It's newly renovated and looks very nice. The service is very good and everyone is very friendly. The breakfast is also good for a free breakfast. Biscuits and gravy is always good. The elevator was having second issues and the door lock didn't line up right on my door, but everything else was great.

Has to be one of the finest places we've ever stayed in. Beautifully remodeled. Friendly workers all around. Good bfk too. Nice and clean.

Stayed here overnight to visit family nearby. The hotel is clean and the staff was hard at work. The guest agent Tania was really friendly, as well as accommodating. I slept well in the room but wished the AC was a little quieter. All said I would stay here again.

From the moment I walked in, Tonia at the front desk was the most happy and helpful person I have ever encountered at a hotel. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable. The pool was fun for the kids and the spa was relaxing. Overall super great experience..

The hotel is very close to I80 and nearby fast food joints, gas stations, and even a Walmart access the interstate. They have recently remodelled the entire place, and it really is a big difference. I stayed here about 18 months ago and it was nice enough for the price. However, the remodel which includes new beds, new 55" HD TVs, remodelled bathrooms, much better curtains, and a better internet experience, all at the same price? I won't stay anywhere else in Morris now. There is a pool and workout facility, but I did not use these amenities. The front desk worker we had was extremely helpful in getting us a crib for my daughter along with extra sheets and blankets. She also told us which channels were Disney Jr, which was nice to not have to look at the guide for her. The lighting in the rooms is also very nice with a decent touch desk lamp and three outlets at each bedside table. I would highly recommend staying at this Holiday Inn Express!

Very clean, quiet and comfortable. They were doing some construction/remodeling while we were there but it wasn't noisy or a problem. Easy to get to right off of I-80.

Best Hotel here yes a tad pricy but you pay for what you get. Nice big clean rooms nice breakfast very friendly staff. ImIa hotel snob I prefer to pay a little more for a better night stay.

When we were there there was some remodeling going on but it being a weekend that we stayed there was no actual construction going on. Even though there was construction on the first floor, that did not take away from what the hotel had to offer. The pool and hot tub were great. There was still a breakfast area and the hotel was quiet.
We stayed on Father's Day weekend and it was one of the hottest weekends. The A/C in the room/hotel worked great.
The front desk staff was great. They greeted us upon arrival and gave me a choice of rooms. I really would have preferred a room on 1st floor but it was explained that they were remodeling so they asked me if 2nd would be alright. They also informed me that I could get some extra points by declining housekeeping for one of my 2 night stay.
Overall, the experience was great and if I am ever in the area again, I would definitely stay at this hotel and I would gladly recommend this hotel to anyone comming to the area.

Love the renovations! Bed was super comfortable. Room was immaculate and created a tranquil environment. Hotel staff was the best. A huge shout out to Tonia, she was an amazing help.

Currently under construction. It didn't effect my stay, my room and the hotel amenities we're great. But they own the construction in a fun way (example: giving out chocolate candies in the shape of a hammer)

The rooms were a little dated but it was clean. Free cookies were great

Very nice hotel. Love the forever hot showers. Lovely staff and lobby. Only wish the tv was a tad bigger, but oh well. The room was very comfy and the little kitchenette was nice to have for bottles for our little kiddo. I adore that the room smelled nice but not fragrant- I personally think there are few worse hotel sins than one that smells like mildew or like it hasnt been aired out. So i feel its of note that our room and the rest of the hotel we encountered, smelled great. :) They were even lending snow shovels out to unbury the cars when we arrived, so i think their overall hospitality, cleanliness, and service is top notch. :) would reccommend definately!

Nice king bedroom with jacuzzi tub and feel warm welcome at front desk and treat snacks and drink for free at night time.

Location convenient to highway, hotel was clean, staff was friendly and helpful even when working on thabksgiving, breakfast was mediocre but to be expected.

The rooms are quiet and clean. The beds arnt very comfortable though, everyone in our room complained about them. They provide a great breakfast and dinner at no additional cost which is pretty good. The pool was a hit with the family too.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Hotel is a fairly run of the mill Holiday Inn Express, you know what to expect before you get there.

This hotel is one on the best hotels I have ever stayed in. My son got married in Morris and many of the guests stayed here. They were super nice, extremely accommadatable and so very patient with all of us. I would rate this hotel a 5 plus!!!

Our experience was delightful! In fact our room was upgraded for free to a premium king bedroom suite with a gigantic hot tub! I would definitely go back! Our room was clean and the hospitality was fantastic! Everything from check-in to check-out was exceptional including our hot breakfast the next morning!

The rooms are nice and the whole hotel smells good. The pool and hot tub is OK. They have cookies by the front desk! The price is higher than the other hotels in the area but it is definitely a nicer place to stay.

This hotel is the "Hilton" of Morris and the beacon of hope that all hotels in the area aspire to be. That said, I always travel with my own 5-cup coffee maker & coffee because most motels in-room coffee makers are crusty, dirty and their terribly weak amounts of caffeine make mornings worse. Not at this Holiday Inn; I was surprised with an in-room Kuerig with a few nicely curated k-cups. In addition to the plush beds, dozen of fluffy pillows; I nearly fell asleep in the "lazy-boy" chair. While all this for $110 might seem typical to some; their full spread breakfast will rival the most expensive breakfast chain restaurants while amazing the most critical traveler.

Very stereotypical Holiday Inn Express; you will not be shocked one way or another. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Ethernet internet with up to 2 megabyte/second speed on Steam was a major plus.

One of the best hotels we've stayed at, honestly. We're here for an extended stay, and since the beginning I've been impressed- rooms are spacious, free dinner on Tue and Wed, breakfast is plentiful, there's always tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and homemade treats out, we had a welcome goodie bag waiting for us upon check in, the staff has been wonderful to us and our kids... Overall, an exceptional time. Highly recommend!

The room was fair to middling. The location was just what I needed. Two criticisms, though.
-The breakfast was not that great! It's free, and worth every penny, as the saying goes. They have one of those pancake machines that make noises like a fax machine, but it was broken and instead of replacing it with something functional like a waffle maker, they fiddled with the pancake fax in the hope that it would snap out of its funk. It didn't. They occasionally ran out of other things, like yogurt. The scrambled eggs were pretty unappetising. Blah blah blah, picky picky, everyone's a critic, right? But the breakfast could use improvement.
-The hot tub wasn't actually hot until they fixed that too.
Bottom line, this place is getting on in years. It's all right, but... you know.

The room and service was great. Comfortable beds. Had some trouble with accessing the internet though. Breakfast was great! Lots of fresh items. We enjoyed our stay, and it was an easy off/on from the highway.

Clean, comfortable, and quiet. Easy to access off the exit and get right back on i80. Attentive staff that greeted you when passing. Breakfast was lacking in quality. Rooms were nice maybe a little outdated but overall a good stay.

My partner and I stayed here on our road trip from Philly to Portland, OR. It's probably the nicest hotel in the immediate area, though we didn't really bother checking out any of the other nearby places. The staff was very friendly, especially at check in and at breakfast (which was complimentary and actually had several vegan options, which I appreciated). The room was clean and the bed was comfy, though there was a gentle running-water sound coming from the bathroom (there wasn't a leak or a faucet on, idk where it was coming from) and the light in the hallway made a buzzing noise. The noise wasn't enough to keep me awake and otherwise the hotel seemed well kept. The hotel staff also loaned me a corkscrew which I thought was especially nice of them. Overall, good experience.

What a nice man! Even though he was obviously busy, (he had a missing remote to find for a room and another couple behind us checking in) he still found the time to meet us at the elevator and hand us a bottle of ice cold water before we called it a night. Thanks!

To the person who wrote "Stay away from Morris Holiday Inn" this is about the quality of the rooms, service, etc not about wedding parties roaming the hallways. I don't care what hotel, motel you stay at there will be wedding parties and annoyances to deal with.
