We had a wonderful week at Maddens. Having never stayed there before we had no idea what a great resort it is. The accommodations were very comfortable and clean and the staff was very welcoming and friendly. We will definitely be back!

I just stayed at Maddens for a week with my family over July 4th. My kids are ages 16 and 17 so going somewhere they enjoy can be a bit of a challenge. We rented a pontoon boat for the week and also got there activities package which included golf on the social 9 and non motorized water craft. We had a great time!!! The one thing that stuck out to me the most was the service. We have stayed at some very nice hotels/spas where top notch service is a must and Maddens far exceeded our expectations on service. No doubt there staff is professionally trained to make sure our stay was amazing and it was. I expected the resort to be a bit run down but it was actually very nice. We stayed on the Wilson Bay side and it was beautiful and super quiet which we loved. I can’t say enough good things about our stay. Can’t wait to return!!!

Place was first class all the way. We had a small group of 12 golfers and we were taken care of throughout the quoting, booking, planning, check-in and golf process. They made things REALLY easy for our group and everything went as planned. And they didn't flinch when we played an extra 9 holes one evening cause it was so nice out. Food, service, golf, rooms and amenities were all really good. I'd highly recommend and for sure would go back.

Another amazing visit to Madden's! We have been to Madden's 4 times over the past 8 years and each time we leave wishing we stayed for another day. The staff is super helpful and aims to please their guests. We have visited other resorts across the US and parts of the world and the service and accommodations are best in class.
We felt very safe with the steps the resort had put in place to make sure guests were safe in this COVID time. Extra cleaning happening and staff was able to provide a great experience but keeping their distance.
We stayed in the Wilson Bay 2bdrm units and loved it. They looked to be recently updated, Our kids thought their room was the best as they had a TV and fireplace. The master sweet had a super comfortable bed with lake views!
We ate at the Mission Point two nights and each night the food was great. Great variety and flavors.
The team at Adventure Cove did an awesome job. Our kids were planning on staying for a half day and begged us to stay the full day.
Hats off to the entire team at Madden's for making our visit amazing.

This was my second trip to Madden's for a weekend of golf and fun. I could not say enough about the positive experience I had there. Everyone involved there treats you like a King. The food was excellent and brought up to our lodge on Strawberry Hill in a timely fashion. Madden's provides an incredible experience and all 21 of us in our group were more than satisfied. The golf course is always in excellent condition and the staff there are all very friendly and helpful. Kudos to all involved.

We rented the lake house for 4 days this summer. It was great! We had 17 total people (9 adults and 8 kids) and the accommodations worked great. We enjoyed the lake and played some golf, it was a great week.

I always have fun here. The Walleye Dan fishing excursions are super fun. We had Jeff and he was just great. The rooms are very nice and cozy.

Very fancy place! We were here for breakfast buffet meal at the restaurant. It was truly *THE BEST* restaurant breakfast I've ever had. Delicious and wide variety to accommodate every possible dietary need. It was *expensive*. Three of us for breakfast was nearly $70. Not something our family would do routinely, but it was a fun and delicious treat.

Excelent for weekends. Will be back. Little shops add a lot to the feel. Resturants were good, if a bit pricey. Suggest they offer more mid priced motorized boat options. 35/hr for fishing boat vs 100+ for pontoon is a hard gap to cross while feeling you are getting good value.

Best getaway my wife and I have found so far. The room was clean, spacious and the lake view was fantastic. I really like this place and we will be back.

Great place to stay. Personal patios and spacious rooms. The resort is like a small town complete with its own coffee shop and ice cream parlor, all within walking distance. Well maintained good courses too.

Great resort. The staff are all friendly and helpful. I was there for a large gathering of over 100 people and it went off flawlessly.

Great location. Staff is very friendly. The duplex cabin rooms are lovely with a great view of lake. And the porch is great for morning yoga.

Went for an investment seminar. The lakeside conference room was absolutely gorgeous. The view over Gull Lake was great too, seeing the I've as it receded on a warm spring day. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and the food was very good. First class operation at Madden's Resort!

I was blown away with the white glove service; I’m not just saying that, this place had the best service I have ever had. Everyone who we encountered greeted us with a warm smile and was extremely friendly and fun to be around. The fancy restaurant there, I can’t recall the name but it was amazing. The fishing is good too. Never had a chance to golf there but the courses from what I saw look top notch. Looking forward to returning one day.

I attended a conference at Madden's, as an exhibitor. The facilities were good and the local was gorgeous. The staff was helpful and the food was excellent. I didn't have the opportunity to stay as a guest or to play the golf course, but the hotel and the course look beautiful.

Amazing staff amazing location and decent rooms

We had been to the NJPA Rising Stars Banquet, honoring the youth of our area. The service was great, and the food was exquisite!

We were in the area visiting another resort and stopped in while skiing. The resort looked wonderful and clean and the staff was friendly. The outdoor grounds includung the ski trails looked fantastic albeit not well groomed. Maybe on another trip up North we'll stay at Maddens.

They sure know how to decorate for Christmas. Absolutely beautiful

Rooms were nice with a great view. The conference rooms provided a good environment to hold or meetings.

We hosted our wedding at Madden's and enjoyed every aspect of the experience! The team at Madden's was super responsive and took care of every last detail. All of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was and how fantastic the staff was. We will definitely be back!

Didn't stay or play here but ate at The Classic and it was great! Delicious food and excellent table service.

Great place for a family vacation! They have various activities, restaurants, and rentals available on site. All you have to do is show up and relax.

Our family, now four generations, has been vacationing at Madden's for over 60 years. Located on Gull Lake, there is definitely something for everybody from golf to kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, swimming, croquet, tennis, horseshoes, biking and walking trails, plus quiet places to enjoy a good read. There are several restaurants and an ice-cream shop on the property so vacationers can park their vehicles when they arrive and not drive again until they are ready to go home. Am looking forward to vacationing at Madden's again next year.

We had 5 families with kids in Maddens house and it was a an excellent place for our group. Each of the 5 bedrooms was large with a private full bathroom and walk in closets. They each had a unique layout, but all were larger than a typical hotel room. The house had large common areas, a 6th bathroom, an updated kitchen as well as a huge game room. Large 2 level deck up high with a nice patio and fire pit below next to the beach and water. Nice furnishings inside and out. Easy walk to pools, hot tub, etc. Great view. I dont know what else we could have asked for, and the value was good when split 5 ways.

Awesome accommodations, reasonable prices. Fun games on land and equipment to use on the lake. Highly recommend the recreational passes if you plan on using non-motorized craft within the marina.

Maddens represents a high end Minnesota style resort. You can play golf and fish as well as get a message all in the same day. The price is a bit steep but they have nice facilities that will meet almost any desire. I enjoyed it and you will too.

Gull lakes finest dining. Great food and a must if vacationing in the area.

A beautiful resort with employees who are committed to the name and value behind Madden's. We had our corporate retreat here and had a wonderful time.

Kelly and Renae helped get me started and they were absolutely helpful and patient. The meeting rooms were spacious and fully equipped. The most impressivr moment for me was when I was trying to grab ice cream for the team as an afternoon refreshment. Kelly golf carted to where I was and escorted me to Chrissy's and back. It was a huge act of service and I was touched by it.

This is my fourth time visiting so I suppose that is an endorsement in itself. Location is great and there is plenty to do both on the resort and off. The restaurants are a bit expensive for what is offered, but the drinks are reasonable. For on resort food I recommend ice cream or Parfecto.

The rooms and lodge always look great, in great condition. The lake is great, and there's nice pools (and a sauna) as well. The food is great, servers always pleasant and friendly. My family loves the resort so much that we've made it tradition to come every year, and it's been decades for us. Highly recommended.

Fabulous packages to have tons of outdoor fun. Highly suggest zip lining! Groups or events are great for team building and interaction. Can't wait to go back!

Our family has been taking trips to Maddens for years. We never tire of the amazing food and service we receive. We typically stay in the bayview cottages and love the easy access to the beach and the lodge.

We've been going to Madden's almost every 4th of July week for the last decade or so. It's a first-rate resort. Our three kids love Adventure Cove; it's like a great summer camp. Great food, great golf, and something for everyone keeps us coming back year after year.

We had a great experience at this resort celebrating my honey's (Clement) birthday. We have nothing but GREAT things to say about Madden's.

It's a beautiful, incredibly well kept resort with tremendous staff!. We enjoyed the closing party package which we highly recommend. The food was amazing and yummy dessert!

As both a former employee and customer, I truly did live and experience their customer mission to create it, love it, and come again. This is a first-class destination that I would recommend to a friend as both a wonderful vacation-spot as well as a good place to work. The environment is very welcoming in all aspects, and when the employees are happy with what they do, so are the customers. I actually worked in the Madden's Lodge, a quaint restaurant with remarkable views of Gull Lake from the edge of the water at the peninsula. The lake can be seen from all sides of the room, and there is private dining available. Chefs create delectable entrees from four very well-thought-out menus discussed at the beginning of the season that change in order for hungry patrons to be able to stay a long time at the resort without compromising variety. An up-north twist on the food items keeps me coming back for dinner.
