We dined at the downstairs Ichiban restaurant. Both this restaurant and the Standard are top notch. Food comes out quickly and is delicious.

Our room was very nice, and it was convenient to have rooftop bar (though finding it open was hit or miss). Having a live band playing in the lobby made checking in rather aggravating. We couldn't hear a word that was said from clerk. Awkward start. Overall an average experience that I don't think we would repeat

This hotel was very convenient in terms of finding great choices to eat but that's about all I enjoyed. There was an issue with my reservation and the reservation of the customer who was in line next to me so make sure you bring printed confirmations of your reservation. My room was comfortable and clean but it was noisy - I could hear the people in the room on either side of me as well as people outside the hotel. I don't know about other rooms, but my room had a severe lack of plugs. There is also no set parking for the hotel so you basically are forced to pay extra for valet parking...which is very annoying if you will be coming and going a lot during your stay.

The room was nice, but there was a lot of noise in the hallway. The bar upstairs wasn't my first choice to hang out at and the pool was small. I liked the view though.

I have been here multiple times. Try to get a price/room that includes breakfast. The breakfast is from Rebel Cafe or the Standard which is right outside the hotel. Love the Rebel Cafe food. (Don't go to starbucks.. lol) Hotel service is great, rooms are too. The balcony rooms have a mini fridge. Bathrooms are large. Rooftop bar, pool and gym. A+ overall. The surrounding places to go are great too. Nearby, Green Cup Cafe is great too. Firestone Rooftop bars, ladies night on Wednesday is fun. There are bars are all around.

Came out on May 4th, and my group of friends almost had the entire roof to ourselves. The ambiance is nice, but I had a minor problem: My drink was a Crown and Ginger, but it had this awesome bitter taste. I mentioned to the bartender the issue and she gave me a new drink, no problem. She put a little more alcohol in the second drink and it smothered the weird bitter taste I was getting before.

I went to pay for my drink, and she mentioned that she looked into it and found that the Ginger Ale had went bad.

I kind of feel like after finding out it went bad, she should've came and got me for a completely new drink. Maybe it was timing and she just realized it just prior to me paying. At least she was open and honest about it, and got my first drink replaced with no hassle.

The ambiance and view from the roof was pleasant, and I enjoyed it way more than SkyBar.

Nice and cozy!

Rooftop bar is a nice bonus!

Room was super clean, bathroom was pristine. Staff is nice and is within walking distance to many restaurants and entertainment.

There are additional restaurants located in the lobby but definitely not restrictive as there are many good restaurants within 5 mins walk.

Stayed November 2017. Was supposed to travel to Ft. Myers for a local race but was deferred due to construction from Hurricane Irma. Originally picked the location for the convenience to race start/finish line. Still a great visit with the hotel close enough to walk to nearby local events, stores, and restaurants. Sanibel Island and Captiva Island is about a 30 minute drive, too. Definitely would return to the hotel when visiting Ft. Myers again.

A family member and I stayed here for a weekend about a month and a half ago for my baby shower. Growing up in Fort Myers, I was familiar with Hotel Indigo and remember when it was first built and had positive memories of it, but upon staying here this past time it was truly terrible. While the room itself was clean and comfortable, the staff was unaccomodating, unhelpful and did not seem to want to bother themselves to help us with anything. I was 7 months pregnant at the time and upon arrival, we were clearly struggling with our luggage, but the valet/bell hop stood at his podium texting, even looked up at us, but went back to his business. Also, no one at the front desk attempted to help, they just watched us struggle with bags. Also being this far along, I needed to be able to have water at all times, and requested a pitcher of water (there is a roof top bar, so this would've been EASILY do-able), but the front desk basically shrugged their shoulders and suggested I drink out of the bathroom sink. When we arrived in the room, we discovered a mystery stain on the sheets under the comforter - as if they hadn't even been changed. The day we checked out, we called down for a luggage cart, and the front desk again told us that there weren't any, and we were on our own - didn't offer to help, or to bring one up when one was available. When we came down to look for one, a different valet/bell hop, said the same thing, and basically ignored us. For over $200 a night - I expect staff to help when a guest is asking for it - the whole point of staying at a hotel is to be relaxed and feel like a GUEST. I was very disappointed in how every single person working throughout the weekend didn't lift a finger to help us no matter what our question was, and didn't even attempt to offer a solution even if they didn't have an immediate one.

Deluxe, but low key Boutique Hotel. Has small bar near desk, as well as a rooftop bar at the pool. Lobby arcade has a handful of shops and restaurants. An awesome location right downtown, two blocks from the river and easy access to the main highways. There is a small entertainment area, think... Bourbon Street, one block east of the hotel which has myriad shops, restaurants and bars.

Natalie arranged the papaerwork and payment for us when we rented the Palm Room for a small gathering. She was warm and welcoming and took her job seriously. The space was bright, clean, and offered many amenities. The staff were helpful and quick to make adjustments to a few settings in the room. The Valets were also extremely eager to help bring all the supplies in and were friendly and went above and beyond. I highly recommend Natalie to assist in rentals and event planning.

Large modern rooms with comfortable beds and large showers. The hotel staff is top notch from the front desk to the valet, staff is exceptionally professional, friendly and polite. The hotel itself is in the old post office building in the historic part of downtown. The lobby boasts a couple of neat dining options including Ichiban sushi, Rebel Coffee and the Standard restaurant. Parking is scarce but the location is supper convenient to loads of bars and restaurants in the area

We only went to the rooftop bar. They have a lot of accommodations up top: couches, a pool, and plenty of seating. It has a FANTASTIC view of the city, particularly at night, and you feel like royalty drinking there. However, this night, there was also a DJ. Typically this would be a positive aspect of a night out, but there were only a few patrons up top and this guy just kept blaring music. It was loud and obnoxious. He should have toned it down.

Great hotel and great location. Our first two nights were wonderful and the staff is very accommodating. Be careful on the weekends as locals will use this hotel as a party headquarters. Our last night was filled with loud music, which the hotel staff addressed and door slamming and debauchery in the hallways until about 2 am. Supposedly we we're staying on the quiet floor(3). I would hate to spend times on the loud floors.

PS there is a rooftop bar that locals use so many times there are non hotel guests in the elevators.

Pros: Location is right downtown Fort Myers and is easy to get in and out of Staff is very friendly A couple restaurants in the building plus a Starbucks connected Large rooms with wood floors and many Windows Cons: No parking - Valet is $18/day - I'm not really a fan of relying on someone else for my car One person working valet so wait times can be long to get your car No fridge in the rooms Pool area is mediocre Downstairs bar is never open it seems? Poor water pressure and water doesn't drain well in the sinks Thin walls, can hear everything in the room next door and my bed backed up to the joined room's TV wall

Excellent atmosphere! Beautiful building. Staff was pleasant! The only complaint I can think was the bartender closed at 9pm with a somewhat full bar. Seemed like you would want to stay open and make the money.

Nice hotel with a degree of elegance. It is clean and comfortable. The front desk young ladies were not interested that the room coffee pot was malfunctioning. The seemed a bit snooty.

Our stay at Hotel Indigo was decent. The rooms were nice, as was the hotel itself. However, beware of valet parking fees. There is no signage that indicates that you will be required to pay valet parking (and it's not cheap). Every hotel that I've ever stayed at offers complimentary valet, so this took me by surprise. In addition, their convenience stand at the front desk is quite pricey. $6 for one bottle of beer, $15 for a tiny/personal bottle of champaign, and $35 for a bottle of Moscoto that we could've picked up at Walmart for $9. It was a little ridiculous.

Boutique hotel. Rooms on the small side but nice and modern. Cool rooftop terrace, but not too many people there. The DJ was an elderly lady which was a bit of a surprise. Hard to find parking nearby.

We have always liked staying in Hotel Indigo but it is definitely one of those hotels where you pay more but do not necessarily GET more. Sometimes I feel that it would be worth paying a bit less to get a free breakfast option and free luggage trolleys (You have to have the valet come get your items which means paying more for that service as well). The keurig machine in the room would not heat up water without leaving coffee granules and residue in the water, even after trying 5 times the water was still not clear) but there is a Starbucks right down the street so I got my water for my tea there instead. The perk is that by paying more, you are staying close to all the action, so you can leave your car parked in a garage or do valet and walk EVERYWHERE but it will cost a pretty penny. The room was nice and clean, plus they use Aveda brand toiletries which is pretty fantastic!

Upon arrival parking was a little difficult but once I found the valet spot it was easy. They do charge for parking but it's under $20. Beautiful entry way, clean hallways and the room was amazing! Corner room with great views. The rooftop bar and pool is simply amazing. Definitely will recommend it.

The indigo Hotel is a special historic place in the life of Fort Myers. The courtyard inside is a welcoming place. There are several shops and restaurants in the Lower Courtyard, namely the Chinese and Japanese restaurant where you can get fabulous sushi and other delectable Asian dishes. Atop the building is a fabulous swimming pool, and a great view point to look out over the city and the harbor and watch glorious sunrises and sunsets

Hotel Indigo prides itself on delivering a unique Guest experience, and this property is pretty great. The rooftop bar and pool area offers unmatched and beautiful views of the Downtown Fort Myers river area. Especially at nighttime, the rooftop bar is a great atmosphere. The lobby bar is also great for a nice, quiet drink.

Nice, quaint hotel in downtown Fort Myers that's a short walk to everything. Had a corner room on the second floor. Both the room and bathroom were very spacious and the modern. The bathroom had an enormous walk in shower and a long countertop. The bathroom was also well lit by a large eastward facing window that allowed plenty of light in as the sun began to rise in the morning. There wasn't much of a view from our second floor window. However, up on the roof top terrace, you could see quite a distance of downtown and the surrounding areas. Wish we had more time for a swim or cocktail up on the rooftop.

Tip.. during the weekends, you can park on the street for free. Not sure about parking during weekdays.

Lobby bar is hardly ever open, roof top bar is the same. The valet service is worthless. Takes 20 minutes to get your car even when you call ahead. They even got the one of the people in my group's car a parking ticket with nothing more than a shoulder shrug as an explanation. You cant check in until 4 even though all the rooms on our floor seemed to be cleaned by 2. I will however say that the rooms were clean and at least the desk staff was nice although not very helpful. Cool location. Expected way more for the price of the room. I hope they can get their stuff together at some point but as of now it just isn't worth the money. They just seem severely understaffed.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for a weekend get away. The rooms and lobby are awesomely updated. The shower was great! The restaurants and nightlife of Downtown Fort Myers is in walking distance. There is a roof top bar(with happy hour) with a great view of Downtown and the water. The customer service and small pool were a bit lacking but overall a great stay.
