Great hotel at a great location. This hotel is great. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The hotel serves is very friendly and very helpful. It's hard to beat the location, too. You are located centrally near Grand Place and walking distance to sights, museums, transportation, and wonderful restaurants. It is very easy to get here from the airport, too. It took me less than 30 minutes via train and a short walk.

Great hotel, lovely helpful staff. Nice size rooms with a view of the cathedral. Excellent location within walking distance of the square. Just 20 minutes walk from the Eurostar station. Enjoyed breakfast as had a good buffet selection with a la carte option. Evening meal also excellent and good vegetarian options for me.

Excellent hotel in an unbeatable location next to the Grand Place. The rooms are modern and clean. The hotel looks well kept throughout. The bar area offers a pleasant spot for conversation. We only tried the hotel restaurant for breakfast, which was pretty nice (great strawberry juice). All staff were friendly throughout the stay.

We stayed at the Amigo for a nearly 2 week visit to Belgium. It is perfectly located in the old downtown area, right off the Grand Place, which offers a large variety of shopping and restaurants. The hotel did everything in their power to make us feel at home and to accommodate us in every way. Early in the trip I suffered a minor knee injury and room service was kind enough to make up a vacuum sealed ice pack for me whenever I needed one! Our room, a Classic suite, was the perfect space for a long visit. The hotel is quiet , beautifully decorated, and just a lovely place to stay.

If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around...

Starting with the warm welcome that greets you, this is a great hotel worthy of all the good things said about it. The hotel is in the centre of town, next to the Grand' Place, but the bedrooms are quite, and very comfortable. The hotel's restaurant is not to be missed

So so central, great service, friendly staff, amazing beds, lovely bathroom and toiletries. Only thing that could have been better was the TV, bit small and didn't work well (in my room at least!)

Hotel Amigo is wonderful hotel with 5 star amenities. While enjoying our stay I became ill and hotel staff were so supportive to my wife and son so they had one less thing to worry about while I was in hospital. Staff was first class attentive and helpful.

Location can't be beat. Service level from all staff members was exceptional. Rooms are very cozy and comfortable. One if the best hotel experiences I've ever had.

Highly recommend booking through AmEx Fine Hotels and Resorts if you have a Platinum card, as this is one of just a couple Brussels hotels in that platform, and the benefits are definitely worth it.

The location is wonderful, a few minutes from the Bourse. The staff are very friendly and the food is good. The decor could be described as either classic European or a bit dated. But, I think that's exactly what you're looking for when you come to a traditional European city like Brussels.

The #Hotel #Amigo was fabulous. It was superbly located in the very heart of #Brussels, adjacent to one of the most beautiful squares in Europe, Grand Place, close to Brussels' financial district and within easy walking distance of the antiques district of Le Sablon.

We had a free upgrade for our room which was fantastic. The #room was stylish, very large, with an office space, a large #bedroom and #bathroom. The view was on the Grande Place yet it was quiet.

We had #breakfast in bed; it was delicious. Most importantly, all the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, made us feel so welcome and at home! We will come again without hesitation.

Historical building over 500 years old and now a Rocco Forte hotel which means fantastic personal service and beautiful rooms each with a different character. Minutes from the Grand Place and the view out of our room was the town hall tower.

Rooms and suites give a nod to Belgium figures such as Tintin, Magritte and also historical art pieces.

Love the contemporary feel and you get to stay where the royals, celebrities or VIPs call home when they visit Brussels.

Good Italian restaurant Bocconi also serves breakfast.

Most perfect location in Brussels. We stepped out of this quaint boutique hotel right onto the stone streets in the heart of old Brussels shopping, restaurants, palace, etc. Perfect in every way.

Location, location, location. Also, beautiful, well appointed rooms, terrific service, blazing fast wifi included in the rooms. Expensive, but worth it if it's in your budget. Walking distance to everything, 30 seconds from the main plaza and the Brussels-Midi station. Tons of dining and drinking options right outside the doors.

We just spent 5 nights here with 3 other couples and we all agree that everything said by those on Tripadvisor and here at Google who are fans of the Amigo is right. We'd not been to Belgium before and are here with an "art guide" seeing both public and private collections. We were told to book at the Amigo..........so I read about the hotel on Tripadvisor and here and did what was suggested. We have a Junior Suite facing the street, #537, and we very much like it.

The Amigo is not flashy but it's lovely and it's quiet and it's clean and staff is wonderful. This is a credit to the hotel's General Manager, Philippe Spagnol, who seems to be a very nice fellow and strong manager.

The key word about the Amigo's staff is NICE. Everyone seems intelligent and on the same wavelength as to wanting to please guests. From the moment we arrived and checked in at 11am after our flight from New York we dealt with terrific front desk people and concierges.

We love Belgium and have been on day trips to Bruges & Ghent in addition to our time in Brussels..........we shall be coming back and we shall be staying here.

Thanks everyone for a wonderful stay. You made us feel like this is our home in Brussels.

while there are several good hotels in brussels, i like the amigo because of its excellent location in the old part of the city.
