After a long days drive any place with a bed and air conditioner is going to be inviting. That’s all I was in the mood for when a booked a room here. I was honestly surprised at how nice and inviting both the exterior and interior of this place. The pool and gym were great perks. The room is on par with the best road side hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Dare I say nearly as good as some popular tourist destination resorts. Comfortable bed, clean bathroom and most of all fresh smelling. Will keep this place in mind for future visits.

Awesome hotel, great breakfast, terrific staff. Room was very nice, great outside pool and hot tub. We saw wild horses walk through the parking lot while we were here. Easy access to the highway, close to stores and gas if u need it.

Very nice place. Maybe the nicest around. Late that night they said they had one vacancy, we got there after midnight when they were closing that days books. Then told me there was NO vacancy because it was the next day!!! So we kept driving...

Very nice property. After being turned away up the road in the last town and about giving up on finding a room after an extremely long day of sight seeing, I came across this gem. Guest service agent was very friendly and welcoming-a first for this state. My room was very nice, spacious and clean. The coffee maker and selection was a bonus. The shower was heavenly and refreshing. The breakfast was quite fine. Every staff member I came in contact with greeted me with a welcoming smile. If I had to nit-pick. The furniture was a bit worn and a lack of outlets. And maybe a bit pricey but tis the season I reckon. Again though, beautiful property

We were fortunate to be one of the very first families to stay the night at this hotel. The Chief'd eldest son gave us a tour and spent time with us as though we were his immediate family. The respec I felt from a brother of our native American heritage was intense. One day I'll go back to visit and spend more time learning from my elders.

The front desk clerk was very friendly and explained about the time zone change. Room was very nice, large and clean. First floor has access to the pool but it was closed for cleaning when I was there. They also had a fitness center that looked great. Breakfast was good, they could have added a few things to make it extraordinary.

Very large, nice, clean room. However, the noise around us from other guests was very high. We were not able to sleep after about 2 am when the people above us started moving around.

By far the best hotel in Tuba City. Everything is modern and spotless. LCD television, Kuerig machine, plush and adequate number of towels. Friendly service that you will not find at the local Quality Inn. Adequate breakfast and beverages in the morning. It also has a small gift shop that offers wares from local artisans. Denny's is right next door if you desire a large menu or chain restaurant.

After searching for a hotel in Tuba City we discovered there are only about 3 in town and this is the nicest. Rooms are pretty standard. Breakfast wasn't great with a small selection compared to other hotels. Our traveller card was supposedly declined here so we paid with credit card. But then the fee was taken from our traveller card as well and not refunded. Had to chase it up through our bank. Fraud?

This is a great place. I have never seen a cleaner hotel in my life. Inpeccable! It’s location is not too far from the Grand Canyon and there are great views of the dessert from the upper floor. All this for a great price. We lucked out finding this place. We highly recommend it.

Very clean hotel with kind and attentive staff. The only reason for 4 stars is they were a little slow with cleaning the room but it really wasn't an issue. I'll likely stay here again.

Beautiful & clean hotel. Wonderful outdoor pool & hot tub. We very much enjoyed our stay. There was an issue with their hot water like at least one other guest said in their review. It was a chilly shower in the morning.

5

This an completely ALCOHOL FREE hotel, if you would like a beer or a glass of wine keep driving.
Dining options were Denny's, McDonalds or Sonic.
The hotel was apparently quite new and in good condition, rooms large, beds comfortable, staff friendly.
The hotel breakfast was among the worst i have seen.
Nice hotel building with a pool, terrible food and beverage options.

10

Spacious, comfortable, affordable hotel in the Grand Canyon area. Love this place as a spot to stay after being in the national park and exploring the other awesome monuments and rivers in the area. And best to give your business to the people who's land you are enjoying, and this hotel is Hopi run and has lots of Hopi staff willing to share with you about the culture.

Very nice hotel. We spent the night there only cause it was in our route but I must say I got a very nice impression. The rooms were very comfortable and I liked the native american style. Plus the breakfast was included.

Very nice place to stay. Rooms are clean. Bed is comfortable. Outdoor decorations we're pretty cool. The Jacuzzi and pool were refreshing. Having a Denny's next door was convenient.

7

Very nice and modern hotel, almost like a mini resort with conference rooms, etc... rooms are quiet and beds are very comfortable.

Only reason I knocked off a star is because their breakfast is very basic with limited choices. They really need to work on it.

Completely unexpected. The hotel pays a lot of attention to culture of Hopi people, which makes it really unique. Great experience and great service as well.

The staff was nice. The rooms need updating, but the bed was comfortable. Their breakfast was definitely the worst part. There wasn't much selection. The sausage was cold and limp. The "breakfast potatoes" were literally just cut up potatoes. No seasoning, no vegetables, nothing. The scrambled eggs were good, but they weren't seasoned at all. Definitely try to stay somewhere else. Or at least go to the Denny's next door for breakfast.

While it is a nicely designed three star hotel maintenance is lacking, mainly hot water. Both studio rooms we had on the third floor didn't have sufficiently hot water. When we complained to the front desk they told us it happens and asked us to turn on the kitchen sink and run it while showering. We gave it a good try, but it didn't work. Imagine how much water is wasted this way. We were refunded $15 per room. Nice features include heated outdoor pool, which we did't use due to freezing weather. Only a few items were available at breakfast, but when most guests left in a tour bus, staff put out additional food like apples and yogurt. Just like in another review, my husband was accosted in the parking lot by a local man asking for money. That same man set just outside hotel's front door while we were unloading our luggage and checking in. Remember LOCAL LAW: consumption of alcohol is illegal on and off premises.

We absolutely love this hotel. What a great find. The people, the room, the bed, the bathroom, the pool.. did I mention the people ? They deserve a second or third mention... ALL GREAT/WONDERFUL. We would not have traded our stay at Moenkopi Legacy for anywhere else.

Very friendly staff. Only downside is that they wouldn't let me put a cot in a room that clearly had enough room. Other than that, really nice place.

5

Very nice hotel run by a local tribe and decorated in a Native Indian style. But there are two areas for improvement - breakfast area, which is currently so small that not all customers had a seat, and hotel management (my room was newly painted and not cleaned up, so I had to wait until staff cleans it when I arrived at night).

Pricey and very noisy. It's clean but definitely not worth the 149$ for just spending a night there. Profit off the Monument Valley proximity I guess.

The gem of the Navajo Nation. I'm not sure we saw a hotel that was better in the entire area. It's probably the nicest building in the area actually.

Stayed in Tuba City. Loved the space of the room. We asked for a handicap room. I use a walker to get around. The room had more space which made it easier for me to get around. The room was exceptionally clean. The bathroom was adapted very well for a disabled person. The shower was the best I have seen in any of the motels we've stayed in. Staff very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Stayed here just for one night before we headed off to the grand canyon. Great hotel, room and service. Every part of the staff was friendly and our overall experience was wonderul. If you are in the area I highly recommend this hotel! Even though it is alcohol free it is still good! :)

9

Great rooms, most friendly staff. Ran into the maintenance man in the elevator and he was very friendly and talked with us about our stay. And obviously no alcohol as it is on the res. So yeah, don't be stupid and bring some here. It's not the hotels fault, local law prohibits it. Other reviews that discredit this hotel because of that should be overlooked. This is a very nice place with very reasonable rates. Wifi worked good enough for me. If you're in the area and need a place to stay, look no further. This is a beautiful hotel.

The place is very neat and looks amazing. Inside and out. The rooms where a good size and had the standard stuff for like coffee and microwave and fridge. It was a great stay and I think its the closest to the grand canyon watch tower entrance. The staff was nice and informative. If I ever go back to the grand canyon will definitely be staying there again.
