I have stayed at this HIE numerous times. It is clean, comfortable and in a great location for us. Before I checked in I asked if the hot tub and pool were working, the desk clerk assured me they were. When we got to the pool area, the hot tub was cold. The same desk clerk that told me it was working fine said they had been having trouble with it and were trying to fix it. Then tell me that when I ask about it before checking in. Our second issue was our air conditioner. It didn’t work -at all. The fan was roaring and putting out no air. All night long. In the morning we did report it and they said they would get maintenance right on it. When we got back that night it hadn’t been fixed. The desk clerk moved us to a new room with no problem.
I wouldn’t say this was a great experience but we will stay here again if we’re in the area.

The hotel is located in a newly built part of town near many stores and restaurants. The rooms are very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food choices are a little better than the average hotel breakfast.

Stayed here for one night. Great beds, comfy, quiet rooms. Everything was pretty clean. Best hotel I've stayed at in a while. Breakfast next morning was good, loved the biscuits and gravy! They had Fox news running in the commons area, so that was the only negative for my stay.

Pretty good all in all. Bottom sheet kept coming off all night. I really don't like that and think holiday inn should be better than that. Good breakfast but egg quality should be improved.

Check-in was very smooth Myron was very nice. The room was very very nice. Very modern Big bathroom, large walk-in shower, lots of room to put things,and a little couch. Very pleased with this hotel wish all hotels were this clean and nice.

Did not get the requested rooms on our first night, but that was corrected by there staff for the next 2 nights. All else is very good. This is our 3rd or 4th stay at this location.

It was a beautiful hotel and very comfortable but the service was NOT the greatest. When we checked in the lady was almost rude to us and unhelpful. But then she turned around to the guy behind us and was very nice and helpful to him....

My checking experience was very quick. I love the fact they had the key ready for me. I got a first-floor room and never heard any outdoor noise. A water pressure was great in the shower. My room was able to get plenty cold!

The Holiday Inn and Suites in Maize, KS has clean rooms, comfortable beds, and good breakfast. Make sure to try the Cinnabon rolls.

This hotel was awesome. We checked in late. They have direct tv which is awesome! Breakfast was great.

The room was nice. There was a stain on the bed spread but it was white. There were also handprints on the boards above the windows. Don't know how those got there. The staff was friendly but my in laws room wasn't ready until an hour after they arrived.

Clean rooms, nice loacation. A bit more up to date then some of the other Holiday inn Express hotels in the area.

New hotel. Rooms were nice. Our ac unit made a little noise would be the only downside. The staff were very nice and accommodating.

I had a comfortable, clean, king-bed room at the Maize IS location. I usually stay at this location when I need a hotel in the area because the quality is always consistent. Friendly, helpful staff.

This is a newer hotel. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast consisted of standard items, and the food was plenty warm. The hotel and grounds are very clean. Good part of town.

The room was very large and nice, I enjoyed staying in it. It was in a very nice area, allowing me to feel safe.

Our one night stay was very enjoyable. The hotel offered complimentary breakfast, coffee and was incredibly friendly. There was a swimming pool and fitness center as well. A great holiday inn.

We stay here every time we come to the area for work. It's clean. The staff is friendly. There is an area we can all sit and relax while being able to catch up on work or just visit. Always a great experience.

You are getting what you are paying for. The rooms are nice enough and the bed is comfortable. Everything works good and has a great aesthetic appeal. Sound dampening is pretty much non existent though.

Our stay was wonderful. The place I was speaking for. Made the reservation for me, and booked a double queen. My wife ended up making the trip, and they changed us to a King no problem. The breakfast was better than good. Wheat options for many of the breads.

Clean, comfortable, quiet room near the stairwell. Plenty of electrical outlets. Did not use free WiFi or any of the usual amenities. Plenty of towels.

This was my first stay at a Holiday Inn Express in recent memory and it exceeded expectations. The staff was great, the rooms were clean & modern, and the breakfast was worth it. Parking was a breeze and it's built in an upcoming part of town. The only thing it is missing is a bar.

Our 2nd time to stay in 6 months; I still love the hotel, but....1) some hotel guests allowed their dog to roam freely through the breakfast area on 2 different days while they ate. I love dogs, but fear this behavior will lead to a 'no pet' policy. We travel with a small dog, but follow the rules people so we can continue to travel with our pets. (And why do some dogs walk the hallways unleashed?)
2) Some guests roamed the halls and came to breakfast barefoot (and they had not come from the pool)...could a sign be posted "must wear shoes and shirt!'
This is really on the guests, but maybe a polite reminder, although I did see signs regarding the pet policy.

Extremely annoyed from the moment of check-in. The front desk worker placed a form and pen in front of me never once stating what I needed to do or why. Items were highlighted so I assumed I needed to fill those portions out. Then, I pre-paid for a King Suite but they gave us a regular room with 2 queens. When we said something we were told they overbooked and didn't have a suite. They were able to provide us a regular king room. The front desk lady didn't seem to care that we already paid for a suite and were unhappy. I was excited to stay at this location, but now won't ever return. We booked and pre paid for a suite because we needed the extra room.

Nice modern rooms that I have come to expect when paying holiday Inn prices. Breakfast area is unique. Is on the edge of town, so traffic is not much of an issue.

We have stayed here many times and absolutely love it. The rooms are nice, clean and great sized. Breakfast is amazing and the pool/spa are always fun too. Definitely will stay again!

I only went there to change clothes in my friend's room and to pick up my brother to go to his wedding. The rooms were spacious and will appointed. All the staff I encountered are polite and helpful. It seemed like an excellent hotel.

The rooms are nice and modern and spacious and clean. The free breakfast has good variety but the eggs weren't great. Kinda rubbery. My favorite part are the beds and bedding. Very soft and comfy! Which is the most important part of a hotel

Pleasant place. Bathtubs are super slick, almost fell every morning taking a shower. Window dripped a little during one hell of a storm, nothing too bad though, and the storm was quite bad too. Over all great experience

We have stayed 4 times in the same room....Very clean, friendly , quiet at night, breakfast is great, feels like staying at Moms....

This hotel and my room were spotless. Although another review claimed the shower had no shelves, my shower had shelves; the bathroom was well stocked and organized. I give the bathroom high marks.

Staff when checked in at 7pm'ish was not welcoming and friendly -- a shortcoming in management and training. Late-night desk staff, however, was helpful.

Overall, I got a clean room that was either brand new or so well maintained that it seemed brand new.

Very nice hotel. Only about a year old. This is one of the nicest rooms I have ever stayed in. This is by far the BEST Holiday Inn Express I have stayed in. Nice big room, big bathroom, VERY clean!
