Nice hotel, close to Hershey Park. We have been going there for many years because it has a kitchenette. 4 stars only because pool not the cleanest but we never use it anyway. People all friendly and nice. Breakfast basic but decent.

It's very clean on the inside of the hotel. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. The pool is amazing even though a little small. I give it 4 stars due to the bathrooms in the public areas not being the cleanest. Out side of that no complaints about the service the venue or anything else.

This is a nice place, stuff very friendly. Rooms clean. I've stayed here a few times when visiting Hershey the only reason I didn't give a 5 star is this ,stayed on 2nd floor and you hear everything ! Kids running, basketball bouncing , doors slamming .
When we stayed before we had a 3rd floor room and had nothing like this. Don't get me wrong this wasn't happening in middle of the night , I'd say it started about 8 am . So if you a early riser this place is a 5 star.
Oh the only other thing is the elevator is very scary!! Bangs when your going up!

The location is within minutes from Hershey Park and is very easy to get to. They just put a Sheets in right across the street which is another plus for late night food after leaving the park! The pool has a really cool slide that the kids loved, and also there's an arcade with mini golf and a half basketball court too! This is always our hotel of choice when going to the amusement park. The staff are always helpful and very polite!

Room was great, pool with slide was wonderful for kids! They especially loved the game room with basketball. The elevator was a bit jerky on the way up. Most employees were very helpful.

Good hotel,bout 5 miles from Hershey park. The amenties are really good they have an indoor pool with a slide,a game room,pool table,miniature golf,basketball court,weight room. The room we had has a refrigerator/freezer, 2 queen beds,pull out couch,desk with 2 chairs,coffee machine,microwave,toaster & dishes.

MainStay Suites at Grantville is conveniently located two highways and the neighboring Hollywood Casino. It is also close to Hershey Park and Hershey, PA. The hotel itself was in decent shape and the attendants were very helpful the rooms were nicely appointed with a full kitchen, a sofa in the sitting area, a king bed, an ironing board, and a spacious bathroom. Everything was clean. The price was a little high for the offering but overall not a bad stay. We would stay again if in the area

I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area. It's very family friendly & offers a lot of amenities. It was very clean & the hotel staff were very friendly. I would definitely stay there again!

I had to quickly stay here for business. Rooms are clean and simple. Just what I needed. The price is reasonable and will come back to stay when I come with family to Hershey park.

Lovely hotel. Plenty of parking. Staff attentive, professional, and polite. Quick to address concerns. Great free breakfast. Bathtub in shower very slippery and needs additional handicap bar.

Great hotel if you have kids! My boys (8,6,5) absolutely loved it! The room was fine....clean and comfortable. The breakfast was okay....not the best or worst that I've had. The indoor mini golf and basketball area were a huge hit with the kids. They also loved the pool with two story water slide. I would definitely stay here again....especially since it was under $100.

I choose mainstay suites for the amenities provided, they have hot breakfast and full kitchen in all rooms. This location is close to Hershey park and many other attractions. Rooms are clean and spacious except kitchen feels little packed with everything in small space.

Great place to stay when visiting Hershey Park and Chocolate World. Close but just outside of Hershey. Pool with a large slide, indoor basketball and putt putt. The kids are super happy here. Have stayed 2x and never a large crowd. Pool all to ourselves most of the time. Not the fanciest place to stay out there bit for our need and a large family it worked very well. The price was untouchable for our dates.

Very family friendly. We have two small children and it was perfect for us! The pool, mini golf and basketball were awesome. Free breakfast was great with lots of options. Room was cozy, kitchenette was exactly what we needed. Clean. About 15 minutes away from everything. Would definitely stay again. Only thing I would say that needs improved is the elevator.. worked fine but a little worrisome with the noises and bouncing.

Stayed here 4+ years ago and enjoyed our stay. This stay was a different story. The elevator felt like it was going to drop us to our death.
The pool closed at 10pm and before the kids got out of the pool the lights shut off without warning while my kids were still in the pool. While we were getting the kids out of the pool and dried off (in the dark) the front desk attendant came in and turned the lights on and proceeded to to straighten chairs as if we weren’t even there... never apologized for the inconvenience or even spoke to us.
The room was clean but the bathroom door didn’t latch and the tub need re-caulked. The closet door didn’t work. The filter on the furnace ( in the closet ) was black and long overdue to be changed. Overall the hotel was okay but in serious need of a renovation.
Sorry... 2 stars is all you get for now!!

I had the most amazing stay with my fiancehiss and my lil miss hiss. Was plenty of room for activities and whatnot within the rooms. Loved the comfort of a small apart hiss. Was even able to cook for my baby and enjoy seeing her sexy butt in her new bi catni she got in the pool😍😍 and loved being able to work out with her sexy self even tho i wouldn't let her because she laughs at me too much. But we loved the atmosphere and the help was amazing when needed.

Amazing place! Room had small kitchenette, 2 beds, and a pullout couch. Walk in closet and bathroom was amazing. The indoor pool was a big hit with the kids. Quiet for the most part. Would've given it a 5 had the staff done their jobs instead of standing in a circle at the front door complaining about customers. And we made reservations and the staff member to assist us couldn't find it wouldn't bother looking either and gave is a hard time. Amazing place awful staff.

It was Clean and comfortable. My favorite part of the hotel was the pool, it had a mini slide. Very fun.

This may not be a 5* hotel, but it is definitely worth every single penny! Pool is clean, bball court is clean, breakfast is great! Definitely worth looking into if you are interested in the area. Plus, Fabio's next door has awesome pizza!

An excellent hotel and a great place to stay. The price was very reasonable for all we got. The breakfast was very good, and there was a darling Italian Restaurant across the street. We walked over after we checked in our room, and had an excellent dinner. It was reasonably priced and wonderful food. The only complaint I had was the dishes in the kitchen of our room were not very clean. Otherwise, we could have not had a better experience. It was a couple of minutes off the interstate, but well worth the minute or so drive.

I'm glad I chose this hotel..... very clean and slept very comfortable! No complaints here... what a lovely pool and warm towels for when you get out! When I was leaving out to travel back home the guy at the front desk was nice enough to give me a towel to wipe off the back of my car..... one night stay but it was a lovely hotel.... big refrigerator inside the room too. Also very close to hershey park!

Stayed at MainStay suites for 3 days 2 nights and my family LOVED IT!!! There was so much to do for children of ALL ages. My 10yo had my husband laid out in bed after playing basket 🏀 running his father around on the court 😂! Our plans was Hershey park and we went and had a great time. Just didn't expect to have so much fun in the hotel. Bottom line. Wonderful hotel to stay in. Great staff. Great hot food , and I'm not a breakfast person. Clean room and comfortable bed. I booked two suites in March for a July visit. On the reservation, I added to have adjoining rooms. I called one week before our vacation to confirm the adjoining rooms and was told no problem. When we arrived the gentleman behind the desk said that adjoining rooms are not available. He gave every excuse he could think of with a "I don't care" attitude. He kept saying its not his fault and nothing he was going to do about it. There were other issues with the room not being ready and again he just shrugged his shoulders. I have never experienced such poor customer service. When I asked for the manager I was told there is none til the next morning. Finally got to the room and went out for the evening. When we returned we found two lamps had burnt out light bulbs. I went down to the desk for bulbs and Gloria was behind the desk this time. She was more than helpful and was disappointed when I told her about my check in experience. She assured me that she would talk to her boss about the experience and would give me a discount on one of the rooms. Gloria did change our minds about staying here again and we enjoyed the two days we spent in Hershey PA. We have been staying at this hotel for the last 6 yrs. If it wasn't for Gloria, it would have been the last. Thanks to Gloria for being so helpful and providing excellent customer service!!!

1 night stay mid June, 2 rooms, 12 in our party. Family friendly place - pool, game room. The 2 large rooms were clean, a bit dated but not bad, the beds were comfortable, the pull out couches were ok. A nice but limited free breakfast was available. A 'very good' Italian restaurant was a short walk across the parking lot. I had requested a late check out (of 2p) for 1 of the rooms when I booked the rooms weeks in advance, but was flat out refused just because 'its June and we get busy'.

Our group of 17 people stayed here when we traveled to go to Hershey Park. The employees were friendly and helpful, and the rooms are clean. The amenities are great, the kids loved the pool with the slide! It is close to Hershey, only about 10 mins. We liked it so much the 1st time, that we have gone back 3 years in a row for our Hershey trip!

I loved this little resort near Hershey Park! All the amenities you need in one place for a very fair price. The fact each room has a kitchen with a full size fridge is great and so convenient for those traveling with kids. Definitely will be recommending to all my friends and family members!

There were only two small things I'd improve. The coffee was too strong and they didn't have bowls and plates in the kitchen in our room. Otherwise the staff was very accommodating, the breakfast was well monitored and stocked on a holiday weekend and there were lots of fun things for kids.

Rooms and halls are nice and clean. Staff was mostly friendly. Gym area and breakfast could be improved. All in all nice place for price paid.

Booked this hotel with some apprehension due to good price at a seemingly busy time. Did that because of the reviews and it didn't disappoint. Courteous and helpful staff, good location close to Hershey and not far from HBG. Memorial Lake State Park is just a few minutes drive as well. Some rooms overlook a busy road but it doesn't seem bad because of some greenery. Couple other budget hotels closeby too. Hot breakfast daily, a pool and a small room of a gym. 3 floors. Clean rooms. Suite setup is roomier though they call every room a suite apparently. Things that could use a bit of improvement would be slightly more variety in breakfast (comparing apples to apples), credit card POS and room doors that don't slam shut with a loud noise. That said, solid value and not many frills.

Beautiful clean rooms, the staff is absolutely wonderful. The only reasons behind 3 stars is we picked this hotel based on indoor pool, the pools heater is broken and no one seems to care about it. Even though it's been reported nothing is being done. We would have picked another hotel knowing this, as this was the main reason for choosing, since 2e have 2 kids and during my spouse's conferences I'd be at the hotel a lot with 2 kids. Other then that, the hotel would be an absolute 5 rating.

The room size was sufficient for our family of 6. It had two queen beds and a pull out sofa bed. It had a fridge, microwave and sink. (Small kitchen). The kids loved the pool with the slide and the game room with the putt putt golf. I think things could use an update but it was worth the money. The breakfast was nice but we have had better at other Hotels.

The good: It is clean, reasonably priced, has a refrigerator and microwave. Staff was friendly. Kids loved the pool with a slide. There was no lifeguard to yell at them for breaking rules.
The bad: The decor is outdated. It is off the beaten path. There is nothing around. You have to get on the highway and drive to another exit just for some fast food. This hotel is just the basics. You get what you pay for. The breakfast was pretty weak. They have a pancake maker that is really slow with a long line. They also offer scrambled eggs and sausage that wasn't too bad. The workout room is very small. One machine and a treadmill.

I've stayed here twice now. Our first experience was excellent while our second was not so much. They have a nice pool with a water slide, exercise room, VERY small arcade, indoor mini golf and a quarter court for basket ball. They seem to have a limited staff. It was hard at times to find anyone who worked there.

Kitchens are nice. Rooms were clean. Nice size bathroom. Kitchen had basic stuff, plates, cups, silverware, measuring cups.

This hotel was a wee bit off the beaten path which made it great. It wasn't over crowded. The rooms were clean and well kept. The hotel was nice. The breakfast was plentiful. My daughter have food allergies so I asked the woman a question and she pulled out every container to each piece of food so I could check. I was so grateful for that. The pool is nice. They have a cool game room and a gym. I would go back and stay here in a heart beat.

Best hotel I have ever stayed at. The basketball coirt, mini golf, and water slide were so much fun. The front desk workers were so friendly and helpful. The rooms were so nice and clean, definitely worth the money and time.

Would not stay here again because my computer would not connect to their WiFi. NEVER had this problem before. Our phones connected with no problem, so the issue was not with my computer. Majority of the staff is young (20s) and CLUELESS. Poor customer service in general. Housekeeping is so-so, they do "partial" work. Some of our supplies were not restocked. The coffeemaker was the noisiest thing we ever heard - kinda like popcorn in a microwave for 10 minutes. Their exercise room is a joke! One weight machine, one elliptical, one bike and one treadmill. If they're busy you won't get on the machine you want. And it's hot in there because it's the same area as the pool! Icing on the cake for me was NO flavored creamers or hot chocolate for my coffee. What hotel doesn't have hot chocolate? Ridiculous. The only thing I liked about the place was the friendly neighbor policy. If you're noisy after 11:00, you get 2 warnings and then they evict you. This is a rather small hotel and the doors are noisy - always slamming.

We stayed here overnight two years in a row for our daughter's cheer competition. The staff was amazingly helpful, and polite. The room's are big enough, and clean.The only problem we had this year was that most of our competition team who were swimming in the pool ended up getting a viral infection. It doesn't necessarily mean the pool was to blame. It could have also been the fact that the bathroom in the pool area has no drain in the floor, so all the water from people going in and out just collects on the floor. Other than that I would stay here again no problem. I just might reconsider using the pool in the future.
