Floors pretty dirty. Sheets, blankets and towels had stains and holes in them. But, all seemed cleaned. Trash sat in hallway during our whole 2 nights. Batteries missing in TV remote, then we had to fix the TV on our own. (mess with cords in the back) Ac worked good and hot water.

It's affordable and quick most days. I imagine red roof makes amazing profits. They should be able to update every location. Where's the glory in leaving a dirty rundown location to rot. Update , I say! Update! What say you, sir?!?

It was what I expected for the price. Room was an okay size for just one night.

Really close to where we were needing to go.
Room wasn’t thoroughly cleaned with stuff still in the fridge and in the trash. No biggie really.

Bedding was clean and crisp. You can tell it was washed and changed. Shower was really loud through walls when you ran the water. It made it hard to sleep when someone showered.

The WiFi didn’t work what so ever. We didn’t bother calling because we were so tired from our travel but it was rather irritating.

The door was tricky to work, to close it you had to turn the handle from the inside on your way out. Kinda weirded me out. But it was okay.

Staff was really nice.
Would stay here again if we had to but wouldn’t be my first choice.

The clerk was very curt and gave little help. The room smells like three day old socks. The door looks like someone with arthritis can kick it in. The A/C sounds like it's on its last legs. The refrigerator is a college reject. The bathroom barely fits one person. The drawers were kicked in from a previous drunk. And the TV tilts at a 30 degree to the left.

It's definitely a 5 star cheap hotel.

Joe and his staff r great... Joe is very friendly respectful to everyone always asks how we are and he walks the ground and helps with anything he can and he's not afraid to work side by side with his staff.... Also he is a veteran and to me that means a lot cuz he no how to treat people....

Doors don't work half the time. Card with make the door turn green but handle will not open the door. Office people get irritated if you ask for help to many times. Manager that was supposed to be on duty was in OHIO and I had to wait an hour with 3 children under 3, for someone to let me into my own room. No laundry fecility. No fun for children. No swimming. Just a pop machine with pop expired by 4 years and a coffee set up.

8

Very impressed, and a surprising stay overall. Better experience with the staff than I've received at many high scale hotels where I usually stay - checking in at 3 am and having to get going by 9, location was more important than name brand, and I feel lucky to have chosen this motel. The clerk was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and tidy if not entirely modern, and I rested well without being disturbed by rowdy neighbors or traffic noise.

My wife and I stayed here for a vacation. Overall, pretty good hotel, but we also didn't spend a whole lot of time at the actual hotel. The room we had was a little small, but we really just slept in the room, so we weren't looking for much. If you have kids or something, this might not be the best bet. Location wise, it is kind of on a weird road, but once you know where it is, its pretty easy to get into and out of, and you're close to all the Novi and Farmington Hills restaurants and shopping.

Most of the time what a traveler need is a clean room, good WiFi, safe neighborhood, eatery options and a good customer service. And believe me, this property has got everything what one needs.
Rooms are clean, good WiFi, located right on interstate exit connecting all interstates, neighborhood safe and connected to multiple eatery cuisines and gem of a customer service staff Sophia, Regina, Brooke, Rafia, Ike all of them. Thanks Sophia & Regina always to guide and help me out with my requests. Keep rocking Team!👍👍

The Red Roof Inn is not far from the freeway. It's close to a family restaurant. The service was good. Rooms were nice and clean. They were very professional in the front office. All around our stay has been great since we been here.

Friendly service for my one night stay. Room was clean enough to sleep, however the room could definitely be updated. The TV was to dark to watch and even though the area is nice the one night was very noisy from traffic and housekeeping. Overall ok

We were pleased with the clerk at the front desk. She aided us when we had a problem with the room at check-in and she upgraded us and made sure we were happy. We would recommend this hotel to family and friends...as a matter of fact, we already have.

Price and decor are great. Friendly staff. No pool or breakfast though. TV was fairly small and quite dark to see the screen. Better than a motel 6 and the water pressure is good but could still use a little closer cleaning detail.

I have to say, of all the hotels in the area, this hotel is GREAT. Excellent customer service from Sophia , everytime I stay there. I'm in from out of town a lot and have never had a bad experience there. The place is very clean, nice and peaceful .
One time I made a mistake on Expedia with my Reservation and John the manager told me not to worry and took care of it right away. He actually got me into a room fast when I was the one who made the mistake. I wouldn't stay anywhere else when I'm in town. I actually get worried they might not have any vacancies when I'm on the flight there. I highly recommend this hotel to all. The price is right and the service exceptional...

Thanks guys.....

I was there for Motor City Comic Con this past weekend (Thursday, 05/18/2017 - Sunday, 05/21/2017). Three days at this hotel was a bit much. I guess the saying is true though for this hotel - you get what you pay for. It was the cheapest hotel in the area for Motor City Comic Con but now I understand why. It was just ok. I wouldn't recommend it for 2+ more nights. We weren't even in the room much other than for sleep and shower. When we checked in, we noticed our room wasn't exactly clean. There was a used hand towel and bar of soap still on our sink. A few hairs in the bathroom. But I realized, it wasn't just that day that the housekeeers suck. it was every day. They did a hit or miss. One day, change our towels, the other day, not do our beds, etc. They were by far one of the worst housekeepers I've had in a long time. You do the exact same job day by day in every damn hotel room. Its not that hard. Then there was the sad toilet that wouldn't even flush. The bathrooms were clearly not made for average sized Americans. The beds were super hard. Everything in the room (including the tv and sink) were all to the left. There are no coffee makers in the room. It was a nice feature for the microwave & fridge though. Shady internet that barely worked all weekend. 12 whole tv channels (with 4 of them being ESPN). And what was worse was the stadium light that was pointing at our window all night. I didn't get any sleep at all. The only plus side is, I didn't hear our neighbors upstairs or on either side of us all night. The one thing that did bother me, car alarms in the morning. I didn't get the spot in front of my door at all all weekend. It really bugged me on that aspect that other people were parking there. No extra perks either like free breakfast. I just know in the future, I will not be booking Red Roof Inns any time soon.

It's ok for the price. If you can get a deal do it. The rooms seemed cleaned, we had no issues. Remember it is economy, and low price. If you want a bunch of extras this wouldn't be the place. If you need a place to crash while you go out and have other stuff to do then this place would be a good idea. It's located near the freeway and there is a restaurant right in front.

This hotel is ok. If you can get it for a good price, go ahead and stay here. However, you have to realize that this hotel is showing its age. It isn't hard to find signs of wear and tear.
My bed was hard to sleep in, it was not flat. The mattress was bowed in the middle. It felt like I was sleeping on the side of a hill.

I stayed in this hotel the week of March 5-7th, 2013. Check-in was pretty quick. I went to my room and had alot of work to do for a presentation the next day. Around 2:00am I was ready to go to bed and pulled the covers down to find 15-20 long black hairs on the sheets. I had a double bed room and although very disgusted, I was tired and didnt want to move in the middle of the night so opted to try the other bed. Yes you guessed it, the other bed was as bad or worse with long balck hairs in the sheets and stains on the sheets. I had to get dressed and go to the front desk. I had to talk to the front desk operator through the 2" thick glass plate. She moved me to another room without much question. This room was a queen bed and "appeared" to be clean. I went to bed. I got up the next morning and turned on the TV to watch local news while getting dressed. Of course the TV did not work. After getting dressed, I again went to front desk and complained about the TV. They said no one has ever complained about the TV. I left for my meeting and upon returning, there was a different TV in the room that did work in some fashion. I do not know if they just do not subscribe to the "normal" hotel type programming but you could not order or watch any of the movie channels or premier programming. Upon check out NO discount was offered until I received the bill and complained that I was not going to pay full price. The only discount the hotal was willing to give was $20 total off the bill for having hair in both beds of the first room, having to move rooms at 2am in the morning, then no working TV in the second room. This place is disgusting and I will never stay here again. For the record, this was my second time staying at this location, mainly b/c of the convenience of how close it is to my meeting location.

It's an inexpensive place to stay...if you want 4-star quality, go to the 4 star hotels and pay that price. Other wise if you're just looking for a place to crash, this works. The front desk staff were friendly and the rooms were presentable.

We stayed to get out of the heat. The rooms are very clean and look newly refurbished. The staff was very polite. You can't beat the price!
