Clean, comfortable, affordable. Most important, Krispy Kreme is across the street. 😁

The staff is friendly. Check in was quick.

Breakfast was good, fresh waffles, juice, toast, Muffins and cereal. No fruit or eggs.
The rooms were clean, this is not a 5 star hotel so don't expect super fancy rooms.
The toilet seat was broken. Tub was clean though, no residue so that was good.
The walls are painted blue and the headboards seemed new.

The window unit AC blew cold all night, this is Florida so keep that in mind, it will be humid no matter how high you turn the AC up.

We did use the pool, it was clean, but probably needs a pressure wash on the concrete around the pool.

Parking was packed after 10pm.

Travelodge down the street had roaches each time we stayed so we'll probably come back here again if in this area. This was the second time we've stayed here. It was decent.

Very quiet! Excellent plumbing, lots of hot water, heater worked very well, sheets were very clean and soft, bed was incredibly soft memory foam (?), plenty of lights, good number of hangers, lots of drawers, microwave and mini fridge were convenient, and by the room was more than satisfactory. Evening check-in staff was very pleasant and answered my questions about possible noise and illicit behaviors outside with good humor and positive assurances. Only ding was the check-out staff, who was engaged in a lengthy and (completely unnecessary) dominating discussion that suspended only briefly when I asked a question. This gave a strong impression that women came second in that staff's world. Staff did not engage in a "hoslitality" manner.

I have stayed many times at this location during my travels. It's clean and friendly .They have added many new things to the rooms to make your stay more comfortable and enjoyable. They always strive to improve the facilities. Nice clean pool to swim in. Its in a good central location near shopping and not far to beaches. The value you get for your money is excellent. Have fun on your next visit.

Nice prices breakfast too much carbs bread more bread not good the people nice and the bed is comfortable very good didn’t want to wakeup lol Pool clean but here in there will have a noisy neighbors/smokers but still i liked it god blessed us a place to stay for two night to go to a funeral.

This hotel is a very great place if you are a drug dealer,pimp,sugar daddy,convicted child molester ,etc. lots of amenities, such as dirty panties out side of our door, a mysterious white susbstance dripping down the inside of the door, and a stained chair that bed bugs would not enjoy sleeping on. Just wanted to say have a wonderful night at this hotel as you fall asleep to the sound of drug deals, fights ,barking dogs and along with the lovely screaming children outside of your door as you go to sleep.

Nice dining area and a very nice breakfast, but ends at 9:30. Friendly staff and comfortable beds, offers extra items at front desk. Reasonable prices comparable to a 2 star hotel.

Okay location. Very small room, but clean. Not a good breakfast. Friendly staff.

Rooms: Rooms are a single room that includes Dish TV, sinks outside of the bathroom, fridge and microwave. Shampoo, conditioner, and soap are provided. I provided pictures for what the rooms look like. They're sub-par to average for the price.

What fellow guests were like: Many guests were younger (under 40) and Hispanic. There were some older Caucasians (over 50) mixed in. Personally, I did not see many kids.

Location: Along the main road (US 41) but can be hard to find. I suggest bringing a GPS, as a nearby restaurant partly blocks the hotel's one entrance.

Other notes: The fridge's default and unchangeable temperature partly froze my drinks, which made me wonder if it was a fridge or a freezer. There are 2 other hotels across the street all owned by the same parent company (you'll see the "Wyndchester Wizard" at each front desk).

Rooms are modern and clean. Newer furniture and very comfortable mattresses. The outside is a dump. Horrible and dangerous condition. Crumbling concrete, rusted hardware, exposed reebar, walls, stairs, doors are dirty and need paint.

Room are nice, but needs some cleaning. Doors doest lock properly. Nice staff, bad neighbours - police knocking on the next door upon my checkin :)

A little sketchy on the outside. The building is old. We put our own sheets on the bed because theirs were stained. Like that there was a fridge, microwave, and coffee pot. Desk people were real nice but they photocopied our i.d.'s (I understand) and our credit card (I don't understand). Said it was for their records. I don't like my information out there like that but they wouldn't give it back.

It was calm, clean and had restaurants nearby at walkable distances. I had a sound sleep, so I've got no complains about anything.

Cindy in the front office was great she made sure I was happy and answered all my questions, the staff was very friendly and my maid was very nice, the rooms are basic no frills but comfortable for the price, there are plenty of restaurants and shopping stores within walking distance. If your looking for a decent place to stay I would recommend Howard Johnson for the price.

Check in was somewhat hectic as the guy at the front desk couldn't find our reservation. 10 mins later finally all was sorted and we got our room key.
Overall the room was great as expected at this level hotel. The shower was clean and it seemed to be renovated recently.

I affectionately call this hotel, "hotel hell." The positives: it's clean, the bed is comfortable, the shower is hot, great tv, continental breakfast, laundry facility, hotel staff is always friendly to us and pet friendly. The negatives: MAJOR drug dealing and prostitution. It's so bad, the dealers and prostitutes don't even attempt to be sly about it. We've stayed here off and on through out the past 4 years, and the riff raff have just gotten worse.

Comfy beds. Air condition wasn't the greatest. But it was cheap and did the job for a night

$80 value that can't be beat. I don't understand these 2 and 2.8 star reviews at all. 2 queen beds, a microwave and fridge. A desk with free wi-fi. Nice hot shower. There is even a pool, but I figured it is closed for the seaon. I don't know. TV with what ssmeems like 100 channels. Extra chair with foot rest. Muffins cereal and coffee at breakfast. $80 deal of a lifetime.

For the money..46$ on priceline..its good enough. the room was clean, beds clean carpet was clean. It is out dated a little,but no complaints here. Left from the keys and stayed here on our way back to Indiana.pool is a plus too!I think it's a good deal. would stay here again if coming back this way.

The Howard Johnson's in Fort Myers is a great location the rooms are clean and this room service sucks cuz they try to come in your room when you tell them not to

All and all wasn't a bad stay. Room was ready when we arrived, breakfast was simple and started when they said it would. Clean with no trash left from prior persons. The restraunts in walking distance and jet blue park not to far by car so that all worked out.

Read Previous reviews. was scared to stay but had a great price for 2 rooms. Let me just say this.... previous reviews are GARBAGE and from when old management ran this place.

Rooms are clean, bathrooms are clean, paint is fresh, beds are comfortable and air conditioning will FREEZE you out!!!!

We are passing through and stopped for a short overnight visit with friends. I chose this hotel due to its location and them having semi parking. We enjoyed the pool very much. The area is clean and the pool is a nice size. We opted for the double bed room since it was closer to the truck parking. There is some cosmetic issues that could be fixed but everything is in working order. Everything seemed clean and I haven't seen any bugs but the carpet really needs cleaned. I didn't notice it being dirty but I don't like to wear shoes and within an hour of showering my feet are black! The staff is very friendly and helpful. If ever back in this area in the truck, we will stay again. If we come by car, it will still be a contender but I'd prefer to be closer to the beach

Clean rooms, decent space. However there is shoddy work done either in the making of the room or in remodeling, as there is a bare light in the bathroom and the shower head is not fixed. Overall an average place

Clean room but, can't double lock the door and latch broken. Nice pool and nice people operating it.

As always the food was delicious - some new Asian inspired items on the menu. The service is impeccable. This is a go to restaurant in this area and it deserves to be.

Always a good experience staying at the HOJO. Clean rooms , fast wifi, and ice cold AC. Gotta love the complimentary breakfast

Room was clean but missing the safe in the closet. And it was drill holes where the safe was and it wasnt painted the same color. Continental breakfast was ok. You make your own waffles two types of dry cereal, oatmeal, toast, danishes coffee, orange juice and apple juice. If you have any food in the hotel do not leave out because we ordered pizza and 2 hours later we had lots of baby ants. For the price its ok.

Good for the price. Very clean. Booked hotel online, room key card was already prepared before i arrived. Clean rooms, nice king size bed. TV was good. AC was a bit loud because its a window unit, not a big deal. Nice breakfast. I will choose howard johnson again for my future travels and will recommend this place to friends and family.

Pretty nice hotel with reasonable rates and great customer service. Dont know if I'd swim in the pool though.
