Unfortunately could not say I loved this hotel. It was how you say, GHETTO. So parts were nice (e.g bathrooms, dining room and complimentary breakfast) other (most everything else was awful). Elevator broken the whole time we were checked in. Room smelled off, old, frumpy rooms, and snobby staff. Asked for towels and was treated as if I asked for a heart transplant. They even checked my id. Would not recommend or stay there again.

Best Holiday Inn Express experience ever! Friendly service and a clean establishment. Everything actually worked. The standard breakfast is served but continuously tidied up and refreshed; and always with smiles.

If you're looking to stay in this area, this is the place.

Ordinarily I would rate a Holiday inn with three stars, but the staff here was extremely courteous and helpful. It was meticulously clean as well. Many hotels and resorts turn the air conditioning off in the wee hours to save money. This hotel kept the air conditioning on all night....I noticed because I suffer from insomnia. Their pillows are labeled on the pillow cases as either firm or soft. Check-out time was at noon, but because my husband had a trial going they allowed me to stay in my room till 3 in the afternoon. Very accommodating. Nice breakfast in the morning too.

Our hotel experience was amazing. The place was clean, and the employees were very nice. Jerome was especially great, he was kind, knowledgeable, and fun to talk to!

On the phone we were told that it wouldn't be more for 4 people in a 2br than if we were just doing 2 people in a 2 br. Wasn't the case. We got there a bit early and they let us hang out at the pool until we could check in so that was very nice and every one behind the counter was also very very nice. Especially Jerome!

After check in at 3pm, I opened of the rooms to discover that it has not been cleaned out. (We rented 2 rooms) Trash everywhere, the previous customer had trashed it, that's not the hotels fault, but upon asking room service for help, they could speak English for me to communicate to them that I needed the room cleaned. Or at least the sheets changed, I'm not too picky, I can throw trash. The main staff had to come up to translate for me to housekeeping. We agreed that I'd take the kids for a swim, so that they get the room cleaned. Upon entering the pool area with my kids at 3:15, they had a cleaning guy tell me that we'd have to wait approximately 30 minutes before my kids would be allowed to swim. At this point, I decide that my party & I should go to the front desk to speak with management. After about 10 minutes, they work it out & decide not to add the full amount of chemicals in the water so that guests can use the pool. It was 99 degrees outside, choosing to clean a pool on such a hot day , mid day was poor management.
The Other room, appeared to be clean, but we were told by head of housecleaning that it had not been cleaned as per their records & that even though it may have "looked" clean, some patrons don't disrupt the look of the room, by sleeping on top of the sheets, not messing up, etc. Ok, fine, we will also not use the other room while housekeeping finishes cleaning up room 2 as well.
About 4:25pm, we all head back to the room to get changed, assuming they were done & out our room. It had been an hour. I honestly don't know how long it takes to clean a room, but since there's no dishes to wash, and they were "sorry for the inconvenience" , they'd be finish. Yet, there was a housekeeper in the room.
"HI! Are you still working? Because at this point, I'll just take the room as is, we need to get dressed, we have an appointment at a certain time." Blank stare. This woman too, can not speak English either. Well, guess what, I don't speak Spanish & I need for her to get to steppin. So I point to the door. I open the door. Upon opening, head of housekeeping, I assume, who does speak English, says something to her, she goes out, she speaks to a different girl & the 3 of them carry on a conversation for a few minutes, before my friend jumps in & says, "I'm sorry guys but we need to get ready & we assumed our room was done."
"It was done, sorry, it's just been some misunderstand. "
We accept the apology, move on.
My room was nice once cleaned, however, the bathroom fan didn't work. Once someone showered or used it, the room stayed humid or stinky for a long time.
Would I stay here again? Most likely not. Unless it was at a discounted rate. Its location was central to where I needed to be at that time, which is why we chose it, along with the pool feature, knowing it would also be hot out.
EDITED: Upon arriving home, my friend also discovers that $145.95 was charged twice (one charge for each room) and then a $400 charge to the credit card on the day after check out. Now she has to call her bank, yada yada , to deal with this EXTRA issue.

Management is very nice and very helpful/willing to assist. Breakfast served in the morning (I believe it's free) and the rooms are very well kept. Beds were pretty average and the rooms were spacious. Not bad for the price considering other hotels in the area.

Close to the freeway and 24hour dining.

No hot water in the evening. Room smelled of stale smoke and had burns on the carpet. The gym had a water machine that did not work. The shower head sprayed every way but on me. Not much for 175 a night.

We loved it here. Clean, staff very friendly and the breakfast was great.

Service are great. Room ok..not the greatest.

Room is decent. Wireless internet leaves something to be desired. Staff was courteous and professional.

The staff here is very helpful. The breakfast served is delicious. The rooms are neat and tidy. Comfy beds and spacious rooms. They have a 24 hr gym. A swimming pool which can be visited between the given time. And last but not the least their room prices are super good.

Decent property. The neighborhood is neither good nor bad. Not a ton of option in the area. You get what you get.

Lots of people will say this is an old hotel. While it retains the the quirks of an older hotel, it is extremely clean. The staff extremely accommodating and friendly. The pool is huge and deep, with warm weather being outdoors was a great benefit for this trip. Hotel drops all of the pretense and gives a clean and nice place to stay for our extended trip. On the 7th floor it was extremely quite, and on the North side there was a great view of mountains. Thank You!!!!

Stopped by to visit someone and the staff was friendly and the hotel was nice and clean. I was able to have a free cup of coffee which was a real good cup of coffee.

Because one warm peaceful night of rest is priceless. I would recommend this place to all my friends.

It was okay. Whole hotel, from lobby to room, smelled musty. Bed linens did not feel like top quality, 100% cotton, but were decent enough.

I had a very pleasant night at this hotel they were very kind and they were very prompt. And the room was really nice. I usually don't sleep well in hotels but this time I fell asleep no problem.

Standard Holiday Inn Express. Reservations needed-often booked 100%. Breakfast is good. No smoking policy not always working. Friendly staff. Comfortable rooms.

All of the staff members were amazing. Jose helped me before I even got onto the plane and made sure in was able to get an early check-in . Ali was great as well he made conversation my whole stay and always had a smile on his face he should get a raise! Also Jonathan told us were there was a great burger place and he nailed it . It was one of the best I had ever been too. Only thing I didn't like about this hotel was that the bathroom smelled when I checked in . With all that set aside the staff really does value customer service!

The hotel was nice and everyone was very helpful. My only concern is that is not in one of the best areas.

Very nice place. Room start at $149 a night. Plenty of young women, available from what I saw there. As escorts for the night. Denny's, Taco Bell, and Burger King next door to it. And porno filming's up the street. If your into this type of stuff, I recommend it.

Room is a bit smaller than a typical HI Express, but still an extremely comfortable stay. Breakfast was good as always, and it was easily accessible from the freeway.

Well ordered​ place, good quick breakfast, excellent room service, pleasant atmosphere. The only issue was that its really too warm inside the hallways, and I had an issue with the room cards not working sometimes.

Room was clean. Hotel location is convenient. Staff pleasant. Our room was low on toilet paper when we checked in. The following day, it was not replenished. That evening we ran out so I called the front desk, requesting resupply. The front desk said they would bring it right up. This never happened. We had to use all of the nose tissues.

Layout is a little weird on the floors and kind of closterfobic but overall clean, easy, and convenient including in location.

Hotel is clean, but a little outdated. The room is on the smaller side. My family of three stayed here for two nights during vacation. Breakfast is OK but not great. The neighborhood is not high class by any standard. Hotel is right next to highway 405 and can be a little noisy during night. I would not recommend this hotel for family vacation.

Clean friendly place they have more then one room to conduct meetings. Plus they offer free coffee in the lobby area as well.

Queen beds felt small and were uncomfortable and the surrounding area wasn't nice. However, staff was very friendly the entire time and quickly responded when we requested an additional blanket. Everything was very clean too.

Exceptionally clean room. Friendly staff. Not in the best area, so I dont recommend going for a walk, drive if you need to get somewhere. Behind a car dealership, so lots of security lights and cameras around. The hotel and parking area seem secure.

Perfect place to crash after a full day at universal with the kids. Very clean, everything typical for the chain. The typical HIE breakfast was very orderly and well stocked and the breakfast room was spacious with big tables. Caveat: I think their occupancy was low so this is probably them at their best.

The facilities are very dated compared to other Holiday Inn Express locations that I've stayed at. The staff was not exceptionally unfriendly either.

This hotel is fine. It's a Holiday Inn Express. We had to book it last minute due to a death in the family. Our room was supposed to have two beds, but we got there too check in and they didn't have that. Luckily, I happened to have an aerobed from a trip the previous trip. The room smelled slightly off cigarettes and there were cigarette burns in the curtains. The bathroom was quite tiny and the shower over shot the tub and made a terrible mess on the floor. The staff is nice, they have a good breakfast. Overall the room was clean and the bed was comfy. I'd stay here again if I needed to.

Came in as a last minute change after being absolutely disappointed by the motel 6 nearby. The people here were happy to accomodate our needs and gave us wonderful service. The room was everything we paid for.

This Hotel Breakfast was great. Love the lobby of the Harbor hotel. The 5-6PM complimentary wine and beer hour was awesome. A great way to meet people from all over and play a couple table games! Then we have the late night 9PM cookie snack. They delivered two fresh chocolate chip cookies directly to my room and put me right to sleep. They even tucked me in!

Really enjoyed our stayed at this hotel, the staff was really friendly. The rooms were clean, modern and the beds were very comfy. The continental breakfast was delicious and it had a variety. I would definitely come back!

Unusual expedited for a Holiday Inn - was told our total charge including charges and everything would be $165. Come morning, they're claiming it would be $195 total, and they absolutely not bend on the sudden up charge. Disappointed in that, but the room was alright.

It's the best hotel I've ever stood in . It doesn't even feel like a hotel ; more like a resort. Hospitality was outstanding , from the front seat service to the guys who work outdoor in the freezing Van Nuys climate parking your car . I loved the professionalism and the small things like waking you up in the mornings with paper and coffee served to you in your room. I also used all the facilities which were unbelievable. However for the stay it wasn't cheap though they did upgrade room for no additional cost and it was worth ever penny .
