Great property, not too far from LA. Rooms are well appointed and clean. Breakfast buffet is outstanding mix of Asian and American. Lots of Asian business s near by for food, fashion, massage, beauty shops etc.

Hotel staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Stayed here overnight. Very nice, clean, and modern. LOTS of Asian food around the plaza and general area. Loved how the pool is designed in the middle of the hotel because there will always be shade. Will definitely come back if I'm in the area.

Rooms were very nice. Service was very good. For gold members, they have breakfast available. Plenty of parking as well. Lots of Asian restaurants nearby within walking distance.

Just spent time at the lunch buffet and have to say the serving staff, food preparers and the facilities were well worth the visit. Very good quality and reasonable prices. Planning on visiting again.

This is one of the best hotels that I stayed. They are best in terms of the service.There are times we have to run to the lobby even in the big hotels but this Hilton is awesome.I have called many times to get extra coffee, milk, microwave food, tooth brush/paste,even lint remover :). They have sent everything on time. I am truly impressed.

I really enjoyed my stay here. I stayed in room 365. The bed was really comfortable and the bathroom was really nice too. The only problem I had was the light coming through the door from the hallway was very bright and the room didn't get as dark as I would have liked. I lost my toothbrush but calling the front desk, they supplied me with a toothbrush and toothpaste pretty quicky, under 5 minutes.

Great hotel, entire hotel looks brand new, clean and we'll maintained. Rooms are spacious and clean. Reasonable prices. Large pool, well maintained. Love the professional customer service from all the staff.

One of the most comfortable Hiltons I've ever stayed at! Had a long day of traveling and the front desk went out of their way to make me feel welcome and comfortable. Also one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in for a Hilton in this price range. The food was delicious as well!

I like staying at this hotel since it's in the heart of the 626 Asian food scene. It's right across the street from the 99 ranch market plaza with 5 star, Sam woo, and an array of boba shops. Parking is only $5 a night if you're a guest. Hotel is close to the 10 freeway so it's easy to downtown LA and Hollywood. Rooms are clean and normal size, standard Hilton. Staff was pleasant and friendly.

Very nice looking Hilton property. Professional staff and lots of space and roomy rooms. The suite they upgraded me to had a deep jetted tub and separate rain shower. TV did not work right in living room and one of the light bulbs was burned out between rooms. I also didn't appreciate the night light that you are unable to turn off in the bathroom lights up the entire suite at night. Would have been 5 stars if I didn't have to be the one to report the maintenance issues. The breakfast buffet was standard Hilton, but for some reason this location puts a ton of milk in the scrambled eggs after they are made. Making you squishnoit the milk with the serving spoon. Amazingly comfortable.pillows and huge bath towels.

Amazing decor, friendly and efficient customer service, decent parking set up $5 a night. Great area for Asian food and small strip mall attached to the hotel as well!! We will return at some point. This place is fantastic

Good location if you like oriental food especially Chinese, a lot of restaurants right downstairs and across street in the plaza. Room is clean and resonably modern. Basement garage is very easy to access. Very convenient place to stay.

I made a mistake in selecting a room on my Hilton Honors App and called in to change it. Hilton's customer service number routed me to a different location and long story short took a while for me to get to the right person.

After that, the person who picked up at the actual Hotel was awesome! She was really friendly and just can feel her warm hospitality.

We had some issues with the room because it was supposed to be set up a certain way. I appreciated that the staff took our concerns and made it work. Hotel is a bit older looking, but it was in a good location.

All good. The location best for food. Only thing not as good were the low water pressure at shower. Rooms clean and tidy hotel I'm satisfied.

Nice clean hotel. Free WiFi but pretty slow. Can't stream movies on it. Plus side is it's surrounded by lots of delicious food all walking distance.

Room is very nice. Bed is comfortable and clean. The design is a bit dated. Good location, surrounded by popular food and drink places. I appreciated that the room had all kinds of amenities, from shampoo, conditioner, soap, to hairdryer, iron and ironing table.

Excellent venue for a wedding. I have attended two weddings at this hotel and both were great. The ceremony for both were on the rooftop and the reception was indoors in one of the ballrooms. Self parking (free) is available at the hotel. The hotel is also located on a street with many restaurants which is great if you want to try different cusines.

Me and my husband was here visiting in California for our honeymoon. The rooms were clean and the welcoming we received from Shelly at your front desk was amazing. We informed her we had to take a early flight and wouldn't be able to get breakfast so she gave us goodie bags so we wouldn't be hungry. It didn't stop there we were leaving for the beach and asked her where can we purchase beach towels and she let us use some towels here at the hotel. She made us feel at home. We really appreciate her and im sure she has blessed others with her kindness and smile. If we ever come back to California we will definitely consider this property.

I love the Hilton San Gabriel. I've been frequenting it for over 12 years now. The staff will do anything to make your stay pleasant.

Service is great. They know how to treat their guests. Rooms are spacious. Location, convenient. You even get a gift bag and free slippers. We got a room that smelled of smoke. They sent an employee with a new key to move us without hesitation. Pool looks like it's indoor but it is actually outdoor

The hotel service was good. It was recognition of Hilton honors gold that was bad. My status was downgraded to blue right before I checked in. Finally the next day they fixed it. But after all the trouble I wasn't given an upgrade and the guy checking in next to me who was gold was offered an upgrade to a suite.

the wedding ceremony was on the third floor rooftop garden terrace. the area was neat and spacious. the flora looked great in the background. the dinner reception was held in the ballroom. the high ceilings and tasteful interior design felt classy and intimate at the same time. I enjoyed my time here.

Stay in a suite. The room is large and spacious. Bedding was very clean. It was white and spotless, the way I like. Has a spa tub in the bathroom. Staff was helpful and friendly. Maid came by to stock complimentery water bottles a couple times, which was nice. Room rate was on the expensive side. I guess youget what you pay for.

Great hotel breakfast with really fresh fruit! Make sure you don't get an even numbered room, they face the inside and you can't open your windows. Everything else is really nice!

Liked and recommended, friendly staff. However I wished to find a fridge in my room.
Also is a good spot to get to know Chinese culture and cuisine as it's surrounded by many good quality and traditional restaurants.

Attended the Hilton for a wedding on the 3rd floor. Place looks beautiful. Seats were old and dusty. Didn't seemed maintained. Otherwise great and lovely place to have a wedding.

I'll start of by saying I am a strict Marriott chain fan; but visiting this area, this Hilton was the best choice as the nearest Marriott chain was over 30 minutes away so I reluctantly booked this hotel. Boy was I shocked.

First the rooms were $159.00 a nice which is beyond reasonable for the area. When you walk in, the entrance is very grand well lit, and very clean. The front desk clerk was very friendly too. Elevators didn't take a long time either. The rooms were very clean too and didn't have those typical musty smell (or some places use Fabreeze or Lysol).

The refrigerator was cool and not like the ones I use elsewhere. It's actually a refrigerator/freezer. If you turn the inside knob all the way to the right, it changes it to freezer mode (I found out the hard way).

They had a basket of fresh fruit in the room, as well as room slippers; I thought the carpet was clean and didn't need it but it was a nice touch. The soap and shampoo in the bathroom were not those cheapo ones too; they give you the massaging bar soap.

Everything is within walking distance of the hotel; you can literally walk across the street to a nice Sushi spot (they have oyster special happy hour) and a great shopping and eating area too. I'll be back next year.

Attended a professional event in the ballroom. This was the second time I have attended this annual event. The food and service were consistently excellent. Facilities were clean and well maintained.

Rooms are nice and love the location. There are tons of Asian eateries within walking distance. Breakfast buffet also serves Asian inspired food like chicken dumplings, kimchi, etc.

Nice hotel but lots of snags in rooms. We had two rooms for 8 days- heating didn't work in one ( fixed following day) and faulty fan in bathroom in other room. The fan constantly dripped water on toilet for four days despite several attempts by staff to fix it. Fan was loose and dangled dangerously from ceiling.
We were offered 2 days worth of breakfast as compensation, but it's not what you expect from a relatively new hotel.

Great service from the time I checked. They upgraded me to a King size suite. Excellent staff, rooms are well kept. Had free coupons for morning breakfast (as a Hilton Gold member) and wonderful staff in the dining room. Will be staying here again.

The hotel itself was very nice. I enjoyed their complementary perks and the service was good. The hotel restaurant was over-priced and while there are many restaurants nearby, almost all of them serve Asian food. This might be great for some guests, but I would have preferred a bigger variety of choices. I appreciated the self parking option for only $5 per night. I wouldn't stay again, but that's just based on the location and not the quality or service of the hotel.

Nice and clean, tidy hotel of SGV. We stayed for out wedding night ( that took place elsewhere). We came back to use their bar for after hour. We wished it would have stayed opened longer, otherwise I would give it a full 5 star.

Staff are wonderful and very pleasant. Atmosphere is relaxing. I would recommend anybody to stay at this hotel. In the center of a asian district there is lots of choices for asian food. The room was wonderful and clean.

Waitress did not speak English, which is fine but she was so upset that I'm Asian and cannot speak Chinese. She was very quick to get frustrated with me when I simply asked for a box for my food to go. I'm Vietnamese. Fluent in both my native language and English. I was officially offended.

Came for a banquet celebrating Chinese new year and Vietnamese community association. The event was mainly staffed by the association. The staff only served food (not sure if the food itself was catered or prepared by the staff). None the less, the food served was lukewarm. The food itselflf was bland, but as I previously stated, it may have been catered. Anyways, during the banquet getting staffs attention was difficult. They acknowledge us when we waved, but simply walked away and didn't come to the table at all. Do not recommend attending banquet dinners at this location if possible.

Everything at the Hilton looks professional and luxurious! If I were a tourist I would definitely stay at the Hilton! Although I only went for a social event, I can say that the Hilton is a really great hotel!

I was meeting a friend whom stayed at the hotel, so I don't know how is the room and the service. However, we spent some time at the lobby and it was nice. The lobby was clean and the decor was comfortable. The lobby bathroom was clean.

This Hilton specializes in accommodations for chinese guests. It's built with a small mall attached next door, with underground parking. There are weddings at this location fairly regularly. Book in advance.

Nice location. Lots of organizations hold meetings here. Decent place to sit around and avoid the heat. Buffet is a bit overpriced and just so-so. Lots of good asian eats around. Easy Pokestops nearby if you play Pokemon!

Very friendly staff. Awesome breakfast. Clean comfortable room. I hate the duvet that most hotels have gone too. You get too hot under it and too cold when you kick it off. This hotel had, in the closet, a good old fashioned regular blanket so I threw off the duvet and slept comfortably with myblanket!

This was one of the best hotels I've ever been to. The beds are so clean and are so comfortable ! they make me want to sleep there for the whole day. The customer service is really good, hotel managers offer us free water bottles and towels with a smile on them. A really good modern designed hotel suitable for everyone. There is also a huge shopping mall where me and my family go to which is really close to here. I want to visit this place again and i recommend this hotel as a 5 star.

Beautiful establishment! Clean and roomy. Staff are not clingy. Plethora of boutiques right outside the hotel including drinks, dessert, and shopping. Located on a dense area on Valley Blvd. Night life is good.

Beautiful lobby. Modern tech includes key tap required to operate elevator and digital key on your phone app. Free bottled water at check-in at the registration desk and in-room is a nice amenity. Free fruit plate in the room is another plus. Soft music playing on the clock radio when you first walk into your room is an unexpected but pleasant surprise, except the clock radio has many small buttons and can be difficult to turn off music if the guest does not read English. And this hotel attracts many non-English speaking visitors.

Great neighborhood if you like Chinese food.
