lodge. Everyone was very nice. I praise the cleaning crew on keeping up with everything in the hotel! They even set up our stuffed animals on the bed in a cute position. I had a great time, felt welcomed and respected. Plus the coffee in the cafe was the best I've ever had... better than the dunkin coffee I drink from work

Was there for Weekend to Remember . Enjoyed it very much. Food was great. Personal was nice. The only thing was toilet needed to be fixed in our room. Needs to be stabilized. It rocked and made a noise when shifting side to side. Housekeeping left what they needed to. Public restrooms were very clean. Experience was a positive one.

The Hershey Lodge is a perfect weekend getaway for families. We took our 2 year old son for a winter trip. He had an absolute blast in the water works. While it was crowded it was never so packed that we felt impacted by the crowd. All of the restaurants served great food, at what I would expect to be typical resort prices, a bit high but not crazy enough to make me want to travel in to town instead. The rooms were spacious and very well maintained. A family of 4 would fit comfortably in a standard 2 queen room. Overall, we had a blast and plan to return in the future.

I had business at the nearby medical college and my stay at the lodge was convenient. It is a nice place with lots of family things to do in the area. The lodge served my business stay well the only thing I thought could be better was the breakfast options and start times. The cafe was open early but it only had coffee and lighter fare. The restauraunt started at 7 which only just early enough for my start. Great stay enjoyed the lodge and area.

The cleaning staff was very nice. Our room wasn't clean when we got there, but they rectified the problem quickly and got us into a new room. The hotel was clean, and we didn't have to wait to eat. Staff at the restaurants were friendly and provided good service. The food was good. There were a few little things that could have made the experience better, such as kisses on the pillows, but all in all, it was a great experience, and we will definitely stay there again.

My kids and I spent a very nice day and a half at the lodge. The indoor pool, slide and hot tub was refreshingly warm compared to the freezing cold temperature outside. This was on Christmas day and the pool was busy but not overcrowded. The snacks at the pool were reasonably priced and large in quantity. The fireplaces inside the lodge were gorgeous and very welcoming with comfortable seating around them. We enjoyed eating at the restaurants and overall had a great time!

Hershey Park Lodge is spectacular! We enjoyed the Christmas Sweet Lane package! it was our first visit during the winter months and its so nice to see kids enjoy the park and the sweet lights show was amazing. The indoor pool is perfect for families with little one, the lodge had so many activities and this is a very clean hotel. We really enjoyed it. Great prices!

I was at a work function. We were allowed to bring one guest and stayed at the lodge having dinner and dancing for 5 hours. The food was great however 1 server who served our section was not very pleasant all of the other wait staff or phenomenal and professional. Our server in particular was unfriendly and unprofessional, and was rude and short with us. She threw down our salads and could not get our orders straight. My company has the same gala every year at the lodge and has mostly had pleasant experiences. However this year was not to that standard. Now to be fair, this was a large function with around 1,000 guests attending. Obviously no one can speak for what this server had to put up with earlier in her day, however her service left something to be desired. All in all I enjoyed the event and look forward to next year's event at the Hershey Lodge.

Love the Hershey Lodge! I have only been here for conferences, but it is second to none when it comes to hosting these. They have a few good restaurants, with the Bears Den being the best of them. Always enjoy my time here. Great setting and friendly staff. They now have a newly remodeled water park thing for the family.

I've been coming to Hershey nearly all my life, and nearly every visit have stayed in the Lodge (stayed in the Hotel Hershey the other times). I have lots of memories invested in this place, and it keeps getting better and better. Glad to continue the tradition with my own family. Top notch facilities and service, lots to do. Right in the heart of some of the most beautiful farmland you've seen. Mr. Hershey created something special here. Makes my heart happy just to think about it.

What a beautiful place. There is a store inside the lodge where you can buy candies, chocolates or souvenirs. We were there for a Boy Scout event. Honoring the Eagle Scouts of 2016. The meal was delicious & served by a wonderful staff. The dessert was to die for.

We stayed here for Thanksgiving 2017 and visited some of their Christmas attractions. The room was clean (even the carpet!, rare for kid friendly resorts) and every employee we met was friendly. The attention to detail is over the top. Even the sheets have Hershey Kisses on them! We called room service five minutes before close and they accommodated best they could, much appreciated.

The indoor water park is smaller than some of the purpose built indoor water parks in the Poconos, but clean and well maintained. No complaints. Same with the arcade - small, but good. Kids loved everything.

Earlier this year we stayed at Disney World Resorts. Roughly the same price and a comparable room size. Not even close, Hershey Lodge was much better. Also, at Hershey the employees seem to genuinely care about you. Disney felt forced.

We booked the lodge for a holiday getaway. With two young kids the water park being indoors was a great option. I thought the water park was colder in air and water temperature then other indoor parks I've been to. The hotel feels very disjointed with areas scattered throughout the campus. It looks like they periodically have added on to it each time thinking this is the last time. The staff is great here especially since we went over Thanksgiving. Overall a great weekend away.

This place was awesome, had a blast. Room was nice, and everyone was super friendly and down to earth. Lots of families and kids, but that was expected. The new water park and arcade were awesome and so much fun. The only bummer I would say was it was so crowded we never were able to grab a seat by the fireplaces or common areas, but not really a big deal. Would go back in a heartbeat. Well done HL!

Very pleasant staff and well maintained "common areas".
The place could use more attention to detail in updating their rooms/bathrooms. Makeshift fixings in the bathroom were less to be desired. I felt like we were in a super 8 motel inside the room until I walk back down to a common area.

there are so many wonderful things about this hotel. staff is responsive to all questions/concerns. the water park, mini golf and arcade are great. the food and coffee are wonderful. the only bummer is the mattress. we stayed in a double and neither was comfortable. When my wife and I took a weekend trip to Hershey, we wanted to stay somewhere that felt like an experience, and the Hershey Lodge met every expectation. The facilities are beautiful, clean, and cozy (especially the fireplace in the lobby). The indoor waterpark(!) is amazing, the staff are all so courteous and helpful, the rooms have everything you can ask for, and you get free chocolate for any reason or no reason at all. We will definitely be booking further stays here in the future.

I called here to book a reservation and I'm so happy! A lady named Kathy was so informative and pleasant and help guided me towards my family's stay here since there are 3 different resorts and I had no clue which one to pick since it's our first time coming here. She explained the difference in packages and the hotels and was so polite and patient! Like the customer service here is amazing can't wait to enjoy my stay.

Stayed two nights. Had a great time. Many places to eat within the lodge without needing to drive out, which is good because there doesn't seem to be enough parking spots to accommodate so many guests. Which makes the complimentary shuttle bus service to Hershey Park super helpful. The water works is fun, especially the big tube slides. But I didn't quite understand why they had to close the indoor pool when there were thunderstorms outside. All in all I would love to return and stay again another time.

Rooms were great, clean, spacious, comfortable. Windows were on the small side by you're not here to stay in the room anyway. It would help if you could make reservations at the restaurants at the hotel, especially when you're in large groups or have young kids with you. Location is good with frequent shuttles to the attractions. Pool and activities are great for kids, with appropriate levels for kids at different ages. Staff are generally very helpful and service oriented. Elevators can get packed at busy times causing long waits to get on. Overall very good experience, would recommend for families with young kids.

I have stayed here several other times, but this was the first time with Water Works, the indoor water park at the resort. The kids loved it! And having the Cocoa Cabana right there meant we could eat dinner there and not have to leave until it closed. Such a great addition. We love Hershey Lodge!

Overall the room was sufficient. Wish there was a microwave, however. Paid extra for cake, balloons, plush characters & card for my husband's birthday. So worth it. It came exactly when I scheduled it to and it was a sweet touch to start the day. The characters should be roaming all day as there are always people coming and going. Food was delicious everywhere. Shuttle buses are so helpful and have the nicest drivers. Will be returning.

I have been going to a yearly event at the Lodge for the past 6 years. Every year has been excellent and the organization that hosts does a fantastic job. Delicious food, great service and clean comfortable atmosphere. This year was slightly different. Food was still great, but the structure of events was odd. Still a very accommodating venue.

Hotel is nice and clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They do a great job of getting you into the mood of the stay with chocolate bars when you arrive. Everything is themed well, though the hotel isn't decorated excessively. Rooms are tiny but that is to be expected. Probably a bit pricey compared to other local locations, but easy to take the shuttle every where.

Cocoa Cafe at Hershey Lodge is better than Starbucks (less crowded and better coffee). They have a warm and lodge-like (Aspen--ish) atmosphere. I use it a lot when I need to get away and study. Also they give discounts to season pass holders.

The hotel itself looked nice. The staff is OK, not great like we expected for the price and hype. We asked for more towels in our room and no one ever brought them. The walls are also very thin. We could clearly hear adults talking as they walked by our room. The included parts (Water Works, Hershey Gardens, free shuttle to the park) were the best part.

The Hershey Lodge has been the location of many gatherings that I have attended because it is so fantastically staffed. The cooks bring the best possible food to the table and the service staff, especially the bussing staff, were exceptionally helpful and kind. The lodge accommodated more than enough room for the event, which included a dining hall large enough for the nearly 1000 employees in attendance, as well as a separate room to accommodate the Health and Wellness Fair which was also part of the event. They helped set up all the sound and lighting for the company rally as well as provided top notch care to all of our employees. I can't say enough about this venue, it has also been the destination of 2 of my high school proms as well as the winter gala for our company. Every year we have 2 events at the Lodge and every year we are not disappointed.

Went for dinner to Fire and Grain. The food was excellent though a bit on the expensive side. Strawberry and arugula salad was both sweet and tangy. Gemelli pasta was decadent with nice chunks of short rib. Waitress did a fine job though bus staff was not quite as attentive as we would have liked. Ambience was very much like a family restaurant which was a disconnect due to the high prices.

The Hershey is more an experience than a stay overnight. There are several restaurants attached, a Hershey themed store, and the indoor water park was of course the star for our 3 year old. Food and drinks all have chocolate themes but luckily you can break from that as needed. The room was in fine shape though loose outlets, some grime in the tub and with our location, lots of hall noise all night raised an eye brow. Overall, you are paying for a stay in Grand chocolate central, and it is worth it. The hotel staff are excellent and all seem to have a smile. Food and drinks are consistently good as well. The indoor water park is a must attend if you have kids, so pack accordingly. Towel checkout is available in the pool area, there is also an arcade and snack bar. My family traveled a lot over the weekend, but we got enough of a feel to say we would go back without hesitation.

Great hotel for families. Rooms were clean and decent sized. Staff was super friendly. Water park was fun for the kids. Food was good and priced as expected for a themed hotel. Only drawback was the parking situation as the hotel is so big and there are few parking spots in each section. Thus you may have to park in another section and find your way back to your building.

We stayed at a lodge for two nights. Room services were great and staff working here are pleasantly helpful and kind. Kids pool were not big at all compared to Great Wolf lodge, but just about the right size for my 6 year old. And it is well maintained. I would definitely come back for another time. Enjoy!!

For the money you'd expect a little more. The rooms are over due for an update. They really need a sky bridge or something to get to Hershey Water Works from the Reese's wing by the Lobby. We had to walk outside and then across a parking lot area. The people are very nice though, the service was very good all over the hotel.

Lovely property. Rooms are clean and modern. Air conditioning is great and pool is wonderful. The lights are dim in the rooms, and they make the lobby smell too much like chocolate. Food is so so.

Another trip to the Hershey Lodge to plan for the Eastern Christian Conference and another great experience. The hotel staff is top-notch and the convention center staff is unmatched in their professionalism and thoughtfulness. Hershey Lodge is always a great place to stay and hold conferences.

My family and I took a mini vacation to the lodge to visit the new indoor water park. We had a fantastic trip. The water park was not crowded, great for our four year old and nine month old, monitored by diligent life guards, and clean. We enjoyed the family friendly environment more so than our recent trip to great wolf. The food was good at the Bear's Den, Hershey Grill, and the Cocoa Cabana. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly and attentive. We are planning a return visit during the Christmas Season so we can visit the park as well.

This is not my first time to the Lodge. The conference facilities are fantastic. Comfortable rooms, spacing, and walking distance. Service exceptional. Lunch was served incredibly fast to a huge number of people. Always worth the trip.

In Chocolatetown for dinner function at the lodge. Food was delicious! Tower room was comfortable and quiet. My companion did not like the bed. I had no problem.
Would like to see a better bar situation in the lobby, or table service. Maybe 10 can be served comfortably.
The set up for the Bears Den is not great hanging at their bar. Table service is not great.
Drinks are expensive, not sure why.
There is a large coffee restaurant that does not serve breakfast. So back to the Bears Den which is like eating in a hockey rink, bright, loud and uncomfortable. $11.50 for eggs and bacon and another $3.50 for coffee, nothing special here. Morning service :( not great.
They pipe chocolate fragrance into the lobby. Large ballrooms, conference rooms and staff support. Parking can be far away from the room.

This place is amazing. The spa is the most penultimate spa experience, and the food is to die for. I feel like I'm Charlie in the chocolate factory, everything smells like chocolate and jolly ranchers.

Very decorative facility and gigantic. Comfortable tables and professional looking hall. Our room was medium size and very pleasant and quiet while just a few doors away was a giant convention and we heard none of their noise.

The location was great. The wait staff and service were great, everyone was really friendly and helpful. Attended a large marriage conference and the venue was well suited for it. Wished there was better food times and options available for the event, however. The rooms were comfortable and neat, but could be more thorough with their cleanliness.

Very clean, welcoming, accommodating to all of the needs of our large organization. Very inviting w lots of shops, meeting rooms, hospitality rooms & the central bar w the fire place was very cozy. The rooms were a little too pricey especially since u needed to pay extra for the 2nd guest.

Came for a professional conference. The facility was very clean and welcoming. The staff was fantastic. The only downside was the lack of parking for all guests. I had to park at the Giant Center and take a shuttle back to the Lodge.

My experience at the Hershey Lodge was phenomenal! The food was better than I could have imagined and the rooms were very nice. The chocolate-scented soap was a bonus.

Check-ins took forever, as there were only 2 members of staff at the counter, for a large amount of people. Both the regular line, and the express line were full, and we waited in line for about 45 minutes.
One of our rooms was not ready at the time we arrived, and we were told we would get a text message when it was ready. We waited over an hour, and eventually I went to speak to a member of hotel staff (after calling the concierge desk several times, and no one answered) to find out it had been ready for a good while, with no text message or phone call.
If you do stay here, I recommend that you do not let your skin touch the sheets. I woke up the next morning with rashes on my arms and legs only in areas that had touched the sheets. I've never had this reaction before, so I'm not sure what they use to clean the sheets, but my skin burned to the touch for two days. I'm not a person with sensitive skin, nor do I have many allergies to anything, so I was surprised to see my skin react in such a way.
We did enjoy the Grill, but I don't recommend the coffee shop in the lobby. Never had a iced latte so terrible. I could only take a few sips. The lower score for the review was mostly due to the poor customer service we experienced - it seemed only because of the large volume of people that were there that day. None of the staff were rude at all, and when we were finally able to get the information we needed, they were nice and helpful. Otherwise, the hotel is beautiful and clean. It seemed the other guests enjoyed the indoor pool, and other amenities. There were a lot of kids there, and it looked like they were all having a lot of fun, so it's definitely a kid friendly place. I did hear some people complain about the room sizes, but I'm not entirely sure how big they think their rooms need to be. The rooms were a great size, the bathroom was clean, and the furniture was nice.

Great family value - endless entertainment for the kids. We did the lodge for a day with our son and a few other families. The kids stayed busy in the pool and slides all day. 2nd day we did chocolate world and all the kids loved it.

The rooms are Hampton Inn original quality. Slightly dated but more than comfortable and clean for the family.

From an affordability standpoint, I don't think I've had this much activity over a day & 1/2 with lodging for the price even if I double what we paid. We will go again....lots of fun even though we never stepped foot in the park.

I was here for a company event. We ended up staying over night as well. The event was wonderful (great Christmas atmosphere and food), bars were great for late night hangouts, and the indoor pool was good for a quick swim. Staff was friendly and made things efficient. Room was clean and comfy.

Have spent many weekend trips with extended family here. Last trip, I read something about their high customer return rate - we're definitely contributing to that statistic! Fun restaurant and great pool - great for kids

Is it safe to say that Milton Hershey was a bit of a perfectionist. It is easy to see it in the staff, accommodations, food and experience that you take away from this exemplary property. We love it and will be looking forward to attending events here in the future. I highly recommend it for any and all travelers whether it's business or pleasure it's all great.

Stopped by the Hershey Grill for lunch. Ordered the calamari for an appetizer which was really good, although the sauce they include was a little too tangy for my wife and I. She ordered the cheese steak quesadilla which in my opinion was great, and the bacon ranch sauce was excellent too. However, she thought it was too oily. I ordered a cheeseburger with pepperjack cheese and it was excellent. One of the better burgers (within reason) that I've had. Overall an enjoyable visit to the Hershey Grill, although I personally think the prices are a little high.

Waitress was nice too, and with adequate service. She was a little predisposed with other tasks on a few occasions, but overall a solid B on the grading scale.

Very nice décor, and outdoor seating is available. If you go between 4-6pm I believe is happy hour as well which includes half off appetizers. If you've never been here before, give it a shot. We might be back, depending on how deep our wallets can go.

Nice place! Stayed with my husband and 3 year old over Labor Day weekend and visited Hershey Park. The room was nice and clean, bathroom needs updating. Nice to have a mini-fridge in the room but it wasn't very powerful (kept our drinks cool vs. cold). Had a breakfast package, the Bear's Den was a bit of a scramble for our first morning, they seemed overwhelmed and rushed, took longer than expected. We tried a sit down place the next morning and the experience was much better, they too had a buffet. Great shuttle service, there were waits here and there but nothing too terrible. LOVED being able to access the park an hour early, gave my husband the opportunity to hit up most roller coasters before the lines got crazy. My son had a fantastic time at the waterworks pool area, amazing amazing amenity and our room was right across it, super convenient! Would definitely come back again, perhaps next year!

Love the indoor pool. Sad it closed during rain. This is why people choose a place with indoor pool. A bit overpriced but every amenitie was at our fingertips. So can't complain. My son LOVED IT.

Beautiful place, a little overpriced for their food, but that is what you would expect.from a resort like place. Beautiful rooms, signage is a little confusing to find your building while driving. It's a really fun place for kids, has a small indoor water park with a couple big slides and some basketball hoops.

Overall, very nice.

My group checked in late yesterday after being on a long road trip and we were eager to just get some sleep. Needless to say our rooms were seemingly a mile trek from the main lobby in the Reeses section. My sister and here family are in one room and my family in two connecting rooms across the hall, all on the 1st floor. We could tell this area was dusty and high in moisture and mildew, but we gave it a try since it was 2:30am and we needed sleep. Both my sister and my son did not sleep well. Note if you have allergies or asthma do not stay on the 1st floor - it smells and feels like a basement. Anyway, we notified the front desk of the issues and they said they would move us to the tower section near the lobby and a higher floor. I am not sure if that will fix the problem but at least its a start. This place charges a lot of money and they should be able to do better. I attached pictures of the AC unit in my room as well to prove they need to pay more attention to details if they want to charge this kind of money. Frankly I feel we are paying Marriott or Sheraton level prices for motel 8 level product and service. I hope the manager does the right thing and reduces the rate at check-out to make amends. If this were a better hotel they would have offered to do more as soon as they were made aware of the problem.
Room Tip: If you have any respiratory issues note that this place is dusty and the 1st floor carries a lot of mold from pools being so close.

Always love staying at the lodge just last stay was put in a handicap room that was not as nice as other rooms refrigerator was not working upon arrival. Very disappointed in not being able to keep the glass when drinking one of the signature martinis especially when are paying so much for them they are now over priced.

Visited the lodge for a trade show. The staff was polite and the facility was well kept. Food served at the show was pretty good also
