We think of ourselves as guests of this planet, and are committed to doing our part to take care of it. Challenges like climate change and water scarcity create risks for people and the environment, as well as for our hotel. We are committed to reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions, use less water, produce less waste and make more environmentally responsible purchasing decisions. Green Key Eco-Rating Program 4

With more than 1,200 hotels certified in Canada since its inception in the 1990s, the Green Key Eco-Rating Program awards hotels an environmental rating of one to five Green Keys. Green Key members are then given guidance on how to "unlock" opportunities to reduce operating costs and environmental impacts - and in turn earn more keys.

The Green Key audit looks at nine major areas of sustainable hotel operations:
• Energy conservation
• Water conservation
• Solid waste management
• Hazardous waste management
• Indoor air quality
• Community outreach
• Building infrastructure

I am so happy of the beautiful renovations they have made! The location is 100% perfect and their steam room super relaxing! I highly recommend this hotel

Spent a week in the hotel for work and I have stayed her in the past. The only issue I had this time around is at check in there was one employee and an airline crew checking in before me. The staff member seemed to spend a log time with with and then rushed me away. The room was clean and the view was fantastic. Good location with some good food options around and close enough to everything. I would recommend it and I will definitely be back be it for work or pleasure.

Had an amazing stay.

I arrived and was greeted by a very friendly valet. He offered me Valet or self parking and informed me of the advantages to valet. I chose to self park and he offered me instructions.

Upon arrival at the lobby, you can tell that this is a place that holds high standards from lighting to ambience I felt like I had made a great choice to stay the night.

Checkin was simple and the team working was very professional, informative and pleasant.

Going into the room the temperature was set perfectly and the room had been cleaned well. The bed was soft and the pillows were fantastic. The bathroom was spotless, from this decade.

The pool was clean and provided a great view.

What was even more surprising was the location to shops and restaurants.

Definitely will return had a great stay.

Thank you to the entire team, house keeping to management.

Stayed there with family a few weekends ago and the hotel was nice and clean. Would love to stay there again due to it’s convenient location in the core of Downtown Montreal. The only request would be to have more available and faster customer service, waited 20 minutes in line to check in due to only two people assisting the front desk and rooms not being ready. Other than that, the rest was all good!

Clean and modern rooms. Pool area could use some help especially the outdoors. Enjoyed the wet and dry saunas. Very nice staff. Currently under construction as of 9/2/2018 so a bit of a maze trying to get in and out

Very nice hotel. Mall and food court attached to hotel via elevator. During the summer it's located near festivities including the Montreal Jazz Festival. The hotel has a fully equipped gym next to an indoor pool that has a sunroof; simply beautiful during the day and evening!

I was there for a convention that took place very close to the hotel. It was a great spot that allowed me to walk to the Congress centre within 5 minutes. The hotel is also connected to a mall with a food court of your looking to eat some more veriety of foods in a close proximity. The staff was very friendly and extremei accommodating to the convention goers like myself considering how busy this weekend must have been for them. Check in and out was very fast well

Hotel and staff were very nice! However, there were a couple of things that I should mention!
1. I didn’t like how there was a mall right next to where you enter instead of the lobby.
2. There were two separate elevators! For example, there was one elevator that took you to the lobby which is on like the 6th floor and the second lead to your room.
3. Is that at one point there was no valet worker! Either the worker was late/sick or who knows.

Fine in general. No views unless you buy up. Reception on the 6th floor is a big weird but the shopping mall has lots of food options and a deed decent grocery store. Bath was rather dark with poor mirror light; appears to be an internal light in the mirror but it did not work. Room was not made up one day. Tiny fridge. Good bed.

10

Great hotel. Kind of difficult to get to because you have to take one elevator up to the 6th floor from the shopping center and that puts you out by the bar area and you walk around to reception, then take another set of elevators to get to the guest rooms. Other than that quirk, I had a great stay and would definitely come back. It's nice to be connected to the shopping center if you need to go buy anything or grab some food. The hotel has a pool table that let's guests play for free which I loved. They also have a wine bar and you can purchase a card for $20 from the front desk and try different wines from about 30 wines available, and it's open until 3am (regular bar closes at 11pm).

My family and I stayed at the Hyatt Regency whilst in Montreal. It was near a mall and a lot of attractions to see nearby. The atmosphere was absolutely beautiful, interior was clean, polished, and updated! The hotel room was clean, as the staff were very kind!

However, one thing that I did not like was the pool. It was fairly dirty, but the upstairs to the balcony had a beautiful view of Montreal! Would definitely come here again next time I visit Montreal again :)

Hotel rooms are alright. The bathroom doors is a sliding ones, which could make it awkward sometimes, haha.. pool was amazing and the steam room was really nice too. Breakfast was good (buffet) self park is 100% the way to go. Valet is very slow and not work the price.

Very nice place that leaves no wishes unfulfilled. Huge breakfast buffet! For business events it is great because of all the facilities they offer for seminars and alike. It is attached to a beautiful shopping center (just go all the way down in the elevator and you're right there) which is also directly connected to the metro and underground city. Chinatown and a few museums are just a short walk away. The staff is very helpful and friendly and there is a garage.

Great location, both summer and winter there is so much to do around the hotel since it’s in the heart of the city!
The staff was friendly and helpful.
The rooms were nicely renovated and modern with a touch of beautiful art!
The beds were very comfortable and the bar was such a great ambience.
Definitely worth while.

This was a great hotel. I loved the decor and the newly-renovated rooms were neat, luxurious and very comfortable. There was still some construction going on around the outsider of the building while I was there, but I couldn't hear it on the 20th floor. The service was friendly, bilingual and efficient. Overall, a very pleasant stay. Thanks!

This is a great hotel located very close to Rue St. Catherine in downtown Montreal. The hotel is attached to an indoor shopping mall and is very close to many attractions. The rooms are recently upgraded and it has many amenities for both the business and leisure traveler. The staff are very friendly and professional. The hotel contains a lounge and restaurant which are very good. I definitely recommend this place.

Very chic and attractive hotel under going some renovations. Is a large convention hotel with attached meeting space and a shopping center. Features and staff are top notch and the only reason not giving five stars is the guests. I had a hospitality suite in the room above mine and they were loud and noisy. Hotel staff sent security and I put on headphones. Next morning they were breaking down the hospitality suite and sounded like someone dropped ball bearings every few minutes for the next hour. Hotel relocated me after second incident.

The hotel was located in the heart of the city. Fantastic location! The room was affordable and had direct access to an underground shopping mall, but it should be noted that this mall is seperate from the underground city. The service was great. The room was clean and comfortable, and we had a great view of the city!

Hotel staff were very friendly. Meeting rooms were a comfortable temperature (a nice change from the usual freezing rooms during conferences at other locations!) Audio and visual was great and food service was good. The room was large and comfortable. There was lots of room in the bathroom. The shower had great water pressure. The location was close to nice shopping and restaurants. I would stay here again.

9

Nice facility with easy access off-street parking, and comfortable beds and pillows. Not very central to downtown, but, as for overall coverage of the city, you'll be better placed for walking tours and taxi/Uber rides. The grocery store with wine and beer, and the shopping mall make picking up forgotten odds-n-ends quite convenient.

The rooms are outdated. They need renovations. The quick interactions I had with a couple of the staff members was pleasant. Also getting in and out of the hotel is frustrating as you have to take two separate elevators and during peak times, the elevators are quite slow

Stayed here during a professional conference. Easy 2-3 block walk to the conference center from hotel. My room was upgraded to one of the newer renovated rooms, which was spacious and comfortable. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Pool area was lovely. This hotel is also attached to a mall, which is nice.

I stayed at one of the upgraded rooms. Spacious and clean rooms. The buffet breakfast was very good. Great location next to Metro station. Restaurants and shopping nearby. The cons would be very slow and outdated elevators and noisy old mini fridge in the room.

The Hyatt Regency in Montreal may be one of the most poorly designed layouts I've ever seen at a hotel. The elevators are incredibly slow and you need to take two separate ones to get to the rooms. The beds are too hard, pillows are too soft, and the sheets are scratchy. For the price, you can find much nicer hotels in Montreal. I would not stay here again.

Located at the center of Montreal. Close to public transport and the square where a lot of events will be held. If you don't mind to walk a little, you can walk to the old port area through Chinatown. Went there for a brief meeting with friends so I can't comment on the rate and services. But location wise and cleanliness wise (lobby, waiting area, rest room etc) is consider very good.

Have stayed at this hotel a half dozen times in the last couple of years. Outstanding service and helpful staff at all hours. During an extremely busy event week, check-in was delayed due to lack of available rooms. Problem was resolved in about an hour, which game my compatriots and I time to grab a quick bite to eat. Rooms have always been clean and well maintained.

7

Nice rooms, good location if you need anything (mall is downstairs). Not as close to all the bars we frequented, but not too far of a walk. Pool was nice, not open in the mornings during the week. Some very good lunch and dinner choices right there. Figuring out where the main lobby is a challenge. We parked under the mall and wandered around looking for the check in desk. Figured out it was on the 6th floor. They need more signs for new visitors.

I visited the bar/restaurant for dinner before a show we were going to see at Place Des Arts. Being that we had to get to a show we needed somewhat far service and it was. We ate at the bar and the bartenders made sure to look in on us regularly. As for the food my duck confirm grilled cheese sandwich was great. My wife had a thin/flat pizza. It had good flavors but it was, unfortunately, a little dry. The wine the bartender recommended was good but not cheap ($19 for 9 ounces). That is actually more expensive than each of our meals... Overall a good experience and would stop by again to try other food options but not the pizzas.

Our vacation started a bit rocky... After our first hotel was an absolute disaster... bugs everywhere! We phoned the Hyatt and Julie was so wonderful! Our room was booked through expedia. Or stay was somehow booked for the incorrect night so the hotel offer to comp breakfast which was nice. The room was nice and overlooked a park. The hotel has direct access to the underground city and is in close proximity to many restaurants and sites. The pool facility is nice but there were too many young people in the pool so we opted to use the stream shower and sauna instead. Both are coed so my wife and i appreciated that we could be together. Overall a very nice stay.

Definitely not a four star hotel. Problems are mostly trivial stuff but super annoying and inconvenient.
Slow check in, long wait line, felt disorganized
Confusing layout, have to take multiple elevators to get to different parts of hotel
Silly waiver to sign agreeing to pay very high fees for missing/damaged items
Not enough elevators, expect 5 min wait for one and crowds outside the elevators
And if you use stairs, you're locked in the stairwell and have to return to lobby
Room had too few towels
Also not enough power outlets, how hard can it be to install a power bar?
Oh and no room service, you can ask for towels and sheets but you have to change them.
Like I said, mostly trivial but you can't give this place four stars

I stayed in the Hyatt Regency in Montreal for three nights on business. It is a beautiful hotel with comfortable rooms and friendly staff, and a beautiful bar and restaurant area. Breakfast was a little expensive for the quality, but it was a buffet so you can get your money's worth. There are not many TV channels but that's no big deal.

The experience was overall very good. The hotel was in a very convenient location, easily accessible to many different visitation attractions such as the contemporary art museum, mount royal, the science center, and the underground city. The hotel was situated right above a shopping mall and had many restaurants encircling it. The room was a little small, and the two elevators were a bit inconvenient, but overall the service and location made the stay pleasurable.

Service is amazing. We complained about the loud noise from the just for laughs festival outside and were promptly relocated to a quieter room. The boom-boom from the subwoofers was just too much at 2am. Rooms are clean and the location is very convenient. Curtains black out, so that's good. I wish they had brighter lights. Had to turn on every single lightbulb in the room to see better. Not a mind blowing experience, but it's a decent stay.

We celebrated our prom on the terrace. The food was good, but not mind blowing. The service was great, everything went as it was supposed to go, the view was very nice. Of course, what makes a prom great isn't so much the location as the people celebrating it, but it definitely respects the expectations we had. I'd recommend this location for any future prom organizers.

Excellent experience here. Staff was amazing and the location was terrific. We went while the square behind the hotel hosted a fashion week. Close to Old Montreal. The common area of the hotel was clearly recently renovated. The rooms were a little dated, but generally clean and nice. Price was reasonable (we went in August). Be careful when booking through Expedia. If you get the "business stay" rate, only breakfast for 1 is included even if you indicate 4 people are staying. Note there is a supermarket downstairs in the adjoining mall for inexpensive food.

I forgot my wallet in the hotel room. I called a couple times and no one could answer the phone other than the front desk to help me. I really hope this service improves.

A pleasant downtown Montreal hotel, close to great shopping and eateries. Room was clean, bed was very comfortable. Front desk staff was attentive and helpful. Regency Club breakfast was above average. Bar prices were steep, but what hotel in the world doesn't elevate drink prices? Internet signal was strong in the room. Overall, a nice experience. Thanks Hyatt Montreal......

Superb hotel, wonderful staff. Loved the lounge, the restaurant, the terraces, every common area beautifully designed and kept meticulously clean and pleasant.

The location cannot be better - you are within walking distance of museums, - just across the street, the Musée d'Art Contemporaine - music and theater venues, shops, restaurants and cafes. Two quick elevator rides allow you to reach the Complexe Desjardins, full of useful stores, a food court, bank and exchange services, a pharmacy, a bookstore and a grocery store.

A wonderful hotel and absolutely fantastic staff! I left something in my hotel room and was not even hoping to retrieve it when I called them to see if it was reported in Lost and Found. It was not, nonetheless, one of the managers (Virginie) went to a great length to look for it and she was able to find it and then mail it back to me! I was so overwhelmed and so grateful! Dear Hyatt Regency Montreal, please give my biggest thanks to Virginie!! Merci beaucoup!
