I was pleasantly surprised with the condition of the motel. I hope to post some pics on TripAdvisor, but haven't yet. My only TWO problems; it was impossible to contact the motel in the 4 days prior to my arrival. Even Motel 6 couldn't get through to them. AND no mini-fridge. Other then that, the room was clean and staff was polite. The AC was NOISY, but hey, it's an AC compressor... not known for quiet.

The women working the front desk were personable, professional, and helpful. They make a great first impression. Something that bothered me quite a bit were the smoking areas so close to the entrances so I was always having to walk through cigarette smoke.

For a 2 star motel; we were very pleased! Very clean, no carpets in the room (my preference) with clean laminate wood floors. Friendly and helpful staff (we needed a shower chair for the accessible room and they were on the case immediately, by the time we came back from the restaurant it was in the room). The pool was warm, clean, and well-maintained. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because their towels were stained (that is probably good for the environment, not throwing away towels...but...kinda unsettling in the shower) and some of the rooms still wreak of smoke. Worth the $56!

We loved our stay. The staff is amazing , super clean rooms, and very comfy beds. My kids loved the pool. Would highly recommend

The hotel grounds and rooms are super clean. The staff is somewhat friendly depending on the person, but they are all very helpful. The pool was ok, too much chemicals for me.
The price is really good considering how comfortable and clean everything is.
They are perfectly located with SO many restaurants around and access to and from the hotel is very easy.
The rooms have thing walls but it was just loud music.
Vending machines at the lobby are pretty affordable.
The beds are clean and confortable.
Bathrooms are a little small.
The cleaning service is fast and effective and our A/C worked PERFECT on the hottest weekend in the area. We will be back.

We stayed 10 nights, didn't see any housekeeping for our room during the last 4/5 -had to get our own clean towels from the pool area. Otherwise, the room was perfect for what we needed, great deal! Nice facility. Convenient. Comfortable.

We had a very clean, nice room and were well satisfied. We didn't so much care about all the fancy ammenities that maybe were at other motels - just needed to get a very good room for a very affordable rate. The affordable rate helped us to be able to go to more attractions in the area than we would have otherwise not been able to go to! This is the place to stay in the Streetsboro, OH, area. Staff is very knowledgeable of the area and truly friendly. We will be back!

This is one of the nicer Motel 6's I've stayed at. But Pam, the night desk clerk, was less than accommodating and didn't seem to care whether I was satisfied with my stay. I had asked for a room well away from the very busy road. She came up with every excuse not to change the room that was preassigned. Very uncharacteristic of Motel 6. Several times in the past, at different Motel 6 locations, I had requested a different room than the one I was assigned to and the clerks were pleasantly accommodating. But Pam at the Streetsboro location was not. Very poor customer service.

Surprisingly well appointed for the price. The front desk was very neat and the employee working was extremely nice and efficient. The property as a whole was well kept and the room was nicely done up. Neat, tidy, and more than worth the price.

Very Nice stay. Clean comfortable rooms. Only complaint would be front desk not very accommodating. First floor allows pets, third floor allows smokers.

Best hotel I have ever stayed at! The staff was so kind and my stay couldn’t be better! I will definitely come back to this establishment and I would recommend it to all my family and friends! Thanks guys for the great hospitality.

The rooms were very nice and clean. We had a problem with the extra service charge for being under the age of 21. We said we were paying in cash for the room and they still charged our account for the cost of the room and would not resolve the problem. For that, I had to pay for the room and the overdraw fees from the bank because I did not have money in my account, it was in cash.

You need an ice machine on the second floor. We also had issues with the shower not working right. The beds and pillows though were awesome and that was the most important thing of our stay, being able to sleep. Room was nice and clean. I would definitely stay here again.

Very comfortable stay. The only reason I'm not giving a 5 stars rating is at check-in, they tried to charge me an extra $20 late check-in fee, saying I could only check in between 3-6PM. Needless to say, I refused to pay, and they didn't make me, so not sure what's up.

I stayed one night at this motel and it was quite average, if not below average by a small margin. The room itself wasn’t cleaned very well and smelled of smoke. The bath towels were dingy and tattered... you get what you pay for I guess!

Great place to stay, but they expect you to clean your room before you go. I have two persons that stayed with us, not a problem until check out, it snowed the night before so while loading our truck we tracked water in from the snow, but she said it was dog urine. I tried to tell her of the snow, and showed her where no dogs have been in the lobby and how wet it was, I guess she peed there. I would stay here again only because of the convince to family, but don't expect getting your pet refund like they promised.

In town for some construction work. Stayed here for a week. While I was here, it felt like home. The staff even invited me to help decorate the Christmas Tree! Its the first time in 17 years that I have decorated a tree since I lost my wife. Budget hotel with a HUGE HEART!

love motel 6 so much great job on everything really big rooms really big beds I want to live there thats how awesome it is I have a cat and the hotel lets me keep her but one problem. extra $ 25 but indoor pool, air conditioning, Spa, vending machines. could not ask for a better hotel then this one so amazon💖💖

This hotel is close to Kent State University. (Within 15 minutes) The staff is super friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and fresh. The only negative I had was no shampoo or conditioner in the room however, there is a target right accross the street that sells travel size items.

Great economy brand. No frills. Simple and clean. Stayed here a few days for days. A huge plus was the first laundry...Didn't even have to leave the hotel to get my underwear washed!!!

Everything was fine. A good basic and clean budget hotel. My only comment would be that the hallway on the third floor smelled somewhat like smoke. I'm assuming this is because some of the rooms on the third floor are "smoking" rooms.

Location is nice. They are currently remodeling some rooms, so there are some funky smells (paint/lacquer, etc). Great that they take pets. Weekend help is great. Weekday people do not want to be bothered.

This hotel fit the bill for us. For $68.00 a night it was a simple place to spend the night while visiting family in the area. There were no frills we had a bed, one night stand, tv and mini fridge. When we came the elevator didn't work but was fixed by the evening. We asked for a few extra pillows but never received them. But overall it was clean and properly maintained. I would stay again.

Rooms much nicer than expected. Was told the pool was a salt water pool. Everybody we ran into was very nice. We would stay at a Motel 6 if needed in the future.

The staff was extremely friendly and the location was great. There were a few turn offs though.
The heating and cooling system was outdated so we had to turn it on and off throughout the night to get any consistent temperature. We also had to unplug the mini fridge at night because of how loudly it ran so we couldn't keep food in it.
We were also a little annoyed because we didn't want any staff in our room while we were gone so we put the "Do Not Disturb" on the door but when we got back that evening we found that they had been in our room anyway.

This is my second time staying at this hotel. I stayed on the way to Chicago, and decided to stay on the way back home. The management is great, especially Mit the GM. the front desk staff is even better Tim, who checked us in took amazing care of. He upgraded us to a suite for a small cost, but it was well worth it!

Comfortable beds., clean and quiet room, and nice staff. I highly recommend this hotel for an overnight stay. Simple, clean and affordable. Thanks for allowing our dog to stay at no extra cost.

This hotel was fully redone. Brand new comfy beds. I upgraded to a
premium room with a Microwave and a Fridge, but it was such a small cost I didn’t even care! Simple and Clean!

I needed a place for one night and this worked out just fine. The bed was comfortable. It was decently clean and met my needs. The front desk staff was very friendly.

The room was very nice, it had a comfy bed and it was fresh and clean. Excellent stay for the price! Only complaint was the pool closed too early, 10:00 pm, so we didn't get to enjoy it.

Quiet atmosphere and very clean rooms. Only downfall was the remodeling in the stairway. Other than that great visit

The room was very nice and clean, all the amenities functioned and the desk attendants were all very nice
The establishment is under construction but did not hinder my stay . the 3 star rating is because there is one luggage cart for the entire facility. The manager had to search several floors before he was able to retrieve the cart to get my luggage from the parking lot to the room and when I checked out I opted to use the maintenance hand truck because the cart was nowhere to be found in a reaso,able time.

Over all was a good hotel. Would have been nice if pool was open. Our room was recently remodel. It was nice. Didn't like that the air conditioner wouldn't stay on.hard to sleep when your sweating.

Motel 6, next time don't leave the light on. The updated painted rooms were very nice, staff was very friendly but the bed sheets were stained yellow and looked like a kid drew all over them with black marker. Wasn't any better in the bathroom with stained towels and washcloths. I only recommend maybe bleaching the white linens to remove the stains. Overall, though, not a bad room for the $50 price.

Room was nice and clean and everything was good except the air conditioner. Noisy as heck, I could run the fan only and it was quite but as soon as I turned on "air" I couldn't even sleep.

Great for the price. Stayed there this week and left an item in my room and the staff was very helpful in a timely manner in locating it for me. This even after I raised a big stink about it and accused them of taking it when they couldnt initially find it after the room had been cleaned.

Stayed for one night. Nice room, comfy bed, nice pillows. Wish there was breakfast included though. Would've payed the extra $4 for the night at the hotel down the street for the breakfast option. Just a nice feature that saves time and hassle.

I was upset when I made reservations and was not informed of the pool and exercise room being closed for maintenence. Also, the elevators were down and being pregnant made it uncomfortable having to take the stairs. The mirrors were not cleaned well, there were trash buts on the floor and stains on the bed cover that made me question the cleanliness of the whole place.

Overall room was nice. Check in no problem. Now after that, there was a coffee maker in lobby however went to get coffee and none was made (looked like it hasn't been used for a while. They advertised INDOOR POOL, but it was closed for the season. Isn't the purpose of an indoor pool at a hotel to be able to use it on the off season when weather is bad? Also I am glad we had a room in the ground floor because the elevator was broke.
The room could have used a few more amenities like shampoo and conditioner. Good thing I had my own. All and all the place is so so if you are just passing through an area and need a place to sleep then motel 6 is ok.

This Motel 6 in Streetsboro is not the fanciest, it's dated and has some issues, but If you are like me and are just looking for a place to lay your head, then this is a great choice. The price was cheap, the bed was comfortable and the staff was friendly. I will stay with them again!

The best place to stay in Streetsboro Ohio. you know your home when you stay at this motel. Don't pass it up or you'll be missing the best deal around. Their service is excellent and their prices even better. They'll even leave the light on for you.

First time in Ohio and I loved the vibe and feel of this motel. My wife and I plan on another trip real soon. Beds and room was comfortable. There were a few things like lack of soap. But it's not a big deal. I highly recommend this motel if your in the Columbus area.

It is a good value for the money. room was clean. Beds are comfortable. The discount at at Bob Evans was a nice bonus. Plus you could walk just across the parking lot. Didn't realize it had a pool will bring my suit next time.

I was visiting Kent State University for orientation. All the hotels in Kent were more expensive so I decided to stay a few minutes out. There was also plenty of food around and much quieter. The rooms were a good size and amenities like on site laundry, pool and gym was great! When my parents came to visit me, the front desk told me to mention Kent State and they will take care of them! Great hotel for a budget traveler and parents who want to visit multiple times a year !!! Thank you Motel 6 for providing a great service during my stay.

An overall great experience. The hotel staff was nice and courteous. They even helped us with our luggage! No issues checking in and the rooms were clean. I pulled back all the sheets and blankets on the bed (I do it in every hotel) and we obviously had clean sheets. The A/C worked great and we had no issues. The indoor pool was amazing and allowed us to get a late night and early morning swim in, which is always a great amenity! The breakfast was not the Hilton's $23.00 buffet, but it had the basics (baked goods, coffee, etc) and got the job done. I recommend this place to anyone who wants a clean, friendly place to crash for a few nights. Great job!

The good- the room was well made
The bad - there were 2 small ants in the microwave when first opened
The ugly- got fined 150 for vaping in the room which sent a warning to the fire department which I guess I understand and then I was called another time by the office about people complaining and bout my room smelling like marijuana and so I went out into the hallway and every 3 doors down smelled like Marijuana, really the whole floor did now that I mention it but, the manager was polite even though he still insisted that 1 more warning and I would be kicked out.
It wasn't the best experience but it wasn't the worst, I have no noise complaints, other than the 2 ants there were no other bugs, most the people door to door were polite as well. However having been in renewal by anderson Business I'd like to say the windows to every room did have broken air locks causing fogging, condensation, etc. But it didn't (at least in my room) look like it was molding or turning into anything too bad.

Our visit was last Feb. 2015. We were experiencing some Cabin Fever and decided to go for an impromptu road trip. Awesome hotel. Affordable price. Great continental breakfast. Wonderful staff. Would definitely stay there again. We then took our kids to the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. Great experience!!

The staff behind the counter were extremely friendly as well as courteous. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good with quite a bit of variety. The room prices were excellent. When we checked out the lady behind the counter asked if everything was satisfactory. When is the last time a 70 dollar per night hotel asked you that? We would stay here again.

I stayed at this place every other weekend for a whole year while coming into town to see my daughter! It was awesome!! Diana and Olly run the place and they are a gem of a couple and great managers! Now i live in town so dont have to use Microtel but its an awesome place!!!!

Here I sit at Microtel Inn in statesboro ohio, its 1 am in the morning...I am wide awake and trying to get comfortable, the mattress's have collapsed and no longer have any spring to them. I lifted up the covering that was over the mattress and it must be a 70's mattress, we pretty much noticed it right off when we walked in the room, but we needed a place to lay our heads, another way of putting it is there a big a hill in the middle of the mattress and you need to decide on what side of the hill you wanna try to get comfortable.

I was at the pool that they have and I asked another lady how her mattress was...she pretty much described what I already knew...I truly hope that they upgrade them as this is a big downfall to the hotel and I truly would be embarassed if I was the owner...otherwise the rest of the hotel really is not that bad..if you can live without a microwave and fridge in your room...the shower ran nice and hot for me the whole time I was in there and there was plenty of linen, the room smelt clean, and the staff was outright friendly.

the only other plus to coming here, is if you need to eat or shop...everything is right here within a mile ...
