It's a place to sleep that is cleanish and affordable.

Peaceful and quiet, I thought it would be one of those roadside dives but i was wrong. Good place to rest and recharge.

Very clean, nice updated rooms. It is sort of hard to find, I saw that in the reviews and didn't realize until we tried to find it. It's behind a Phillips 66 truck plaza! It doesn't look like much from the outside but the lobby and rooms are very nice. All of the rooms are on the first story so you can park right in front of your door. The trucks can be noisy but that's never bothered me much. Check in was quick and simple which was so nice after driving 12 hours. Pet friendly, complimentary coffee. Mcdonalds and Wendy's nearby, as well as that truck plaza. This location has restored my faith in Motel 6's and I hope they continue to do well. I would definitely book again. Beds were comfortable and large. Bathroom was stocked and clean.

Friendly staff. Nice clean room. You are near a truck stop and there a ton of trucks at night. Request a room on the back side. It's quiet. Microwave and fridge in the room. Updated rooms...very nice.

Always clean. Staff is friendly. Excellent clean outdoor area with picnic table for grilling. Don't be fooled by the truck parking, it is quiet, safe and always nice.

Was able to get a room late at night quickly. Rooms were nice. But their were quite a lot of bugs or ants in the bathroom. When we left we were told to leave the room key outside on a golf cart outside the office.

Had a wonderful stay front desk staff great and the house keepers are the best I've seen in a very long time they look like they enjoy there work they were so friendly took good care of me and my family while we where there . The rooms were very clean beds amazing sheets were soft loved it I'm telling every one I know to come here to stay this motel 6 is just great!!! Thank you all so much great place!!

I stayed 2 different weekends!!! The rooms are newly renovated and are beautifully done! I absolutely loved staying! The beds are comfortable, Sheets are soft, rooms smell so clean, I was so excited to see the lack of carpet and the lovely floors!!! The only small things I have to say about this place is on the 1st weekend I stayed I was in a room on the end and the noise from the truck stop made it difficult to sleep (but my headphones helped)... the 2nd weekend I was a few rooms in and it was much quieter, but the peep hole on my door was broke and they just stuffed toilet paper in where it so you couldn't see in/out of it! Other than that I very much enjoyed my time there and would definitely recommend this motel to ANYONE!!!

I was pleasantly surprised by the interior of this motel. The surroundings are a bit offputting with the 40 truckers and all but the rooms are very clean. No shampoo in the showers but for a budget motel, it was very nice.

Stayed here 2 days back. Very clean and well maintained motel, probably best motel 6 I have seen to now. The staff were amazing and friendly, even the House house keepers.
The late night when I checked inn, I spiled my coke on the bed and the floor, when I asked the manager for extra sheets so I can make my bed, he called the house keeper and make sured the bed was made and floor was moped. I will definitely stay here again and recommend my family and friends.

Motel 6 in Cameron,MO.

Good price, clean room, excellent staff. Staff went out of their way to fix TV and to loan an adapter to charge my cell phone.

It was quiet, clean and I would recommend Motel 6 in Cameron MO to anybody. I've been telling family and friends about my stay. I actually thought about staying another night but wanted to get to my grandkids ball game and surprise them. Thank you again for a great room.

I wondered if I made the right decision to stay here when I pulled up since it is next to a truck weigh Station, but I was pleasantly surprised when I opened my room! It smelled so clean and was great. The bed was very comfortable with nice sheets. It was perfect for my needs. I enjoyed my stay and was happy my dogs could be accommodated in a nice place. I will definitely be back!

Front attendant man was Very Pleasant Very Friendly I was pleasantly surprised with overall cleanliness of room especially for price although the floors in our room wasn't sweeper or mopped so to me flooring being disinfected after each guest is very important also the lighting in our room was very poor need a lamp or maybe new bulbs since they were Florissant but I do have to give them a 10 for the late checkout at NO charge so overall I'd give em a 8 outta 10

I've been at this motel for a month and the staff is always friendly and willing to go the extra mile to make sure we have everything w need. The rooms are clean, the Wi-Fi and cable too notch. I recommend this motel for anyone who is making a pit stop in Cameroon Missouri

I recall staying here a year ago and the front office staff was so friendly. This time, however, the man was a grouch. Extremely unfriendly, no greeting....kind of puts a bad feeling in a person. Other than that, we are satisfied with our staying here.

Basic room that was clean and no bedbugs. Towels had peculiar stains on them. Since it is located at a truck stop I asked for truckers rates and the guy took a whole penny off the bill. There are other motels in that area, I'll be checking them out next time I'm in the area.

A nice clean basic room. It's all I really need when traveling. The room had been remodeled not too long ago. It is not a luxury hotel but it's also not charging luxury hotel prices. The price was perfect for the room. The bath towels could stand to be a little bigger. They worked but were barely large enough to wrap around my wet hair. The hair dryer wasn't mounted back in the room after the remodel but they had one at the desk. There was coffee in the morning which is a plus. The one drawback was the trucks parked at the truck stop next door were running all night since it was cold. The wind was blowing the exhaust to the hotel at least part of the time when I arrived. It seemed to shift after a while. I did use ear plugs to soften the sound of the trucks.

Rooms were decent, friendly staff. NO BREAKFAST not even a banana, they have the room for it but I guess they are trying to save money. Go across to the acorn hotel they have an excellent breakfast.

Great last minute place. Clean new beds, wood style floor, very modern remodeled rooms. Dont let the name Motel 6 fool you as a cheap place with this location.

The man running the motel was very nice. The room was quite modern looking with the wood simulated floors. I did however have to fix the sink drain which was stuck on closed. The toilet was loose and rocked around when you sat on it. I couldn't find the "sleep" option on the TV remote control, which I find quite necessary these days.
Otherwise it was a nice place to sleep.

Clean & Comfy. Aside from the chipped paint in the bathtub, there was nothing to complain about. The desk clerk was very nice and polite. We'll be back!

Clean room. Good price. Easy to get there. No breakfast. Refrigerator seal didn't work and it leaked on the floor. Air conditioning worked great. It did keep things cold. We just slept there and then when went on our merry way.

A no frills place to sleep. No toiletries so bring your own shampoo. Towels were clean but hard and thin. Bed was ok. Easy access off the road. All in all, not a bad place for the price. I'd stay there again for an overnight, but if you're planning a long stay, I'd suggest someplace else.

The rooms were all newly refurbished including the bathroom! Slept great on the new ,foam mattresses - very, very comfortable. The front desk folks were welcoming and very helpful! Several restaurants were nearby as well.

The room was adequate size for three adults. We appreciated the frig and table and chairs. It rained in the night and the gutter overflowed on to my parked car. The coffee was very good in the morning.

My truck was in the shop and I needed a room asap, motel 6 was there and at the right price. The gentlemen at the desk was friendly and even gave me a phone charger for the night when I did not bring one and needed my phone to be charged. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and at a low cost. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing a place to stay.

Motel 6 at Cameron has wisely cut the frills but without sacrificing courtesy, clean rooms and bedding. For those like me, getting a motel is not taking vacation or a holiday -- it is too have the essentials with everything in good working order and efficient management. This Motel 6 has both. Two complaints, but typical in this price range, the AC is loud enough to force one to increase the volume quite a bit for the TV and any other listening devices. Plus, the absence of one comfortable chair, even a recliner would be great (for my back).

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was large and clean. WiFi wasn't working when we arrived, but had been repaired by the next morning. Sadly, this location is tucked away behind a VERY active and noisy truck stop. Sheets and towels were worn out, containing many holes, frays, and tears. We generally stay at Motel 6 when traveling and have no illusions as to what is expected. We found this, however, to be a disappointing experience.

I like the updated room which was very clean and had a comfortable mattress and pillows. The bathroom was also clean and inviting. The in room refrigerator and microwave worked fine. The television and Wi-Fi worked great and there was even a handy cable channel guide. None of the above was available at the Motel 6 in Joplin Missouri on my return Drive. I wish I wasn't so tired and could have continued on to Cameron for my night's rest stop. I would definitely stay here again the next time I'm driving cross-country!

The room was great. Location is good. Little hard to find since it was behind the truck stop. Maybe needs better sign on highway. If I hadn't brought my own soda, wouldn't have been happy as machines were out of order.

Found the room to be modern and up to date (including TV, microwave and fridge and bathroom) Did miss that there were no kleenix so used the alternative of TP. Would have liked for them to have either included the little bottles of shampoo or to have mentioned they weren't included. I didn't bring any because usually there. They may have had some at the desk but didn't want to bother.

I want to give Motel 6 the benefit of the doubt, and I do appreciate the cheap rates, but I begin to lose patience when I can't figure how to turn the shower on. The lady at checkout gave me the proper procedure, but I shouldn't have to talk to the main office to figure this kind of thing out. Also, at least one light switch seemed not to do anything. This is not the first Motel 6 in which various basics have been either broken or not as user-friendly as they should be.

A well done room renovation that included a wall mounted flat screen television, a small built in table with a cushion seat that also worked well for watching the tv. Microwave and refrigerator. Very clean room with a crisply made bed. Clean towels placed well. All in all a very welcome room for the price.

The staff was friendly and helpful and the room was fine. I had a terrible time getting there because my Google app showed it on the opposite side of a major highway from where it actually is. Also I didn't find the right driveway, so would up going through a truck overnight park, waiting for huge rigs to tack back and forth to get settled.

Room is actually quite nice and clean. Laminate floors means no gross carpet to walk on. Don't be put off by the exterior. The outside looks scary but the staff is friendly and very helpful and the room is good.

We were unexpectedly stuck in Cameron overnight due to car trouble. The service Manager at the local GM Dealership was kind enough to take us to the Motel 6 while we waited for repairs.

Very clean. Newly renovated. New laminate flooring. Not that nasty filthy carpeting. Has ok towels. Has a microwave and fridge. My only complaint was no little shampoo and no coffee maker. Very impressed.

Nice upgrades. Cable /TV was out so we got a discount. Did see a waterbug in the bathroom and smelled like sewer not working properly at times in bathroom. Toliet not steady/shifted. Clean and better than expected overall for the price.

This place rocks! It's spotless, no dirty carpeting, totally European decor. $49.99 with my 2 little dogs. Kudos, job well done, you guys!!!

It's not the greatest Motel 6 I've stayed at. Front desk staff was great and very accommodating. The room was nice, the beds were comfortable and sheets were clean, but the floors weren't that clean as there was dirt and small rocks in the corners. Also as expressed by other reviewers there is no weather stripping around the door which leads to the outside, sunlight creeps in from all sides of the door, had this been winter I'm not positive I wouldn't have woken with snow on the floor. Also the safety handle in the shower wasn't installed properly or even secured, so not only is it useless, water will be able to leak into the holes which at the very least will lead to mold and at worst will rot out the structure. There also was no cover for the light/fan in the bathroom, not a huge deal but further proof that the hotel owners have tried to cut corners to save cost in the remodeling of the hotel. Not positive I'd recommend staying here, nor would I say I will stay here again.

Excellent professional staff...room was nicest M6 I have stayed...this will always be my KC hotel when I come from north...M6 should consider this their flagship...$47 incl tax...stay on side away from truck stop if you are light sleeper...and don't judge the place from its outside!

From the outside, the Cameron, Mo Motel 6 isn't much to look at, but don't judge a book by its cover. Ample parking for vehicles of any size (I had a pickup with a large trailer, and had no difficulty maneuvering and parking), with reasonably easy access from the highway. The front desk and housekeeping staff were all excellent and very friendly. My king room was spotless clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The mini-fridge (included at no extra charge) was nice to have, as was the in-room dining table and seating, which I've only ever seen in suites.

I will definitely be staying at this Motel 6 again.

It's newly opened and the middle of Summer so don't let the grounds needing work deter you. The rooms are really nice, come with both a mini fridge and a microwave - they went with the dark wood instead of the pine most Motel 6's are going with and it works really well, very modern and comfortable. Clean, quiet and as always, very pet friendly. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for inexpensive, pet friendly place to rest their head.
