The room was clean and in near order. The included breakfast was clean and tasty. The people in the room next to ours decided it was party night with drinking screaming, loud conversations. The front clerk received multiple complaints and the party continued until we asked the front desk to move their party to the lobby. They hotel again asked the party to quiet down which they did after another hour of partying.

Rooms where clean and nice. Service was great. The location was easy to get to and tucked away from everyone else.

The building itself wasn't maintained, dirty and runned down. The men's room on the main floor, right around the corner from the main desk is so bad it needs to be closed untill repaired. The wallpaper has 50+ tacks securing it to the wall, a 2×4 holding up the sink, water damage all over to include the the light switch and electric outlet. A real safety hazard. I mentioned it to the front desk and they said they where aware of the problem.

Hotel was nice, clean. Very convenient to see all family in the area, between Hazleton and White Haven. Only had a little problem with check in. Attendant at front desk could not locate paperwork right off, then I had asked if it wasn't a problem to change to a king room verses a 2 beds, it wasn't as they were not busy, but it took like 20 minutes to check in. First room he assigned us was not ready, finding out only after walking to the room. It appeared clean in the system and it was after 3. No other problems, breakfast was good. Have stayed here several times now.

A PERFECT HOTEL STAY The guy at the counter the night I arrived was awesome! There were fresh baked cookies in the lobby (soft and chewy chocolate chip). A double-sided hearth with a real fire which was approachable from both the lobby and the dining/entertainment area. Breakfast was great, great location near the highway for Jack Frost/Big Boulder skiing. Price was right, room (King suite) was big and super clean. Sheets were soft.

I did not stay in a room here but the staff has helped my family and I through our car breaking down they allowed us to stay warm while we waited for the stores to open they even offered us breakfast so we didn't have to go hungry thank you to the staff and especially the young man at the front desk raven karn sorry if I mispellet that I would recommend this hotel just for the staff alone

This definitely doesn't hold up to the Holiday Inn name that I have experienced. Very outdated furniture that you couldn't pay me to sit on. Room feels dirty even though it really is clean. Internet was absolutely worthless, not even just streaming, but my emails took way too long to load and the hotel appeared to be mostly empty. Service was great and very helpful, but didn't feel like it was worth the price.

Very nice place. 😀 Staff was very polite and gave a discount. I wish there was a pool and a mini fridge. You can order Italian or Chinese and they will deliver to this hotel. Nice Keurig coffee maker and black tea. Free apples and chocolate chip cookies 🍎🍪 They have a small fitness center.

I enjoy the Holiday Inn Express chain. This one didn't meet the usual standards. It wasn't dirty, but I wouldn't call it clean. The staff was very friendly, and the breakfast was good. I will stay at Holiday Inn Expresses again I'm just not sure if it will be this one.

It was nice stayed with my family and they were very accommodating. Whatever the guy at the front desk didn't know he went to find out.

The location is secluded so there is little traffic noise. The rooms were pretty standard - beds, TV, bathroom (actually had wonderful water pressure). Service wasn't too bad, it was just oddly busy. Overall, not my first choice but I would stay there again if needed.

Location is conviently located off the highway, rooms are clean and spacious, service prompy and friendly.

Came in around 3am and was desperate for a bed. The man at the front desk was very pleasant and accommodating. Everything was very clean. It was very quiet. I would absolutely stay there again!

I have stayed at this hotel many times while visiting clients in the area. The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. The only complaint this time was a lack of soap and shampoo in the room, and the cold water in the sink was not working. But this is not usually the case.

This place was okay. The internet is so bloody slow you can't load a web page. If you have kids who have never seen a pay phone, this place has 2. I'm sure this place will get a proper update when the IHG construction crew makes its rounds. Cheers

The facility itself was great, no complaints. Quick check in, room was clean, etc....my only real complaint was breakfast- we checked in quite late the night before (just after 3am), guy at the desk was friendly and told us bfast was served 'til 1030am - we come down at 945am and the woman attendant was already starting to put stuff away. She SEES us pick up plates and start poking around the bfast items and continues putting stuff away and throwing stuff out....seriously? Not only were we 45min ahead of when they told us bfast ended, but she sees we are there to grab something to eat and instead of stopping for 5min and letting us grab something, she continues to pack up the food stations in front of our face....i was none too pleased to say the least

Super convenient location. Friendly staff. Rooms are clean and comfortable, but the halls and grounds could use a bit of tidying up. Nothing major, and I would absolutely stay here again.

Sorry there's no pool or hot tub here, how ever the front desk staff, maids and morning breakfast staff make up for that.. every one is helpful,polite,and friendly..very clean place to stay

It is a good value. The rooms were neat and clean. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Every night there are fresh baked cookies for a snack, and a decent breakfast selection in the morning.

Wanted a room for the night (Sunday) so we pulled into HIE - Drums. It was quiet and the cost was good. The desk attendant (I believe her name is Nicole) was extraordinarily helpful and cheerful. The room was clean, as was the overall facility. Based on what I saw for the one night, I would certainly recommend it or visit again. The Pancakes til Midnight were good. The overall breakfast was pretty pedestrian, but not too bad. The food selection was ordinary, and if I stayed for more than one night, I may look elsewhere to find a really excellent breakfast, because it is the most important meal of the day :)

Nobody gets five stars...nobody's perfect. But HIE - Drums is a fine hotel.

Clean & comfortable! I would stay again & recommend to others. Only 15min away from most paint-balling & whitewater rafting activities. For a fulfilling homemade breakfast, amish style, try Mary's Family Restaurant across the street 540 N Hunter Hwy. Beware, delicious gigantic portions! :)

My family and I stayed at this hotel last night and it was a great stay. The staff was welcoming and friendly. They had an awesome breakfast in the morning, eggs, ham, sausage, bacon, tea, coffee, juices, hot cereal, cold cereal, muffins, buiscits, and not just doughnuts and coffee. They were very accomodating and the rooms were very clean. The Italian woman who works the morning and gets the breakfast ready was so nice and very friendly.

My family and I just want to say Thanks a million for making us feel welcome and comfortable. We had been driving a long time and were very tired and your staff just made us feel so much better.

We had first gone to another hotel in the area, but the staff on duty had been very rude to my family and I, so we decided that we would find some where else to stay the night. I am so glad that we found your establishment nearby. We enjoyed our stay. We will return again because we do make that trip quite frequently and like to take a rest, so you have a customer for life!
