An amazing experience have some factors there are sometimes very personal to each traveler and for me this whole experience started with the hotel location, if you are visiting Moscow for tourism this is one of the best places to stay, located across the red square and kremelin and if you are lucky to get a front facing room you will see both from your window .
The hotel it's also a architectural landmark in Moscow with an amazing old building, the rooms are big and the amenities on the bathroom are on pair with the expectations.
The service was nearly impeccable with great housekeeping.
Breakfast it's good and located on the second floor.
Overall I highly recommend this Hotel!

A gorgeous hotel. Beautiful!
Wonderful experience here. Stayed here for two nights. Rooms were excellent. The staff wonderful.
The restaurants are world class. As should be in a 5star hotel.
The buffet breakfast is a must have in the morning.
Just a stone's throw away from Moscow Kremlin. This is definitely a must stay if you are here.

This hotel is a true gem - you go back in time and immerse yourself into an atmosphere of Soviet luxury. Red carpets, marble stairs, crystal chandeliers. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable, you can opt for having your breakfast served in your room. It met and exceeded all my expectations and it's worth every penny. It is a hotel not to be missed!

Loved the hotel in all aspects. We stayed for three nights and got to experience many of their facilities and services, all were excellent. The Dr Zhivago restaurant had great food and a fantastic view of the Kremlin added in.

The front desk, concierge and other staff were helpful in every way. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Located in the very center of Moscow, this beautifully looking hotel has the charm of old days and amenities of modern time. We spent there just a day, but had time to enjoy nice wellness center including gym, sauna and small swimming pool. Breakfast is served in a room overlooking the entrance to the Red Square and service is close to perfect.

Far away from 5 stars!!! Rooms very special. You can smell the dust over the years. Massage bathtube but not really in best condition. Bar like a railway station location and for the type of hotel exagerated prices. The breakfast has a nice buffet, but the stuff is completely disorganised. For your tee you have to ask 2 or 3 times. Fried eggs served after 45 minutes cold and burned, the second day after second order, the didn't come.
Really disappointed!!! The best is just the central location of the hotel just in front of the Kremlin!!!

Centrally located just 200 m from Red Square, this hotel offers views of the Moscow Kremlin, a free spa with indoor pool and rich breakfast buffet with international dishes. Spacious and cozy rooms with a separate seating area are offered at the National Hotel. Each room features a comfortable desk. Some rooms boast Tverskaya street view, while others have a backyard view.

Variety of Russian and European dishes, as well as original desserts and pastry, is offered at the hotel's bar. The free spa centre features a free sauna, fitness centre and hot tub. For an extra charge, massages, the solarium and beauty treatments are available at the beauty salon.
Bolshoi Theatre is 200 m from the hotel. Okohotny Ryad Metro Station is located opposite the hotel, providing connections to all parts of Russia’s Capital.

The hotel and our room ( Kremlin Suite) were facing Kremlin & Red Square. Excellent location & view ! A historical hotel where Stalin, Lenin and many of the world leaders had stayed in the hotel. The hotel staff treated us as VIP guests. Respectful and elegant.Expensive but worth it. Highly recommended

Our stay at the Hotel National was great. It's extremely well locate, you get your breakfast looking to Kremlin! The room that we stayed was big, very clean, great bathroom. The staff was extremely helpful, they speak very good English. When we arrived at our room, probably because was a special date for me and my wife, there was a outstanding chocolate cake, we enjoyed very much. The breakfast was superb, many options, including fruits, a good Russian sparkling wine and many Russian foods. Great hotel.

Rooms had nice high ceilings, the location couldn't be better; right across from the Red Square. Definitely a much older and historical hotel, but still has modern luxury amenities.

Loved this hotel! So comfortable and beautiful. My room was a double and was quite spacious, the bed comfy. Everything was clean and the staff extremely friendly and professional. Got my winter boots shined every night (complimentary service). The location is as good as it gets. The breakfast is included in the price of room and is outstanding - and the view of the Kremlin is magical. The gym, pool and sauna are very nice. Service is great. Beluga restaurant is exquisite. Loved everything about this place. And the prices here are very reasonable (considering the prime location and prices of hotels nearby). My only complaint: they don't recycle at all. With complimentary bottled water for guests there is a lot of waste - so many plastic bottles being thrown away each day. This hotel could do the right thing and be a leader in recycling!

Absolutely stunning place. The level of service is superb. If you are fluid on hotel pricing, for the center of Moscow this hotel is very decently priced if you do a booking from prepayment pages.

This hotel is a historical legacy, located in pre-Revolution building in the very heart of Moscow. Rooms and suites are more luxurious then functional. The hotel offers good prices for weekend stays.
Guest service does its job poorly, but this is also a Soviet tradition.

The Hotel is designed in typically Russian/Soviet style, so if you want to experience the real atmosphere of posh soviet style, this is a good place to stay in. The staff is highly professional and is always at your disposal. The only observation I would make, is that the prices are exaggerated either for the room, either for the Bar area. In general I would say that it doesn't correspond to 5 stars level. The good thing is that it's positioned in front of Red Square and close to Dr.Zhivago restaurant, just next door!

Amazing location overlooking the Red Square. Other than that, the hotel is your average 5-star hotel. The Ritz just behind it is much better if it's hotel quality you're looking for.

Room and hotel were clean and prompt. The restaurant service was horrible. They love to insult foreign guests in their native tongue and they try to portray they don't know the language to you when they clearly do as they are speaking to other waiters. Their arrogance to think they couldn't be understood is amazing. I'd rather spend my time in a Iranian jail before I'd spend another ruble to those disrespectful people.

An excellent location for everyone that is interested in exploring Moscow The staff is always really kind... all of them are doing their best to help you!!! The delicious breakfast with the view directly to the Kremlin is exactly what you need for the first perfect moments of the day!!! The room was really clean, providing everything that was necessary and the hotel facilities was ideal for me! Everything.... was much more than what i was expecting and i should mark that the value for money is really good too!!! Of course... i will come back again without any hesitation!!!I would like to express my thanks to everyone for taking care of me.... i am sure that i will never forget the historic "National Hotel" of Moscow!!!!
