Unfinished bathroom. Leaky faucets. Paper-thin walls. Horrid neighbors. Squeaky bed. Possible 2-way mirror...

The management and staff were very nice and helpful to me when I stayed there last week. have some serious medical issues. People who have given this hotel a bad rating are too picky or they are just wrong. If I have to stay local this has been and will continue to be where I go. For the past ten years!

It wasn't that bad. We needed a room because my father-in-law passed away while he was on vacation. The room served it's purpose and it seemed to be more fairly priced then some others in the area. As for cockroaches I didn't see any but I'm sure they are around, it is Florida after all. And drug addicts are everywhere btw... The porch outside the room was a nice place to sit and think during the early morning hours as I was able to let my wife and her mother sleep as I watched night turn to day. Although I did lock myself out of our hotel room, so I spent a little longer than expected on the deck. I'm glad I did because it gave me the time to write this review.... However, the breakfast is a laughing matter. @owner you should save your money and not even offer it lol.

Very friendly staff they also have clean neat and tidy rooms. The staff are always on watch to make sure your stay is guaranteed a safe one. Maintenance crew is always available should you need them. Excellent restaurant, bar and pool area...Overall a wonderful place to stay!!!!

Great view of the water. The free breakfast leaves some to be desired on account of the little they have available. The staff is prompt and courteous. The room themselves are clean with a little fridge and microwave. The bathroom looked a little beat up. The tile floor makes it great for any cleanup should pets have an accident. Which in the case of being pwt friendly is a plus.

I have stayed here many times with my girlfriend. We love the pool and the river views. The rooms always appear new and the beds are comfortable. Jen Mock at the front desk is wonderful. Her personal touch and friendliness cap off a 5 star rating.

I checked out of a nearby hotel (Riverside Inn) because the rooms were barely passable as storage bins. Then they moved me to their pet friendly rooms when my family came in with our two small dogs. Even worse!
Magnuson, however, has an amazing staff and the room we have been put in for our pets is beautiful and right on the water for an excellent price. Kudo's to Magnuson.

I stayed at this hotel and if I had read the reviews I may have passed by this gem .The Marina is beautiful and the hotel is nice and quiet. The entire staff was warm and friendly.
A great value for a family. The pool is well taken care of and the tiki bar is a bonus.Keep up the good work I will be back for sure!

Hotel price was the least expensive in the area for the weekend we visited but the quality and conditions speaks to the reason for the lower prices. The beds and bath appear clean but the carpets are filthy and as i sat in the chair i found a sock or rag or something questionable under the air conditioner. There was a loud party going on in the restaurant area and the music sas so loud we had trouble falling asleep after 11 pm. While the rooms are non smoking, the property allows so guests were smoking outside with their doors open and smoke was entering rooms and could be smelled from the inside hallway.

I'm a travelling artist and musician and stay many places. I wasn't sure what to expect after reading a few of the negative reviews, but I love it here! The restaurant attached is great. The water views of the pier and pool from the outside deck is beautiful! The rooms have a fridge, microwave, and are pretty large and comfortable. Looking forward to staying here whenever I'm in town!

Really Quiet. Sunrise is nice over the Marina. Bands Bar Restaurant and Food Downstairs and up front. They closed up the breakfast an hour early one day got coffee brewing fresh 24/7 in the lobby and good Columbian in the room :)

I was impressed and would recommend a stay at this hotel. Have stayed at all of the hotels along 19 in this area and this is the best hotel I have found. There was live entertainment in the bar. Where you have a full menu and a pool table and darts. They have a grill and picnic tables if you want to grill out. The room was beautiful, we got the upgrade of the king sized bed with the large overstuffed pillows. Our room had a Jacuzzi bath tub, fridge, microwave, and everything else you would find in a hotel. It was a great experience and will be returning soon.

Nice little room for the money. The bar attached to it seems super reasonable and fun. Live music would in the bar next to the pool seems ideal for an cheap fun get away

Very nice rooms with great views. The woman working the front desk on the day we checked out was rude, but the rest of the staff was very helpful and friendly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area.

Very clean, spacious, renovated rooms with all-new appliances. The whole hotel is super clean! Even the cement outside looks like it was power washed. No trash, cigarette butts, etc. AND!

I waited about 20 minutes for someone to come to the front desk for check in. There were 3 other people waiting also. When I said I had been waiting for 20 minutes this short, stocky and rude woman came out and said you haven't been waiting 20 minutes I've been watching you on the camera. If she saw me on the camera why didn't she come out sooner? She should not be working in the service industry. Room was fine. A/C was cold. Maintenance man saw us on the sidewalk and asked if everything was ok. He introduced himself and was very nice.

Just checked out after spending 2 nights/3 days during Hurricane Irma. I live locally, in a trailer, under a load of Live Oaks that may have smashed my home so was under mandatory evacuation. I had waited too long to get a room somewhere safe and although it seems insane to stay at a hotel on the Gulf of Mexico, right on top of a boat-filled marina, it still was a good decision. All this is to say that although the power went down Sunday night until Monday night, the staff did everything possible to protect us. There were no amenities during the hurricane, obviously, but staff was polite and helpful. I was able to bring in my 3 dogs without paying anything extra and was never questioned about how many, what size or charged for them. So I had four strong walls, my family in a private room, and a sense of security. Considering there were no housekeeping personnel, the room was very clean (no bugs!) and we were supplied with everything needed (towels, extra bedding, toilet paper and trash bags). The toilets flushed and there was cold water (a bonus since I have a well and would not have had any water during a power failure. It is a lovely place, with a nice restaurant (that wasn’t open) and if possible, I may check in for a mini vacation, one day, when hurricane season has ended.

The room looks nice so does the pool area. Dining hall was huge and great for a large group. Over all the outside looks ok but pretty good place to stay.

Enjoyed the bar, food, and setting on our visit. The staff was both curtious and helpful and made you feel welcome. A return visit is in the near future.

The staff was great. The room I was in was clean although the carpet should be replaced. The outside could use a good pressure washing. The pool was very relaxing. Very convenient to shopping and restaurants. Will stay again.

Hotel and staff were good. People who were in the other rooms were acting like trailer trash. Noisy, drunk, fighting.... pretty hard to sleep through.

I had an awesome vacation we were there for only 3 days and adds an extra for days the staff that your location was very nice and helpful next year when I go back down I will still stay at your Resort again

The rooms are really nice and if you get a room on the backside of the hotel you get a beautiful view of all the boats and canal. The bar/resturaunt is great and all of the employees I encountered while staying were lovely.

Second hotel in the area that I've been to ok location has an ok view and comfortable accommodations but it's connected to a bat and the patrons are loud till late in the evening

Rooms are so clean!!! Great customer service team! Anna helped so much sent me maps on how to get there from the airport and even had my room available when I checked in early! So great I love it.

Overall I was happy with my stay. The location worked well for me. My dog was accepted well. My room was cleaned every day. The room was dated but fulfilled my needs of providing a clean place to bath and sleep. I passed on the breakfast and went to McDonald's instead.

Great people, great location. There is a lot of fun things happening here, always something to do, and a comfortable room to rest in.

Very cozy and comfortable. the night we came it was cold and raining ,also our ANNIVERSARY So we cozied up and had a beautiful nite in for our anniversary

The young lady was so kind and professional and the room was clean. Was harbour side at the marina, very relaxing. Pet friendly room, very fresh smelling, comfortable beds. The breakfast was carb overload though, needed more fruit than the pale colored watermelon. Sorry I couldn't give it a 5 star

Great views n peaceful. They have their own attached Restaurant and Tiki Bar they have rides for rentals with boats Sea-Doos kayaks the breakfast is not good at all I really need to take some time in the breakfast area though for the continental breakfast

The staff here is amazing and the view of the bay is unlike any other you will get in this area especially for the price. Best rates in town, and when you stay here you get discounts at Windsong boat rentals which is right on the marina the hotel over looks. Great vacation and package deals. I cant wait to visit again.

My first experience staying at a Magnuson franchise was quite pleasant. The hotel staff acted in a professional manner and were very attentive in answering my inquires. The pool overlooks the Marina and one of the main amenities that Magnuson offers is the advantage of renting a boat to explore New Port Richey. If it is your first time in the area, staying at the Magnuson is cost effective with competitive rates and the proximity to many attractions such as Busch Gardens and local beaches.

Ok, so we booked this hotel without reading the reviews first. After booking I read the reviews and they were horrible. We were traveling with 3 daughter and my husband and I. We were very nervous to stay at this hotel. When we arrived we all went in and spoke with the lady's at the front desk. They assured us our stay would be fine. We were giving a room in the "new" building over looking the pool.. Our room was far from new but It was the newest part of there building. We ended up having a wonderful stay and will stay there again if we're going threw there! So don't alway believe what the reviews say!!

It is OK for the money. Clean but the rooms are small. Their breakfast was terrible. The worst continental breakfast I've ever had. The pool is OK not much of a shallow end for kids and there are no steps only a latter in and out. They also have a baby pool. It is on a marina but you are not allowed to walk on the dock unless you own a boat. Many of the employees were a bit "rough" .

Upon checking in, the Hotel Rep. found a issue in the system that was not processing, but was not Magnuson Hotel fault it was an online services I used fault . The Hotel Representative Angie was very professional and kind and was able to straighten the issue out with that company and got a resolution. Im very happy and the room was very clean. I woll recommend this Hotel. :-)

I dealt with Eric at the front desk and he was very personable! He made my quick visit more enjoyable. Loved the pool area the scenery on the water. Would definitely stay again!
