The first room we were given smelled like smoke. There were cigarette burns in the bread spread. We asked for a different room and were accommodated. The new room smelled better however there were cigarette burns also. The shower floor was badly stained and the water was barely warm enough to shower. There was hair in the tub and the towels were stained. On the upside, the bed was comfortable enough and the tv, microwave and refrigerator worked. No more Motel 6 for us.

Awesome experience!! My family and I stayed for a few days and the staff was amazing, everyone was so sweet and so helpful. The room was clean and very spacious with two bathrooms, two beds and a sofa. Beds were very comfortable.

this is a great place to stay if you need to be central to River Front Park or any of the businesses on Division. The service and customer cae are excellent, the only problem that I experienced was the condition of the room I stayed in was far below normal. The bathroom looked like someone had gotten drunk and destroyed it and someone had come in and tried to fix it with caulking and paint. I asked about the damage and was told that many of the rooms were in the process of being updated and that half of the hotel was closed due to this construction and the property would be up to date and be fully reopened by the end of summer.

This place was much nicer a year ago. I wouldn't say it's dirty now, but it isn't clean either. The lack of hot water is a big problem. I am not a fancy hotel person but I do expect to be able to take a hot shower (I have muscle problems and NEED one every morning). The staff at the front desk isn't super nice but they aren't unfriendly either, and I'm sure they deal with their share of unsavory people. The towels had stains but seemed clean, but I definitely advise wearing socks since the carpet is gross. The price is pretty good and I don't expect a lot from such a place, but I don't know that I'll come back again unless they fix the hot water situation, which is inexcusable.

This motel yes has some issues, after that being said, the night gal is very sweet and pleasant. The pool was down for a few hours, but was up and running by early afternoon. The rules are a tiny bit extreme but where they are located is a good reason. No continental breakfast, coffee until 10am sucks as I do like a cup in the afternoon. The smell of Weed does linger through the hallways. They need to remodel as some areas do seriously need it and new linens like bedding and what not. For the price I can't complain and night receptionist was very kind and pleasant and did her best to accommodate our needs!!

We enjoyed our stay at your motel, the bed was so comfortable we had a very good night sleep. I would recommend your motel to family and friends. The next time we are in Spokane, we plan on staying with you again.

The staff was great very friendly. And there was clearly renovations and work being done. For the price it's not a bad place to stay. However the rooms could use some major updates. New blankets and sheets would go along way for this place.

After reading the reviews others have written? I'm curious if we evern stayed at the same motel!
- Yes there is a list of rules that are given at check in. Including all adults must show ID. (Which is then written on a sign in sheet) and you must enter through the main door. As a mother who was traveling with children? This was a plus on the safety side for me! An added bonus was the big sign by the desk hanging below the camera that stated that they share all video feed with police when requested.
This also shows me several things.
1) that management is aware of illegal activity and 2) they are trying to limit the ability to conduct those activities on the property.
The clerk was matter of fact about the rules, but was not rude.
-As far as the room goes it was clean. My daughter did note she found some hair on the tub. But nothing major to complain about. I did see like 1 burn hole in my comforter, but again? It's motel 6 not a luxury hotel. Overall for the price? I was more then satisfied & I will stay again if I find myself needing to stay in Spokane.

Interesting Motel 6, they are really strict about guests and all people must show ID for a room (which I've never seen before). A lot of drug usage seems to happen here as there was a "disturbance" next to our room about getting a man to leave, paramedics were called, security, and then he was finally let to stay. Not the most quiet or clean place to stay either. But it was cheap! And for this it is completely forgiven.

The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The hotel had obviously been under construction. Dust and over spray paint all over. Have been to way nicer "2star" hotels for the same price or even less......

I was visiting town for a weekend conference and stayed at Motel 6 because of their reasonable rates for rooms. I arrived in town a little earlier then I had expected and the staff was wonderful about getting a room ready as soon as they could in the middle of a busy weekend. The room was clean and cool, a great escape from the heat of the days activities. On my second night the key cards would not open my door but the front desk staff was quick to the rescue and got them fixed for me. It was a pleasant stay and I would suggest this location to anyone looking to save money on hotel costs but still wanting to stay at a quality establishment.

The location was good. The room was nice and big. The bathrooms were nicely stocked with towels and bar soap, but that's it's. No toiletries. You had to buy those from a vending machine for a few bucks each. The staff weren't as friendly as they could have been. And the heated indoor pool was definitely not heated.

While the lobby was very nice, the rooms were very much lacking. I could see the lower level was at least getting new paint, so maybe they were working on getting it nicer in the future. Not that it really matters, but the bed wasn't even made straight. I wouldn't even mention it except the rest wasn't any better. The bed was Too firm, the tub didn't drain properly, the toilet was constantly refilling the tank, even when you jiggled the handle, and there was visible rust in the bathroom. In the hall, several vending and ice machines were out, but not all, so maybe it was just a bad week. The night staff person was not very good, just told us our issues could be fixed in the morning. The day crew was Excellent. They helped us with our charging issue and were very knowledgeable of their job, even the cleaning people were great. We did not have high expectations, as Motel 6 has the well deserved reputation of being the worst of the decent hotels, but also the cheapest. My expectations were met pretty evenly, it's not the worst place to stay, we only needed it for sleep, as we were very busy with family, but even that was barely manageable. All in all what we expected, so no hard feelings.

The nonsmoking room wreaked of smoking the bedsheets had burns through them. The door was falling of the frame. The tub took more than half an hour to drain. The tv was set to zoom instead of standard and you couldnt fix it with the provided remote. The window was nailed shut, but it's all the same because the view was of some dudes house. The main light switch turned on a light that at one time had a cover, but was replaced with rust. I never put anything into the fridge or microwave, but they both looked well worn. The only plus side to it is that the doors don't open up to the driveway, but rather to hallways. They didn't even leave the light on for me.

Our first night we were given a room and none of the lights worked. We changed rooms but the heater didn't work. Tonight we have a room that doesn't have heat but it has a ratty old air conditioner. Our bathroom fan doesn't work and I can feel the springs in the bed. This motel used to be a higher end motel. It's very run down and needs remodeling and deep cleaning.

Motel 6 offered a clean, dog friendly room for the night. Typical to the chain, the staff was friendly, the room no frills, but a comfortable landing pad for the night.

Well, the room was clean.. We stayed one night for a business trip. The other clientele made for an interesting experience. This may not be everyone's idea of an adventure, but it definitely proved to be a near-endless source of stories to tell.

I did not expect luxurious appointments, but I did expect the rooms to be clean, the telephone in the "suite" to work, the bathroom lights to work and the refrigerator to keep the items placed therein cold. When I reserved the two rooms, I reserved the suite with 2 beds, a hidabed and 2 bathrooms. We were given the room with 3 beds and one bath instead.

While our single room down the hall was adequate (none of the extreme deficiencies that were in the suite) the bed was much too soft and it was difficult to keep the room warm without being much, much too hot.

I was also dismayed to discover that while the rooms on the first level were all marked "nonsmoking" rooms, the entire hotel reeks of cigarette smoke. Perhaps caused by the guests smoking outside the door at the South end of the hallway, leaving the door propped open so they could return. I've never known of any hotel not to have a keyed entryway to prevent this propping open of the doors. Security is definitely not a high priority here.

I especially like that you can make a reservation for a loved one who is stranded by calling the 800 number. No other hotels/motels in Spokane does this! So appreciated!!

Check in was quick and easy and the clerk was friendly and funny. We had a problem with the first room which we reported, it was dealt with briskly and with no apology by a different clerk. We were moved to another room. The second room was not great...it was clean. We wound up with the same problem in the second room. We were too tired to complain, so we slept. In the morning we reported the problem to the 3rd clerk. She apologized and did everything she could to remedy the situation. I found her to be professional and pleasant to work with.

I was left with a pleasant memory of my stay.

Spokane downtown. Old, run down. No 24 hour door access ridiculous! I shouldn't have to wait for an inattentive clerk to open the door after 10 o'clock) . Overwhelming chemical smell, unable to open window. Great brand, I just question whether this hotel belongs under it.

North Spokane Motel 6, the rooms were clean and updated. The pool area is just that a pool that isn't heated and a shower. The Motel was clean and welcoming. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and nice. Reasonable priced.
