Been a great experience. We was able to take our 2 dogs with us. Even though the the rooms are being renovated they are still clean and the staff is welcoming and very pleasant. I will recommend and being staying there again.

My husband and I got in late, dead tired, two days freshly married headed for a brand new job and a working honeymoon. When my husband made the reservation he apparently asked if there was anything special that could be done for me. I'll never be able to thank you enough for comping our room and freeing up a little extra money for us to celebrate on. I've never had such sweet treatment from a chain motel. God bless you all. Not the standard layout like in most Motel 6s. Liked it overall but the rooms have a very rough or unfinished type of feel to them. But wifi is free and strong, rooms are more or less clean enough, and they pro-rate.

A bit to be desired. Water pipes were broken so no water til morning. Then we were leary of using it as it was pretty mucky looking. Bed was comfy and no extra charge for our dog.

Great people. Everything is renovated. They've put alot into making it a much better place and the price is right.

My Husband and I have been staying here while he works near Hobbs. This is your basic motel and it has good weekly rates! The rooms are clean and comfortable! The staff is very nice and helpful, especially Jessica! We have a microwave and refrigerator in our room. Pets are welcome here! The place is pretty quiet! There is no breakfast but, that isnt a big deal for us. I feel safe during the day while my Husband is at work! We also have a little carport to park under! The staff is constantly doing something to keep the place looking neat! We would for sure stay here again!

My husband always stays here when he is working away from home. We consider it his home away from home. The clerk that tried to help him Wednesday evening was a bit annoying, as she could not figure out what she was doing and refused help when it was offered by Sara (who has always gone out of her way to be friendly and helpful). Other than that, we love it here and plan to stay as long as they will have us!!!

The girl they had in the office, Karina, was rude and acted like we were bothering her when we came in to pay for another week. She was on the phone the whole time and only waited on us when we interrupted her long enough to ask if she had time to help us. Everyone else was helpful and courteous, and made our stay nice.

5 stars for the rest of the staff, 0 stars for the desk girl that checked me in. Corrina. She wouldn't get off her phone to acknowledge us when we walked in, and when she finally did, she was rude and took forever to check us in. Everything else about this place was great, as always!!!

I appreciate that you are dog friendly, as we were in town for a dog show...Hotel is very old, and could really use some help. Room was clean, greatly appreciated the micro and fridge. Bathroom really needed up dating - no hot water for sink, major water leak under sink, poor water pressure in shower, extremely hard to regulate water temp. shower door did not close, so water splashed on bathroom floor. We did not spend much time in the room, so it worked for us. Front desk staff very friendly - very easy check in process.

*Updating my review on 1/24/2018: Sara, the Hobbs location manager, got in contact with me & apologized about the confusion and also informed me I will be getting reimbursed. I'm happy with the end result of this situation & do plan on staying here again in the future should my boyfriend umpire in Hobbs again. I will also add stars since I'm a satisfied customer.

1/23/2018: My boyfriend is an umpire for baseball tournaments and has had tournaments in Hobbs in the past. Stayed at this location last year and was taken care of with no problems. When he had a tournament there again this year I chose this Motel expecting the same experience. I reserved the room for 1 night (Check in Sat. Jan 20 & Checked out Sun. Jan 21) and was charged the correct amount of $56.24. We stayed in room 131 and left the property by 10:30am Sunday morning and left the keys on the table. HOWEVER, I checked my bank account and saw an additional charge of $61.86 from Motel 6. Tried calling the actual location for about an hour and the line was busy so I had to resort to calling the actual corporate line. The rep told me I was charged for an additional night and transferred me over to Guest Services so they could see what was going on. I explained the situation to the gentleman there and he also tried contacting the actual Hobbs location but the line was busy for him as well. He put in a report to the GM, gave me a report number and said I should be contacted within 24-48 hours. A couple hours later I went ahead and tried the actual Hobbs location myself and Jessica answered. She explained to me that "I" (putting that in quotations because it sure wasn't me that stayed there) stayed an additional night (Sunday night and checked out late Monday) in room 158 & the manager ran my card for it. I had absolutely nothing to do with room 158 but for some reason my card was ran again without my authorization and somehow they have no record of me staying ever staying in room 131 at all. She then stated her housekeeper went and checked the room Monday and was told by "me" that I needed additional time before I checked out. Which is ridiculous because I was back home in Lubbock Sunday and was at work clocked in by 7am Monday morning. So I paid for a completely different person to stay there. I have yet to receive a call back from the manager regarding this issue and no confirmation as to when I'll be getting my money back for a room I did not stay in.

Great price! Employees were Great! Handy man was amazing, he helped my husband and sons load our luggage rack (he offered we dis not have to ask), he was friendly, and gave great directions.

Hobbs. NM. Easy access. Room was not well lit. Only one table lamp next to bed and the bathroom light.

Great stay at a low price and everyone is so friendly they go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable thanks!!!

Way rundown. Only room with hot water available had dirty bathroom. I can't believe Motel 6 Corp. Allows this poor of a facility in their chain.

oh, my..i forget the name of the lady behind the desk but she was awesome....I showed up early and she was very accommodating and also very funny..very pleasant...we had a great conversation while she was checking me in....the carpet looked old but that was not a problem at all....and I was in one of the older rooms so not a surprise...and I was told up front it was one of the older rooms....but it DID have more personality than some of the sterile hotel rooms one might stay in....great stay...and shade for my car in the hot NM sun...wonderful.

I've stayed at other motel 6 before and this one here is the best one yet. Little dated but clean.

The staff were all very courteous and helpful. My room was clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

Realistically it is what I paid for. Very cheap. It would be nice if the non smoking rooms were non smoking. My actually had ash trays. LOL

On our way back to Arizona we Stopped here for much needed rest. Once inside we realized the room had not been cleaned. There was black mold on one of the walls and the shower had a half used bar of soap and used wash cloth hanging on the shower Handel. We informed the front dest and they inspected the room and moved us to a larger room. I had not gone inside with my fiance and the gentleman from the front desk however when they saw the paper on the toilet seat and on first glance seemed ok. My fiance walked over to the store as I was getting ready to shower.... I inspect everything. Turned the bedding down, HAIR in the bed. The floor was not swept nor mopped. The toilet was not cleaned and the bath tub and shower was filthy. On the second bed once turned down had what looked like left overs from a couple's night.... I looked under and behind the beds and there was a blanket from the motel stuffed under the headboard plus an ashtray and salt or laundry detegent!!! WTC!!? I was livid!! We were so tired and needed rest!! Once we called the front and told them to just bring us fresh linen so we could shower and sleep. The gentleman from the front desk (Fernando) came in and gave us new pillows, clean linen and made the bed for us. He was very apologetic and informed us that the housekeeper had caused them 4 complaints that very night and as of that moment would no longer have a job. They went out of their way in several ways to do us right. If it was not for Fernando I wouldn't have given this place one star... I hope their word is true and she is fired, that bed was amazingly comfortable..... if you stay here make sure this lady is gone.

On Monday June 19 2017 I called the morning clerk on duty to see if she received my Expedia Reservation Special Request Comments. The clerk was generous and granted all the accommodations I needed to suit my health needs.

Room 111 is up front by the office is one of my boyfriend Jordan Bingham and my favorites. He said he likes it cause of the recliner and the bed comfy in that room. The style of that makes us both feel like we're at our house when traveling. It has a actual closet area with door where if you have visitors your Len's aren't noticable.

The room 111 has a shower bath tub combination. My boyfriend Jordan Bingham and I were excited about that. We took a soothing bubble bath. The Motel 6 Hobbs environment location is peaceful and quiet. None of the other guests are noisy and loud and no body bother anyone on the property. I really feel safe and secure at Motel 6 Hobbs. Each of the rooms has covered vechile parking at your room door. Witch is convenient and nice.

The only downside about this Motel 6 Hobbs location is. Renovation there pool area need and fill up there pool with water so guest could go swimming and keep their cool. Every time I come I always look at there pool to see if they filled up. Cause I always want to go Swimming when traveling and so far Motel 6 Hobbs Pool is empty.

My boyfriend and I always enjoy our stay by going out and staying active doing other community activities around Hobbs.

The Front Desk Clerks have always been generous and friendly to me so far !!

Not among the more stellar Motel 6s I've stayed in. The door peephole was literally a hole in the door! No glass! Anyone could have seen in.

Large room. Shower better than it looked. Lots of scale in shower door And door narrow, but shower clean and roomy. Pool not available permanently. Remodeling a little rough, but beds clean and basic. Staff friendly.

Arrived at the hotel near midnight, neighborhood seemed decent, but in the older part of town. Located a good distance from the casino and all the newer commercial stores and food options, we had to drive about 10 minutes to find things that were open late.

We were met at the lobby door as we pulled up. They unlocked the lobby so we could check in without using the little window. The room we received was huge, TV seemed tiny for such a large space. The room had new flooring & new furniture, but bathroom needed some work.

The beds were absolutely hard, almost no give to the mattress.. The pillows were feather filled but your head sunk through them and ended up laying on the hard mattress. When we awoke the following morning we were stiff and hurting. I remember waking up at least 4 times during the night.

The bathroom was old, shower was an old tile corner unit. Walls appeared to be painted hastily as you can see in the attached photos. Toilet handle also was broken and did not flush properly.

The major problem we had was with comfort of the beds. We stayed here because there were no available rooms in Roswell, Artesia, or Carlsbad. It was spring break weekend, everything was booked.

Not an absolutely horrible stay, but did not get a good nights rest, which is pretty much the goal.

The staff was extremely friendly, the rooms were very large and clean. The bathrooms need some extended love and care as the walls had been redone but not completed, the toilet handle was hanging from tank and a light was hanging from the fixture. Granted i did not feel as though i was in a horror movie, as the area is very nice and quiet. The beds were rather on the firm side and the pillows were such that if you flopped your head carelessly you would harm your head on the bed. The TV was rather small for the room size, but for the cost, it could of been worse.

The staff was very attentive and accommodating. They are working hard at keeping and renovating this 1940's historic motel. For that I give them alot of credit.
The rooms was clean, the bed comfortable, and the pillows soft and fluffy, unlike those" bricks" you find in some of the newer Motel 6's.
The place as well have the staff have a lot of character.

Big room ,fridge, microwave, chair. Nice room. Stay inside.

Nice staff, very old but remodeled motel.
You have to know to turn the light switch on at the door to power on the TV. Front desk person came over to show me that.
Good tv, hard floors, nice bed, air/heat worked.
Shower never got more than luke-warm. I didn't bother mentioning it until I checked out. Very affordable, but nothing makes up for luke-warm water.

They didn't clean our room right and the wife connector was not good

The motel is under new management. The owners are some of the nicest, friendliest and most hospitable people you could ever hope to meet. They are around halfway done remodeling the premises. My fiancé & I stayed 3 nights here in separate rooms. I think she got one of the already-remodeled rooms whereas I did not. So in comparison my room was relatively shabby, but clean. Her room was quite nice, with hardwood floors and so on. The price is very reasonable and I would stay here again.
