Our stay was great. Without any doubt hotel has very good location and you can easily reach best places in the city. There are several metro lines close to the hotel. Room we got was big enough, clean and we were sleeping very good (comfortable bed, pillows, not loud). Staff was friendly. On our departure day we did last shopping and started to repack everything in the lobby. Nobody told us anything and they even gave us scissors and showed their understanding. Can only recommend this hotel.

What a lovely relaxing break. All of the staff members are exceptional. I would highly recommend that everyone should have a stay here. The spa is so relaxing and there are plenty of areas one can get away and read without any interruption. They have a great area to unwind. Ideal hotel! Just visit the place with your loved ones.

Always a pleasure staying at this property. Great location - right around the corner from the NASDAQ. If you’re after something more touristy - theatre district and Times Square are on the door step.
Great restaurant on site and large rooms especially by NYC standards.

A standard Hilton in one of the most touristy locations in America. If you are staying here, then you probably do not care about price, but be warned that the rates are exorbitant ($600+ for a basic room). I would not recommend the Hilton in Times Square as the rooms are fairly average (comparable to a Holiday Inn or Sleep Inn) and the area around the hotel is always overcrowded. Instead, I'd recommend using a site like HotelTonight to find a better deal in a less crowded part of Manhattan (or checkout Brooklyn, it's pretty cool). All in all, the Hilton is not a bad place to stay as the staff are courteous and the rooms decent, but, considering the price, travelers would do well to look at other options in less crowded parts of New York City.

I had a really great stay at the Hilton Times Square. We had a large room, high floor and very clean. The breakfast is hot and the service was great. The only bad thing is the parking is high and no in/out service but it’s Times Square, so I guess it’s to be expected! Plus the location is perfect and you can walk to anywhere. I also had a nice fruit plate waiting for me since I had stayed there previously. I also like that you have to take an elevator up to the lobby so there is extra security and in the evening you have to show your hotel key to access the elevators.

Very clean, great views, high end hotel in the middle of it all. Stayed here multiple times for business (always secured a high floor, corner room with killer views) and a few times playing tourist. If you want to stay in the middle of it all but then wind down in a full service and quiet hotel room, this is your place. I'm a platinum honors member so there's some nice perks but even without the membership, this hotel has a lot to offer. When arriving by taxi, enter off 43rd street for a less stressful arrival.

The rooms are nicely spacious. The bathroom was surprisingly roomy for a hotel bathroom but the lack of a fan made it pretty steamy for post shower getting ready. The proximity to everything in the time square is an enormous convenience I would have hoped that at the prices being charged there would be included breakfast, or at least in room coffee.
Which is a big negative for business travelers

The view from the room was amazing! Room was big (especially for NYC) and clean. Very centrally located in Times Square which is both great and - to me - a downside. There are always a lot of people around and in front of the building. Breakfast buffet was good, but nothing exceptional for almost $30 per person.

Great location steps to everything in Times Square, Broadway area. $125 a night King bed city view. Room had a bit of a musty smell, my wife sprayed perfume before we left one morning & it helped a lot. Good fridge no microwave though.

We stayed at the Hilton Times Square for 2 nights in July. It was my mom, sister and nieces first time in NYC so it was a perfect location for us. Yes it’s busy but it’s Times Square. Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly staff and also given two corner rooms with great views of the city. When we arrived in our room they had a special treat for my mom (we were celebrating her birthday.) the rooms are well appointed and our beds were very comfortable. Having a mini fridge during this ultra hot summer was a life saver. The staff are all professional and friendly and we always felt safe and welcome. As Hilton Honors members we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.

This hotel has the best sized rooms in NYC for the price, hands down. Nice, clean, accommodating. However, the lobby is on the smaller side, but it is NYC! It was a wonderful stay and would recommend. Will definitely be on the top of my list whenever I stay in nyc.

The hotel front desk is located at 2nd floor. The staffs are very friendly and efficient. Check-in process was very smooth. There is lounge/restaurant right in the lobby. At the far end, there is business center for printing your boarding pass or using the computer (fee required).

The Room: Consider spacious compared to other hotels I have stayed in New York. Room is very clean & modern. Lots of outlet for charging the electronics. There is coffee machine in the room too.

The Location: YES, LOCATED RIGHT IN TIME SQUARE!! Walking distance to all the stores. Can hang out in Time Square as late as we want!!!

Very nice hotel with some amazing views but i had a problem with check in where they charged my card 4 times the amount of the incidental fee. I didn't find out until my bank had notified me. They did return the charge and it did take a few days, but it did make my trip more stressful having to deal with that. Also, the breakfast wasn't super impressive for the $30 they charged. I did enjoy the fitness room, however.

Yes there are plenty of hotels to pick from in New York. I have stayed in good and not so good hotels. This one definitely ranks as good if you want to be close to Times Square. Rooms are a decent size and services is as good as you can expect for a hotel in this category. There double elevator to get to your room is probably the only negative thing about the place, but not uncommon for NYC.

Very nice hotel. I stayed a few nights and walked around NYC to sightsee. It was conveniently right in the middle of everything and I had an amazing view of the Empire State Building from my bed. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating and held my bags while I walked the city when I arrived way earlier than check in time. Highly recommend

My Wife and I stayed at the Hilton Times Square May 18-21 and we couldn't have been more pleased! The room was clean and spacious with view of Times Square if you looked straight down from the 33 floor window which were as sound proof as could be expected and kept most of the noise from the street below out. With quick elevators and a decent enough gym I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants stay in the heart of Time Square!

Very beautiful place to visit. In summers you can see the actual beauty of this place. So many tourists come there from different parts of the world. You can interact with them and can get to know about their culture and food choices. You can share your experiences too.

Superb hotel for casual travelers. Centrally located in Times Square; walking distance to subway / bus station, Hell's Kitchen, Bryant Park, Korea Town / Herald Square. Most rooms have great view of the NYC skyline so don't forget to take it in. You may just see a different side of NYC.

Courteous service clean accommodations and some of the finest guests situated in the heart of times square district just about one block from the iconic square itself. I could see the time's square ball from the spectacular view out of my room! This was my first trip to the big Apple and this hotel was perfectly placed for everywhere I needed to be. The concierge was extremely helpful for Any& all of my inquiries from transportation to dining and entertainment, he really helped the Hilton earn all 5 stars

This Hilton is very cental and we could walk or take the subway anywhere we needed to. The room was nice and clean and we had an amazing view of the Empire State Building. We were there to see Broadway shows and we had access to everything that we needed and great restaurants. Would definitely recommend. The elevator situation was a little out of the ordinary (you take an elevator up to the lobby, then up to your room) but it didn't bother us and the hotel felt very safe.

The staff was very accommodating. Our room was clean and just as expected. There was an air purifier which made our time in the room feel especially fresh. 😀 Location was great, conveniently near the subway, restaurants and entertainment! We stayed one night with our two young kids. We'll definitely do it again!

Having stayed only overnight, I'm not the most equipped to write a thorough review, but I'll do my best. The interior of the building was beautiful, and the lobby was comfortable with a bar and (I think) eating area. It really was right on times square, so if you're there as a tourist this location would be great. The room was as nice as any other Hilton hotel I've visited, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I have only two gripes. 1) They offered parking (valet only), but it was unclear where to bring the car to get it parked. 2) though I doubt it could have been helped, the lobby was on the 20th floor, without access to the floors below it, and there were only two elevators to reach it. This often generated a fair bit of elevator traffic to get back to my room.

If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around...

Location can't be beat. It is right in the middle of all things New York and just a short walk to some of the best tourist destinations, food and any kind of affordable public transportation.

Room was super nice and clean. Our housekeeper throughout our stay, Elsa, was wonderful! We ordered room service breakfast and the food was fresh, delicious and promptly delivered by Victor, who was friendly, thoughtful and professional. The concierge and front desk staff were super helpful and hospitable. It did seem as though there were some service inconsistencies in the mornings in the lobby bar but that may have had something to do with our stay being during the Christmas holidays. However, I would definitely recommend this hotel for a stay of any kind (family, tourist, romantic getaway, etc...)!

Hilton Time Square was everything we could ask for. We took our family to New York for a week in May. It is so conveniently located that you we could walk to most everything. The doormen were amazing getting taxis when needed and they were fun besides. One of our best family afternoons was in the bar area, great drinks and snacks. HILTON TIME SQUARE will be the only place we will stay on our next trip. P.s. Rooms were great!

Not meeting my expectations. Location is superb if you're into busy area like Times Square. Between train stations so very convenient to travel around the city and stop right at the center of city attractions. This also means easy to get food and drinks. But to Hilton standard as member of Hilton Honors, this hotel doesn't provide good service as the other Hilton. Hotel is old. One of elevators was not really working well but seems the staff there not really care. Front office staffs are far from good customer service. Concierge was good though. I don't have issue with hotel space considering we're in NYC.

A really great hotel. Maybe rooms are not perfectly new, but really good quality for price range and location. I have chosen the hotel because it is one of the rare hotels that are really close to Times Square. The location is impressive. You have underground some meters away, and you're 50m away from Times Square. Staff is friendly. If you take breakfast this is not perfect but bigger than lots of typical continental.

Nice room and a good lobby bar. Bar and restaurant staff was great. Front desk staff were attentive and polite but failed to deliver on two separate requests. I asked for a complimentary water since I am Hhonors guest and they related that they would send to the room. The water was never delivered. The next evening I asked for additional coffee packs and the front desk again stated it would be delivered to the room but Service was a no-show again. Attention Front Desk! It's better to state to the customer that you can't provide the service vs. promising something and not carrying through. Otherwise, good hotel.

The location of this place is absolutely fantastic - right at the heart of Times Square and with awedome connectivity to the whole city. The service is efficient and decent given it's a large hotel.

I'm going with one star less than 5 because my room wasn't ready till 3 pm and I had to wait in the reception area. They did of course look after bags etc while I went out for lunch.

So far, the best hotel I've stayed at in New York. Right next to the 42 street subway station, great rooms, comfortable beds, friendly staff. Prices at the hotel bar are a bit steep though, I'd find another place to grab a drink. Other than that, I'd recommend this hotel to anyone.

Very large and comfortable room with a refrigerator which is a nice bonus. The room was very clean and had everything you could need - nice shampoo, soap, mouthwash etc. The bed was comfortable. I do wish there was a mini bar, but that's not a big deal. I was on the 40th floor which has a great view. No noise from the street or from the hallway. The lobby was nice and I like that there is an entrance to the hotel on both 41st and 42nd Street. I would definitely recommend and will stay at again.

Went to the view had an excellent time. The staff was super nice. I think I've met the best server I've ever met in my life here. His name was Thomas. I was very happy with this hotel. The rooms were clean and there were no issues that I can discuss negatively. Food recommendations were amazing and I would stay here again. Location, location, location....great deal if you want to be near Times Square. Had a great stay here for a couple nights during an anniversary week away, and everything was fantastic. Not every room will have a great view, but we were happy being near the top and facing north. Great skyline to wake up to in the AM. Staff was great, check-in/out was easy, and lots of employees around to give you "street" advice (if you are new to NYC).

Incredible hotel with the staff to match. We had the corner of the 42nd floor and the view was incredible. There is not an executive lounge. The bar is located in the main lobby next to the restaurant. Breakfast is served as a buffet but if that doesn't suit you they did take orders as well. The facility was clean and in great shape. You have street access to both the North and South and access the lobby from an elevator. The lobby elevator is under constant watch from security.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around...

We had a great time our room 3907, which was an upgrade by the excellent front desk agent, our room had excellent views of the NYE ball. The room was clean has a refrigerator and coffee maker, you can request a microwave. You must see Ivan the concierge!!! He helped us with tickets to the Yankee game and we had an incredible experience. Our stay came with breakfast, which was great for grabbing a bite before seeing the city. The only complaint is the elevator had issues. A couple of times the elevator was out and we had to use the service elevator. Otherwise, we had a fabulous stay and I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else for the cost and convenience in the heart of Times Square.

We were overnight guests on a Friday night at Hilton Times Square. We got in late Friday night, and we were the only people in line at the check in counter. Nonetheless, after giving our names, we waited about twenty minutes just to make sure our room was ready for us. I'm not sure what the delay was in getting a room at such a late time. After finally getting our room and cleaning up a little, we went back downstairs. Our car was still sitting outside where we parked it for the valet. For a pricey service, I'd prefer if my car wasn't sitting out for so long. That said, it was overall a nice hotel. The rooms were good and the TVs have Chromecasts. There are plenty of elevators in the lobby, which is important when there are so many guests in this busy hotel.

The rooms were clean and ready earlier than normal check-in time. It was average. No one offered exceptional service. The views were nice. No bill was placed under the door like usual I had to ask for that and the email has still not been sent hours after we checked out. I would stay again... But I hope for a little more "Hilton Honor" like I normally receive.

The location of the hotel is pretty convenient if you are looking for an area that is easily accessible to a lot of tourism. The workers there are very interested in your satisfaction and I feel as though they do a good job at it. Clean and good sized room for NYC, biggest let down was the service received at the front desk, rude and lacked any manners, I wouldn't expect that from a 3 star hotel, let alone it being a Hilton branded one. Don't expect good views as well, you'll either see high rise flats on one side, or high rise flats on the opposite side. Location however was very good and literally a 5 minute walk to Times Square and the theaters in Broadway.

Nice hotel. My room was what I expected. Took off a star for the breakfast set up. There was nothing buffet about it. It was restaurant style. The price was 30 and it didn't seem like it was buffet style. There was no line or people getting up getting there own food. Didn't eat there. People were all in work clothes. If you're on vacation you aren't dressing up to go down to a restaurant at 7am. You can just go out and go to a 5 star restaurant down the street for that. Room service , the last sentence applies again.

I have mixed feelings about this hotel. Front desk - the level of customer service is mixed dependent upon who is on at the time. I rang down to ask how much a international call would cost per minute and no one ever got back to me. I asked again at the front desk and was advised that I would only find out 'after' I had made the call, when they are able to see how long I had been on the phone! Pick a price out of thin air why don't you?
However, when having to call the bank back home to report bank cards lost they were marvellous and permitted us to call at no cost.
The Room - Back facing, over-looking the rooftops of other buildings - not nice really as this was our first time long haul - in New York but I understand the hotel was full the week we stayed.
Location - Perfect - Central to everything and we felt safe
Concierge - What a splendid chap - extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. Always a smile for everyone. A great asset for the hotel.
Restaurant - Only available for breakfast which was included in our price. If travelling alone this is very difficult to manage. You get coffee and place on the table to reserve your place, then return for food selection only to return and find the staff have cleared the table!
Staff - mostly friendly but not attentive enough for the level of customer service I expect in a Hilton Hotel.
Room Service - The first night we had received a brand new dollar bill so we were keeping it for a memory of our vacation, leaving under a book on the bedside table. However, on our return the next day we found our room had been freshened up but the dollar bill gone! Presume they thought it was a tip? It wasn't, so we didn't leave valuables around in the room again after that........
Summary - Would I stay here again? Maybe, but wouldn't include breakfast and would specify room type required. As a Hilton Honours guest I would expect improved considerations when making reservations in this chain. Our stay was mid Nov 2016

A good central location with many shops, attractions, transport options and restaurants. Rooms are clean, modern and open. The foyer does get crowded at times so a quiet meal in the hotel restaurant might not be an option. Would recommend to any traveler looking for a good hotel.

Convenient location. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Offers good views of the city. Breakfast is available but not included in room price. Expect to pay a location/convenience premimum on everything. Bag/luggage storage is available for check-in/check-out days when you want to explore the city and not carry your belongings with you.

I'm a frequent guest. Its right in the middle of the things and convenient for my work travel. Staff is always friendly and accommodating. I always request a room that is on a jigher floor and away from the elevator shaft. Its the best combination for a quiet stay.

This location is right in the heart of Times Square. I am an HHonors member and recommend unlocking the benefits of being IN. I stayed here when I had show tickets with my bestie. It was Absolutely Fabulous. We had a corner suite with some amazing views. Valet parking is a little pricey but well worth it in NYC.

I love staying at the Hilton Times Square. The location is perfect for me. The rooms are perfect for me. The bed is very comfortable. The breakfast buffet is good. The only reason I took off one star is that "George" is no longer there at the front desk. I miss him. He always welcomed me and had a smile from the time I checked in to check out. As I would come and go he made me feel like a very welcome desk and really, like family. If I needed anything at all, George would take care of it. Hilton Times Square Management, I don't know the reason George is not there any more, but you need to do all you can to get George back!

First impressions front the concierge were awesome. He was very friendly and personable. The room was very clean. Bed was comfortable and the pillows were great! Only downside was the water pipes in the bathroom sometimes made noise when other people in other rooms showered. The TV didn't work correctly, but we didn't need to use it much anyway.

Front desk staff was great. Extremely nice and very down to earth. The room was beautiful and the views were equally if not even more beautiful. Very happy with my stay. Definitely recommend if you need to stay the night in the City.

We're staying here right now. We always stay at the Hilton Times Square when we're in NYC, which is one to two times a year. It's in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Times Square, yet when you check in on the 21st floor you enter a beautiful, quiet boutique hotel above the busy street. The staff is helpful and courteous and the rooms are clean, modern and a nice size. Great place to stay!

The room was very nice and newly remodeled. Everything about the stay was great, but for some reason our room wasn't attended to the day before our second of two nights (garbage not emptied, beds not made, etc.) Perhaps this is normal for only a two night stay. Regardless, if I'd stay there again! Times Square is only a couple minute walk from the hotel!

The hotel is ideally located in the Times Sq area, a few mins walk from all the Broadway theatres.
The hotel itself is above other shops/restaurants, with a small ground floor entrance (manned by porters) and a couple ash elevators to the main lobby.

The rooms & hotel is quite basic (comparing to other Hilton's I've stayed at) and I expected a lot more for the rate.
I stayed in a king size room. The decor felt a little dated otherwise comfortable. There was nothing to make the room feel luxurious - in other Hilton's there's normally a personal welcome letter, complementary water, sometimes even fruit. I've even had a bottle of wine and a cheese board.
Anyway, in the room has basic standard amenities: TV, phone, iron/board, safe large enough for a 17" laptop), fridge (no mini-bar), bath robe.
The bathroom was also basic & dated. Available was hand soap, mouth wash, shampoo, conditioner and bath soap (oddly, no shower gel). Mirrors get steamy after a shower and there's no extractor fan.
My room faced south, but the view wasn't particularly special. You could could see the top of the empire state building. Maybe the view world be better from a higher floor.
The room felt too warm most nights to sleep comfortably. The air-conditioning went down to 16C/60F, but it felt warmer than that. The room was also a little noisy, you could still hear some of the street noise and traffic. My room was next to the elevators, so you could hear them going up/down all night.

In the fitness centre, there is a good range of new equipment - running machines, step machines, chucked and assisted/free weights. Disappointingly, I had expected at least a basic spa (pool/sauna/steam) but there's nothing - admittedly I should have checked that, but it's been a standard feature of all the other Hilton's I've stayed at for half the price.

Breakfast - a relativity small choice. For hot food: scrambled eggs, pastor wedges, bacon, pancakes and eggs to order. There's also various bagels, pastries, fruit, cereals and yogurt. If you don't have it included in your rate, I'd recommend going out to a deli or at the weekend, for brunch, at one of the many bars. I had free breakfast vouchers which I used a couple of times just to get coffee and got my breakfast outside.

The main lobby, bar and breakfast/restaurant area is well kept and we'll decorated.

Staff were always very polite and friendly.

All in all, I don't think the hotel was value for money. If I wasn't here on business I would have moved to another hotel.

We come to the city for a weekend 2 times every year and always stay at this Hilton.
Great location, great food, rooms are big and comfortable. Worth every penny. I'll be back right after Thanksgiving.

We had a great experience here. The staff could not have been nicer. We had a couple of special requests and they were all met with professionalism and enthusiasm. The room was great. we had a terrific view of the Empire State Building. it is stunning lit up at night. The elevator situation is odd, but once you get over that all is good. I will take a funky elevator set and an accommodating staff anytime over poor service..

Comfortable, everything works as advertised. Great location. Be prepared for traffic jams as you are in Times Square.
