Nice place, friendly staff, clean but a bit in need of freshening up. Large rooms and private bedroom in suite at a decent price. Convienient location to 401 Oshawa/Whitby. Good breakfast choices. Lots of parking. There are wheelchair accessible washrooms. I would stay again. Weekend pricing is a bit on the higher side but decent and comparable to any other hotel, throughout the week.

A cozy room with a bed, table, kitchenette, closet, and decent-sized bathroom. It was perfectly situated for my purposes because I wanted something close to the train station. I only stayed for the one night so I didn't have much time to use any amenities or try out the breakfast.

Great rooms with excellent temperate control. Breakfast was lackluster but other than that a great stay

Clean, comfortable and very good value for what we rented. Was a good place to stay before we drove into Toronto for a concert. Breakfast was okay, but it was free, so I wasn't expecting more.

Rooms were nice but the non smoking room smelled of stale tobacco.
The included breakfast was not enough for all the guests and there was none left when we came to eat. Even the coffee had run out..

The location of the hotel is perfect, situated just off the 401. The suite was very comfortable and the service was excellent.

For the price you get a clean but basic room. Just right for a nice sleep. Despite having a room on the same side as the 401 we couldn't hear the highway at all overnight. If you're looking for a basic room, this is perfect.

Nice rooms. Still a late 90's early 2000's look, but they're clean and well priced. Separate bedroom is a nice touch.

Room was good had lots of space, water and coffee we're ok. Room had a tv mounted on a wall that didn't have a power outlet in the wall. Was very peculiar, had to show presentation on small laptop screen. Otherwise perfectly adequate as a meeting space for small (15 people or less) meetings.

7

Nice to have a separate bedroom as well as a 2nd bed (not a sofa bed) in the sitting area. Spacious clean room. Breakfast sub-standard both in quality and service compared to other Choice hotels; the female breakfast server really appeared to be unhappy in her job.

It's a good place to stay. Large clean rooms and friendly staff. It looks dated from the outside but don't judge a book by its cover. I would recommend this establishment to anyone needing affordable accommodations for the night or two.

Understaffed Hotel. Waited 40 min to check in after hotel check in time. The plus was the staff were very friendly and apologetic for the inconvenience. We were suspicious for the delay in our room being ready as the stench on BO was overwhelmingly strong. The cleaning staff had cracked the two little windows as it was a suite to try to air it out.

Good size room, every room has a fridge, microwave. It was clean. It would be nice to have a room for teams. To hang around in. Something bigger and better than the lobby

Suites were mediocre, even the executive suites were just okay. Customer service was good, had been given a non smoking room that smelt like cigarettes- after informing the staff we were given another non-smoking room that did not smell.

Stayed here with a group after an event. Our check in was friendly. There was a minor glitch but it was handled professionally by the night check in staff. The room was great! Lots of room, very clean, comfortable bed. Morning check out was fine. Not quite as pleasant as the night staff but efficient.
I would recommend to anyone staying in the area.

The location was fabulous. The room huge. Blackout curtains worked great. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The room was clean. The wifi was excellent.Staff were nice and helpful. Breakfast was good - what you would expect. Kitchenette allowed for a variety of options not just eating out. It was nice and quiet inside.

While it was a little dated I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Location was great, walkable to Durham College. I got a room next to the road, so my only complaint was the noise from the highway. However, the bed was comfy and washroom had high water pressure. The curtain was total blackout and the temperature was ideal. Would visit again

Nice and quiet area on the outside city area. The parking lot was packed and crowded when me and my family stayed here. Besides that it was quite pleasant.

This place was absolutely fantastic! The staff were all above and beyond friendly! The rooms were large, well maintained, clean, and very comfort. This place is just outside of town, so it's cheaper, quiet, but close enough to drive to all you need. I would recommend staying here to anyone

When asked a worker at the front desk politely if she could recycle my items, she told me she would, and turned away and threw them in the trash. Now, it may not be a huge deal to many, but think of this next time you throw that piece of paper in the garbage; recycling paper creates 73% less air pollution than remaking it. So next time, worker-lady, don't lie to me when I ask you to recycle something because it is generations like you who are killing the planet.

Stayed here after arriving back from vacation only to be met with delayed bags and horrendous driving conditions. Arrived after midnight and the night porter was helpful and efficient. Breakfast (included) was basic continental but good. Plenty of food. Would be happy to stay here again. 4 - 5 stars for what it is - a basic but comfortable place to stay in an emergency.

Nice hotel. Mostly clean, but they missed the coffee machine. It had old coffee in it.
Other than that, the location was convenient for us, and the stay was quite adequate.

Thank you

Originally was staying in nearby Travelodge for work, but had to move because they didnt have availability for all dates. Not only was Quality ($20-$30) cheaper, the rooms were a step up and so was the hotel overall.

I had a clean, well appointed suite with separate bedroom and large living/dining area. Basic fridge (small) & microwave. Stayed a week doing the night shift, so didn't get to try the breakfast, but housekeeping cooperated in cleaning my room early so I could sleep during the afternoon. That cooperation from hotels/housekeeping is huge for people that travel to work non-standard hours.

Truly enjoyed the large suite; spacious and comfortable! This is a newer hotel. Right off the 401, but do not let that deter you - cannot hear the highway at all. Complimentary continental breakfast was a step up from the usual: they had scrambled egg (delicious) and fried bacon in addition to the usual cereals, breads, muffins, coffees, juices etc. A pleasure to stay there from beginning to end.

I had to stay here when we had a house fire. Started to feel at home. Big rooms. No Wifi but Ethernet cables in every room. Continental breakfast just bagels and muffins. Comfortable beds large washrooms
